The hotel and room were modern and fresh. The cleanliness in the nooks and crannies could be better, particularly in the bathroom. Loved the kitchenette, very convenient. Breakfast was hit or miss. It was great if it wasn’t busy, but was very crowded when busy. The breakfast staff member was great at trying to keep up and he had a great attitude!

Staff was very responsive, friendly and great. The hotel had everything we needed, we travelled with 3 teens and a pet, the suite was enough space to relax and had the key features that made the stay easy. The kitchenette and storage space worked perfectly for our stay. Full continental breakfast with waffle bar, breakfast was a bit crazy in the mornings, a lot of families, but the staff kept up and kept calm. I’d definitely stay again if we return to STL.

Was in town for NCAA Tournament. I was there five nights and only had my room cleaned once. They say they clean it every other day and since I had two separate reservations it didn’t get picked up from system. I had to go to lobby to get towels at midnight and told them I didn’t have my room cleaned yet. This was the third night. I would have thought that my room would be a top priority. So the next day they didn’t clean my room until 430pm which was after I complained at 4pm. Then they only give you three towels to last two days. The breakfast was a free for all and usually ran out of food. Then my bill they changed me three separate times but there was only two reservations. I guess when you book from secondary party like hotels.com they sometimes do that to make up the price you were supposed to be charged. I am sure I will get the AI response where they will say we understand. I won’t come back. There was free parking so that was a plus. The shutter service says 3 miles but it wouldn’t take people to Enterprise Center, which is closer to 4 miles. Know your clients. A lot of people were there for the NCAA Tournament. I will say Erica was a good front desk worker. The guy working the late shift was a moron.

Kitchen only had a plastic colander, measuring cups, can opener and a rubber spatula for cookware. Portable cooktops had to be checked out at the front desk so did not nearly seem like a kitchen.
Sliding bathroom door was very difficult to grasp and slide.
Staff was very helpful and polite.

Our stay was disappointing overall. Breakfast was consistently overcrowded and poorly stocked unless you arrived right at 6:00 AM. On multiple mornings—not just the first—items like yogurt were unavailable, the fridge wasn’t restocked, and we had to wait a long time just to get waffle mix.

The room itself also had several issues. The bathroom door didn’t lock, the toilet seat was unstable, and the faucet was loose and coming off. The in-room coffee maker was missing pieces, so it couldn’t even be used.

The location wasn’t that convenient for walking to Forest Park as it was too far and not many places to eat around us.

Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, especially considering the repeated issues during our stay.

Great service. Nice staff. Lovely breakfast. Pillows were lacking though. They were very thin. Also, the shower handle was loose, meaning it was not caulked to the wall. It moved significantly from left to right. No issue taking a shower but will cause water to get behind the wall, resulting in mold.

It served it's purpose, but there can definitely be improvements. Laundry was broken, ice machine on 2nd floor didn't work, pool was empty, breakfast didn't even have eggs or bacon. Always enjoy a fuller kitchen when staying multiple days, so that was nice. Location of elevators was difficult to get to for my mom. Someone definitely smoked in our recently, every time we came in, smelled of cigarettes.

When booking this hotel I was looking for convenience as far as distance and a pool for the kids to swim in. I remember this hotel being decent as far cleanliness when we went in 2024. I did forget about the lack of utensils and their poor follow through when requesting help. I will say that the staff we had this time around was great, except the housekeeper banging on our door and everyone else's at 830am asking if we needed service when it was our first morning and they have a sign saying they'll check every other day... This time around.. our issue beyond the housekeeper was that their pool was closed for maintenance. The water was green and the pool service company was out for the weekend. So no pool for us. We arrived in the evening and was flustered with our kids that were beyond excited because they were ready to swim. We tried to remedy the situation with a refund, but we booked through Expedia so they said they couldn't. The next morning I reached out to Expedia and they were incredibly helpful and attempted to find any sort of remedy with Home2 Suites, but they declined. They offered absolutely nothing. I know now for sure to not ever use this location again. It's just not worth it. -- Also, their shower caulk had pink slime mold on it. That takes a while to grow!

Well, that pool is closed for maintenance for MANY WEEKS!!! SO I PAID FOR a satisfactory stay that was way OVER PRICED AND DECEIVING AT BEST...

Would have liked an egg option.

The hotel and service were great however they didn’t have my reservation. Upon check in they didn’t have me in the system. They eventually found me in the Expedia app but still couldn’t access the reservation. The hotel just gave me a room and said they would handle with Hotels.com after which I appreciated. Really bummed us out having to wait to figure out why it wasn’t in the system. Do better Hotels.com.

However, the water pressure was very weak in the shower.

Breakfast was also disappointing. They had little egg frisbees and they had them in this drawer thing that was easy to overlook and hard to get the food out of once you found it.

I stayed at this hotel for a week and unfortunately had several disappointing experiences. One of the drawers in my room kept sliding open on its own and stayed half-open no matter what I did. I reported it multiple times, but nothing was ever fixed. In the end, I had to secure it myself using a hospital-grade 3M bandage tape just to keep it shut.

Housekeeping was also inconsistent. One night they didn’t replace any towels—just removed the dirty ones and left me without clean ones. I had to use a small hand towel after showering. Bathroom supplies weren’t refilled, and I even found my clean clothes placed on the floor. To make things worse, they left their cleaning cloth and spray bottle on the table.

Overall, the cleaning felt only partially done, and basic maintenance and service standards were not met. It’s disappointing, because with a bit more attention and care, my stay could have been much better.

A manager finally answered the phone and I explained that my son has bed bug bites all over him. I was told she had to inform her general manager and that she would get back to me. Still waiting…

Our stay at Home2 was amazing! We were there for a weekend getaway, and the drive to Six Flags was only about 30 minutes. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with a newly renovated bathroom and comfortable beds. We also loved having plenty of shelves in the room to keep our things organized. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel itself was up to standard. The room was quiet and comfortable with plenty of space for a family of 4. The pool was ok. The breakfast was always good. The staff ruined it for us though and seemed to be intentionally inhospitable with only one lone male staff attempting any sort of accommodations.

The rooms are excellent. Plenty of room to move around. Equipped mini kitchen with table space. My son ate breakfast and said the cold items were fine but the hot breakfast items were inferior to most other places. Staff was very friendly. Very homey room.

My family and I generally stay at home2 hotels when we travel. Before starting, I would like to say that anything I brought up to the staff was acknowledged and rectified immediately. When unpacking into the room it was found that one of the cabinets with pillows was not touched by housekeeping, as it had some used pillows along with a clothing item from the last guest. A few things were also noticed during the stay: a couple ants were found in the bathroom, the insides of the clothing drawers had hair and the utensil holder had debris and was stained. The sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom had to stay open, otherwise it would get stuck in the closed position. Finally, the bed was so bad. The springs on the bed were extremely noisy with any movement at all and it was very uncomfortable.

The pool was a salt water pool as others stated and wasn’t the warmest but the kids didn’t mind. The breakfast was great. Every staff member we encountered was extremely nice, helpful, and caring.

My flight was rerouted in the middle of the night because of weather, and the hotel counted me as a no-show, sold my room, and then still charged me for a night! Even when expedia reached out on my behalf, the hotel would not relent on the charge. I would not EVER recommend a stay at this hotel.

We stayed here because my husband had heart surgery at Barnes Hospital. It was close to the hospital and that was convenient for me. This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It was quiet, the staff was all good to me, and the breakfast and coffee were delicious. Room was comfortable and quiet. I would stay again!

My family of 5 enjoyed ourselves. The hotel was in a great location from downtown, the breakfast options were great, we appreciated the saltwater pool and the staff was very friendly. Our only complaint was that the front desk attendant did not communicate the $75 hold fee for incidentals initially. We had to ask.
