Cheap and cheerful, good value near Disney

Cheap and cheerful accommodation near to Disneyland Paris. We saved so much money by staying not at a Disney hotel. It was a 15 minute walk to the station and then 2 stops to Disney. My only gripe was as someone who had no car and was walking, you had to walk quite a long way round to the gate, there should be a front entrance.

Room was clean, used it for a short trip to Disney for 2 days when in France for 2 weeks. Just round the corner from Disney so works great!
Super market and McDonalds by it though that was awful and not go back to the McDonald’s there again.

This hotel does what it says, its a B&B. Our room was clean, tidy and what we needed for our trip. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was we didn't have a code to get in when we arrived and (not the hotels fault) no breakfast for people with allergies. If you are looking for a base then I think this hotel is a good place to stay 2 train stops away from Disney and 1 from val de Europe.

Property was a bit old and run down. I've marked it 2 because the floors were dirty in the room, there's no lock on the bathroom door. The chain latch on the window was broken so if anyone walks along the balcony from other rooms they could have just came in. Also the A/C was in operative. Travelling as a small family with a baby, you'd think they would not put us in between a massive family taking up 2 or 3 rooms around us. 2 stars.

Easy hotel for DLP

Used the hotel here for a trip to DLP. It’s comfortable enough and a very easy drive to Disneyland with big enough rooms for large families.

The only downside is lack of air conditioning which was advertised on the booking site but while the units are in the room they are not on. If you must have aircon do not book this hotel.

I wasn’t expecting the hotel to be as nice as it was so low cost. I was so wrong. Lovely hotel, reception staff really nice and very thorough on arrival. The rooms are compact but they were clean and had everything that we needed for a base. Breakfast was fine, some fruit would have been lovely but other than that it was grand.

The property was not a hotel more like a hostel! The lift made an awful noise when in use which we could hear going off all hours of the night as our room was right across from the lift. We were also on the 3rd floor which had no safety locks on the windows whatsoever and was very unsafe for our children. The room was not the cleanest on arrival and we had to make up 3 of the 4 beds in the room. Wouldn't stay here again if I was paid to!

Did not enjoy our stay in Marne La Valle branch in Bussy St Georges. The hotel is really old and needs renovation, the room is too small and smells weird. Disappointing breakfast. The train station near this hotel is also unsafe, there were teenagers beating each other and throwing gas bomb when we stopped one time to go to this hotel. We got so scared as those people were all over the place and felt as if they will follow us until the hotel. Totally unsafe place to stay. Avoid this area and book in a different branch if you want to stay in a budget hotel such as this.

I like the the location it was easy to commute to the city centre, the shops. The bed was too small and the soft mattress was a no no for a plus side. I developed body aches and pain. The staff were friendly but did not properly explained some information regarding the house keeping. Overall I will make recommendations to my friends.

Perfect base for a family going to Disney

Clean, tidy, simple and perfect for a visit to Disney! We only slept there, but came back daily to freshly made beds, and hoovered floors!

The only downside was not having teamaking facilities, but they did have a drinks and snacks available at the front desk.

We only stayed one night before making our way to Disneyland Paris. It was basic but clean and comfortable. The staff member who was on the reception when we arrived at night was very pleasant and helpful. The staff member in the morning did not know how to charge for a coffee and it was a bit confusing. I think he was new. I wouldn't mind staying here again for the night as a stop over hotel.

All in all pretty disappointing

All in all pretty disappointing- bed uncomfortable, staff continued talking to one another when approached desk at check-in, shower room pods (whole bathroom - sink, shower, toilet in small pod) pretty dangerous- slipped when entering - fortunately didn't hurt myself.

Beware there is a car parking charges too - to park in hotels own car park- 10 euros a day and has a ridiculous in and out system whereby only one car could enter of leave at a time.

Also building works going on in surrounding area, so overlooking building sites.

Definitely very basic. Oh and we found ourselves paying tolls on roads around.

Only positive really is that location near to Disneyland - 15 mins drive.

Location wise this place was amazing, it’s in a quiet area near markets, food and amazing bakeries. It’s close to Disney Paris, less than 20 minute train ride. Everything else is less than ideal, when we booked we were told we were getting a certain room and it changed upon arrival the new room while not normally a big deal had significantly less space. The front desk staff always seemed bothered by our requests for things like towels, because they weren’t replaced during house keeping. They provided no helpful suggestions on terms of local places to visit and again seemed annoyed we would ask them - furthermore all the response were no specific such as there’s more option in central Paris or there’s options near the metro terminal. The staff was incredibly rude when we tried to speak with them. All in all it was an awful experience. Based upon the response of the hotel I would like to add a few updates to this review, hotel staff at reception were asked for three separate recommendations during our stay, the first was regarding where we could find a good spot for breakfast, the receptionist seemed a bit confused and offered a shrug and replied near the bus station, when my friend travelling with us asked about what was fun to do in the area he again received a non detailed response and was told there’s more activities closer to the city (Paris). A review was posted to Google and the owner responded in a very rude manner.

One night stay before Disneyland

Our stay was for only one night, it was the perfect destination to arrive from driving from the Eurotunnel the day before we had our park access for Disneyland. Although we did have to pay for the car park which I didn’t mind the car park is very secure it would be good to know before hand to maybe book a space.

Our room was nice and spacious, only thing we had to watch was in the bathroom with the slight deep where the shower was from the sink could easily course you to go over on your ankle being there’s not much room to move.

If you are looking for a cheaper place just outside Disneyland before park access the next day it was super easy to get to only 10 minutes drive. Would recommend.

This was fine for a trip to Disney. The train station was 10 mins walk away with frequent trains. There was also a supermarket, bakery and McDonald’s nearby.
Reception were helpful.
I would stay again if I was to return to Disneyland. Perhaps a little too far ( 30 plus mins) for Paris but we did travel in and out with no problems.
Hotel basic with no kettle etc so really just somewhere to sleep before and after Disney.

Very Basic but did the job

We went as stopping point before going to stay in Disneyland. Arrived at around midnight and were instantly told by the receptionist to make sure our children were quiet and not to make too much noise.

This hotel was the cheapest we had found and to be honest we got what we paid for. Very basic, comfy beds but uncomfortable pillows (there was nothing to the pillows). The hotel was basically clean but the base boards and sealing around the bathroom was much to be desired, however we never felt uncomfortable with the cleanliness as we may be being picky about these things.

On our 2nd day we spent the day in Paris and when we returned to the hotel we were going to make pot noodles/pasta pots for dinner instead of going out for dinner but there was no kettle, and when we requested some boiled water from reception they refused to give us any, so we ended up eating out for dinner. However the staff on the morning were very polite and were sweet, interacting with our children who were dressed up in their costumes for Disney!

We did however feel secure with the gate at the front and you had to use keycards to get upstairs.

Other than that the stay way average but would recommend as a cheap overnighter for those on a budget!

People inconsiderate coming in and out of rooms late at night and early morning, talking and banging doors.
No consideration to sleeping guests
If room is by road you can hear traffic.
We used white sounds on phone to drown out the noise
Note you have to pay room tax and parking . We were 2 adults and 2 children
So out £55 a room actually cost £71
I had read about taxes but our invoice from Expedia said taxes included so was surprised to be charged more on arrival.

Upon checking in all good. We were given a room and starchy away found a bug on the bed. Asked to move rooms - which they did no problem. However the second room was full and I mean FULL of little midfielders flies. They were all in the bathroom and ceiling of our room and literally crawling over everywhere..... the room smelt really \"foysty\"

Moved to ANOTHER ROOM and that was fine....

Staff on reception were really helpful and never hesitated in moving us rooms... the rooms them selves were clean but the second tommorow smelt like it needed a deep clean as an underlying issue clearly.

Gate barrier very hit and miss

I have stayed many times here and it's basic rooms but all you need as a base for dlp. Train station is a 10/15 min max walk away which goes straight to Disney in round 10 mins. Or the road if driving is near the hotel and the car journey takes about 10 mins.

Reception has had a makeover and looks really nice now.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very small. The mattresses were on the thinner side. The bathroom was very small and the shower was small too. The floor was plastic and reminded me of a trailer bathrooms. However it is about a 20 minute drive to Disneyland! There is a code needed for the entry gate so it is a safe property. We had loud neighbors in the hallways though throughout the night which made sleeping difficult. I would recommend if you're there for sleeping like we were or need somewhere close the parks that won't break your budget. The breakfast looked good but we did not try it.

My review wouldn’t be so bad but I paid $119 to stay here and for that price, what this hotel is was a rip off. The room I booked for 3 adults was very very small which isn’t super uncommon in Europe but the faults only begin there…the hotel stenches of cigarette smoke as soon as you walk into the lobby, the bathroom could hardly fit one person and was made entirely of plastic (yes even the floor) like what would be in a crappy camper van, their was hair on the floor, the bunk bed was let unmade, just a mattress, the shower is so small I could barely fit as a short and skinny person…anyone bigger than me would have a VERY hard time even moving in there. Lastly, housekeeping ENTERED our room TWICE while we were still sleeping HOURS before checkout time.

I booked this hotel because it was close to Disney and slept 3 people…however, aside from the employee at reception, this hotel is 1 star at best. Don’t stay here unless you pay $20, anything more is a scam.

A lot of persons check-in on night time,some children and elderly rest on the lobby, but they not switch on the light, and I saw one elder lady kicked by the sofa , luckily she not fell down, this can increase the Eco rate?
And first night the room not have any washing liquid,and I told the front desk,they said will refill but no show,next day morning I asked the house keeper,and she said will refill later, but I stay total three nights, still not refill any , is this can increase the Eco rate?
The room size was very very small, can't open the luggage.
Never stay again.

We stayed here before and after our visit to Disneyland Paris. The location of this hotel is fantastic! The 10 minutes drive from Disney allowed us to make the most of our park days. We also stayed here an extra day, taking the RER into Paris at €5 per person. The train station is only a 10 minute walk away.
The hotel itself is basic as expected for 2* and the beds were ‘ok’. We have only knocked a star off for how noisy it can be at times. Our first stay, people around us were crashing doors and we could hear people partying from our room, keeping us awake. However, on the second stay, we were on the top floor and hardly heard any noise.
Overall, a clean, well located hotel, perfect for a short stay or as a base if you’re not going to spend much time in your room.

Having been to Disneyland Paris on quite a few occasions, we decided this time to go cheap and cheerful! We didn't have high expectations but wasn't really fussed as we were going to be spending all day in the park. I have to say we were extremely pleasantly surprised! The hotel is conveniently located for the metro 2 stops in to Disney. It was lovely, clean and warm. This will now be our new place to stay at Disney. Breakfast a little overpriced. My 15 year old would only eat one bowl of cereal and that cost nearly 9 euros!

This was absolutely excellent - I had a super time here. The mattress and pillows were really comfortable so I slept great, the window opened wide for fresh air, the shower was great and the breakfast, though not exactly low glycemic index, was delicious. Also the coffee was good and there was a cold water machine to fill up your bottles before your day at Disney or in Paris. The lobby and breakfast area were a nice environment. The local area was modern but very clean and full of useful shops. Incredible value for money. Recommended.

Not what I expected, room was so small. You could fit 2 of these rooms into what I consider a “normal” size hotel room. Breakfast bar was maybe 10 items, and 6 were empty. Disappointed in almost every aspect.

Good Budget Hotel

Basic but rooms are clean and in good condition. Ideal to use as a base for visiting Disneyland by car. Only 4 miles and under 10 minutes to drive to Disneyland.

The property was a short distance away from station, grocery store and McDonalds which was great, However as the room was by the lift, We were woken up several times by noises and voices of other hotel guests

Good Budget Hotel

The room was clean and tidy. The decor was nice and fresh. The rooms are on the smaller side but that is to be expected with a budget hotel. The issues we had were with the bathroom door handle lock having been replaced with a loose non locking handle and that there was no air conditioning working in the whole hotel. I don’t know whether this is a cost/fuel saving thing, however on a warm evening the alternative is to open the window but the traffic is loud as the hotel is right by the A4 motorway. Hotel is in good location to access Disney Parcs by car.

Disappointing

Expensive for what it was. Very small room for a family of 4. Not much welcome from reception staff. Room not very clean. Very noisy with thin walls. Stayed to be close to Disney, wound not stay again.

Room was damn small as a family room sleeping 5. AC was mostly non existent, essentially blowing unconditioned air with no ability to cool even at the lowest setting with fan high. Had to turn off all the lights and open the window to try to empty the hot and humid room air. Bathroom was a weird construction trailer modular built-in, again without decent venting and the shower head did not stay up. Had to rig a couple strategic loops of the hose to force it to stay in place. Luckily this was only a 1 night stay prior to Disney Hotel booking so the suffering was short lived. This might be good just for that, but I wouldnt book longer stays here.
