Very disappointing stay, but ok for one night. Staff was friendly. The hotel is outdated and cheaply decorated. The room was uncomfortable (no table to sit at) and the toilet paper roll was used. The breakfast was average, my eggs were cold but would not consider it highly-rated as advertised. Many other nicer hotels in the area for this price. Would not stay here again.

We had been traveling for several days and needed to wash clothes. Asked front desk for a laundramat and they gave us the key to their private laundry, soap included.
As 80+ year olds we appreciated not having to take a taxi in the wind and rain. Tom and Alex went out of their way to help in many ways.

Solid choice

I had a very comfortable stay. The hotel was spotless. There were many choices for breakfast. The bathroom had plenty of surface space for my toiletries/cosmetics. The convenience to the train station was appreciated after a long journey. Only downside was the noise from the trams early in the morning. If this bothers you, I suggest asking for a room that does not overlook the street.

Hotel front staff were very nice and helpful, always big smile which is not always seen with my past over 250+ hotels stay experience in Germany. Just one of the linen was so clean had suspicious red spot on it..Rest are all good. Great location and comfortable.

A nice property but tired no fridge or safe in the room which was inconvenient. To opt not to have your room cleaned got you ‘a surprise’ which was a piece of fruit and a chocolate bar. Most residents said they threw them away so maybe the hotel would be better giving a charitable donation instead (as we know others do). Central location was a bonus snd opposite the train station.

Great place to stay

Represents great value for money, is easy 5-minute walk to the main train station and the same to the main market square. My room on the 7th floor had a great view over a neighbouring park and to the Opera house. The only downside was that I didn't have a fridge or coffee making facility in my room and there was no air conditioning in the room - I knew that when I booked but the price was very reasonable so can't complain. The best recommendation that I can make is that I would stay there again. The staff were very helpful and spoke English. All up a great stay.

I booked this hotel because it is right across the street from the central train station, but the extra I didn't know about at the time, but enjoyed very much, was the fact that the hotel has bikes that guests can use. For anyone who likes to bike that makes it very easy to see much more in Leipzig (museums, parks, swimming pools, etc.). Another plus is the interior courtyard with tables and chairs and the large koi pond, A really lovely quiet oasis. Finally, the staff were amazingly helpful and supportive in all regards. I would definitely stay here again!

The location was nice enough, parking was easy enough to find and find a spot, but was a tad pricey for literally 12 hours. We spent over 20 euros for 12 hours, but it is what it is. The room was small, but cozy. Unfortuntaely there was no air conditioning in our room, or if there was, we had no idea where it was to turn it on! BUT....the bed! Seriously the most comfortaable hotel bed I have slept on in ages! The bed made up for anything the facility might have been lacking. Would stay there again, in a heartbeat!

The hotel is fine at normal prices but because of a conference surge it is a terrible value for275 a night which was the case for me for two nights

The night clerk - a bearded guy - was very helpful and even came up to my room to ensure that I was going to get my early morning cab.

I think he tried to call but I could not even tell the phone was ringing

I liked that this place was close to the Hauptbahnhof. It was spacious and clean, the breakfast was good, check-in was speedy, no major issues during our stay.

Only downside is that the room did not have a fridge and/or microwave, which led to us having to throw away a lot of our leftovers. Not exactly ideal for a place that is trying to be eco-friendly. We had been traveling in Europe for a month before and this is the first place we encountered that didn't have a fridge. I would not stay here again mainly because of this.

Oh, it was also very hot and there is no AC, although fans were available on request. We were able to keep the room somewhat comfortable with a fan and closing all the curtains (which meant no natural light).

Great location and very comfortable hotel, ideal for a stay in the beautiful city of Leipzig. Rooms were large, light and airy, with excellent coffee machine, large shower room and separate wc. Staff were very friendly and facilities were ideal. A minute from the stunning train station and a few moments walk to the main shopping area and a large selection of bars and restaurants. This hotel comes highly recommended for an enjoyable and hassle free stay. Although we didn’t have breakfast, it looked great.

Situated close to bus and rail station. 5 minutes to city centre. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Free to use cycles, Leipzig is pretty flat and easy to cycles around. A highly recommended hotel for a visit to this beautiful city.

Its good. Wifi was good, Breakfast was good (typical european breakfast, with lots of stuff, though skipped the eggs since those tasted like they were from powder). Wifi was good. The gym is small but functional--one elliptical trainer, one treadmill, plus some machines and weights. The room decor was odd, with odd pictures--I think it is supposed to appeal to a younger crowd.

This hotel is convenient to the main train station, Gewandhaus, opera, and Old Town. The room is comfortable and modern with an excellent shower room. I also recommend the affordable, high-quality breakfast buffet.

The main negative is the streetcar noise late at night and early in the morning for rooms not facing the courtyard.

Leipzig is a pleasant surprise

The hotel was right across the road from the Railroad Station, about 100 meters, so no taxi was required.
The hotel was modern and well appointed. The staff was exceptional, competent and friendly. Checkin was a breeze and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. We were on the inside overlooking the courtyard, and it was very quiet at night.
We were fairly near a lot of the attractions and the downtown so walking was an easy option. The Hop on Hop off bus stop was right across a road from the hotel so that was perfect.
The breakfasts were full and great. The back courtyard was handy for a bottle of wine in the evening. People staying there and staff were friendly.
I would definitely give high marks to the hotel and staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again and to recommend it to anyone.
The only down check might be that because it is near the Railroad station and tgat it has couple of parks beside it was that at times there were some transients around the area at night. We didn’t have any problems with them, but there were some there.
Leipzig turned out to bet a surprise and a delight and I would recommend to anyone to visit there and to consider the Vienna House Easy Hotel as a stopping spot.

I booked 7 rooms for a group of university students for 4 nights. Overall the hotel was very good, but we happened to be staying during a few days that were very hot. Many of the rooms did not have adequate air conditioning (while one or two rooms were comfortable) and there were no fans available. Street noise made it difficult to sleep if the windows were open at night. My students ended up buying fans to help them sleep. So, if you’re going at the height of summer I’d suggest finding a hotel with better cooling (unless you like the heat). Otherwise the hotel itself was very nice.

Great little \"green\" hotel

Good surprise and really nice concept. This hotel is perfect for those who like the idea of contributing to saving our planet. They give you a little gift if you skip on room service, you can borrow plants if you think your room is missing some \"green\". There is no restaurant as such but there is a super cute coffee area where they serve delicious cakes and beverages. Breakfast is good, they have everything from cereals to hot buffet, homemade cakes and pancakes. They even have gluten free bread and BIO jams /spreads. The bedroom is well appointed, modern with lots of space for clothe. The bed is VERY comfortable and you can choose what kind of pillow you want. When on business trip, I never sleep too well but this time I slept like a baby :-) I would say the only downside is the lack of room service for dinner (for me as I usually work and eat in my room) but for those who go out to dinner it's not an issue. The other thing is that there is no in-room safe and although they keep your belongings at the reception safe, it is a bit annoying to have to go there each time you need your things. Overall I would recommend this hotel. Location us excellent as juat opposite the main train station and right in the city Center.

Über Expedia wurde ein Comfortzimmer gebucht, bekommen haben wir ein Standart oder sogar noch weniger. Die Zimmerausstattung war dürftig, anders als beschrieben. Auf Anfrage wurde gesagt, wir könnten ein Upgrate machen gegen Aufpreis. Achtung! Die zum Hotel gehörende Tiefgarage ist kostenpflichtig und das zu horrenten Preisen. Fazit: Schlechte Erfahrung mit Trivago und damit der Vermittlung an Expedia und den Lockangeboten

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und perfekt für ein Städtetrip. Wir hatten leider ein Zimmer zur Straße und hatten dadurch die Bahn wahrgenommen. Wär kein Umgebungslärm gewohnt ist, kann dadurch etwas schlechter schlafen. Leider sind die Suites alle in Straßenrichtung. Das Hotel ists ehr gepflegt und das Personal seh freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gegenüber vom Hotel startet direkt die Hop on Hop off tour. Sehr schön um Leipzig in 1,5 h kennenzulernen. Prima Hotel würde ich weiterempfehlen.
