Although the hotel is a bit dated, it's very well-maintained, and the waterfall view alone makes it worth every penny. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, check-in was quite a hassle because our initial room had broken lights and wasn't the room with floor-to-ceiling windows shown on the booking page. Thankfully, the staff who processed our room change was extremely helpful and responsive.

Overall, a nice hotel. We did pay extra for a room with a view since we were celebrating my birthday. It was nice when we asked the front desk if they did anything special for birthdays they offered freebies. One annoying thing was the parking. It is around $50 a night and there is a bit of a walk to get to. I love how there was live music in the lobby area and often water to fill your bottles in the lobby. I also loved the jacuzzi in the room, which was a nice touch for a special occasion.

I used to book Marriott Fallsview at least twice a year. Last week I booked 3 executive suites for mid-week 2 night's stay. At 4:30pm 2 were still not ready, reception took my phone number and e-mail with promise to contact me as soon as suites are ready. Nobody did till 10:30pm when we checked-in again. Maybe small negligence, but should not happen, especially for $750+/night suite.

We stayed here for 3 nights, the king mattress was horrible it sunk in the middle. My daughter and I had horrible sleeps all three nights, we did complain about the bed and they sent people to fix it while we were out, but it still sunk in the middle when we slept on it. For the money you spend on rooms they should “replace mattress’s “
that are worn out. I have personally gotten to liking B&B’s over hotels!

Decided to spring for the extra cost to view both Horseshow and American Falls from our room with the added bonus of having a birdseye view of the nightly fire works display.
We also had dinner at the Skylon Tower for a 360 degree view for dinner, something we had done exactly 25 years ago.
Parking was a little expensive but was to be expected.
Highly recommend to anyone that might have already did the Maid of
The Mist boat ride and just looking to enjoy the view of the falls for as long as you desire.

Our Marriott stay was better than a 4 but not quite a 5. Get a room on the 21st floor because the view from our room of the Falls was excellent plus you have an excellent view of the 10PM fireworks. Our room was 2122.The fireworks may only be 5 minutes but they are really good. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. The bridge from the Marriott to the cross the road was closed which made it a little more dangerous to head over to the Falls upper viewing area. Bring your good walking shoes. $70 a day for valet parking. $50 a day if you park yourself but the parking is 1.5 blocks away. OK if the weather is good but a hassle to cross the busy street on Stanley. The vending machines are a ripoff so swing by Walmart before arriving at the motel. Most didn't work and when you punched water, it gave your rootbeer. Ice machines are on the even floors. We didn't eat their because of prices.

We stayed at Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa and had a very good experience overall.

Julia at the reception was really nice and helpful. She checked us in for our three rooms and tried her best to give us rooms close to each other, which we really appreciated.

The rooms were very good, and all of them had beautiful waterfall views. The only downside was the waiting line at reception. They seemed to have only one or two counters open out of four, possibly because they were training new employees, as we noticed two staff members at each open counter.

The valet team was excellent. The guys were very nice, friendly, and welcoming.

Overall, it was a great stay, especially because of the rooms, the views, and the helpful staff.

We enjoyed our stay - with every room having a view of the falls, you can't go wrong. The staff was friendly, but our check-in clerk forgot to give us the ticket to put on our car dash to show we had paid for parking. We had to ask after seeing something in the room about the parking rules. We then had to walk quite a way in the heat to place the ticket on the dash to avoid a tow or other consequence. The hotel has many amenities and is located close to all the things. We would recommend staying here - just ask for your proof of parking!

Hotel had an amazing view of the falls (The best u can get in my opinion). Check in was swift and accomodated an early check as well which was great.

However, the water in the washrooms were boiling hot which could not be resolved during the tenure of our stay. This was somewhat disappointing because we couldnt get a comfortable shower after using the hotel pool and with the hot temperatures outside, it was somewhat underwhelming (especially considering the amount we paid to stay here). Additionally, the wall separating our unit from the neighboring unit was very thin. We were woken up couple of times at night to the sound of our neighbors door slamming which almost sounded like our door.

Brought these issues to the staff at checkout and the gentleman just passed it off awkwardly. Great stay in all minus these issues for future guests to be aware.

Checking in was easy. But we lost power on Thursday night and did not regain power until Saturday morning. The staff did not communicate well. No mass text, no emails and no direction on what their plans were to help us or the people staying in the hotel. Finally Thursday at 4pm when people were there to check in they started sending people to other hotels that had vacancies. Also, before we lost power, the water to the hotel was shut off from 11:00pm 6/25/26 to 4am 6/26/2026. Once the power was restored on Saturday morning, we did not have hot water. This was me and my wife's 21st anniversary trip. So, Marriott told us they would not charge us for the nights that we had no power. But since my was pre-paid thru cheap tickets, I would have to wait for my money back.

At first, the service at the front desk seemed a bit poor; the man wasn't very friendly. Then we got to our room and were pleased with it, though we thought it would have been slightly better if we’d been given a room on a higher floor—but we accepted it as is. The next morning, we had to call for drinking water because none had been left in the room, and the same thing happened on subsequent days; they only left water for us on one day. The towels, however, were excellent—they looked brand new! The dining area and the staff were always very cordial and friendly. Overall, it was a very good experience!

Thanks for asking as we were there for our honeymoon!

First, ice was supposed to only be on even floors, but that wasn’t true because the ice machine was broken on the twentieth floor, so we had to go to the twenty second floor.

The jacuzzi didn’t work, but we found out that the instructions were on a small card on the bathroom wall, not near the jacuzzi. Nobody knew how to work it until our last day, so we never got to use it.

Finally, on our last day, the power went out in the entire hotel, allegedly because of the previous night’s storm, so we had to descend twenty one flights of stairs, with our luggage, to exit the hotel. When I checked out, I was told that because we went through Expedia, they would need to call and the Marriott would, “see what they could do” about any type of credit/reimbursement.

Given this experience, we will think twice before selecting The Marriott in the future, because this was very disappointing, to say the least.
