Upon our arrival until our departure, everyone made this place feel like home. I am booking our next room as we speak. This is the best service and stay that I have ever had. I highly doubt I’ll ever book anywhere else. When they say that they are a full service hotel, believe it! We didn’t lift a finger. The restaurants, Starbucks, and over all safety won me over as well. See ya next month!

Room was fine, check in was easy. Only complaint is that out of all the elevators only half seemed to be working and we had to wait a long time for an elevator. Being 7 months pregnant it wasn’t an option for me to take the stairs to and from the 8th floor. Only having valet parking as an option kind of sucked as well. Otherwise it was a decent stay.

I chose this hotel because of its prestigious name and prime location, but unfortunately my experience did not live up to expectations.

From the moment we arrived, there were serious concerns. The entire hotel—both inside and outside—consistently smelled like marijuana, which was very off-putting, especially while traveling with my daughter. When we returned at night from an event at the convention center, the entrance felt chaotic and unsafe. The valet area was overcrowded with people lingering around the doors, making it difficult for us to even enter the hotel. It was unclear whether these individuals were guests, staff, or just random people, but the situation was uncomfortable and poorly managed.

Breakfast was another major disappointment. We had prepaid for breakfast as part of our stay, yet the charges did not reflect that. For two avocado toasts with eggs, one chia seed pudding, and two coffees, we were billed nearly $80. This felt excessive and confusing, especially given that breakfast was supposed to be included.

Overall, while the location and brand reputation initially drew me in, the lack of cleanliness, security concerns, and questionable billing practices made this a very disappointing stay. I expected much more based on the hotel’s name and pricing.

Three out of 4 elevators were down on one side with no notice. After waiting for awhile, 20 or more minutes we decided to walk 16 flights of stairs with luggage, so we could get the our event on time. When brought up, we were just told yeah we’re working on it, no sorry or anything. Consider putting up signs so people know.

We absolutely love this hotel and have never had any problems. However for this trip we were put in an interior room (not a huge deal because it was still nice and just for one night just was odd to not have a window) and right next to the elevator. So all night long all we could hear was a metal on metal screeching noise from the elevator going up and down. It was extremely loud and made it hard to sleep. That being said, if you do stay here try to make sure you request to not have an interior room!

This is our second time staying at this property. First time we really enjoyed our stay which is why we stayed again.
After this stay, I doubt we will be back. Room did not have a working toilet. When we went to call down to the front desk, the room phone was not working. Also, no wash cloths.
We were promised 5,000 rewards points from Hyatt. Have yet to see the rewards points that were promised.

The room was great with an amazing view of the Arch. Only complaint is the road noise even on the 6th floor. The room was right next to a fairly busy road and you heard it all night long. Especially the Dodge Chargers when they would get into the short tunnel area. They all want to hear their own exhaust.

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at Hyatt. There were multiple miscommunications from the start. I was informed upon arrival that there was no self-parking available, and I was charged $50 plus tax for parking, which was not clearly explained beforehand.

The staff’s behavior was quite cold and unhelpful. They did not properly explain important details about the stay. For example, I was told that breakfast was included, but I was not given clear information about how or where to access it.

Additionally, only one elevator was working, which caused long wait times as many guests were trying to use it. Despite the inconvenience, the staff did not seem concerned or proactive in addressing the situation.

Overall, this was my first bad experience with Hyatt, and it was quite disappointing.

Nice stay at an older downtown hotel. Was in walking distance of most attractions we were in town for. Very quiet even though there were several middle and high school girls volleyball teams in town for a tournament. Would definitely stay there again.

The property was nice but dated. There were not enough outlets, sink faucet not attached, awful room spray, only 1 of 4 elevators working with a very busy hotel makes for 10+ minute waits. QR codes on the room menus did not work so it was difficult to order food or even know what was offered. Plenty of staff and those interacted with were very kind.

Parking is like $50. We got a \"double bed\" and thought 2 beds, like queens. Nope, actual double beds, like smaller than a full size. It was actually funny how small the beds were compared to the room. The room was HUGE like the size of an apartment. The beds looked like dollhouse furniture in this room. The beds sleep like 1 person, and a midget (are we allowed to say midget?) anyway, 2/10 on the beds.

Housekeeping half cleaned the room behind the previous guest that stayed there, as there was hair that didn’t belong to either person in my party, and when they came and cleaned the room, they only turned one of the pillows over instead of replacing the covers/pillow cases.

This is a top notch hotel. Fantastic restaurants on-site, steps from the St. Louis Arch, amazing views from the room and very comfortable beds. Easy walk to everything downtown has to offer and a super attentive staff. I was disappointed there wasn't a pool, but having said that, I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The hotel is clean and very nice. However, I experienced poor customer service. I phoned to say the coffee pot wasn’t working. I was assured they would bring me one. Even though he said they were extremely busy. I went to bed with no replaced coffee maker. I phoned the next morning…. Still no coffee maker was delivered. I also had a problem with staying warm. The beds had sheets with a very thin blanket in between the sheets. I did however find an extra blanket in the closet. (Very thin)!
All in all I would never pay $250 a night at this Hyatt again. I would also use caution to get ice at the vending machine area. The ice just fell out everywhere. I slipped twice in this area.

Called 2 weeks prior to request early check in. It was granted and even followed up the day prior to arrival to confirm. It was confirmed. Also they confirmed our truck woukd fit in valet parking.
Upon arrival early check in was not available, we had to pay extra to upgrade to a room that was available or wait with our luggage 5 hours to get in original room.
Our truck did not fit in their valet parking, so we had to park in the structure a few blocks down the street and walk back to the hotel. It was not ideal to say the least.
The rooms were decent and pretty clean, no bed bugs or anything like that.

Ok, so I spent almost $1,000 for a Thursday - Sunday stay. There is NO continental breakfast, no microwave in the room. There is only one microwave on each floor next to the ice and vending machines. There are no paper towels near the microwave, so when someone makes a huge mess of the microwave it can’t be cleaned up. So I had to find paper towels to clean up someone else’s mess before I could use the microwave. The sink in the bathroom only had scalding hot water, no cold water to brush teeth. The bathroom did not have a vent fan so after showering it was so hot and humid, not only in the bathroom but the entire room. It just seems that you can pay a lot less at other hotels and get a whole lot more. I expected much more from Hyatt & the price I paid.

We had a great experience! The hotel was beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful and we got an upgraded room that made all the difference - a bigger bathroom for 3 girls! The location was ideal, right by the Arch and the view was spectacular. I also want to call out the staff that did the valet parking. They were super - helpful, friendly and managed long lines of cars with ease. Thanks for a great stay!

The first room we got was not the cleanliest and was really rundown. So we called down to the front desk and got a second room, which was much better and you could tell was remodeled in the bathroom. Smelled clean, looked clean unlike first room.
