Lovely hotel, room was very clean (although not as advertised on Hotels.com so maybe check on the hotel site before booking).
Food was decent, nothing particularly fancy. Breakfast was ok.
It’s a stunning venue so very popular for weddings… the bass from wedding receptions reverberated though the room until midnight ish. Our room also backed on to an office, which was incredibly busy as the door banged shut almost constantly one day.

Room was very good staff were efficient and friendly enough.The food in both restaurants was the usual standard fare very overpriced for plates of food with chunky chips and bowls of peas. Dog friendly means the chance of a pampered pooch yapping in the bedroom next door whilst trying to go to sleep.The hotel is fine as hotels go but we left a bit underwhelmed with our experience.Wont be booking a hotel on Expedia again that allows dogs to stay.Very good breakfast selection though.

Standard of room was sub-par. Blinds didn’t close fully, dust on lamps, coffee splashes, cleaning fluid, cups and teaspoons not clean, mark in toilet bowl, soap dish and pedal bin not cleaned properly.
All minor housekeeping issues and not serious enough for me to want to move rooms.

Shame as it’s actually a fairly nice hotel, decor is a bit chintzy, trying so hard it’s actually a little tacky

Most of the staff were great but let down but a sulky moody and unhelpful receptionist on check in who didn’t seem to really care that they had made a mistake with the booking just shrugged her shoulders and said “what you booked isn’t available now so you will just have to make do with what we have” no apologies just take it or leave it attitude

Room was grubby, we had to move furniture to accommodate family and it was filthy behind / under with debris from previous guests food etc

Swimming pool area also grubby and dated

First impression set the tone so we only ate breakfast at hotel

All food was delicious and beautifully presented. Breakfast and evening meal at the palm court.
The hotel was very luxurious and beautiful decor. We like bed celebrating our friends 60th birthday there and will definitely be back.

Our expectations were by far exceeded with this lovely hotel. All the staff that we came across was helpful, friendly and so efficient. We spent the afternoon on Saturday in the Nelson and enjoyed a delicious lunch. The receptionist was welcoming and warm and very helpful with queries and organising a little suprise in our room. The room was clean, well equipped and very nicely presented. The bed was bit on the hard side but this is probably down to personal preference more than anything else. We had a meal in the palm court which was so beautiful and felt very special with the pianist playing and singing.
The pool and changing rooms could do with a bit of updating but it was clean and warm so would happily use again.
On the whole this place is an absolute gem where you are made to feel special, would happily stay again.

Great food at breakfast with a good choice. Excellent meal and reasonably priced at Nelson’s with very attentive staff. Rooms very clean, lovely bathroom products available and well stocked tea/coffee tray with hot chocolate and shortbread biscuits. Spa area great, good sized pool. Hot tub, sauna and steam room. All staff were very pleasant from reception, spa and dining room staff. A brilliant stay.

Such a beautiful hotel and looks fabulous at Christmas. Rooms are very tastefully decorated, with all mod cons. Both Nelsons Bar and Palm Court are lovely to eat it, with the food being exceptional. Had a 1 night stay with a twilight spa for my sister's 40th, great first impressions and plenty of parking. Was stuck in traffic on the motorway due to an accident so we called ahead, reception put us on hold to the spa but they never picked up, we arrived 20 minutes late and the spa receptionist said there was nothing she could do, but a therapist who was sat with her and heard why we was late and how no one had answered our call, while standing with birthday cake and presents and overnight bags still as we hadnt had time to check in, offered to still give us our massages that were prebooked, and we really was grateful to her.
Our room was a family room, well presented and lovely decoration, and view overlooking the back of the hotel grounds which was really nice.
We had prebooked a table at Nelsons bar for my sisters birthday meal, they did leave a plate in our room with some fudge and a birthday message which was a a nice touch but a shame that when we arrived for our booking at 9pm the member of staff mentioned that id requested a booth, he pointed it out and said we could wait for it to be cleaned or have another table, so we waited, which is ok, it wasnt long but id booked and requested the booth for my sister's birthday meal in the week so to be asked if we still want it and if we do we will have to wait for it to be cleaned was a shame as the table was empty so could of been ready for our booking time, breakfast was great, reception staff friendly, will visit again.

Read the small print with this hotel. When they say they can't guarantee a quiet night, they should have said \"We guarantee you won't get a quiet night.\" Our first time away from the kids in many years, and we paid a lot for a nice time. The hotel should have warned us we would have two loud weddings (Friday and Saturday) going on until late, right underneath us (plus shouting in the corridors and trolleys rattling across the floor above us) giving us the chance to go somewhere else.

Beautiful and clean hotel that smelt amazing all the way through it! Staff was attentive and professional, spa was nice enough, bit small in my personal opinion and noisy up until late afternoon, too many people using it for the facilities provided and only 5 loungers to lie down on, evrryone was looking for loungers to sit down on and place their belongings on it, they had a dew hooks but not many. Jacuzzi was lovely as was the swimming pool (good size), sauna and sream room was amazing, the lesure facilities were a bit confusing as there was a sign to the spa but no sign to the swimming pool, it wasn't clear.
I had requsted a room with a nice view for celebration night away for my partners birthday and they kindly were able to grant this, lovely view of the garden and water fountain and they left a happy birthday card and chocolates for my partner, lovely, special gesture.
Room was lovely comfortable, with a tv, hair drier, kettle and complementry tea/ coffee/water etc, shower was sooo nice! Would of been nice to have a mini fridge to store a few of our cold drinks we brought though.

Over all, had a lovely relaxing stay and even though there was a wedding on couldn't hear any noise going on!

We would recommend this hotel if you are after a relaxing, special stay away or wanting to use the lesure facilities even tho it was a little small then what we have experianced in the past we would still stay here again despite the 7.5% tip added to oir meal automatically that we

We stayed with our dog - very late arrival and paid for late check out. It was nicer than we expected and the staff and services were all great. Very comfy bed. We had lunch the next day and the food (Chicken Caesar Salad especially!) was all lovely and the staff exceptional. Nice gardens. Loads of parking.

I’d been worried it wasn’t going to be as nice as the photos since their own website doesn’t work on Apple products, it seemed strange!

We were let down a little by the failure of the electric charger. We’d not been certain we’d get to charge there but when we found it available on arrival we were so pleased. We wasted 30min trying to get it working but finally gave up. The staff weren’t particularly interested, stating ‘it isn’t theirs’ but since they allow “EV Project” to be on their site I think they should take some responsibility or at least log/report issues. (Currently trying to get my ‘mandatory £30 deposit from that company.) So I’d recommend others not waste time trying to charge and do that elsewhere. (Billy Jeans if you’re heading into North Wales is a good option).

Beautiful stay at Grosvenor Pulford

Hotel is beautiful and the superior room was stunning, the decor, the bathroom is luxurious and the hotel made us a little Congratulations chocolate platter and card for our recent wedding which was a lovely touch. There was only one problem which was the heated towel rail in bathroom was so hot I burnt my arm, I did inform reception as needs to be attended. The spa is so lovely too, I had an Indian head massage which was very relaxing. All staff were lovely although I would say I would choose the Palm restaurant next time as Nelson’s was not as friendly and waited long time for food. Breakfast in the Palm was lovely.

Seen lots of good reviews of this Spa hotel and decided to stay one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The reason my rating was so low was because upon arrival, no one at the reception told us we were going to stay a room below someone getting married also a noisy large family partying until midnight. My husband went to see someone at the reception twice and eventually they kind of quiet down but it was horrible experience to us. Quite simple to hotel management team to not put wedding guests and regular guests together, not fair. Such shame, because the rest of the hotel was so nice, lovely garden, swimming pool, sauna room etc. but we are not going to return.

Why they put us a mum and 10 year old in a room
Above the wedding reception was beyond me! Weren’t that many rooms directly above function area and am sure plenty of guests at wedding were staying over!
Only one EV charger that one resident decided to use for about 24 hours and hotel did nothing to ask him to move!
Bit tired and not what expected so won’t return!
