The room was great, we were in the other entrance on the 1st floor. The sound proofing for the bar next door was good, but the stairs are very loud and squicky. Heard multiple room coming in. If you want a quite room do not pick this one. Once it was over, all was very quite. Love the bed and service

The room had no natural sunlight. The windows opened onto a walkway and internal courtyard so having the curtains open wasn’t private and even then, barely any light came into the room. The wardrobe was in the bathroom and unless you are 7ft tall, you had to jump (or in my case climb), to reach the hangers. No extractor fan. Not enough power outlets. Cups didn’t fit under coffee machine (too tall). Kettle power cord was too short to reach an outlet.
Bed was comfy and breakfast was available but average. Staff were lovely but you were left to it with now information on anything in the hotel. It would have been ok for a short stay but we were there for 9 and the lack of natural light was less than ideal.

Great staff. We felt very welcome. Hotel is very nice, good size room, great matress, and very cleaned. My only complaint is that the bathroom had a sewer smell, probably coming from the drains. Every time we open the bathroom door we could smell it. Other than that we had a great stay. We arrived late and tired so we didn’t complain. We let the staff know during checkout. I hope they can look into it.

My biggest complaint with this hotel is that they claim to have \"Soundproof\" rooms and they are anything but. There is an open air bar 2 doors down that has a DJ and the music sounds like it is in the hotel. They moved me from one room to another and the second one was worse due to balconies facing the street side where the bar is. They finally did put me in a somewhat quiet room at the back of the hotel for the last 3 nights. The hotel is cute and the staff is nice but I'm a light sleeper and I specifically booked it because it was falsely advertised as having soundproof rooms. If you have no problem with constant noise then you would probably enjoy this place.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Prim. The location of our junior suite was a little strange- as it was not part of the main building and on the bottom floor of a building next door (want to say it was room 15, but could be wrong). There was half eaten candy in our room when we arrived, which was a bit off putting bc I like everything super clean- but other than that- the room was great. We got some tapas at the rooftop restaurant which weren't very good. Honestly, save yourself money and get street tacos instead. On the last day, the front desk allowed us a late check out as I had a migraine and needed to sleep it off. That was very much appreciated! Overall, we really liked the location as we could walk or take a quick/cheap uber to wherever we were going. The historic center was way to chaotic and crowded for us, so this was a nice, quiet safe location to come back to. I'd likely come back and make sure to reserve a junior sweet in the main building.

Room was very small and dark; no chairs or outside windows. I was billed for a \"junior suite\" yet the room I stayed in is shown on the website as a \"standard\" room. There was no clock or electrical outlets by the bed, so if you wanted to check your phone you have to get up and walk to the bathroom. The in-room safe didn't work (they eventually brought in a replacement). Very few staff spoke English so I had to us an app to communicate. They failed to restock coffee supplies despite my asking (and even then, no creamer). I wasn't a fan of the restaurant - very slow and very loud music. They changed the sheets *maybe* once in the 5 nights I stayed. I ended up not staying the full week that I had booked.

We stayed at Casa Prim for a business trip but would 100% return for a vacation. The hotel is in a great location and the staff is wonderful.

We were extremely tired from our business travels and they offered to buy us bath bombs at my favorite store since I was allergic to theirs.

The beds were amazingly comfortable.

We ended up liking the hotel so much we added a night to our stay to get a good nights rest.

The only negative comment was the restaurant. We went for dinner but there was only 1 chef and 1 waiter. It’s leased out so not technically a part of the hotel. The food wasn’t the best and over salted. Due to the short staff it took two hours for 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. For the price you can find much better in CDMX. The view and asthetic was nice and would recommend having drinks there.

Very unique boutique hotel. Unfortunately the furniture in the rooms is a bit worn. The house keeping staff are oddly reluctantly to fill the shampoo and body wash containers in the showers. We stayed here twice on our visit in 2 different rooms and both were the same. Recommend trying to get a 3rd floor room as it gets a bit dark in the lower levels.

We walked to the Zócalo and the Mercado off of Balderas.

only Uber'd from the airport, and to and from Foro Sol during our stay!

We spent our short 4 day stay walking along the neighborhood. We found a few dinner, late night and brunch spots nearby.

The desserts, especially the handmade icecream at the hotel rooftop bar made for a great nightcap!

Sundays, things around the neighborhood are either closed or open later.
It was good that we checked out on Sunday and headed to the airport by checkout time, it worked out!

The design of the hotel is very nice and it has a good location. My only complaint is that my room was directly on the ground level facing the street and also the doors of the room are basically in the lobby. You can hear any visitors coming in and out of the hotel from these rooms and you can hear all of the noise outside on the street. It's not very peaceful in that regard.

I loved this hotel! We stayed for 3 nights in May 2023. We had never been to Mexico City before, but so glad we went and got to experience it. We wanted to stay around Roma Norte area. The service at the hotel was excellent, and the hotel was so pretty. I was staying by myself in a room, and as a female I felt safe while staying there. All staff was very friendly and attentive. One person in particular stood out. His name was Francisco. He made us feel at home, his English speaking skills were amazing, and he even recommended certain places to get food and how/where to use the bus. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable and welcome!

I asked for a quiet room but I’m not sure this exists at this hotel. We spent 5 nights in a room off to the side of the building. Every time people went up and down the stairs it was very, very loud. Also the noise from the next door cafe kept us from napping in the afternoon from the noise. On Friday and Saturday the rooftop bar added to the noise at night. Due to this I would not return here. Yes the bed is comfortable but what’s the point if you can’t sleep? I would add that on the first day we hard large, luxurious towels. On our 3rd day we left them on the floor to be changed. After our long day out we returned to find no towels. The front desk said no more towels until tomorrow. He did however, after me begging, bring us 2 small towels which were never replaced again for the original luxurious version. Spend your money elsewhere.

Stay Here! It’s better than anything you’ll find!

Stayed here for the week of my wedding along with 80% of my guests and Wow!!!! The staff and hotel was amazing. Roberto (cleaning supervisor) went above and beyond to make sure every single one of us was taken care of. Emmanuel (doorman) even went to get me medicine when I got sick!! Truly felt like I was home and getting take care of by family. I won’t be staying anywhere else when I visit Mexico City, which is at least once a year. The chef was also incredibly accommodating and made me special meals when my stomach could no longer handle the street tacos and endless mezcal.

Great boutique hotel for CDMX escape, its walking distance to a lot of trendy areas but just outside enough to be a good value. The rooms are small but functional, good size bathroom and shower. Very friendly staff and and \"on prem\" coffee shop that is legit.

Casa Prim is an A hotel. It’s perfectly located in Juarez with very close walking distance to the surrounding boroughs, but you don’t have to walk too far to find amazing restaurants and speakeasy bars.

The restaurant on-site is highly recommend. The chef is top quality and he’s always on-site to greet you. The bar also serves great cocktails and have talented bartenders to make cocktails per request. In addition The restaurant is on the rooftop of the hotel so it A very nice ambience.

The staff were amazing every day. Our room was located on the first floor and we didn’t hear any commotion or disturbance during our stay. The concierge team were very knowledgeable on tours and things to do in the neighborhood. Although they don’t have a spot on site, they can make accommodations for a masseuse to come to your room.

No Suite, just very small rooms they call suites.

I am always looking for nice boutique hotel and the pictures of Casa Prim looked very nice. But here are the problems, the area is nasty, 1 nice restaurant and lots and lots of shops selling tires. Garbage everywhere and homeless people making sleeping shelters. Also, if you describe the room as a “suite” we imaging a certain size, when you call it a “master suite” I would imagine something spectacular. My Master Suite was tiny, the add says 300 sq ft but since 40% is bathroom your left with a 10 x 10 room. The bed barely fit. No desk, no chair, nowhere to work, in my opinion the name is completely deceiving. Sadly I prepaid but decided I couldn’t do what I needed so left and lost 1 night I had paid for. The restaurant is hit and miss, I had breakfast and it was ok, dinner however was a different story, the started was brilliant but my steak was inedible and had to be sent back. I was not offered and vip benefits at all, for me this was a total waste of time and money. The room is NOT a suite it’s a very small normal room, that’s it !

No matter what I say, Casa Prim Hotel is a hidden gem of Mexico city. 5 stars service from hotel staff and comfort of room is like an air of Oasis. Room comes with all features needed, HDTV, WiFi, light control, etc. Continental breakfast surpass my expectation. I have stayed at many 5 stars hotel and this hotel truly stands out in many ways. Elegant, well designed hotel.

Hotel is small with about 10 rooms that are brand new and very elegant. There is a bar and restaurant on the roof of the hotel where all meals are served. Breakfast is included, and is usually fresh fruit, a pastry and tea/coffee. If you want to eat more the breakfast options are all under $10USD. The beds are quite large and comfortable as well- not too firm and not too soft. I believe they give you the option to change pillows if you like. I have stayed at the hotel twice now and will definitely come back. Hotel is probably best for couples, business travelers, and solo travelers.

Nice little hotel

Everything is fine except their breakfast that lacks variety and is not good for someone who is avoiding sweet and sugary stuff. They could charge little bit more and offer better breakfast.
Otherwise, the premises is very clean with modern renovation and very well taken care of.
Fernando was very helpful.

Delightful boutique hotel

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Prim- it's a beautiful new boutique hotel in a very convenient location, close to the historic district. The staff was all very friendly, and very patient with my less-than-stellar Spanish. The rooms all open to a central courtyard, so there was a little noise as there was a bit of construction going on. Also the wifi seemed to be hit and miss, but perhaps that's typical for the area. Overall I had a very pleasant stay- should I come back to Mexico City I would definitely stay here again!

Good stay

The bed was super comfortable. The only bad thing was the noise as it appears that they are constructing more rooms. Noise from street was not a problem.
