Check-in was quick, which was appreciated. The kitchenette in the room was helpful, but the hotel’s distance from restaurants and the Falls meant we had to rely on driving. Parking was quite expensive, especially since we then had to pay again whenever we went closer to Clifton Hill.
There was no hot breakfast the first morning due to a blackout the night before, which is understandable, but calls to reception went unanswered. The pool area was chaotic, with children diving and jumping in, which felt unsafe. Our room was not serviced during the stay and supplies were not refilled; we had to request extra sugar and were told it would be sent up, but it never arrived. Breakfast on the last day was good.
The property is relatively new, but overall it felt quite understaffed during our visit.
