bummed that I booked a hotel with my kids in the GR area looking for a nice hotel with a pool then we showed up and the pool was being renovated. The hotel was nice overall, clean and newer, decent hot breakfast included. Noisey AC was a bit disruptive all night in the room though.

Property advertises on site restaurant and bar. There is no restaurant. The bar is laughable. The checking clerk doubles as the bartender, they have zero knowledge of drinks, they have zero ability to make mixed drinks, including a simply coke with a mixer. They had a handful of lukewarm beer. The majority of the staff do not speak or understand english which made it difficult to inquire about anything. I asked for toilet paper and kleenex and was given a bath towel. Had a do not disturb sign on the door and housekeeping walked in without knocking or announcing anyway. The breakfast was decent and kept stocked well.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom ran 24 hours a day could not shut it off had to shut the door to the bathroom to cut the noise of it. Plus it let the cold air to come into the room all the time because the vent was forced open from the fans running all the time.

Was expecting more from the brand. Room was average. Pillows very flat and mattress fairly uncomfortable. Shower was installed off-center so water ran down the wall significantly. Fridge in the room but no microwave. Elevator broken, ice maker broken, front door malfunctioning. Just overall not well maintained

Clean room. Spacious. The only thing that was a surprise was the toilet and shower room was very small. Hard to close the door due to space. Nice shampoo and conditioner brand. The sink area was great (another space area). TV was nice. Bed very comfortable. Our mini fridge was not working because of ice build up on the back and needed to be defrosted but they replaced it and was great. The heating thermostat was very easy to control. Recommend this place

We had to book here last minute, as we canceled another booking due to their pool closure (traveling with 3 kids, pool and breakfast are 2 big features for us). The staff members were lovely and the room was very clean. However, they seemed short staffed, as there never seemed to be towels in the pool area, and while there was someone working the breakfast, the food and coffee was not kept up. The pool and surrounding area are very small. The beds, pillows, and blankets were pretty uncomfortable and small.

It wasn't the worst, but we won't stay here again.

I stayed here due to having a family member in the nearby hospital. They do offer a discount for hospital-related stays. Staff were all helpful and courteous. Room and common areas were clean and well-maintained. Very contemporary room layout and decor. Free breakfast was pretty good with a decent range of options.

Dear Hyatt Guest Relations Team,

Upon arriving at our room, we noticed the refrigerator still contained items from a previous guest. At first, we assumed this was an oversight. However, when we attempted to use the shower, we found the handle was broken and it was clear the shower had not been cleaned. These issues indicated that housekeeping did not complete their responsibilities prior to our arrival.

I went to the front desk to report issue woth shower the response made me feel as though my concern was an inconvenience, as she looked at me and asked what I expected her to do. After some hesitation, she stated that maintenance would contact us the following day, which was not an acceptable solution given the circumstances.

I then contacted Hyatt Customer Service. Unfortunately, the AI chat disconnected unexpectedly, and although I was told my complaint would be escalated, I never received a follow-up call or email.

I am very disappointed in this experience, especially from a hotel chain known for quality and guest care. The lack of urgency, communication, and accountability made us feel that our concerns were not taken seriously.

I hope this feedback is reviewed and addressed appropriately, as this experience fell well below the standards I associate with the Hyatt brand.

I used to only go to Hyatt Place when I was traveling, and was literally one of the first guests when this location opened.

It appears to have recently been renovated and the changes are for the worst.

No more carpet in rooms. I found this very disappointing and uncomfortable during the cold weather. No more walk in showers in the handicapped room and the sink outside the bathrooms was never a favorite but now there’s no place to put my shaving kit and other items. Worse yet, the bright lights on the mirror light up the whole room when on, which is inconvenient when others are trying to sleep.

On the lighting, that too has become a mess. Aside from the overly bright 5000k cold color temps, light switches are both hard to find and the sofa area lamp doesn’t even have a light switch on it, so customers are pulling out the cord to turn it off!

Why not a plug on both sides of the bed for charging phones? Ever think of couples staying there?

The heater sounds like a diesel truck when on, and why isn’t there a microwave in the rooms?

Whomever designed this and the cold blue color scheme and the absolutely annoying lighting really should be fired / more so, whomever gave the green light for this should also go.

It has the ambience of a truck stop.

You’ve ruined a really good brand with these changes and lost me as a customer.

The hotel is horrible. I can not work in my room or the lobby with poor Wi-fi service. Can not even transfer/upload small files. I've reported to the hotel staff and both managers as well as leaving multiple messages but never had the courtesy to return my phone calls. It is known issue per front desk staff but management refuse to acknowledge. This is the first time and last I will be staying there.

No receptionist at the check-in (9:00pm), Had to wait 15mins+ for the receptionist to show up and complete the check-in. Room was very dusty. Bed seemed to be small for a king-size. Rooms are a little run down, especially the bathrooms.
Hallways constantly cold like a window/door is open to the outside. Peloton bike unusable, no WiFi connection. Rowing machine inoperable, broken foot strap. Staff mia at times at the front desk with unhappy guests needing help. I would look elsewhere next time.

The parking lot was very icy- the area had been hit with snow & cold weather earlier in the week, but it did not seem like the hotel plowed their parking lot. It was icy & rutted, and no salt or sand to help combat the ice. The staff on Saturday morning were very unfriendly - as I was checking out, the clerk was speaking & I could not understand what she needed from me, and the. I realized she was texting and then chatting on her phone using g ear buds as I was standing there . When she finally acknowledged me, she said “you’re all fine here - Expedia will send you your receipt” and then went back to her phone conversation. The hotel had a lot of kids running up & down the 4th floor. There was a group with several rooms and some if the kids were getting locked out & would be banging on the doors demanding to be let in (all between 9-10 pm.) lots of kids running in from the pool in their suits banging on doors. In the morning, between 9-10am it was much worse. Screeching & running up & down the hallway. Housekeeping was on the floor and did not address the noise.

I have stayed at a lot of hotels and this was a very odd set up for front desk. Small half wall in middle of lobby and no employees in sight. Upon arrival I stood at desk for a few min and no employees were around. I noticed a ring bell for service button so I pressed it. Another 5+min go by before a girl walks out to check me in.
Also later that night when my daughter went to meet her friend downstairs in the lobby there was an incident with a women staying at the hotel that was yelling she had a weapon and acting crazy. Police came and escorted off the property. So just not the greatest first impression overall staying there.

Do not expect a good bar. It is limited selection, it appears the \"bartender\" using that term loosely is also front desk person maybe manager that has to come and serve you. Long wait times had to go find someone and ask if bar was open as advertised. For liquor there is a very limited 1 type of each alchohol and 5 different beers. If you are looking for stay that has bar for a drink after work i would highly suggest a different hotel. The breakfast selection was normal for Hyatt the warming station must have been off as the eggs were cold. Room was nice and was clean.

We have stayed here multiple times over the last few years. Our last visit, however, was a disappointment.

The one bright spot was the manager (I apologize that I can not remember her name). Upon check-in, she warned us that multiple young hockey teams were staying on property and outlined what had been set up for them to help minimize disruption to other guests. I appreciated the heads up and what measures had been set in place.

However, the cleanliness of the rooms was not what was expected. The bathroom had hair on the floor and the toilet seat was peeling (about 1/8 of the seat). It smelled strongly of urine and looked like it had seeped under the edges of the peeled area.

Around 7:30 a.m., there was no cream or creamer available for coffee, only chocolate milk. When we went down a little later to eat, cut up hot dogs were being served for breakfast (I'm assuming the hockey teams must have eaten any sausage or bacon that was available).

While I enjoy the layout of the rooms at Hyatt properties, this visit was not up to our previous experiences or expectations.
