The shower was terrible. You couldn't figure out which knobs went to where. Also, you simply could not turn the water on or off. You couldn't get a grip on it and when you went the wrong way it put cold water on the overhead on you. I had to get a towel to turn it off. No desk or place to sit with laptop. One TV tray. Why not two? Breakfast was good, but didn't care for music then. Air blew right on head in bed. Room OK but tiny.

Overall great hotel. Check in could've gone better. Was told that there werent any rooms available yet because they were still being cleaned which is understandable and they would let me know when it would be ready. But about 10 minutes pass and I see people walking up and checking in but no one informed me. The staff was nice but not communicative at check in. Also, the bed was clean but the sheets smelled \"off\" idk if it was the detergent but it was different.

Did not like. Lacks comfort. There is no restaurant and not even a hamburg sandwich.
Bedroom on the first floor facing other rooms. You can't open the curtain. Poor and small room decoration. The bed is not king. There are two singles together.
It is 350 meters from the train station, so taxis are not available. Mine was extremely rude, even I offered to pay double, 10 Euros.

Kiel - work trip

Small minibar (no alcohol) included is very welcome. Hotel offer also:
- paddle board (1pcs)
- bike (6+ pcs).
The best is it is for free :)
5 minutes walk from train station make it very good located. I had rook from train tracks side, but didn't hear any train (very quite room).
I will definately choose it next time.

A nice hotel in a great location, close to bars, restaurants and the shopping center. There is parking available but at €25 port night which I thought was very expensive to be fair. Coffee maker in the room with 4 pods, I was there for three nights and asked at reception for some more pods but you have to buy then apparently, that’s a first for me! I might have bought some if the coffee maker actually made hot coffee instead of luke warm coffee

We really liked the easy walkability to the train/bus/boat stations and the unlimited free use of good bicycles. It also is very unique in its set-up of the (very quiet!) rooms and exudes a very relaxed atmosphere in inviting common areas. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, though it sometimes appeared the right hand did not know what the left was doing. The only other thing to mention is that during our 1 week stay our room was not consistently cleaned and we only got coffee pods for the first morning which we were told when we checked in, but could not be explained to us and did not make any sense. The restaurant food (dinner as well as the breakfast buffet) was excellent, however, the dinner menu was a little limited and somewhat overpriced. It also would be preferable to at least have the option to pay cash and not be limited to credit card payment only.

High Prices, Small Room

The hotel has a high attention to COVID regulations and guest safety, which is excellent. Breakfast is a crowded affair, with waiting times of up to 15 minutes before reaching the buffet despite Reception giving an allocated time slot for breakfast. The restaurant staff do their best to manage thought.

I was disappointed as I ordered a superior room, with a water view. The \"superior\" room was standard and very small. The sea view had artistic licence, but I could see the top of a ship from the window. There is no workspace or desk in the room, which is disappointing as I was travelling for work. I complained to Reception about the room, and was simply told \"Well we are full, we cannot do anything\". At least the room was quiet considering the busy road outside.

The gym facilities are good, but I didn't try the sauna.

The hotel itself is boutique, with boutique prices. Fancy slogans and decoration on the wall doesn't command premium prices for tiny rooms and disinterested staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The hotel has a cool vibe, friendly staff, is close to the water and train station and the room was very spacious. I liked the option of being able to check-in myself on an iPad as there was quite a bit of a queue when I arrived and the little packaged wipes all over the hotel and little hand sanitizer bottles in the room were a nice touch given the current situation.

Positiv: Sehr zentrale Lage, sehr gutes Frühstück, Zimmer modern (ob man das mag, ich sicher Geschmackssache) und sehr gut ausgestattet.
Negativ: Mein Zimmer ging zum Bahnhof raus und ich bin nachts mehrfach durch die Lautstärke der Züge (lautes mehrmaliges Hupen über die ganze Nacht verteilt, in der zweiten Nacht wurden über mehrere Stunden die Gleise abgeschliffen) aufgewacht. Die Fenster scheinen zwar sehr gut zu sein und lassen sich nicht öffnen, aber mir hat es trotzdem viel Schlaf geraubt. Auch aus den Nachbarzimmern bekommt man akustisch viel mit.
Das Frühstück selbst war super und es wurde alles stets nachgefüllt, jedoch wurden das Geschirr an eigentlich freien Tischen teils 45-60 Minuten nicht abgeräumt, was dann zu unnötigen Engpässen führte.

Das Frühstück war Top, da gibt's nix zu meckern.
Das Zimmer war sauber, aber auf den Lichtschaltern und Lampen könnte auch abgestaubt werden.
Eventuell erst Betten machen, dann putzen.
Die Musik im Fahrstuhl war anfangs sehr laut, beim Frühstück auch, aber der Bitte leiser zu drehen wurde sofort nach gegangen. Junges,lockeres, modernes Hotel.
Das die Fenster nicht geöffnet werden können hat uns nicht gestört, die Klima/ Lüftungsanlage lief Tag und Nacht und hat nicht gestört. Man kann diese auch super gut einstellen.
Wir würden das Hotel immer wieder buchen.

Super fint hotel tæt på midtby. Venligt personale og fin, enkel morgenmad. Ikke noget ekstravagant. Udsigt som den nu er, når man bor ved Hovedbanegården. Man kunne ikke åbne vinduerne, men fin air condition.

Ausgesprochen schönes Hotel, überall gibt es was zu sehen, moderne Kunst, tolle Beleuchtung, bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten in der Lobby bzw. im Restaurantbereich.

Es liegt direkt im Zentrum mit Blick auf die Hörn. Man ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten am Bahnhof bzw. auch in der Fußgängerzone, trotzdem ist es im Hotel sehr ruhig ( und wir hatten die Kieler Woche direkt vorm Fenster)

Das Zimmer war modern und super schön eingerichtet, sauber, das Bett Sau bequem.

Frühstück war vielfältig und lecker, das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das war unser erster Besuch, aber definitiv nicht der letzte

Auf Nachfrage nach einer zweiten Decke ich war mit einer Freundin unterwegs) erhielt ich die Aussage „das verstößt gg unsere Vorschriften“…Schade, da hätte ich einen besseren Service erwartet.

Fenster lassen sich bei allen Hotelzimmern nicht öffnen, das gehöre zum Konzept :-( Nichtmal einen Spaltbreit. Für mich vorsichtig formuliert keine schöne Erfahrung. Gespräche des Nachbarzimmers ließen sich gut mithören, sprich recht hellhörig. Sonst alles top 👍 super freundliches, aufmerksames Team, schönes Frühstück, inkl glutenfrei Optionen 👍

Dejligt hotel med fin udsigt over havnen. I forhold til centrum er gåturen lidt kedelig, da man går langs befærdet vej og bagsiden af p-huse og biograf. Super værelse med fin vinduesplads. Pænt og rent.

Die House Musik am frühen morgen war mir Zuviel, die lief 24 std. Essen, nicht genießbar, dann lieber McDonald’s. Frühstück satte 25€ für kalte Eier u Spiegeleier die in einer Schüssel std davor reingelegt wurden, für was diese Summe , mir ein Rätsel.

Für den Preis, alles zusammen Zuviel.

God parkering 25€ pr. Dag. Ligger centralt tæt alt. Hårde senge. Meget bløde puder. Ikke prangende morgenmadsbuffet. Der bliver ikke fyldt op. Kartofler var bløde og ikke stegt nok. Pølserne var meget stegte og bløde. Samme problem begge dage vi var der. Personale i receptionen meget hjælpsomme og venlige.

Perfekt til en hyggelig weekend i Kiel.

Elsker stedet. Dette er et hotel hvor man ønsker at bruge tid på stedet. Lobbyen, værelser og bar/restaurant er rigtig hyggeligt. Derudover er saunaen og motionsrummet rigtig godt. God afstand til centrum med godt parkeringshus lige ved siden af.

Hip en lekker hotel in Kiel. Dichtbij het centrum. Lekkere kamer, alhoewel er geen bureautje was om aan te werken. Alleen een plankje op pootjes om op je bed of knieën te zetten. Restaurant in het hotel met de beste fish & chips ever (wel duur). Gezellige bar, lounge met biljart, enz. Er zijn een paar parkeerplaatsen op het terrein, maar er is een parkeergarage vrijwel naast het hotel - inrijden en betalen op basis van kenteken. Net zo gemak en goedkoper
