Alicia (the blonde haired lady on reception - hoping i’ve remembered your name correctly!) was absolutely incredible with looking after us. The food was delicious with a very generous breakfast spread, the spa was clean and tidy. The room was so comfortable and tidy, lovely bed!!

Check in: 4 reception counters. 1st counter had a sign for restaurant and spa. The other 3 were normal reception. One receptionist was occupied with a client the other 2 heads down into their screens and did not look up. The receptionist on spa, was looking over and trying to draw their attention that they had clients. Eventually the receptionist on the middle counter looked up and beckoned us over. She was not warm, matter of fact and started to walk away whilst telling us the end part of check in. I had to call her back over as I had a question. Never got information on the spa or any services. The other receptionist on the end did not look up, not even once. No smiles, just acted as if we were bothering them.
There was hair all over one of the cushions in the bedroom. Other wise the rooms were clean. No slippers in the room, and had to use our own phones to ring reception.

Stayed on the 4th floor and was told that the phones on the entire 4th floor hadn't worked in at least 2 months. What? This is supposed to be a 5 start hotel. I was told that children could swim at designated hours. I waited for those hours and was then told that my children were bothering other guests and they couldn't swim. The breakfast was awful. I even gave it a second try. Still not good. Thermostat didn't function properly so the room was either way too hot or too cold. Also, the key cards never worked. This was my 2nd stay here, but probably my last.

Would have give 5 * overall but it didn't seem possible to cool the room lower the 19 degrees stated on the aircon although the room was considerably warmer than that. It was too warm to sleep under the beautiful duvet on the exceptionally comfortable bed. As a result I struggled to sleep - too hot all night in autumn in UK!

The hotel is very nice although I felt the cost per room was slightly high. The room was well presented and very clean, a few marks on the carpet but otherwise excellent. I would caution travellers opting for level 5 as you are directly below the bar/restaurant and you are woken early by chairs and tables being moved/dragged across the floor.

We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise. Everything about this hotel (location, food, room, area, staff) was great with one glaring exception (which we reported). The hostess in the 6th floor restaurant was rude on multiple occasions. She did not fit in with the rest of the lovely staff. We reported this (several people in our party noticed her attitude on multiple occasions)

Wow! So happy we booked to stay for two nights before our cruise. A wonderful experience, good restaurants and two minutes from other great restaurants/pub style! Walked from the hotel to the mall, explored an old church and throughly enjoyed our time.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and comfortable. Both restaurants were good but The Jetty is best for choice and special occasions. Aircon in Jetty bar area was a bit fierce. Rooms very clean and comfortable and always seemed to be a staff member in the corridor if needed. Rooms pretty quiet too. Overall a lovely place to stay and we’d return.

We stayed on a Sunday night having been on a Sea Seekers charter during the day. The hotel had their own parking, allowed us to leave our luggage in the morning & we finally checked in around 7pm & our luggage was in our room. The room (331) was lovely, nice views over the harbour & was spotless, very comfy & well equipped. We had dinner in the Jetty restaurant & the food & service was excellent. Overall a great stay.

From the fabulous staff at check in, to the gorgeous comforts of my cozy double this hotel really is quite special. If it is first class hospitality and modern yet warm luxury you are looking for then this is for you. There is even complementary gin in the room ( shame I was on business) I didn’t make it up to the roof top bar- but hear it’s amazing- but I did sit out on my beautiful balcony over looking the yachts. To finish it off the gym is pretty impressive for a hotel gym !

We have stayed at this hotel many times, probably over a dozen, using it as our pre-and post-cruise hotel. Until now, the service has always been excellent. Unfortunately, during our most recent stay, we had a very disappointing experience with the new manager. She was tall and wearing a black vest, though I was unable to get her name.
When we asked if she could check the status of our room, she dismissively replied that check-in was not until 3 pm, without even checking the system. Her tone was condescending and her behavior toward my wife came across as discriminatory and unprofessional. This was very upsetting and unlike any experience we’ve had at this hotel in the past.

The hotel is good: the room and bed comfortably (although the bathtub at the foot of the bed was a silly idea!) appreciated the complementary gin! Silliest light switches ever - had to call reception for instructions on how to switch off the lights! No easy way to contact reception - had to use my mobile to call central switchboard, then press 0.

The staff was incredibly helpful from beginning to end. Forgot to bring my adapters for US to UK, they loaned me one to recharge my phone etc for my stay. We arrived a few hours prior to check in time and were allowed to rest in spa area. We were provided free shuttle to cruise terminal. Our accommodation was excellent. Would stay again.
