The room was great, very spacious, the attached bathroom was lovely as well.
The only issues we had really was some marks on the walls, limescale on the shower head, and the lift broke on our last day, but that can't be helped really. All in all it was a wonderful stay and the staff were very friendly, i just would have liked the room to be a bit more deep cleaned.

Close to the airport but in the outskirts of Amsterdam. Public transport outside the hotel which takes around 15 mins on the bus to get to Amsterdam Centraal. Quiet area for a decent night sleep.

Room was clean albeit a bit basic, beds very comfortable, staff on reception super helpful.

Good Hidden Gem in Amsterdam

The hotel was conveniently located adjacent to the De Vlugtlaan metro station, providing access to Amsterdam city centre and other attractions such as the Rijksmuseum in as little as 30 minutes. The neighborhood in which it is located is very walkable, with shops and grocery stores within 5-10 minutes walk. The hotel has modern facilities and is reasonably priced. I picked one of the most budget-friendly options, which was a room without windows. Despite it being next to the elevator, I found the room to be quiet and suitable for my needs. The interior design of the room could be improved, as placement of coat hooks and plugs were not ideal. Despite that, I found there to be a good amount of space for my time at the hotel. Wifi was also very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a breakfast for a fee but I opted to explore the city's restaurants instead. The complimentary fresh fruit and coffee at the hotel were much appreciated.

Be aware that you have to be 23 to check in at this hotel, something that isn't mentioned when booking (only in the fine print). We were able to fix this issue despite both being 21 however, it caused unnecessary stress.

It's a decent option if you're on a budget but while we were it was obvious there it's dressed up to be a lot better than it is. The cleanliness and general upkeep of the facilities was poor.

P.S if you're scared of lifts, this definitely isn't the place for you. The lift was terrifyingly old.

Stayed at this hotel for The Dutch Grand Prix. It’s right next to a Metro station which is one stop away from Sloterdijk station where I could easily access trains to the race. Trains from Sloterdijk were also one stop from Amsterdam Centraal so you were never too far from the city centre.

Aside from that travel convenience, the room was good. Small but clean. Daily cleaning was good. Customer service at reception was very good and friendly. The process of checking in and out was nice and simple. WiFi was a bit dodgy and would disconnect sometimes, that’s the only real negative for me. It’s a nice option

Never again.
The manager was hot-headed and aggressive!
The breakfast was a mess with unripe fruits, cheap discount bread, no pastries and the toaster did no work.

Our room was dirty, had a broken window and a leftover sock.

The had one decent girl in the reception all other staff was stressed out and behaved like kids.

I feel kind of bad leaving this review, but there is many great hotels in Amsterdam NOT the new kit.

Good hotel for short trip

The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. The room was big enough for a short trip with a family but shaped in an unusual (child-unfriendly) way. It was nice to have parking in a paid garage but cumbersome to carry all luggage the long way from the car/garage to the room. The breakfast was expensive with very limited choice and bread/rolls needed to be ordered. There is public transport in front of the hotel but it takes 30-60 minutes to get to the centre.

Right next to the metro station so convenient to get into the city although this is a 20/30 minute journey. Also only a short journey from the airport.

Nice location next to the river with some benches outside.

The hotel was right beside the metro (1 ride away from central station) and just opposite the tram stop. The room was clean, the linens and towels are crisp. There’s free coffee in the room and at the dining area. The only issue I found is that the bed was too firm and it wasn’t very comfortable. On my second night I did ask the hotel staff for an extra pillow and he forgot - which I understand. It’s normal to forget things sometimes and he immediately gave me one when I reminded him again. All in all it was a pleasant stay. If I ever travel back here I will choose this hotel again.

Functional with good transport links

A functional hotel with good transport links to the city. Not much to do in the local area, with limited restaurants but the tram is right next door and fairly quick to get into the city. The rooms have fairly thin walls and reverberations could be felt in the headboard when doors closed in other rooms. The staff were not very helpful, but for the most part polite. The bed was two singles pushed together that pull apart during the night, when asked to tie them together the staff said it was not possible. If you miss the 10am cut off for breakfast, even by 3 minutes, expect a cold shoulder, and not even some orange juice. Coffee is available at any time though.

We stayed for three days. The room was clean, comfortable, but quite small with no room for clothes or luggage. I would not recommend for more than one night. The breakfast was vastly overpriced and not very good. We would not recommend the breakfast for the price. The first night there was a loud car parade with cars honking and driving back and forth for many hours starting at midnight. The other two nights were quiet. The hotel is next door to a transit station but not in an area that is pleasant for walking. We did walk to a much nicer area that was about 1.5 miles away. We did not find the desk staff helpful.

1. Received the wrong information regarding the bus number we had to take to Amsterdam Central Station. Also, the wrong metro number. What????
2. Used a cup of coffee first day. We expected it would be cleaned or changed next day by the cleaning personnel.
3. I am alergic to gluten. I bought a breakfast ticket, but when I asked the man at the cafeteria, asked for gluten free bread, he told me GLUTEN FREE BREAD is too expensive, so that is why you do not offer it. That is not a right answer.

Alright.

This hotel Is about 30 minute walk from Sloterdijk station, and this is why we picked it, As we were going onto a festival. It’s located in a large grey building in quite an inauspicious road. I wouldn’t recommend it as a holiday destination., But it seems like quite a good deal when I booked it. However, once I booked, I realise that it was a room without a window, so I had to contact the hotel and request a room with the window. When we arrived, I discussed this again and had to pay extra, and I also paid extra for a late checkout (which is very normal I know).

The room itself was fine – quite small, but very clean and everything we needed. The bed was quite uncomfortable and was too single beds pushed together rather than the double that I thought I was getting. The Window that I had paid €30 for didn’t actually open, so rather be the point of requesting it in my view.

Welcome from the reception wasn’t really very welcome. It was a Fairly cool acknowledgement, which was more like you’d expect if you’d arrived in a newsagents to buy a paper rather than arriving in a Hotel to be honest.

Overall though – I’d say that would be my overwhelming comment – not somewhere for tourist going on a holiday but perfectly serviceable for business men or people passing through as long as they didn’t mind the dry air conditioning and lack of Window!

You can hear this from your room so if you're easily disturbed I wouldn't recommend however we had no issue. Very warm welcome, polite and courteous staff who answered all questions about hotel and the city. Very easy to find our room and very accessible building. The shower in the room was excellent as well as the heater and AC which was ver responsive. On our check out day due to a transport issue returning to the hotel we missed our check out time. However after a quick message, we were given time to return and collect our belongings and sort out the room before leaving, rather than having to collect our items and luggage from a storage room. For that we are very thankful. All in all a great place to stay for a short city break and will book again if we visit the lovely city of Amsterdam again. 10/10 ps best bowl of mints ever

A/c filter was really dirty unit struggling to take in air and refrigerant noise abit loud but can’t be helped, they need a service team in place

Bed is the worse bed iv ever slept on, felt like a prison bed and pillows are in the same pit.

The hotel is basic no hot food for breakfast,no bar in hotel rooms are very small with most having no windows. Rooms were very noisy and you could hear everything in the corridor and the next room also.We asked for a double bed and were given two single beds pushed together and two single duvets. After the first night the changed us to a double bed and even the two single duvet were on the bed.The hotel is a bit too far outside of the main city centre but there is a bus, tram, and metro outside the door but it takes 20 minutes to get to town.
