Expedia and the hotel refuse to call back or answer emails about the experience there and the extra $75 I had to pay on top of my booking because Expedia fees were listed incorrectly. They admit it..all parties admit it..and no one will refund me. I would have never booked here and would have booked somewhere else if they'd had told me it was going to be more.

We plan this trip yearly for my husbands birthday trip to watch the Cardinals play. We always stay at this hotel and this year was the first that we were disappointed. We booked for 4 days 3 nights our room wasn’t cleaned once. We asked the front desk for towels Sat evening on Sunday there was a cleaning lady outside our room and we asked for sheets, towels and a tidy up. When we got back the room was not touched. No towels no sheets my husband went back down to the front desk and asked for towels. The gentleman stated they were out at the moment but took our room number down, we never got the towels.

There was nothing said about valet only parking,the valet left my car out so long before parking it that I got a parking ticket. My daughter’s room had blood stains on the fold out bed. My favorite is that within 3 hrs of us being there our room was broken into while we were sightseeing and it turns out it wasn’t just ours but several other rooms. The breakfast was horrible and we ate elsewhere after the first day. I’m not bashing the whole chain because I did stay in one in Seattle just a month ago and had a great experience there

Unable to check in at 4pm because they only had one person working and the line was wrapped around to the pool table. Finally checked in after the game at 10:15 and our room was very dirty, food and sauce on the floor, sofa couch laid out un made. Finally got a new room at 10:45pm. Upon arrival they told us they couldn’t check our bags in and we had to leave them in our vehicle. Had to use the public bathroom to get ready for the game

Id avoid this place what a joke l. Let's start with the valet. They didn't even take our car to a garage it was in the same spot out front where we left it. The next morning there were cars all over the street they had to move 3 cars to get our out. To the room very small we pulled the hide a bed out for my daughter which had hairs and stains all over it. No thanks. Everytime the people in the room next to us used the bathroom or shower we could hear it so well it was almost like it was in our room. I have a feeling there's much better places in the st louis area to stay.

The rooms were clean but I am not satisfied with the check in process at this location. I stood in line for about one hour to get checked in only to be told that the room was not ready due to the Cardinals Cubs game making the hotel booked to capacity and the cleaning staff could not clean the rooms fast enough. We finally got a room after we went to the game which was at 6:15 pm. Even then it took about 15 minutes to get to the desk to check in. Our check in time was at 4:00 and we finally got into our room at about 9:00-9:30 pm. I’m sure there were at least 20 customers in line after me waiting for a room. At breakfast they ran out of juice and I saw no eggs. I did get coffee. I will never stay at this location again with that type of of service.

There was a big (looked like a water bug) bug that was fairly well sized. I saw it my last morning there when I turned on the light that morning in my room. It scurried across the floor.

Also, they ran out of bowls at breakfast as well as some of the juices. The eggs did not taste much of anything.

The hotel was right at the intersection of where the city seemed safe and where it did not. I did, however, feel comforted by the security guard in the lobby.

I would not stay there again.

Parking was scarce and metered during the day. Still a better option than the $50/day valet. Rm 514 had the worst view, walls of neighboring buildings and dumpsters. Dirty view.
Took awhile for hot water otherwise suite level amenities were good. Door had to be forced closed, but it shut. Breakfast was nice but busy the entire 3 days we were there and they ran out of things a lot.
Picked this location for the short 20 min walk to Busch stadium.
Overall nice hotel but not worth the $150/night.

It took over an hour of standing in line to check in. Only to finally get to a room that was not yet serviced by housekeeping from the previous guest. When we went downstairs to tell the front desk what happened (after waiting in line for 15-20 minutes yet again) we were told to return to the room to take pictures to prove that the room was not ready for us. I told the staff that was not acceptable and he did provide us with another room at that point. No apology given however. This hotel is obviously very understaffed.

There were too many vehicles fir the area. They had valet parking for the night but we were scared that someone would take our other belongings out of our vehicle when we slept. Great pet friendly hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. Many differ areas to sit on main floor with natural light.

The staff was really nice. I stayed on the 4th floor and it had a musty odor in the hallways and my room. On my first day I was followed from the elevator by someone who said he was going to the 7th floor but got out with me then followed me and when I got to my room he asked me if I got it. Then five minutes later he banged on my door and said it's this my apartment. I wanted to leave them but my wife talked us into staying. Then I went to my vehicle which I had to park a block away because parking isn't included. I was approached numerous times by people trying to sell me drugs. We immediately left a day early after the event that we drove 5 hours to see. Couldn't sleep there another night. There were also homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. Not as advertised!

Room was clean and well-appointed. The staff members were incredibly friendly and efficient. Check-in and check-out was amazing.

Parking is a bit of a difficult undertaking. The valet was kind, but the garage is a block away from the hotel, which makes it difficult for in and out. The valet had already pulled my car in anticipation of my check-out. That was great!

The hotel is in a good location if you are going to Busch stadium and nearby restaurants.
The breakfast was ok. I wished there were more options for food but waffles are always good.
The hot water in the room wasn't as hot as we like it but we made it work.
The front desk staff and valet gentlemen were great. However, one person on valet service didn't work very well when people were checking in and out. At least 2 are needed.

We got a room on the corner of the building and it was so big and pretty. It was very clean. The room said 1 bed but it also had a couch with a pullout bed. Breakfast was good and free. Parking can be expensive. Felt safe here despite lots of homeless people downtown.

We booked 3 of the exact same rooms at this property for $280/night and when we check-in, they told us one of the room can only accommodate 2 instead of 3 people so we need to make it work among ourselves because there is nothing they can do. After we went up to our rooms, 2 of them had wet carpet and cleaning supplies still in them. We had to wait another 20-30 min for them to finish up everything but our feet got wet from the wet carpet. They just said it will dry eventually. Later at night, the shower in the room that can only sleep 2 does not work so they switch us to another room where the shower did work but the toilet was broken. All they say is that there is nothing they can do until the next morning. When we check-out, they ran out of luggage storage space and basically told us to take our luggage somewhere else because there is nothing they can do. That's all we hear during our 2 night stay is \"there is nothing we can do so you guys put up with it and make it work yourselves\". Will not stay in any other Hilton in the future and I do not recommend staying there for anyone with their horrible attitude.

The room was clean. The breakfast included was good. There isn't much parking available, so you are forced to do valet. They brought my car back to me with a flat tire (it had a nail in it) and didn't have one before that. They didn't do anything to remedy the issue. All I was offered was to use an air pump. I ended up having to purchase a new tire so I could drive home.

This was a disappointing stay. It just seemed as though they didn’t have it together - from the TV and internet being out on our first evening (with no communication about it from the front desk), to window shades not working, unprofessional behavior from staff (valet in particular) to the fire alarms going off at 11pm and no information on what actually happened when the building was evacuated. I witnessed a verbal altercation with very colorful language from the valet to a guest which was disgusting, as well as a staff member calling out (very loudly) a guest in the dining area in front of other guests. Would never stay here again and strongly encourage others to reconsider.

Definitely didn't end up staying and had to lose money because they wouldn't refund us. It was not a safe place for children. The parking garage is like a block away in the sketchy part of Down town. I couldn't imagine staying so we didn't. I wouldn't have been able to sleep because it was scary location and outside there was a bunch of homeless and gang members.

We booked this hotel for the vicinity to the Dome and for the known chain name. There were several issues during our stay that i think were significant due to the fact the hotel was sold out for the weekend:
Parking is only valet and there was only one person working valet, so, could take up to 45min to get the vehicle
3 elevators but only 1 was working
We didnt have hot water the first morning we showered
The handle on our bathroom drawer was broken, the piece put in the drawer, when we arrived
There were dirty dishes from the previous guest in the dishwasher, which caused the room to smell bad

We stayed one night for a concert at the Dome. It was a decent walk but doable. The property itself is clean and cute. The location is not great with lots of construction and road closures surrounding. It made it very hard to get an Uber and find parking. When we arrived at 5, the $55 valet was full so we had to pay $66 to park overnight down the street. The staff were all very sweet and although we didn’t eat breakfast it looked great! Overall, we would stay again!

There was an unexpected $100 incidental fee “held” on my account until after our stay.

There was absolutely no parking available near the hotel, and the hotels Valet garage is $55/day which was kind of shocking.

The room itself was fine, breakfast was average, no complaints.

I was mostly disappointed in the unexpected fees and parking cost/availability.

We’ve stayed at the Home 2 Suites St. Louis Downtown before and have always liked the location, especially since it’s so close to the Enterprise Center. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing.

We arrived a little after 4:00 p.m., which is the listed check-in time, and the lobby was packed with guests trying to check in. There were only two employees working the front desk, so the line was long. When we finally reached the desk, we were told our room wasn’t ready — and we were just one of many guests being told the same thing.

Frustrated, I used the app to check in so we could at least go get dinner while waiting. We finally received a notification at 4:55 p.m. that our room was ready.

When we returned to the hotel, we discovered their parking lot was already full and had to find parking elsewhere. After finally getting to our room, things didn’t improve. The floors were sticky, the toilet paper dispenser was partially ripped out of the wall, and there were still dishes left in the dishwasher.

On the last day of our stay, I went to the fitness room to work out. When I finished and headed back to my room, a man who had been wandering around watching people followed me down the hall toward my room. I’m not sure what his intentions were, but it was unsettling.

Overall, while the location is convenient, that’s where the positives end for us. Based on this experience, we won’t stay here again.

Everything about this hotel, its location, the breakfast area, views and the rooms, you would think I would be giving a 5 star review. But everything about our stay, came with a huge headache. There is no on site free parking. There is nowhere to pull up in front to run in and check in. There is no free public parking lot anywhere near this hotel. You have to either pay a ridiculous amount to have Valet parking or, try and find a street parking spot in the area and pay the meter fee. Oh it’s free after 7 but you have to make sure to start paying the meter by 8 am or you risk a ticket. Absolutely beautiful hotel and the room was fantastic. Breakfast was disappointing, nothing fancy.

When I booked the room on the site it said that pets stay free. When I got to the hotel check in they said it would be a 75 dollar fee. I showed on the website that it currently said pets stay free and I was told that it wasn’t true and hadn’t been updated yet and it was a 75 dollar fee. Part of the reason I booked this room over another is because I was told a pet can stay free.

I booked and paid for this hotel through Expedia in OCTOBER! I was never notified that there was a problem. We showed up at 3pm to check in and were told that the hotel was oversold by 10 rooms and I would have to find my own accommodations!! Scrambled in their lobby and found an EXCELLENT substitution!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!

The hotel and the room were very up-to-date, clean and inviting, the staff including the security guards (James, Norris and Mike) were all very professional, full of information about the area, restaurants and sights. They all went out of their way to help us and were so friendly. The breakfast was changing every day and better than your normal hotel breakfast. And the hotel was convenient to everything downtown
