I booked this hotel knowing it was a budget option, so I kept my expectations realistic. I fully understand the \"you get what you pay for\" mentality when traveling. However, basic hygiene shouldn't be a luxury add-on, and unfortunately, this stay completely missed the mark.
The primary issue was the severe ant problem. There were ants absolutely everywhere. I’m not talking about a stray bug here and there; I mean lines of them marching across the bathroom floor, swarming the nightstand, and making themselves right at home in the sleeping area. It felt less like a hotel room and more like an active infestation.
While the nightly rate might look appealing on paper, it is still incredibly overpriced for what you actually receive. Yes, it's a \"cheap\" hotel, but paying any amount of money to share your personal space with hundreds of ants is a bad deal. I essentially paid a premium to sleep in a bug exhibit.
Unless you are a passionate entomologist looking to study ant colonies up close, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. It is absolutely worth spending a little extra money to stay in a clean room. The \"savings\" here just aren't worth the headache.

The first thing when we checked into our rooms the TV’s didn’t work , then we called down to the front desk , they came up with a streaming box to use on the TV, also then there was no wifi in the hotel at all . Then we go to get ready to go out for the evening and no face cloths in either room . So well then , we decided to go on out and when we got back we would address the the no face cloths issues , Both rooms we booked had none , and they said they didn’t have any because the washer was broken and housekeeping was gone for the day .They would not have any to supply us with until the next morning and not until 9:30 am , we had plans to be gone before that so they managed to gather up some extra hand towels for us to use as face cloths .The hairdryers were then but for decor only because they did not work either . There was no drinking glasses in the rooms , only mugs The carpets were very faded and old . The bed was comfortable and that is probably the only positive I can give to this Inn

They charged a 4 times the room rate on the deposit! Then they charged for parking with out telling me at all by taking it out of the deposit. The room was spread rampant with mold and caused my allergies to go absolutely buzzerk. The ceiling had so many moisture marks from the mold. There were tons and tons of spider webs above the bed. There was a used contact on the the floor next to the bed. But mostly I'm upset because they did not tell you that they charge for parking, but then charge it through the 200 dollars they charge for a deposit. There needs to be a warning before booking here that they charge you 4 times the amount of a nights stay with a deposit and then they start charging for things WITHOUGHT NOTIFING YOU!!!

Went last Sat May30,2026: We chose this hotel because the building shown on the website looked nice, but the reality was completely different. They placed us in a separate building at the back. We could not get a refund because the booking was non-refundable. Our night was terrible; my son could not sleep well due to the noise from the outdated air conditioning.

J'ai obtenue un très bon prix durant la semaine. J'ai voulu prolongé d'une journée et le prix d'une nuitée à tripler de prix.

À la fin de mon séjour, j'ai eu droit à la surprise d'une charge de stationnement de 20$ par jour. À mon arrivée, personne ne m'a indiqué qu'il y avait un frais de stationnement.

Finalement, j'ai eu la surprise de voir mes muffins dévorés par une colonie de fourmis.

Donc, je recommande cette établissement uniquement si le tarif est très bas et si nos exigences ne sont pas trop élevées.

The staff was on their phone more than they were actually working. The staff was told the ice machine was not working and instead of going to go look I found out someone in the room next to it had turned it off and the staff took no initiative to go look so I did and fixed it. No rooms had fridges or hair dryers. We were advised a fridge would cost 10.00 and that parking was 30 when on our booking it said 20. There are many hotels do not stay at this one. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and we watched the cleaning staff enter a room near by and they were in and out in under 10 minutes and only had the pillow cases no sheets or towels.

This has a good location, you can walk from here to the falls. Plenty of parking space available. We had our rooms on the old side of the hotel, which is a time machine to 1970's. The room is dated but I found it clean, except the back of the TV. The hot water needs to be left running for 5 minutes before you can feel the hot water. Beds are OK, they are clean. We did not use the shower since its an overnight stay.

The overall appearance of the said establishment was very poor! The building was dark, not inviting at all. Some of the staff were not very knowledgeable in the establishment policies. The rooms were in need of major upgrading as there were loose outlets, the taps for the sinks and shower needed adjustments and were not in proper working condition.

Nice staff, fast check in. Very price and location. Walking distance to Niaraga Falls. But the room only come with one thick soft large towel, and two medium thin hard towels. And just come with small travel pack of shampoo and a soap. And the bed sheets not a soft one. A bit hard. But everything not bad. They also allow car park until next day 3pm. Will stay again

This hotel is HORRIBLE, should be shut down. Has obviously not be maintained in years. Buckets in hallways for leaky roofs, staples holding wallpaper to the wall, bathtubs cracked, rooma reek of smoke. Recognize its a cheaper hotel but there should still be minimun standards. Wouldn't even pay $5 to stay here again.

The room was good, but the room could have been updated a little better. Some of the wallpaper was peeling from the wall, the tv didn’t work at all, and the toilet paper holder in the bathroom was showing signs of rust on it. Also, carpeting could use replacing, some spots were lifting up in areas. Other than that, it was clean for what is being worked with. Nice hotel though for our first time staying there.

Stayed in room 235, tv didn’t work. I can live without that, but still sucks. Had zero hand soap for the room. Was told to use shampoo or go buy my own. Not fun to be working all day and then have to go out to buy basic amenities for the room. We had 6 different bookings this weekend for an event next door and multiple small businesses staying there. They all said it was a big disappointment and we will be looking for other accommodations when back in the spring and winter next year for our events :(

Great location for the music festival we attended, it was literally next door! Walking distance to a bunch of restaurants nearby. Neighbourhood seemed clean and safe. Front desk staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean..white linens, old colourful carpet, not a great pillow but overall good option to sleep!

Side note re: the area and for any late night munchies you may have..we couldn't for the life of us find a snack vending machine or a convenient store closeby so we ended up at Embassy suites which charges $6.30 for a twix bar and the starbucks in there charges $2-3 more per item, so stay clear of that hotel unless you like paying that kind of $!!

On 8/16/25, I drove 10 hours from Connecticut to Niagara Falls, Ontario, to be with my family for a medical emergency. I needed to get to the hospital ASAP.
After leaving the hospital, I checked into your hotel for a one-night stay, and, exhausted, went to bed immediately.
In the morning, while rushing to get back to the hospital, I discovered there was no hot water. When I called the front desk, I was told the water system had broken the day before, and a repairman had been called. The staff member's comment, \"You know those guys, they never tell you when they're coming to fix things,\" was unhelpful and unprofessional.
I was extremely upset that I was not informed of this issue at check-in. While I understand that things can break, it's unacceptable that I wasn't given the opportunity to make an informed decision about whether to stay at your hotel.
The lack of hot water was a significant problem, especially given my long journey. There were also other issues that made my stay uncomfortable: a large stain on the floor and a broken radiator that made the room uncomfortably hot and forced me to use the air conditioner to regulate the temperature
These reasons, particularly the lack of hot water, greatly detracted from my stay.
