The hotel was wonderful. It was clean. In the center of town. Staff were always happy to help. Great suggestions on where to eat. I emailed them before I arrived. We drove to the hotel and they had the parking garage pick up our car. It was very handy. You needed about 1/2 hour for them to get the car from the garage. Their breakfast was marvelous and plenty full. The rooms were nice. But their windows were high off the ground. The ac was good. The tub is slippery and its edge is high. There are elevators but they are small. I would go back there the next time in Florence.

Perfect location. Less than 10 min walk from train station. 3 min walk to Duomo. Near upscale shopping and plenty of cafes to eat and drink at are nearby. Only negative is the street smelled a bit but I don’t think that’s the hotels fault.

The hotel is in a great location. You can walk from the train station and everywhere else in town. The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that even though the hotel is very clean, it has a weird smell in the lobby. I wasn’t able to eat breakfast (which was included) because of the smell.

The location can’t be better. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly, the breakfast is very limited. But the sewage smell in the lobby is very bad, even our room on the first floor, above the lobby, had that terrible smell.
Also, first floor rooms looked at the wall. If they will fix the smell it would be very good stay.

Quiet climate control cleanliness service from all departments and room and common area and guestroom design and furnishings are highly praise worthy. Elevators are quite small but run quickly enough. Beds and are bedding adequate but not outstanding in a way reflective of the other elements. Phenomenal bathroom and shower. Great breakfasts. Limited television channels with no English language stations or French.

The hotel was in a great location. The lobby had a horrible smell, it hit you the second you went through the doors. Elevator was extremely slow and quiet small so you often had to wait. Rooms were average in size and housekeeping came daily but I wouldn’t say they did anything besides making beds and changing towels.

A Great Gem of a Hotel! (And the AC is Amazing)

Fantastic stay! The aircon was blasting when we arrived which is very rare in Italy. The room was just perfect in size, and the location is down the street from everything you’d want to (must) see in Florence. From the bathroom to the nice firm bed and pillow options, just a great value. Plus, this hotel is also down the street from the train station. I cannot recommend this enough. And yes, I’ve stayed at the St. Regis, the Westin Excelsior and even the Lugarno.

The location for this hotel could not be better. It is located on the edge of the city center and not far from the train and tram station. Our room was clean and quiet. The shower had good water pressure which can be an issue in some hotels around Italy. Breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. The one draw back was that the lobby and hallways smelled bad. There were some heavy rains so that might have attributed to the sewer smell in the common areas but it was very overwhelming when we first arrived and although it got better it never completely went away. Luckily our room did not smell. We would stay there again.

Location was really convenient as it was within walking distance of basically every tourist destination. The breakfast was wonderful. Remember to bring an adapter to charge your devices if you’re from outside Europe; the hotel doesn’t have any. Also, there’s no need to take a taxi from the SM Novella train station as it’s only a 10 minute walk to the hotel.

We were fortunate to stay in the suite that offered 2 separate rooms and 2 bathrooms, which is always a bonus! The room was immaculate and spacious. The location was perfect. Central and in the heart of Florence, walkable to the best restaurants, Duomo, shopping, train station, and leather markets. The free breakfast every morning was top notch offering a huge variety of hot and cold choices. They even had a juicer to make your own! I would highly recommend Cerretani if you are lucky enough to visit Florence. The staff was exceptional!

Luxury Near the Duomo

This hotel is remarkable. It’s luxurious and perfectly located - if you walk out the door, take 4 steps, and turn left, you can see the Duomo. You can quickly get to the bustling, busy area of Florence if you head towards the Duomo, but you can also head south and west and find great restaurants that aren’t festooned with tourists. I stayed here in one of their smaller rooms (it was just me). The bed was incredibly comfortable, the products in the room are very nice, there was no noise, and the staff were professional, courteous, and helpful. Also, it’s beautiful inside.

Pros - very close to the center, literally just around the corner from the Cathedral. Good amenities in the room. Pleasant staff who were very helpful.
Cons - the smell in lobby was so overpowering it was almost like there was a drain problem. I was quite glad I didn’t add breakfast to my booking as we would not have been able to sit downstairs and eat with that smell. We dreaded passing through the ground floor area.
The pillows were a bit flat, luckily there was one bigger one in the cupboard that me and my partner fought over. We were just there a couple of nights so made do, but any longer I would have needed to request another pillow. Lastly the shower in our room spat out drizzles of water so we had so use the hand held shower option. Not the end of the world but the shower head needs to be looked at - probably a good descale.

My family and I reserved 5 rooms for 3 nights at the Hotel Cerretani Mgallery hotel.

The front staff during the day was excellent, polite and cordial. They remember your face from coming in and out.

The beds and comforters were comfortable.

The location was super close the to the Central Market, close to Duomo and the train station. Convenient! When I visit Florence I will stay here again.

Small but clean room with a comfortable bed. Perfect location close to both station and duomo. I would like to recommend this hotel to all tourists unless you do need internet access in the room. They have complimentary Wi-Fi however the signal was very unstable and even TIM signal was lost.
Breakfast was also good with sufficient selection.

Fantastic stay. My first time in Florence. Great location - walkable to train station, convenient to sites, safe. Quaint, boutique hotel. Bed exceptionally comfortable and amenities were 5 star. Breakfast buffet was superb and nice to have so fast before we left for the day. I would stay here again! I rarely give 5 stars because nothing is perfect. I found the floors not to be dusty when I arrived but my second day they were great. In fairness, I did not complain to remedy because I was too exhausted on arrival to really care :)
