We spent 4 nights in a very spacious apartment that had everything we needed. There was a laundry room available for free and Christian our host provided all the information we needed as first time visitors to Austria. Train and Tram were a simple 3 min walk.

I highly suggest this place when travelling to Vienna.

The tram (43) is 5 minutes away from the accommodation and takes you right to the city. The train that we took from Vienna Airport is just next to the tram. We even travelled to Hallstatt from here, which was a simple journey.

I am from London, so I approached the train/tram map as the underground and then found it easier to manoeuvre. The flat is large, beautiful, and clean. Shops like Lidl and Adli are nearby, and a drugstore like Boots is named the Dm store, which is a few stops away on Tram 43.

We met Christian, who was really sweet and helpful; definitely ask him for recommendations on places to go. Thank you so much for the early check-in and being able to leave our luggage before departing, which allowed us to explore the city more. We had a fantastic first time in Vienna, and we felt quite fortunate to have found such an amazing host and place. I can’t wait to visit Vienna again.

The welcome was beyond expected and set me up for a very successful trip in Vienna. The host was prepared with maps, coupons and directions for obtaining a public transportation pass. This help, saved me time, money and stress in getting to know the city. I am so thankful to the host for such a warm welcome
The apartment was spacious, clean and cozy. The rooftop terrace made for enjoyable sunrises and leisure afternoons in the sun to rest up before an evening of activities.
The apartment is conveniently located near both tram and bus stations for quick access downtown or other parts of the city. After the first day of navigating the tram, I felt like a local in the city of Vienna and didn't hesitate to jump on any bus because of the detailed maps provided by the host. If I visit Vienna again, I plan to book my stay at this same location

Nous avons été charmé par l'accueil offert par notre hôte. De plus, le service offert est doublement amplifié. Nous avons été également comblé par l'appartement fonctionnel et à jour. Propre, fonctionnel, tranquille et matelas de qualité. Seul défaut à corrigé, la base de lit qui craquais au moindre mouvement. Petite suggestion; il serait intéressant d'avoir un balai et porte-poussière dans chaque appt. Près des transport (trains, trams, autobus) pour un service de 20 à 30 minutes au centre de Vienne.

We had a nice stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The apartment had all one needs: a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, old fashioned coffee maker and juicer and a portable oven/grill thing. It was hot when we were staying, so the air con was a welcomed feature.

The room was clean and comfy. Fairly easy to find. Info provided for restaurants, stores and transit. All within easy walking distance. Owners very friendly. Mom was fantastic lady. The only real negative thing for me is that i like to sleep in between 8:30 and 9:00 am. Well, i discovered that there must be a church nearby somewhere because at 8:00 am the church bells would start ringing and there was no way one was gonna sleep through that. It was like having a built in alarm clock for 8:00 am.

This would be a perfect place if you were staying a couple of days and wanted a nice patio and the ability to do some rudimentary cooking. I was just staying one night so didn't have time to take advantage of that. The converse is that the apartment is a 5-minute walk from the reception and there are no hotel-type facilities. Location is good for public transportation. So I would stay here again without hesitation.

Cozy apartment in Vienna for 2 person stay.

Our host, Christian & his wife are friendly and very hospitable. Assisting us in any way to make our stay in Vienna a very comfortable one. Information too was well shared for our first trip and apartment was cosy and nice except that we had to climb 3 flights of stairs each time to go up to our apt though there’s a small elevator for luggages only.
Overall, would highly recommend this apt.

It's a perfect stay in Vienna.

When traveling, we'd like to stay in this kind of facilities, where you have more space, kitchen, etc. This apartment is one of the best we met. It's perfect. Everything is very clean, arranged with good taste. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The location is not very far from center but in a peaceful neighborhood without traffic.

Bright, sunny and very comfortable

Top floor apartment has nice balcony and bright sunny outlook. It was well equipped with toaster, coffee maker etc. and included a small supply of coffee and other items not often found in other apartments we stayed in during our trip. The apartment is very spacious and enjoyable to spend some rest time in. Although it is located a little out of the center of town, the tram line is about 200m away adjacent to a main rail line. The lift is a tourist attraction in itself - very small and in the middle of the stairway. The owners are on site and are lovely helpful people.

Overall this apartment is ok. It's a studio in a apartment building.Not a hotel which means no daily clean up for your room. No toiletries. They do provide clean towel though. The location is close to train station. A little bit far from city center. They have very strict cancel policy compare to other hotel in Europe. So be careful with this. Floor is not very clean. Kitchen have basic cookware. No oven. No basic cooking materials like oil which other b & b provided. Overall this apartment can be somewhat improved.

Great little apartment

This was a great little apartment. Trying to find something suitable whilst the Vienna marathon was happening was not easy. The owner Christian was great during check in and explained everything and assisted with local car parking. The apartment had everything you needed however a microwave should have been a great addition. The beds were comfortable in the main room and block out blinds were great. I will however state the fold out bed in the living room wasn't that comfortable. The location is great with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants and transport.

Comfortable apartment for 5, close to tram which takes you straight into town. Not really anything interesting close to the apartment. It had a 4 star rating, however, i'd only give it a 3. Everything was quite dated & it could do with a freshen up. Nether less, everything was clean & in working order. Washing machine was a bonus.

Spacious and nice location

The apartment is located in a nice, quiet area: a short walk to a supermarket and about a block to a tram stop, which conveniently brings us to and from the city center. My apartment is clean, spacious, and equipped with basic cooking utensils. The elevator is small but functional. Wifi works well. The managers are friendly and helpful.

We booked these apartments based on good reviews and the fact they were supposedly 4 star... When we arrived in the apartments we were met by the owner who was in a major hurry to get away so we were rushed up to our apartment. There was no way we could get the buggy up to our apartment as the lift was tiny and we were 4 floors up, in fact the lift was so small that my wife and son had to go up in the list whilst i carried the suitcases up the stairs.. thats how small it was. once we were in the apartment, i have to say i was very disappointed to notice that our apartment was nothing like those pictures on the website. The bedroom had two tiny single beds that wouldnt look out of place in a jail. The apartment was tiny which wasn't ideal considering we had a baby with us. There was no kettle in the apartment so we had to boil water in a saucepan to make the bottles, but the final straw was that the heating wasnt working in our apartment despite it being freezing outside. I managed to get the heating working in the "living area" but couldnt get it working in the bedroom. we actually had to close the bedroom door and sit in the other room to try and stop the cold from the bedroom getting in to us.

The only problem was that we were located in a separate building. We had a ground floor room, which opened on to a walkway. The security was therefore a problem. The standard of the linen needs to be upgraded and proper mattresses provided, instead of thin mattresses thrown on lounges.

Good value for the price you pay, wont suit everyone as it is a 15 tram ride into town, not a problem for us and trams are so frequent, every 5 mins or so most of the day. Enough aminities in the area, supermarket, cafe, pubs, places to eat etc but nothing special. The appartment was clean, had all you needed for a short stay, fridge, micro, kettle, cutlery etc, decent sized room, big bed. Couple of little downsides for us, no english language tv channels to speak of, just wanted something like bbc world news to watch and chill for an hour before or after a days sightseeing, would have preferred a sofa rather then the two chairs. Christian, the owner, could not have been more helpful and friendly, arrangeing taxi transfer to and from airport which we would not normally do but the price was only a few euros more than the train and much quicker, letting us check out, store our bags, go out for the day then come back and use the shower room before flying home. Overall a good experience.

Excellent Apartment-Hotel

This hotel is a bit hard to find at first. It is located slightly out of the centre of town however there is excellent bus and tram service. The bus can take you directly to the Schonbrun Palace in 15-20 minutes while the Tram runs directly to the centre of town in the same amount of time. There are many restaurants and stores located within walking distance of the hotel. The room furnishings are modest but quite new and in good working order. The kitchette is well provided for and the beds are confortable. There is a train line nearby and you can hear the trains when they go by and the room windows are open. We did not mind the train noise but some people may feel otherwise. This is friendly family-run apartment-hotel is very well organised. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at these apartments. We had to catch two trains and two trams to get there but the public transport system in Vienna is so efficient, it was an absolute pleasure. Christian was very friendly and helpful and showed us to our apartment on the 4th floor. Unfortunately the building was being renovated which meant workman hanging outside the window and lots of contruction noise during the day. The railway line also passes nearby so you can hear the trains. Despite all of that we had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment was exactly what it looks like on the web so there were no surprises. There are 2 bedrooms, a lounge/dining room, a small but modern kitchen, a bathroom and a separate toilet. The beds are very comfortable. WIFI worked well all around the apartment. The area is suburban, quiet and clean. There are restuarants and shops nearby. The tram stops a block away making it very easy to get into the centre of town. (you only have to change trams once).

What a Find!

This was an excellent hotel/apartment. It was very large (bedroom, sitting room, dining/kitchen area and a balcony!) Everything was very clean and everything worked! There is a lift, the manager is extremely helpful and the property is only 15 minutes from the centre of Vienna by tram or train. The price was about the same as that for a typical (tiny) hotel room, but with all that extra space and facilities. We cannot speak highly enough of the manager and the apartment.

Heel mooi appartement (under the roof) met terras en airco. Nooit te warm geweest, zelfs bij 32°C.Dicht bij openbaar vervoer en snel in de binnenstad. Metroverbindingen in Wenen zijn uitstekend. Speciale dank aan de hosts: goede communiatie vooraf, proberen aan alle wensen te voldoen en zijn heel vriendelijk.
Wij hebben genoten van het appartement en van Wenen en kunnen Appartments Ferchergasse zeer aanbevelen.

Zona tranquila, con supermercados alrededor y bien comunicada. A 3 minutos de reloj de la estación hernals que es de una línea de la OBB, con trenes cada 10 minutos q dejan en la cabecera de las líneas 3 y 4 de metro y en la cabecera de la línea s80 de la OBB que lleva a la estación central de trenes. Se tarda 30 minutos de reloj en llegar a Stephen Platz y 45 a Wien Hauptbahnhof. Es cómodo, limpio y practico el apartamento. La Zona es tranquila y de gente trabajadora

Tolle Unterkunft ;)

Mein Aufenthalt im Appartments Ferchergasse war durchwegs positiv.

Bereits die persönliche Begrüssung, Erläuterung und Erklärung von Christian war grossartig.

Ich hatte das Studio 6 war ideal für mich. Ausgestattet mit einem runden Arbeitstisch, zwei Lederstühle, grosser Schrank und vollständig ausgestatteter Küche. Der TV Bildschirm war etwas klein, aber wer schaut schon TV, wenn er nach Wien kommt... :)

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die tollen Matratzen, hart und sehr bequem :)

Auch bekam ich beim Einchecken eine tolle Erklärung wo sich was befindet und wie ich am Besten mit den OEV's von A nach B komme.

Preis/Leistung ist aus meiner Sicht hervorragend.

Ich kann diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

En behagelig leil for en kort periode. Hadde lukt som en gammel bygning, men det var ikke ubehagelig. Var synd at det var ikke air conditioner, siden det var en varme bølge mens vi var der, men viftene hjalp noe. Leil var i en god område med butikker og god transport muligheter.
