Kevin at the front desk was kind, courteous and most friendly— super nice and accommodating young fellow. Also, Liz, who works her rear end off at the morning breakfast is amazing— worth a good tip every day. Super disappointed, however, in the breakfast—NO fault of Liz or her crew that works for breakfast. Have been going to this hotel at least once a year for many years now. They always have various college, possibly high school teams in the Hotel. This year, the teams seem to be less courteous and have to wonder how their rooms look when they left. They would come to the breakfast and devour simply everything. As an example this morning, I was there before 8 AM and basically all that was left with scrambled eggs and some sausage links. No fruit, no milk for cereal no oatmeal no bagels or pastries and even all the juices were empty. Several people in my party did not have breakfast included with the room and I paid an extra $20 a day to get nothing to eat. Several people that came after 8 AM were very upset and I feel Hilton will lose customers over having these teams in House. Wondering if these teams are more stable than the average paying customer. Also in the room itself I feel the bathroom desperately needs some updating. Old-fashioned very low toilets and the caulking in my shower around the toilet was not only unsightly, but I wondered how clean. Also, the bed in the room I was in with dreadful. very disappointed in our trip there this time.

Location is good for access to Barnes Hospital and Center for Advanced Medicine. There is an adjacent Applebee's restaurant. The breakfast is not a great value, overpriced for fare that is free at most 3 star hotels. Parking costs about $16 per night. Room was adequate but not up to Hilton standards. Recent renovations have not significantly improved the property.

When we checked into the hotel, our room was 77°. The front desk was called three times and an employee did come up to “reset” the thermometer. We were told no other rooms were available and the room was still 77° when we checked out the next day.

Staff was fine, the mattress was harder than the floor! And feather pillows? They are crap! I use to manage a hotel, the ONE thing every guest expects, is a comfortable bed and pillows. Nothing else really matters. Very diapppointed, will not recommend. No apology for my painful and sleepless night. The little sofa in the room, was more comfortable than the bed!.

There was no toilet paper, kleenex or body wash. We requested this with no response. We sent a second request and received the kleenex and toilet paper but no body wash. We bought our own. Also, we requested two extra blankets. They said they could only do one.

No one was ever available at the front desk. Very poor service. Gave a second star, because they did give us free parking.

Loved the convenience of the Hilton app to check-in/out and use the digital key. When I did have to go to the front desk, they appeared confused with what I was asking (I was asking how to pay for the breakfast downstairs). My shower also had no conditioner or body wash when I checked in.

The hotel was sold out and filled with hospital staff because of a snow storm. Staff was rude and unhelpful because they were short staffed. I tried to check in online but couldn’t get my digital key. After standing in line for over 30 minutes to check in I was handed a key to a room that was not the room I requested. The person at the front desk told me they were being handed out at random because they were sold out. She acted annoyed and overwhelmed. This simply can’t be the first time they have been full. They only gave me one towel and when I called for a second she said they didn’t have anymore. I had to use a hand towel! The room was clean but felt old. The paint was browning and peeling in the bathroom. She stuck me right by the elevator and I could hear everything in the hallway. I didn’t get any discounts and the room was expensive. I felt like I was staying in a youth hostel.

The room was clean but the glass glasses did not look clean to me.
Also, I found this strange and I know there was nothing meant to be unkind by it. When we checked in I sat on a sofa near the desk where there were two employees . It was not busy at all. My husband went to park our vehicle. It was \"warm cookie time\" which is always something that is hyped on commercials. It had been a long day for us at the hospital next door. Shortly thereafter a large group of teens along with I think 4 female adults came in. Almost immediately the two employees began passing out little bags of cookies to all of them. The young people were all yelling about the cookies . Again, there I sat but was never offered any. We are white and all of them were African-American. It just struck me as odd.

We booked this property because it was close to Barnes Jewish Hospital. We were there for a friends surgery. The check in process was simple and easy. Very polite people. An Applebee's is attached to the hotel, so that was convenient. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was nice. I like a roomy shower, and it was perfect.

This hotel is starting to show wear and tear. It gets alot of traffic due to location to Hospital. The location is perfect if you are there for medical stay but there was trash all over the place outside. Makeup on the pillow and yellowed stain on comforter. The blue chair was filthy. Hair on the bathroom floor.

The bed and pillows were comfortable but not happy with the room or hotel. It was very dark, could hardly see our clothes even with all the lights on. The safe was in a closet with absolutely no lights so I couldn’t see how to open it or what was in it. The air conditioner when it went on had a loud grinding noise that kept waking me and my husband up. They try to make you happy by giving you a cookie and bottle of water at check in. But the next morning my husband went down for a cup of coffee and they said they have to charge us for that. Are you kidding. I’ve never stayed in a hotel before where a coffee in the morning was free.
Doesn’t make sense that an inexpensive cup of coffee that is usually a given they cant include.

Overall the property was fine, but I was in a handicap accessible room due to recent surgery. The room had a shower chair, which was great, but the shower sprayer was at the top and I could not bring it down while sitting. In addition, all of the shampoo, conditioner, etc, could not be reached when sitting. The parking cost extra and the garage was not closeby. For someone with mobility issues, I had to park, walk around to the front of the hotel and then all the way across the lobby to get to the elevators. Not well designed with handicapped in mind. My bed had a support bad sticking out the bottom which I wacked my leg on several times. Also, for being handcapped accessible, the beds were way too high. There was no button on the phone to reach the front desk directly and I had to call out to the main line to have questions answered.

good hotel if you need to be in the area. I had trouble with the next door parking garage, I was at a concert and when I returned around 11pm almost no spots to be found. The spots are narrow and the turning radius is also, like older garages. I believe they offer valet also. If I were not to return, besides not liking downtown St. Louis, It would be the garage. I had no trouble with my room, which was very clean and the staff, who were very gracious and kind. I did not try the buffet.

Our first room had issues. The lights were malfunctioning, the armchair was VERY dirty (we put a towel over it but never sat in it YUCK). We notified the front desk of the light issue and when we returned from dinner, the lights were working properly. When I went to use the bathroom for the first time, I looked around and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years! I took photos and video and sent it to the text message I had received about check in. I immediately received a phone call on the toom number from Anastasia She was very sweet and offered to put us in a different room immediately. I informed her my daughter was already in bed and asked if we could move first thing in the morning. She said we could but she got off at 7 but would inform oncoming staff in detail what we discussed and I would have no problem. When I went downstairs the next morning, Anastasia was gone and Sandy, Lynn, and Shay were at the cpunter..I told them who I was and that Anastasia was due to notify them of my issues. I was then told, there was no room ready as we had a room with a king bed and thats what tyoe of room we had to be put in and we would have to wait until one was ready. (We had packd up our things and were ready to move them to the new room so we could get my daughter something to eat) Limited characters so in a nutshell, we ended up locked out of the parking garage and the old room all tyoes of chaos. New room iron didn't work we couldn't iron our clothes for the concert...

What a convenient place to stay when attending appointments and procedures at the medical center. Bed was comfortable with clean room. Breakfast was somewhat lacking. Those cookies at check-in were GREAT. My husband and I could have eaten half dozen, YUM. Shout out to Brandon who was courteous and funny. Will definitely use this hotel again for future appointments.
