We enjoyed our stay here and especially loved the bar, however we left some precious items behind in a drawer and called to collect them that evening only to find they said they weren't there. They explained housekeeping goes through everything once a guest leaves so it is apparent that housekeeping has kept our items which is disappointing.
I have called back several times to be put through to the housekeeping manager and it goes straight to voicemail. I have left numerous messages but unfortunately nobody has returned my call.
This has tainted my opinion of this hotel which is very disappointing as it has the potential to be a wonderful hotel.

Great location, good pillows. The "air freshener" in the lobby was a bit strong. The stairs made me feel like I was in a horror movie, in part that was out of the hotel's control die to it being an old building (narrow, floor level changes, odd passage ways between floors) but the piles of debris and old clothing in the corners combined with dim lighting is correctable.

Food at the restaurant is poor and I think it isn’t cooked there just heated up (and not well). There was no housekeeping (was there 3 nights). Clean room but needs some maintenance. Excellent location. Pretty building. Polite staff. No complaints really except don’t recommend you eat there and would be nice if at the very least they provided new cups and coffee pods and emptied the trash daily.

This is my 4th time staying here with two large pups. I checked in on April 2 in the evening. I was greeted by the most welcoming person at the desk. I wish I had written her name down. She checked us in and explained everything. She anticipated any unforeseen needs for us! The room was spacious and spotless. There is a dog park right next door for the dogs and art to view. Walkability is 10/10 from the ballpark to dog friendly restaurants to great parks and shopping. Restaurant on site. Breakfast was amazing, even a to go box. Very accommodating staff. Don't forget the famous cookies from 8 to 9pm. They are also great and ask for the recipe. We will definitely be back! Parking is separate I believe. Staff are nice. 50-55 in and out service. They have a texting system so you're not waiting in the rain so that is nice. The only downside is that there is really no one to help with bags. We usually manage our own however, there was no cart for your things available and no one was able to attempt to locate one. All and all. Who cares it is really a great place. Maybe if I need one next time, I'll just call ahead or put it in the request section when booking if needed.

Very close to The Dome. The rooms air conditioning didn’t really feel like it was working too well even when we cranked it down to 60 degrees. The bathroom didn’t look too clean in the shower as there were black stains on the wall and a dirty looking floor in the shower. The shower curtain barely held the water out so the floor got soaked each time. Besides that it was a fairly average room, nothing fancy.

Staff was friendly, nice spacious room with 2 tvs with one being in the sitting room, just older hotel. Bed was comfortable and clean. No smells. Would stay again. Sauce on the side has exceptional food which is a restaurant inside the hotel. Very good stay!

Very cute boutique hotel. Parking around the area was inconvenient but understandable in downtown. Valet is available as well as a parking garage on the next block. The restaurant is cute and the food was good but very limited selection.

This hotel is beautiful. Very old Hollywood. Recently stayed for a weekend. The staff was lovely. The Valet service was spectacular. The room was spotless clean. The bathrooms are lovely. I will say the shower is small but worked for what it was needed for. Mattress and pillow were comfortable. Old world charm at it's finest. The restaurant, which we had breakfast, had a great selection of food. There is an adorable pool table room and library off of the lobby that is inviting and relaxing. The people at the front desk on check in and check out were outstanding. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The room was about the only good thing about this hotel. The parking was a nightmare. Ridiculously expensive. The food wasnt that good and it was very over priced. They are short staffed very badly in the restaurant so wait times were so long. The condition of the hotel was pretty trashy. It just looked dirty in the main entry way and in the hallways. Food trash left everywhere. There is only 1 ice machine and 1 microwave for the entire 18 floor hotel. And there are no vending machines at all or anywhere to get drinks or snacks they tell you to just doordash something. I paid $700 to stay there for 4 days and it was so not worth it at all. This place was an over priced dump.

We went for a funneral. The hotel apperence is beautiful and the rooms are like the pictures. The beds were very comfortable. You will have to pay for valet parking or park on the street for free. Velet parking is $57 per night y'all i didnt see or read that before booking room. Please don't pay for breakfast when booking your room. You only get two options when you pay when booking room its not worth it. Just buy breakfast if you choose to dine in restaurant. Room service might be better.

Great Staff. Enjoyed the bar after a dinner on the Hill which was about 15 minutes away. Third party valet parking took great care of getting our car when needed. We will look at staying here again when traveling that direction

Room was filthy! Do they have maids? Bathroom was never cleaned, return sir was filthy!! Tub finish is coming off and mildew on shower walls with hair in tub and floor! Would have love a decaf coffee in room in the evening. Need updating in rooms. Room was a suite but smaller than any normal I’ve been in!!

Main door to room was stuck and the magnetic key was not engaging and had to go back downstairs at front desk to get told that doors always stick. They then told me the secret to opening the door.
Once in the lamp would not turn on and the front desk provided a new one.
Food had been stuck behind the bedroom and bugs were crawling on table.
The bath tub slip mat was stained and molding.
And last of all the air conditioning was out for the entire hotel.
Very aggravating time and "sorry" was used to much with no type of compensation.

Our room was extremely small and appeared as though it had not been properly cleaned in quite some time. The entire space felt very worn and in need of a major upgrade. There was visible mold in the shower, the walls were dirty, and the furniture was dented, dusty, and stained. The dresser and other pieces looked old and poorly maintained. Everything felt outdated and not well kept. I honestly dreaded having to shower. The entire hotel seems overdue for a full renovation. It felt old, dusty, and neglected throughout. Our room was also very hot and the air conditioning was not turned on. When I called the front desk, I was told the air had not yet been activated. They did bring us a fan, which we appreciated, but it was uncomfortable.

The elevators were extremely small and one of the three was out of service. This caused long waits both going up to our room and coming back down to the lobby. Additionally, there were no options to purchase snacks or bottled water. There is no small shop or convenience area within the hotel, which was inconvenient.

Overall, the property did not feel clean or well maintained, and it did not meet expectations.

The Magnolia is a beautiful hotel. The visual imbue a feeling of luxury. Enjoyment is in the details however and in our room these were lacking. Our mattress was saggy and the sheets were not laid properly so that we slept next to the comforter. How many people have slept on that comforter? Yuck.

Staff was kind. Our room was not great.
We felt like we were in a closet. All of our other family members had decent size rooms. Our had the refrigerator onthe floor, there’s had a table/bar. The dresser was about 10-12” deep. Only socks could go in it. No body wash, the toilet ran all day and night. Maintenance did come and fix it. The room was so hot, we turned the ac on to find out it did not work. No cookies at 8pm.

The location of this lodging facility was fantastic, near many restaurants, pubs, and entertainment venues. In terms of the property, it needs some attention. While the overall condition of the room was clean, the windows and the window frame had not been cleaned in months. The restaurant in the premises need more staff and better provisions. There were only two ladies and they did not have time to clean tables, they didn't have time to make more coffee, and they basically didn't have time for anything that many customers requested. The breakfast is advertise to go until 11:00 am on weekends and by 9:30 they did not have many of the items or ingredients needed to make the items advertised in their menu. So, skip the $25.00 additional charge for breakfast and go somewhere else. You'll eat better and you'll leave happy.

Front desk did not tell us the AC was not working u til after we checked in. We reserved three rooms. The restaurant had a limited lunch and dinner menu. We were traveling with a kid and the restaurant could not accommodate lunch for a kid. Also the grout in the bathroom looked dirty and the carpet in the rooms was dirty and there was liquid splattered on the wall behind the couch. The valet took a very long time. There was only one valet there the three days we were there. The wait was up to 15 minutes. Our daughter requested a fan for her room due to the AC not working and it never arrived. We had to go buy o e for her and her family.

First off, parking was OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive…if you accepted what the front desk offered. Walk a block or two and the price was half that of the hotel. Otherwise, pleasant lobby, nice fast elevator, and, most importantly, very dog friendly. The room—we, of course, had been ‘elevated’ to a deluxe ‘king’ (i.e., the odd room at the end of the hall, that refused to layout the way others did—was adequate at best. The heating system malfunctioned and the room stayed at a toasty 80º. Good water and hot water. Excellent calzone restaurant right outside the door (and I don’t think much of calzones generally). Wacky guests, of course. It was difficult to take Elsie, our GSD, ‘out’ when necessary from the 17th floor, though eventually she loved riding the elevator and learned to press the call button in no time.

The only minus, and it was totally out of their control, was a malfunctioning cooling tower, so no AC. Who would have thought it was going to be in the 70’s the day after Christmas?
