To reach the room on the second floor, you have to use an old, rusty metal staircase. Two foul-smelling trash cans stand next to the stairs. The veranda in front of the rooms was very dirty; overflowing ashtrays were lying around, and the floor was covered with old, worn-out carpets. The beds were clean and fine, but the room and bathroom hadn't been repainted in a long time—the same goes for the furniture. The bottom of the bathtub was very worn. You have to pay an extra $10 for parking. There was no coffee or ice machine available. At least the refrigerator worked.

We travel lots for work and to visit family. I am not opposed to dated rooms etc. As long as it is clean and in good repair. We travel as cheap as possible and dont expect much. This was the first time we have arrived somewhere and literally turned around and walked out of the room. Which we were very disappointed as we used our reward room and were out the fee for the 2nd night. At the end of the day the 200+ loss was still worth piece of mind of not staying there. Do not recommend at all. Niagara Falls has lots of other options for the discount traveler.

Don't rent a room at this motel. It would be a big mistake. It's better to pay a little more and stay somewhere comfortable.
I rented a room at this motel and deeply regretted it. After that experience, I was left with a negative impression of the city itself.
There is practically no customer service. Guests are often misled. I even killed bedbugs in my room and reported it to the staff, but they didn't bother cleaning the room. The dead bugs were still left on the floor.
The bed linen was of very poor quality. Trust me, spend a few extra dollars and stay somewhere better.

On 5/ 22/2026, we checked in the Ritz Inn Niagara. The first room had toilet issues. The manager suggested using the plunger. In a second room, the television was not working properly, finally we moved to a third room.
On the morning of 5/23/ 2026, my husband said he had been bitten by something during the night. Shortly thereafter, he saw a bug and smashed it. He looked closely at the bed and headboard and then moved the bed. In addition to the apparent bites on his arms, there were indicators of bugs. The office manager was not in, so my husband flagged down the cleaning person, showed him the bug and asked him to change all the bedding, sweep the floors behind the beds and spray for bugs. The cleaning person returned with linen, a broom and some type of insect spray so we left the room.
Late into the night and early into the morning of 5/24/ 2026, both my husband and I had been bitten several times. We contacted another hotel and made arrangements to stay there. We found the office manager and let him know we could not stay at that hotel because it was unhealthy and unsafe because of the bugs. I showed the office manager several of my bite marks (face, arms, legs, knees) and I told him I would like a refund for the room and the parking. He said he would have to put in the request with Hotel.com and to call back in a few days. We have photos to document this issue.
We would like to be refunded for the room and parking due to the extenuating circumstances.

The staff was very courteous and helpful, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The large jet tube was great. It had good water flow so it did not take long to fill, the temperature was easy to control, all the jets worked and was able to control how strong they were, and the water was clean and clear.

The reason for the low score is because of the door. The door only had one lock (door knob lock), also was difficult to close and secure. Got into a verbal altercation with another guest because I had to force the door shut to get it to latch and that made a lot of noise. I was worried the whole time when I went out for dinner that someone was going to get into the room. If there was also a deadbolt that guests could lock with the key, I would have not have had to worry.

This budget hotel provided exactly what we expected for the price. The room was clean and included the essentials: microwave, fridge, hot water, TV, and basic furniture.

The location was convenient – about a 10–15 minute walk to the incline railway that brings you down to Niagara Falls, which made it easy to reach the attractions.

The only issue was the lack of accessible outlets for charging phones and other devices. There were none available, so we had to manage creatively.

Overall, it’s a simple and clean option with a good location, well suited for a short stay.

This property is good in the picture but in reality, it is not, it is misleading and very frustrating. I can't believe that Expedia is doing business with this property.
In fairness to the owner/management, your property is very accessible to all the places around but for some noticeable reasons, you have to fix everything so that you can serve your guests without remorse.
You are just lucky because you're well represented by your selling agents, but in fairness of all, please check your building for integrity, have it painted, clean your surroundings before you accept customers.
