Black mold in the bathroom, ceiling tiles buldging and falling apart. The front desk agent at night was passed out when I went for assistance due to noise at 1am and two people sleeping in their car outside of my room. Left a day early due and was told I would be refunded(video evidence) The hair dryer cord was pieced together, wasn't going to risk trying it. I recommend going anywhere else.

This is the MOST DISGUSTING place I’ve ever seen in my entire life! I can’t even believe Expedia offers this rat trap as an option for lodging on their website. It is INFESTED with roaches. Had to wait about 20 minutes at check-in for someone to unlock the front door, even during normal hours. The staff was kind once they arrived, but the property itself was disappointing. Photos online are misleading—it’s in poor condition and needs serious maintenance. My room was “clean” but very worn down: holes in the ceiling, cracked floors and walls, a hissing toilet from a slow leak, and even a small roach on the nightstand.

That said, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked great, and the location can’t be beat—less than 100 yards from the Air Force Base gate. It’s fine for a solo traveler on a budget, but I definitely wouldn’t bring family here.

We got there and nothing was working… ceilings and walls rotting….. We had to change three rooms before finally getting one with all the stuff it was supposed to have and actually cleaned… gap under enterance door which caused the second night of no sleep for me and my kids because cockroaches crawled and and up the wall…and it was so nasty we decided to sleep in the rental car…. Never again will I stay at another one of these OYO “Hotels” again…… they need to change the name to roach Motel…. Not even close to a hotel…….no water in the pool…. No free breakfast like it said….. And the pictures on the site are really old or they stole photos from another place… absolutely disgusting….

The bare minimum

Just needed a shower and sleep for golf game next day. That’s what I got after I switched rooms. The first room shower head would barely work. The pool and hot tub were empty and no breakfast was available other than coffee. I booked this room for hot tub and breakfast and got neither. Area shady, loud music, doors open people hanging out. The price was low for a reason. You get what you pay for…..

Avoid this place like the plague.

I ended up NOT staying because this place is a disgusting disease incubator with sh!tty air conditioning, assuming your room has one and not a gaping hole in the wall where one USED to be (first room they tried to put me in) or one that blows hot air like a blow dryer (second one) or a door that opens after 4 key cards (third one, and last straw).

I wouldn't offer this place up for one night to a homeless man.

Well tris is the worst hotel experience is my life so disappointed first I feel discriminated because I couldn’t even stay at the hotel because we forgot my husbands wallet, we drove 5 hours and I wasn’t going to go back and get it, I had mine I don’t see why there was a problem for them to check us in when I had mine and I read the policy and it says that I just needed to have a id and a credit card plus the deposit which I had that, I didn’t get my money back and I feel that is not fair that even though I couldn’t stay there I didn’t get to get my money back, never staying in one of y’all’s hotels any more and I’m going to share this experience so they know y’all are

There was nothing to like about this hotel.
It was dirty, ceiling tiles were stained and falling, no refrigerator, air conditioner didn't work, continental breakfast area was disgusting, pool was a mud puddle. The gray paint of the building was depressing. Our reservation requested 1 king size bed, they did not have any. This facility was dangerous and unsafe. We did not stay there. Shame on Expedia for such deceiving photos of the hotel!

Good Low Cost Motel by the Military Base

My son was graduating at the military base and this motel was perfect for my needs. The base entrance is only a hundred feet or so from the motel. There's food an stores walking distance from the motel.

The room definitely needs a remodel (to be expected at the price), but is was clean and the beds are very comfortable. All the staff I interacted with was very friendly and attentive.

This hotel was exactly what we needed it for. A place to sleep, shower and rest. This is not a luxury hotel where you want to sit and hang for hours, its the most basic place. They are doing renovations so some of the hotel things are rough. Doors sticking, shower heads not connected. I communicated with the front office and everything was fixed asap. We did book a king room, and they didnt have any so when we checked in got into a double, they moved us quickly to a queen/double but be aware you need to communicate if something is wrong. Also tjere was a weird 50$ cash deposit due at check in.....not a deal breaker but weird.

The room would be what one would expect; however, the location is at one if the gates leading into Lackland AFB which makes it very difficult making a lefthand turn back onto the road as everyone is stopped at the entrance onto the base.

As for staff, they violated a rule regarding service animals as they demanded to see my dog’s certification. Additionally, the STILL charged me a $50 deposit for the dog and wanted cash. THEN upon check out, I was asked it I had smoked in the room before refunding my $50 and I do not smoke. It’s an older motel and extremely convenient if on has a son or daughter graduating basic training ceremonies or visiting military family members. It is also walking distance to HEB which has an excellent deli selection as well as anything else you may need. The room served it’s purpose; however, I won’t rebook.

We liked the affordable rates and that it was close to everything we needed. We didn't like the noise from other people through the walls at night, lots of slamming doors, cursing and yelling. We didn't like that the place seems to be falling apart.. it just needs a little TLC. Cracks in the ceiling and walls, paint scrapped off doors and walls, overhead vent in bathroom falling down, big gap under front door that let heat in and cool air out. Just needs a bit more work.

Conveniently located near a shopping center. The staff are friendly and helpful.
To be frank, the facilities cannot hide their age. The door didn't open unless I pushed it with a lot of force, and at first I thought the lock was broken and wouldn't open. The floor was corrugated and the electrical outlet was burnt and misshapen. I didn't have any complaints because the cost of accommodation was cheap, but my wife was a little disappointed.
Personally, I like that there are many friendly cats in the neighborhood.

Stayed there because it’s pet friendly then they charge extra so paid it get in the room and place isn’t good at all I kept killing roaches I am praying I didn’t bring them home or on my dogs. Place was 3 world living so bad toilet shakes when you sit on it. Rats scratched on the walls the ceiling could fall threw. Holes in the corners for bugs that place is so so bad and I want a refund horrible deplorable conditions god I pray for this place to shut down people should not have too stay in this nasty place. So sad paid like 180 for 2 nights then 60 extras for my dogs and it was broken inside infestation of roaches so bad! So gross

You get what you ask for, especially for the price. Though it’s still isn’t a reason for the condition in which the rooms are for others. Towels were stained, doors looked like they were on its last lifeline, stained tubs, and the amount of roaches that come out during the night is atrocious. Had to go buy my own towel and roach spray to give myself the piece of mind and to be able to sleep at night. Staff was great but due to the conditions of the rooms, I won’t be coming back here.

1. My PrePaid PreBooked Room was no longer available.
2. My substitute room had a ceiling vent hanging from the ceiling, wiring exposed.
3. The Roof leaked badly
4. Parking lot had potholes and abandoned vehicles in it.
5. My toilet backed up I had to fix it myself. No staff available.
6. My door was not very secure and had a large space between it and the floor. I used the deadbolt and chain to feel safe.

The best thing about this property is it's proximity to the base. I was able to spend the maximum amount of time with my Son.

I'd traveled from PA to TX and was too tired to even care about the room I was offered. I just wanted shelter and rest. Considering that this hotel is closest and most convenient for Servicemen and their families, I am truly shocked at the conditions there.

I'm hoping the owner will make whatever improvements are necessary. It looks to have been very nice at one time.

I'm not one who would leave a review. I just never patronize again. But I feel as though, I couldn't let this one go. Our Servicemen deserve better and so does anyone else spending their hard earned money.

All the other reviews are spot on . A barber works out a room here. A few cars broke down behind the building. Dirty parking lot with holes. Pool was fine but hot tub was off and dirty . Room stunk of mold because you could see it on the ceiling tiles. Didn't see any roaches till last day of my two night stay . It was small one in the sink. The lady at the counter was nice and helpful. I'd skip this place next time.
