First room I was given had a very sticky floor at the entrance and there were signs of food left on the floor. Guy at desk seemed bothered I wanted another room. 2nd room was much better though the desk was splattered with something, the cushion under the tv had crumbs in the crevice and there was no do not disturb sign in the room. Breakfast the first morning which started at 6am was beyond underwhelming and seemed not prepared. There were no bagels, no oatmeal. Just cereal and waffles and bananas and some bread. The 24 hr iced water and hot water for the complimentary beverages was inconsistently replenished. I don’t know the cleaning process but on my floor there were dirty paper towels scattered outside of some rooms. Weird. Overall, I would not come back as it’s also not in the best area.

The hotel is very nice. I would suggest getting to breakfast early they don’t restock when things get low or go out. Don’t go out after dark. The area was sketchy when we walked for dinner. Order food for delivery.

I waited to give this hotel a review until I finished staying at the other hotels on my holiday. Safe to say this one was by the far the worst, and no other hotel came close to being as bad. The staff were rude and unfriendly, my room hadn’t been cleaned efficiently (there was hairs in the bed and a pair of socks the last guest must of left), and the room had a terrible smell. I was travelling alone here so grabbed food at local places and brought it back to eat, which resulted in creating a different smell from the rubbish as no cleaner came the whole time I was there. On the last day I was there, late in the afternoon someone banged hard on the door and within a second was trying to get into the room. The bathroom was right next to the door and I was undressing to take a shower.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone if they can avoid it. I flew to NYC after staying here and only paid $200 more than what I paid for at Tru, and that was not only a better experience but also a longer stay.

Wow! Where do i even start. When we checked in, the tv and internet were down. We were comped a $5 dunkin donuts gift card for that. It did come back on by later that night. I paid for the valet \"covered\" parking but they just parked it by the sidewalk in directly in front of the hotel where i ended up getting a parking ticket! Thankfully the valet service was accommodating when i brought them the ticket. I was told it will be taken care of. $55+ tax a day to have my car parked on the street seemed a little silly tho. When i was finally able to lay down for the night on our first night there, the fire alarm ended up going off and everyone had to evacuate. Our first night there was very hectic to say the least, but the staff remained very polite despite all of the issues happening that night.
The rest of the stay was smoothe, the breakfast was kind of mids but it was free.
Upon leaving, went to get our car from valet, which was kind of pointless since our car was just right outside, the valet walked off with the keys and didnt come back for a while we stood by our car confused. He finally came back, handed me the keys and said \"i walked almost 2 miles looking for your car\" and then just walked away. Which felt a bit awkward.
Overall tho, wasnt terrible but definitely was not great experience. I dont think ive ever been this stressed staying at a hotel. Some of the stuff was out of staffs control tho, so i get it.

Additionally we requested maid service two days in a row and both days we didn’t get any service. Probably won’t be back and try something else in the area. Appreciated the ladies who did the breakfast service.

There were no extra sheets, no coffee pot, no ice bucket w liners, some pillows that were half deflated. No microwave. It was overpriced with two “armed guards” in front of the building. One was as skinny as Snoop Dogg that wouldn’t win a fight in a monkey poop fight. Breakfast was gross-everything was half available-there was brown sugar but no spoon and none left. There was some random brown-red liquid left on the shower faucet. Super disappointed and wish we should have picked different.

I booked and payed for this hotel 3 months in advance for a weekend for the zach bryan concert I was going to for my 20th birthday. upon arrival they said i had to be 21 for check-in when i was never told that before. the lady was honestly really nice and said id be fully refunded but it’s been a week now and I have yet to get my refund.

Not sure how much my room was cleaned prior to me arriving. It appeared to be clean but there was a sock left in the desk chair. When I went to get into the bed, the sheets were not changed from the previous person. There was dirt on the sheets and they smelt like men's cologne. I asked for new sheets. They were provided but I had to change the bedding myself.

When we got there at 1 am to check in I had to wait for someone to let me in even though I called as I was parking to ensure someone was there. She seemed annoyed and hardly said a word. We then go up to our room and all of the bedding is rolled up on the bed/dirty. I go back down and no apology or anything. She just tosses me more keys and says \"go down two doors\".

I continued to run into rude people and people who made me feel I was bothering the for just being there. Only exception being the woman who works during the day.

I won't be staying again next time in town. I was very disappointed for what was provided service wide vs how much paid.

I arrived at the hotel, which I had stayed at just last month in December with the same card I used in December and was turned away. they said they didn't accept the card I use which is a chime card. So I lost $230.00 because I didn't get the insurance because I had stayed there before and didn't have any problems and I had made the reservation on the same day as my check in

Upon my arrival at the hotel, the staff was very courteous and welcoming. However, once I reached my room, I discovered that the toilet was not flushing. I took some time to settle in and unwind before contacting guest services, who promptly addressed the issue by relocating me to another room.
After getting settled into the second room, I decided to rest. When I woke up, I noticed several bug bites. I immediately took a hot shower and inspected the room for bedbugs but initially did not find any. I then lay back down to watch television, at which point I noticed a bug near the pillow. Upon closer inspection, I confirmed it was a bedbug and contacted guest services again. They apologized for the inconvenience and moved me to a third room.
Overall, while the rooms were somewhat small, they were cozy. The food was acceptable—neither bad nor exceptional.

The room was nice, my only concern was the politeness of the staff, making our stay unpleasant.

First, when we checked in, there was no one behind us, no big rush. But when my teen politely asked when breakfast was, the lady behind the counter snapped, \"I'll get to that in a minute.\" Then she said her script so fast that we couldn't follow. My kid was asking a perfectly appropriate question for the circumstance, and didn't deserve to be treated like that.

Second, during breakfast, my teen took one muffin. The lady at the breakfast angrily yelled across the room, \"No! Use the tongs!\" (My kid later told me that she hadn't seen the tongs. ) A polite reminder would have been appropriate and kind, but instead, rudeness and yelling. I was disappointed.

Training in customer service would go a long way to making guests' stay much more pleasant.

I fully prepaid my stay at this hotel. When I tapped my credit card for the $100 incidental charge the card didn’t work (same card worked at 4 other hotels this trip). I tried a couple more times. The receptionist attitude was basically that I cannot be checked in and I had to resolve the card issue with my bank. I tried the Apple Pay and it worked - same credit card.
My point is I fully prepaid over $500 for this stay and the dismissive and unhelpful attitude I received was just not on. I’m sure a compromise could have been reached if I hadn’t got my card working - which again has been accepted without exception everywhere else I have used on this trip.

The staff was the best part of the stay! And the cleaning staff were friendly! But my room was only cleaned once and when I requested new towels never got them! Downtown area of STL filled with lots of homeless people so the hotel was fully guarded with security that is a very telling sign that the area isn't that safe! Valet parking for $55 was almost the same cost of the room per night! The frozen egg mix and subpar breakfast meat was like blahhh I only ate it once. But the coffee was good! The hallway trash cans smelled so bad every day like the idar was so bad I had to hold my nose the trash needs to be emptied every day! Also around breakfast time the places where people eat need to be cleaned hourly lots of food debris on the floor. Overall it was a bad experience but I wouldn't recommend unless on a budget and need something just decent enough to get by!

The hotel seems like it’s trying its best but still falls short. There’s homeless sleeping across the street. The valet are also security guards for the hotel. Multiple security guards, which gives a bad feeling about the area. Valet area no clearly visible so you might end up parking the overpriced lots charging $40 a night for parking. Unsupervised kids running in socks around the lobby. The elevator lobby area in every floor is decrepit and creepy. Gets better once you get to hallways with rooms but then the stench of cigarette smoke starts.

I will say the area felt a bit unsafe. There is a valet parking fee that feels mandatory; otherwise, street parking is hourly and can be risky. The staff were very nice and accommodating when we needed to check out early, which I greatly appreciated. Breakfast was fairly average, but the room was clean. The hotel is dog-friendly, which we appreciated.
