The bed was lovely and comfortable, and I had one of the best nights' sleep I've ever had in a hotel.
The front-of-house staff were friendly, down-to-earth, and highly professional, with a genuine \"nothing is too much trouble\" attitude that made me feel very welcome.
My only minor niggle was that the shower gel dispenser was empty, but as I had my own with me, it wasn't an issue.
Overall, I had a great stay and will definitely be back. See you again soon!

Check in was quick and easy and the receptionist was very polite. The room itself was to a good standard. There were just a few things that let it down. A cleaning cloth was left in the room on the dress table. Some for the fixtures in the room still had a layer of dust on. It did feel like the cloth had been left as the cleaner was supposed to come back and dust but had forgotten. The toilet also leaked

Being going to chester for years and this is by far the best one..everything was excellent, had a little problem in the first morning, new chef so was advised to order from the breakfast menu instead.. Second day breakfast was amazing ( different chef ) … overall this will be the hotel where I will be staying.. Did get an email with upgrading but on arrival it wasn’t available.. Overall Brilliant

Lovely hotel. Only stayed for one night. But staff were very helpful. Hotel was very well kept and clean. Rooms were lovely and very modern.
Ate at the forge restaurant the night we stayed. Was lovely but I’d say it’s over priced for what it is. Breakfast was very nice in the morning and plenty of choice. Would stay again.

Lovely clean room, staff very friendly especially the chef at breakfast. Good choice of hot and cold breakfast options regularly topped up so everything is nice and fresh. 5 minute walk to tourist attractions, bars and restaurants however still in a quiet. Only tiny thing for me is that I like bread rolls and cheese slices with my breakfast and they only had sliced bread (brown and white) but that was a tiny point :)

Stayed in a standard king room which was very clean and comfortable with more than enough room for two staying for one night. Large bathroom with huge walk in shower. All staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Bar area was very nice but didn’t not use the restaurant. Very good location just enough away from the hustle and bustle but everything just close by. Next to the beautiful Grosvenor Park which leads to the river Dee.

The entire hotel was very clean. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. pleasant bar/lounge area.
Parking, as with most Chester hotels is not on site, the only downside of our trip.
Well located meaning you can visit most of the centre and the riverside, all within walking distance.

The Bar. Needs extra, more trained staff, especially when restaurant is open. The service was really slow and tables were not cleared in a timely manner. However, the staff were very pleasant and courteous even though they could have worked a bit faster. The bar phone rang out without being answered. A senior member of staff tried to get to it but was annoyed it wasn't answered. Maybe put her in charge of bar staff training! Overall it did not stop our enjoyment and will return.

This a great value for money hotel in striking distance of the city centre, bars, shops and facilities. The staff are excellent, friendly and knowledgeable.
If you are into history culture, sport or music you are only a short distance away from whatever you are looking for.
I recommend the Boat House for non-expensive great food and a bar at the far end of the strip on the left called the Assembly Room for some cracking live music.

There was no window opening presumably due to safety reasons and the air conditioning was very difficult to set correctly.

Great location, good facilities. Parking not easily accessible for those with walking difficulties- we were so lucky to get the only disabled bay.
Staff were the most amazing attentive people we’ve met in a long time - can’t wait to return!! Even the housekeepers knew who we were - best hotel experIence ever!

Excellent location for as we like to be near tourist attractions, restaurants and bars (all were 4-10 min walk from hotel) but off the main bit so it was quiet at the hotel. Close to railway also.

We arrived by train and the hotel is any easy 10 minute walk from the station and then just under 10 minutes to the town centre.

The hotel was lovely. I cannot think of anything to be negative about. The room was quiet, the bed comfy and I loved the decor. (We were in a 'clocks' room.) All the staff were pleasant and helpful and there is both a restaurant and bar food. The food in both was very good and slightly unusual.

Chester itself is a great place to visit and it is easy to go into Liverpool on Merseyrail. Chester has a lot of history, shops and restaurants!

Really lovely room, wasn’t sure why drinks in the fridge but no water and if they were complimentary? Water x 2 bottles would be a good choice

Ate at the Forge - ribs looked delicious - sharing steak not the best - veg delicious !

Main issue only flavoured expensive vodka - Finlanda isn’t my choice of vodka and although checked there was no plain vodka in grey goose or absolute and no spiced or dark rum either ?

Bed was super high but comfy and toiletries are very luxurious

I had a lovely 6 night stay at the Indigo Hotel. My room was clean with very comfortable beds. The bathroom was large and had a wonderful spa shower with full size toiletries and a robe & slippers upon request. The complimentary snacks were great! My room was a bit cold and I was unable to adjust the heat. I did ask about it and was told it would be adjusted, but did not notice a difference and just wore more clothes at night. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and I would love to stay there again!

Perfect Room for a Special Occasion

The room was perfectly clean and ideal for a special occasion. Slippers and a dressing gown were provided, along with lovely, beautifully scented toiletries. The wardrobe was spacious and easily accommodated all our belongings for the weekend.

We stayed in a Deluxe Room with a King Size Bed and balcony, which was perfect for sitting outside in the crisp January weather with a nice cup of tea. The beds were very comfortable, and breakfast offered a great variety of choices.

Highly recommend — we would definitely stay again.

The hotel overall was very nice and stylish. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was delicious and the Steak was superb but very pricy for the amount received. It cost just short of £100 as a sharing meal for 2 which included 2 sides but the sides portions were only enough for one person.
The room was great, comfy bed and pillows, hair dryer, ironing board & iron, great shower pressure but a few areas needed a deeper clean such as the shower shelf and screen. The mirror also had dirty makeup finger marks on it. This is the reason for 4 stars rather than 5 plus the room was quite cold even though we adjusted the thermostat.

The hotel was beautiful and excellent staff on arrival great location for train station and shops
Unfortunately after an evening out we arrived back at hotel and waited patiently at bar whilst staff stood and moaned about other colleagues with not very desirable language we then tried to order a cocktail but were told they didn’t serve them after 10 even though we had been stood there from 9.55 so tip for everyone the Moxy sell beautiful cocktails till 1am the next morning the cleaners where very pleasant as was the lady at checkout breakfast was a little chaotic but got there in the end

The hotel and room were very good but the service was poor. Upon arrival we were left waiting to check in as 3 members of staff were chatting. Last night my fiancé and I returned from a wake we had been to and went to the hotel bar around 8.30pm. The tall thin young gentleman on the bar was so rude. As he approached us he looked at me and said “yes”. Not how are you, good evening, what would you like or even yes please. Upon ordering he dropped the payment machine in the bar, I tapped it and he picked it up without a please or thank you. This followed 5 minutes later when we ordered a bar snack of chips and bread. He brought the food out with no cutlery, no napkins and the garlic and rosemary mayo never appeared. We have stayed at your hotel before and enjoy the location but the service this time was poor.

Generally speaking, everything was excellent. My only criticism would be the weight of the duvet in our bedroom which was extremely heavy and we also found the mattress to be quite hard. Fully appreciate that these aspects do come down to personal choice however neither of us got a particularly good nights sleepand that is my reason for giving comfort only three stars.
