The hotel is perfectly positioned for moving about Florence. It was nicely renovated, well maintained and clean. The staff was cheerfully attentive and helpful. When we return, not if, the Floren will be our hotel. Cheers to the staff!

The welcome from Frederico on checking in, Pedro for my husband’s birthday and Freddie providing my husband with an espresso at 6AM before we left on our day trip. These are the wonderful experiences from Floren that really stood out for us. The hotel is clean, central and just so lovely!

The lobby had a strange odor that seemed to be covered with a strong fragrance, which was sometimes uncomfortable. Occasionally, the same mix of odors was noticeable in the hallways and even in the room. The room itself was fine, though it stayed a bit too warm. The staff was friendly and did their best to assist, which helped make the stay easier overall.

The cafe part of the hotel was lovely, the gelato donut and breakfast pastries were just amazing. Ana made a delicious espresso and delivered warm smiles. Very convenient, will definitely be back. I will be back! The Floren Hotel will be part of all future travel. Love Tola

The room was clean, we did not appreciate having to complete a survey within half an hour of getting into the room so we could use the wifi, seemed a bit extortionate and annoyed us.
We were not entirely happy to have a smart phone/device owned by the hotel in our room we wondered about our privacy

I was expecting a good hotel but the service, attention to detail, staff availability, breakfast, just everything blew me away! This is a true gem of a small boutique luxury hotel. The location is perfect and I think this will be my go to place every time I return to Florence! Just a fabulous new discovery that will remain my now not so hidden gem! The Floren Luxury Hotel was even better than we hoped! Staff went far beyond expectations in every way to meet expectations. Rooms were cleaned and towels refreshed regularly—we’d take the whole rainfall shower home if we could! Our international flight was cancelled to return home and they were very accommodating in booking us into the same room for an extra night. Great hotel and staff! Location is great and close to the train station - 5 minute walk. The daily breakfast menu + buffet that is included within your day was one of the best I've ever had. The cappuccino included with breakfast was also exceptional. We also had dinner one night at the hotel restaurant Osmo Cucina and it was excellent - we did the Chef 5 course meal. The food and service, was Michelin Star worthy and the Chef Marco even came out at the end to talk to us and ensure we enjoyed the meal. Without a doubt, on our next visit to Florence, we will stay again at the Floren Hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Floren Hotel, Florence. Great location, close to railway station, restaurants, shops. 5 mins walk to Duomo. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast selection was excellent with a choice of continental or cooked to order. Bedroom was clean and good size, with nice bed linen, coffee machine & kettle, efficient air con. Bathroom was great with large walk in shower. Overall we had a great time and would stay at this hotel again

This hotel is exceptional, from its location to the amenities of the room to the stellar service. I was impressed. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was spacious with great products. Lovely Boutique Hotel in Prime Location

We loved this hotel! So close to train station (walkable with lots of luggage), Dumomo, great restaurants and shopping. Room was immaculate and beautiful - thrilled to have the only balcony in the building! Spacious bathroom with a great shower and toiletries/ towels. The reception was very responsive even before we arrived and gave us a lot of good tips/ support during our stay. Delicious breakfast buffet included and the staff were always friendly. We plan to return !

While the initial impression of this Florence hotel was positive, with evident cleanliness and recent renovations, the overall experience fell significantly short of its advertised 5-star rating. The location is undeniably excellent, and the hotel itself is visually appealing. However, the disparity between expectations and reality became clear quickly.

The breakfast, though palatable, lacked the variety and refinement expected of a 5-star establishment. Similarly, while the staff were friendly, their service lacked the polished professionalism and attentiveness that defines true luxury hospitality. In my opinion, this hotel comfortably sits within the 3 to 4-star range, but is nowhere near a 5-star experience.

Ultimately, the price point does not align with the delivered quality. For the cost, I would strongly advise exploring alternative accommodations in Florence that offer a more authentic 5-star experience.

I don’t know how this hotel got five star rating. We were very disappointed when we walked in to the hotel to see a small entrance hall/lounge with a sofa outside the toilets, to the left of that in a corner was a desk and that was the reception. The staff were very helpful, the room was comfortable I booked it because the five star rating but the whole entrance and reception doesn’t feel a five star hotel.

The hotel is a five minute walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the Duomo. 10 minutes from the river. Excellent for a girls trip. The hotel location and amenities made the trip easy. Staff are very helpful for getting your bearings. Basic laundry is a little expensive if you are trying to stick to one carryon and hope to do some shopping.

The staff was courteous and provided maps & day trip recommendations.
This hotel is in a great location as well -- easy walking distance from the Duomo and train station; Also it's been recently renovated and has a chic modern feel.
Breakfast was also one of the highlights: the buffet included with the room which was very delicious.

However, they only provided one small pint of water in the room each day for our family of three; when we requested for more water once the existing pint got finished, they charged €10 for \"room service\" for bringing the bottles up to our room and charged €6 per bottle on top of it.

The hotel is very clean although the room is a bit small. The best part of our stay is the service that is unbelievably good. The breakfast buffet was the best we ever had. The hotel is well-located, and I believe that it's a newer establishment. While the room and bathroom were clean, the hallways weren't very clean. The room temperature wa way too hot (& it wouldn't adjust) and the bed was uncomfortable; however, the bathroom was great with a big shower with strong water pressure. The experience that left a negative impression was the front desk trying to force us to take a \"private car\" to/from the airport to retrieve lost luggage for 90 Euros when a one-way taxi from the airport was available at a fixed 28 Euro rate.

Absolutely great property close to the train station. Totally new when we stayed there!!! Whole city is walkable so don’t get an Uber from train station like I did. It’s a five min walk to this great hotel!!! It was the nicest hotel we stayed in and had a decent size elevator and the breakfast was awesome!!
