For the area, I feel like this was the best choice if you wanted to be close to the state park. We did not feel comfortable walking anywhere at night in that area but there were plenty of places to order from. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly. The hotel is older so it could definitely use a few touch ups but overall, we had a good stay. Parking was close by & the location is easy to get in and out of.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The room had a strong cigarette smell, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. When I woke up in the morning, I felt sick and had a headache. The bathroom was extremely small and uncomfortable to use. Considering the condition of the room and the lack of comfort, the price was far too expensive and not worth the money.

Room was clean. Good amount of toiletries in the bathroom. Staff was nice. Nice pool. Great location near attractions. No continental breakfast. Wish there were lower weights in the fitness area and a bench. Toliet made noise all night and the pressure was very low...needed two flushes for a \"number 1\". Hallway trash wasn't changed in at least three days.

I stayed for 2 nights at this hotel , and the AC was broken for the 2 nights I complained to the manager who said he is going to issue a refund for me , but he said I have to contact expeddia , I contacted expedia who contacted the hotel and found that the reservation was done by pay at the hotel so the refund should come from the hotel, i tried calling the hotel and i got transferred from an AI agent to another AI agent who did not understand what i want eventually after 20 minutes of calling i just gave up so it seems there is no way to reach a human at this hotel and thei AI agent is not trained very well

The front desk do not have update from maintenance and they asked me to go and check my my room whether maintenance team came by or not.

Swimming pool under maintenance and they asked us to go to their sister hotel - doubletree to use swimming pool :).. pathetic

This is to complain about one of your front desk people. The young lady had such a thick Spanish accent that I constantly had to ask her to repeat herself. I asked her three times about breakfast and she said all we had to do was present our room key to the Anchor Bar waiter. When we got to breakfast the next morning, and after we had ordered, we were told we would have to pay because we didn't have the little card we were supposed to have gotten when we checked in. I then went back to the front desk and one of the other staff gave me the correct card. By the time I got back to breakfast my meal was cold.

The room was clean and the set up was nice. There were things fixed in the room that wasn’t properly fixed. The hole in the bathroom door was fixed but not properly fixed because you could see where the hole. They patched it but it wasn’t blended with the door. They painted the window ceil and left paint blue tape and dripping of paint on the heater.

Location was very convenient to Niagera Falls State Park and other area attractions.
Staff helpful and the Anchor Bar attached to the hotel was nice to go to for drinks and bar food. The open pool in the hotel contributed to high humidity especially in the first floor room we were assigned which was very close to the pool. Room had a constant clammy feel. Housekeeping services very minimal. During our 4 nights stay, we only received towels and emptying of trash. We requested fresh sheets but we were informed sheet changes are only done at checkout. The bathroom in our room also needed attention as toilet wouldnt shut off and leaked continually. The shower drained so slow that the water level would be high in the tub before one finished with even a reasonably short shower.

This hotel was extremely dirty. For over $200 per night, I did not expect this level of filth. We were excited to use the pool, but the water and pool area were both clearly dirty, so we decided against it. Our room was in need of a serious deep clean. It smelled strongly of tobacco, the shower was covered in grime and hair, and there were dead insects on the air conditioner and windowsill. The only positive was the view from the room and proximity to the state park. Also - be prepared to pay an additional surprise \"hotel fee\" and parking fee upon check in.

The air condition was filled with dust and lint on the vents. On the bathroom door was some kind of oil stain trail. On the shower heads, the nozzles were really dirty. The paint peeled off on the tub in a few different places. The room separation door was really outdated. We could hear clearly from the next door. The only updates done to the room were the bathroom mirror and the bed’s head boards. The view was close to the Niagra Falls. Other than that, it was filthy.
