Great spot for families with kids. Very walkable and there is a grocery store across the street if you prefer more grab and go or making your own meals. The metro train is a short walk to get into central town.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great.

This hotel was fun! The staff was great. They have a huge lobby which was nice to sit in the evenings. Everyone was so friendly. The breakfast was great. Everyone really made us feel like home away from
Home. Appreciated the laundry room. Only one complaint. There was no TV service which was unfortunate because there was a day we day we had to stay at the hotel all day due to rain so we did get a little bored. But I think that was just due to an internet issue as there were signs in the elevators indicating so. Also very close to the train station and Jumbos so we could save some money on food. Oh and we loved the art in the rooms!!!!! I shared some photos.

We really enjoyed our stay at Amsterdam ID Aparthotel. It was exactly what we needed for our group of 3 and loved having 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. The location was convenient for us and we were glad to have the grocery store close by. Our only compliant was that there wasn't much counter space in the bathroom-it could really benefit from a shelf or stand, but, other than that, all was great! There's not much in terms of restaurants but that was only a small downside.

We read the excellent reviews and were not disappointed. We had a 2-bed apartment with our kids 14 & 12. We didn't quite know where Sloterdijk was (!) but it's convenient to everywhere, the train is 5 mins max away, there's a Jumbo foodmarket 2 mins away that stocks everything you need, there's a park behind if you need outdoor gym stuff...

The staff are just amazing, nothing is too much - particularly at Reception but equally in Bar 51 where we ate a few times.

We all came away thinking this place is the choice we could have made for a city break. It's not a luxury hotel but you could have breakfast etc. It is a little utilitarian but the beds (as everyone wrote) are really comfy, the basics in tea and coffee are in the room, the gym is well stocked, the games room was loved by our son. For us, on a 2-night stay, it was perfect.

Hi! I really liked the room and the hotel. The room was clean and I think that the most important thing when you are staying in a place. I will give 5 stars. The employees at the front desk really nice, always saying Hi, smiling. The breakfast was really good too!!! I dont have any complaints. The only things I will recomend to you, and its the only thing I wanted is the window that is at the living room, you can put a blackout Curtain like the rooms because when the Sun gets Inside at the afternoon is a little complicated to watch tv. So if you that would be perfect because if you want Sun you open the curtains and when u dont want it you close it. The rest you got 5 stars of 5 stars!!!! Congratulations!!! 😊🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My wife and I stayed at Amsterdam ID Aparthotel for 4 nights in May 2026 and honestly couldn’t have picked a better place.

The first thing that stood out was the staff. We travel quite a bit and can genuinely say these were some of the friendliest hotel staff we’ve ever come across. Everyone was welcoming, chatty, helpful and just naturally pleasant without it ever feeling forced. It made such a difference and gave the hotel a really relaxed atmosphere from the moment we checked in.

We booked an Executive Studio and were surprised by how big it was. It felt much more like a proper apartment than a hotel room. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, and having a separate bedroom made it feel even more spacious. After long days walking around Amsterdam, coming back there in the evening felt perfect.
The room had everything we could need, a kitchen, dining area, lounge with a TV, modern bathroom and loads of space to relax. It was ideal having the kitchen for breakfasts and drinks instead of needing to eat out constantly. Everything was very clean and modern without feeling cold or clinical like some aparthotels can.
The location worked really well too. Being close to the station meant getting into central Amsterdam was quick and easy, but being able to escape the crowds and noise at the end of the day was actually a huge bonus.
What made the stay so good overall was just how comfortable and easy everything felt. There was genuinely nothing to complain about.

We stayed here for our 4 night trip & it was the perfect location to explore the centre of Amsterdam. There is a transport hub less than 10 mins away where u can take train, metro, bus or tram.
The rooms were very clean & the apartment we chose had a bedroom with separatel lounge, a dining table & small full kitchen. The kitchen was sufficient for us for making breakfast & simple meals. The bathroom was huge with a walk in shower, though it wasnt that strong. There are a couple of restaurants & large supermarket within walking distance which was ok for us.
We were able to check out slightly later & they had luggage storage facilities.
I would recommend staying here & would stay again for our next visit.

We arrived late into the evening and were met by the nicest reception staff. They were really attentive and very helpful. Getting to the room it was basically brand new with how clean it was. More than enough utensils and plates needed for my trip. The property was quiet and lots of amenities available on site but also less than a five minute walk from a major public transportation hub (also a short journey time into centre) multiple supermarkets that are open until late and a big fridge to store them in. Bed was really comfy and wash room stocked with enough to last longer than we were staying. Would happily stay again

Also, you can’t cast to the TV which was a shame as the only English channels we could find were the news. Really convenient for the train station and beds very very comfortable!

The almost entire stay was perfect !! Was nit able to utilize the tv only
Dutch language was operating.. & with a busy 16 year old it was alittle difficult.. we did have assistance from the front deck staff but they too couldn’t get it to function. And maybe some English language instruction sheets would have helped with both using the coffee maker & the laundry machines.. otherwise I would highly recommend the location front desk staff was 5 star for sure !!

Both check in and out were very easy. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant on site was very good. The laundry took a little getting used to but 6 euros to wash and dry /load was reasonable especially since the 4 sets of washers/dryers have the detergent already in them. We had a 2 bedroom unit. Beds were comfy. Coffee and tea was complementary in the room. The hotel had a pool table and foosball table in the lobby and they offered umbrellas if you needed them. If you buy the I-Amsterdam pass transport is just a few blocks away to the #22 bus or the #19 tram. The metro, which would have been faster, was an additional add-on to the pass. The bus or tram took about 25 minutes to get in and out of the city center. There’s also a mini market steps away from the bus station with great prices on take away food, drinks and staples for the room fridge. We had a great stay and would totally recommend staying here.

Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment. Beds are comfortable slept very well. Bedrooms no seating or desk area. Suitcase rack only in 1 room. No headboard on beds never seen that before dusty walls so cannot sit up and relax in bed to watch TV what I like to do on holiday. No TV in bedrooms. Shower not powerful or very hot.
Good stay if you want basic and functional without added luxury.

+ Excellent staff. Very good size of room with large windows. Comfortable couch, Good dinner table & chairs, Soft and comfortable matress. Very usable kitchen. Great to be able to open so many windows to refresh the room. Good lights.

= Despite me requesting a room without noise, I got one where the ventilation made a fierce noise and the electric switch field - unfortunately in the bed room - made a humming noise. Staff fixed the 1st immediately, I fixed the 2nd.

= TV didn't work, most of the channels without reception or freezing. I didn't mind as as I didn't need the TV, hence I didn't report it to the reception.

- Cover for matress was too small. Every morning I woke up with my body being in direct contact with the matress. The cover in the duvet did not fit the size of the duvet cover (on the sides about 40cm smaller), the duvet seemed to be a winter duvet, too hot for the summer. The duvet cover alone was too thin. It was not so easy to find the sweet spot. I didn't ask the reception to fix it.

-- During my stay, the painting in the corridors of the 2nd floor was redone even though it didn't seem to be so necessary. Many seams in my shower had black marks. It seems plenty of dirt/fungus that eat itself into the seam over the years. Given the high prices in summer, I'd suggest to use some of those funds to renew the seams in the rooms which are affected by the same.

We lived the location. Close to a transport hub and only 20 minutes away from the centre.
Reception and staff were absolutely lovely. Very welcoming and helpful.
Room was ok, beds very uncomfortable with poor pillows and fitted sheets should be considered. Some of the plates were not clean which really should have been checked prior to new guests arriving. Overall though pleasant enough stay.

We had a two bed apartment which was very clean and the kitchen area was great for quick snacks/breakfast. The kids loved the games area. All in all a great place and would stay again next time in Amsterdam with the family.

I enjoy staying here primarily because of the super friendly and helpful staff and great location. The location is an easy walk to Sloterdijk station—which is a hub to get most anywhere in Amsterdam easily. The apartments are well-equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals, reliable wifi, and good sized shower. I would highly recommend staying here and I will continue to come back on my frequent returns to A’dam.

My only negative would be the thin curtains in the living room. These are not blackout curtains nor are there any blinds to keep the sun or heat out during the winter. Also doesn’t feel very private at night either. But this is a minor issue that wouldn’t stop me from staying here again.

I continue to stay here over and over again primarily because of the super friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in room 704 this time. I appreciate how responsive staff is when I made a request for a spare blanket. The location is an easy 5-min walk to Sloterdijk station. I like being able to get my own extra towels, when needed. I also enjoy the smart TV in most apartments.

For this particular unit, I would not want to stay there again solely because the smart TVs aren’t updated. The living room TV does not offer Netflix as an app on the Google Play store or for casting, while the bedroom TV does not connect to wifi or internet at all. I could barely get regular channels in the NL to show and that TV would turn off sporadically as well—like the wires were loose or the TV would lose power or signal. Also, the living room curtain does not keep out any light (or heat from sun). Blinds (like in the bathroom) or blackout curtains (like in the bedroom) would be nice.

This is a great property. Having multiple rooms and bathrooms was amazing. The kitchen was well appointed. The staff was so kind!

Five stars all around only one thing. We booked through Expedia and it was posted as free breakfast and this was not the case. We were then informed we would be charged a few Euros more as we did not make a reservation?
