I booked this hotel based on the photos on the Hotels.com — a bright, spacious room with modern furnishings and what appeared to be a comfortable, well-appointed space. What I walked into was something entirely different.
The room looked nothing like the photos. Not even close. Different furniture, different layout, different lighting, different everything.
The bed was acceptable, which I suppose is the bare minimum one can offer and still legally call a place a hotel.
The TV was not operational. Not slow, not glitchy — simply off. Dead.

The air conditioning unit deserves a special mention. It worked — technically — but sounded like a washing machine containing a handful of loose gravel.

Breakfast deserves its own paragraph — and not a flattering one. Lukewarm scrambled eggs of mysterious origin, and jam packets so small they were essentially decorative. The cutlery provided was the cheapest plastic I have ever had the displeasure of eating with — the fork bent attempting to pierce a sausage. A sausage. I didn't know that was physically possible.
I travel frequently and I have stayed in different hotels before — I have no objection to modest accommodation honestly presented. What I cannot forgive is the deliberate gap between what was advertised and what was delivered.
Do not book here unless your expectations are extraordinarily low.

The biggest pro of this hotel is that it is close to pretty much everything and you get free parking so it's a great walkable location. Half of the lot was under construction though and I was worried one night we wouldn't get a parking spot despite it being included. I had to park next to the do not cross lines.

There is definitely a mold problem and I wouldn't drink any of the tap water. Visible mold in sinks and shower, and you can smell it. The knob of the shower fell off when we tried to use it but we got it reattached. The hotel is good for sleeping but not much else.

Our keys demagnetized despite keeping it away from our phones like staff recommended so we did have to go to the front desk to get those fixed. Breakfast is until 11, but they lock doors 20 mins beforehand and front desk was kinda rude about it until I said I literally just wanted a drink of juice and they let me in through the staff entrance.

Overall, I've stayed at worse hotels for more, but I definitely wouldn't book this place in advance. Do it day of, otherwise you're paying too much for what you're given.

I cannot say enough nice things about the staff. The location is also great, despite a long walk uphill. The pool and jacuzzi were also an awesome touch.
The room was “generally” clean. The sheets smelled clean and didn’t have stains. ALL the faucets jiggled and pipes squeaked when turned on. Our room was missing a drying towel rack in the bathroom and you can see where it was removed, still exposed with the other end still hanging onto the wall precariously. The sink did not drain efficiently. Loose tile from the sink were found on the floor. The door stops on the closets went through the hollow doors. Bits of wood were exposed. The TV barely worked, no cable.
If you can get over the aesthetic misses, the location is great. Also comes with a hot breakfast!

It’s all about location. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the falls and the casino is across the street. The room was clean and comfortable but fallsview is a misnomer unless you pay for it room facing them. My room had a balcony facing opposite the falls but the door did not work smoothly. Some of the property could use a refurbishment. The breakfast was standard continental fare, nothing special. The hotel has a ridiculous starting time for breakfast, 8am and they enforce it. By 8:05 the line was 15 deep

I would recommend they try a different breakfast spread it’s been the same for the last 6 years at least if not longer. Our room hot tube was out order, but the price was reduced which was good. And they overbooked leaving no room for parking if you left out late and returned back. But overall we love coming here highly recommend!!

The hotel is in a great location! It is easy to walk to the Falls, Welcome Center, restaurants, attractions, Rainbow Bridge, Clifton Hills, and much more. The WEGO bus is also easily accessible a short distance from the hotel and has stops near all of the attractions.

We stayed in the tower. The room was clean, had a small refrigerator, and even had a balcony with a distant view of the Falls. For our room, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was decent but needs updating. Noise may be somewhat of an issue (such as other guests’ room doors closings, bathtub faucets being turned on/off, and/or furniture being moved across the floor in the room above). The free breakfast options consisted of standard items. Free parking was also a plus!

The room was very basic and we got 2 beds advertised as queen size, but were very small. The floors should be mopped. The beds were full size beds, not Queen size. Breakfast was free but continental. This isn’t a hotel, it’s a motel. The location was good, the linens were clean, and the shower worked well but the curtains were sticky, the curtain hook fell off the wall, there was no lock box, and it didn’t look anything like the photos. The breakfast was mediocre and very limited but there was only one lady taking care of the whole room and because of that all the tables were constantly dirty. There is also a $12 service fee even though we didn’t ask to be serviced every day and there was a sign in the room saying towels were only going to be replaced every 3rd day. Could have gotten a better place for the same price for sure

The cleanliness of the room was the only real negative (the rooms were nice and a good size though) saw some stains and hair around the room but nothing majorly concerning. It was a cheap hotel just for one night so it was sufficient enough (you get what you pay for). The breakfast was so so. The best thing about this hotel is the parking free!

First night was terrible when we got to our room it had just recently been clean and had an overwhelming smell of disinfectant. We turned on the air conditioner because of the disinfectant smell plus there was a heat wave, we left to go out for the evening. We returned around 1:am when we walked into the room we were overwhelmed by a musty urine type smell that was coming out of the air conditioner I woke up throughout the night with a pounding headache. We were put into another room the following night. The furniture in both rooms were in terrible dilapidated condition absolutely nothing like what you see in the photos on their website. Quality is not on their priority lists, we won’t return and would never recommend staying at this hotel even though it’s in a very convenient location.

Staff: When we checked in on July 9, the female staff member was friendly and helpful. However, when we checked out on July 10, the male staff member seemed rather cold when I informed him about the issues we found in one of our rooms.

Room: We booked two rooms, and one of them had two maintenance issues: peeling paint on the ceiling and a ceiling light fixture that was partially hanging. Unfortunately, we didn't notice these problems until the following morning.

Breakfast: The breakfast was good and we enjoyed it.

Booked 4 rooms for a 3-day family holiday.
Isabelle at check-in was very good, but her 2 colleagues (elderly lady and man) were outright rude and offensive in the way they treated us and responded to questions during our stay.
The rooms were decent and clean but one room balcony door was sealed shut. The air con was SO LOUD, it made it impossible to relax in the rooms. Room cleaning was generally not a thing, with staff coming late in the day to ask about towel and supplies replacement. The hotel had TSN, so we could watch the World Cup in our rooms, but the TVs were quite small with poor quality pictures (think 20 years ago tvs). The best thing about the rooms was the beds, which were extremely comfortable.
The breakfast was appreciated, but would be helpful if they opened earlier than 8am, as during the summer lots of guests were eager to get their day started and it was very crowded. The pool was okay, but humid and very stuffy. The one hotel lift bounced around at every stop and didn't feel safe.
I wouldn't be recommending this hotel.

It was open until 11am which was a very pleasant surprise. Never crowded. Lots of comfortable seating. Front desk offered to move us to the ground level when they saw we had lots of luggage and children. Did not have a chance to use the pool and hot tub but they looked good. With all the hidden fees and taxes the room came out to over $500.
The room was so outdated and the curtains were so frayed I was afraid they fall apart if I touched them. the one chair in room I would not sit on as tears in leather and filling coming out. When I went to ask to have my room change all he said 'there are no others it's one of the busiest weekends, you'll be fine\" I didn't ask if I be fine I told him felt room was extremely outdated. I felt unsafe having to climb stairs to get to my room. I did not have breakfast there as when I checked in the guys at front desk were not welcoming and did not explain where things were located and after seeing the room, did not feel encouraged to even have a coffee there.
Good thing; the location was fantastic and room cleaner than I would have expected for such an unwelcoming outdated place. I guess all about location and that gives them the right to charge an outrageous amount for a room that should be condemned.
