The suite (2 bedroom) was super comfortable, especially with kids. It was great having to seperate bedrooms, dining, and living room spaces. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect, with a short 5-6 min train ride to Amsterdam Central. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Amsterdam.

A fantastic hotel, staff are friendly and helpful and our studio suite was excellent. Our suite was quiet, spotless and the kitchenette was well appointed. Free use of the laundry was appreciated and tge games rooms and lounging areas were terrific. We stayed 4 nights and I couldn’t have been happier with the decision - excellent value for money and convenient to the trains, trams and buses to anywhere in the city or beyond.

Your staff are lovely and very welcoming! Breakfast was excellent as well. The room was perfect for what I needed, but I had requested a king bed, but had twin single beds pushed together. Also, the bed was incredibly soft so struggled sleeping!

We had a two bedroom apartment and it was perfect for two friends who also want their own space. Reception staff always friendly. A toaster would have been nice in the apartment. Also, you can’t cast to the TV which was a shame as the only English channels we could find were the news. Really convenient for the train station and beds very very comfortable!

The almost entire stay was perfect !! Was nit able to utilize the tv only
Dutch language was operating.. & with a busy 16 year old it was alittle difficult.. we did have assistance from the front deck staff but they too couldn’t get it to function. And maybe some English language instruction sheets would have helped with both using the coffee maker & the laundry machines.. otherwise I would highly recommend the location front desk staff was 5 star for sure !!

Great little apartment stay

Both check in and out were very easy. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant on site was very good. The laundry took a little getting used to but 6 euros to wash and dry /load was reasonable especially since the 4 sets of washers/dryers have the detergent already in them. We had a 2 bedroom unit. Beds were comfy. Coffee and tea was complementary in the room. The hotel had a pool table and foosball table in the lobby and they offered umbrellas if you needed them. If you buy the I-Amsterdam pass transport is just a few blocks away to the #22 bus or the #19 tram. The metro, which would have been faster, was an additional add-on to the pass. The bus or tram took about 25 minutes to get in and out of the city center. There’s also a mini market steps away from the bus station with great prices on take away food, drinks and staples for the room fridge. We had a great stay and would totally recommend staying here.

Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment. Beds are comfortable slept very well. Bedrooms no seating or desk area. Suitcase rack only in 1 room. No headboard on beds never seen that before dusty walls so cannot sit up and relax in bed to watch TV what I like to do on holiday. No TV in bedrooms. Shower not powerful or very hot.
Good stay if you want basic and functional without added luxury.

We did a three week Eurotrip staying in five different hotels. ID APARTHOTEL was by far our favorite. Friendly staff, spacious rooms, and just steps from Sloterdijk station. Will definitely stay again for our next trip to Amsterdam!

+ Excellent staff. Very good size of room with large windows. Comfortable couch, Good dinner table & chairs, Soft and comfortable matress. Very usable kitchen. Great to be able to open so many windows to refresh the room. Good lights.

= Despite me requesting a room without noise, I got one where the ventilation made a fierce noise and the electric switch field - unfortunately in the bed room - made a humming noise. Staff fixed the 1st immediately, I fixed the 2nd.

= TV didn't work, most of the channels without reception or freezing. I didn't mind as as I didn't need the TV, hence I didn't report it to the reception.

- Cover for matress was too small. Every morning I woke up with my body being in direct contact with the matress. The cover in the duvet did not fit the size of the duvet cover (on the sides about 40cm smaller), the duvet seemed to be a winter duvet, too hot for the summer. The duvet cover alone was too thin. It was not so easy to find the sweet spot. I didn't ask the reception to fix it.

-- During my stay, the painting in the corridors of the 2nd floor was redone even though it didn't seem to be so necessary. Many seams in my shower had black marks. It seems plenty of dirt/fungus that eat itself into the seam over the years. Given the high prices in summer, I'd suggest to use some of those funds to renew the seams in the rooms which are affected by the same.

We lived the location. Close to a transport hub and only 20 minutes away from the centre.
Reception and staff were absolutely lovely. Very welcoming and helpful.
Room was ok, beds very uncomfortable with poor pillows and fitted sheets should be considered. Some of the plates were not clean which really should have been checked prior to new guests arriving. Overall though pleasant enough stay.

Hotel was excellent for our family of four. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good for out of the main centre but a short train or tram ride into central Amsterdam. We had a two bed apartment which was very clean and the kitchen area was great for quick snacks/breakfast. The kids loved the games area. All in all a great place and would stay again next time in Amsterdam with the family.

I enjoy staying here primarily because of the super friendly and helpful staff and great location. The location is an easy walk to Sloterdijk station—which is a hub to get most anywhere in Amsterdam easily. The apartments are well-equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals, reliable wifi, and good sized shower. I would highly recommend staying here and I will continue to come back on my frequent returns to A’dam.

My only negative would be the thin curtains in the living room. These are not blackout curtains nor are there any blinds to keep the sun or heat out during the winter. Also doesn’t feel very private at night either. But this is a minor issue that wouldn’t stop me from staying here again.

I continue to stay here over and over again primarily because of the super friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in room 704 this time. I appreciate how responsive staff is when I made a request for a spare blanket. The location is an easy 5-min walk to Sloterdijk station. I like being able to get my own extra towels, when needed. I also enjoy the smart TV in most apartments.

For this particular unit, I would not want to stay there again solely because the smart TVs aren’t updated. The living room TV does not offer Netflix as an app on the Google Play store or for casting, while the bedroom TV does not connect to wifi or internet at all. I could barely get regular channels in the NL to show and that TV would turn off sporadically as well—like the wires were loose or the TV would lose power or signal. Also, the living room curtain does not keep out any light (or heat from sun). Blinds (like in the bathroom) or blackout curtains (like in the bedroom) would be nice.

Good family apartments

Stayed with two kids in a perfect 2-bedroom apartment. Located close to Sloterdijk station it was easy to get in and out Amsterdam (and Zandvoort for a relaxed afternoon on the beach). We highly recommended to rent bikes - either at the hotel or bike sharing at the train station.
Only downside were the cushions- too high and to stiff.

Great hotel

I stayed here for five nights while enjoying Amsterdam. It was really nice, clean, good wifi and right near the station. One stop into Central and closer to the airport! My room was lovely with a smart tv, a kitchen and a comfy bed. The staff were also nice. I will stay here again next time in Amsterdam! They have a gym and sauna I didn't use though.

Rooms were fine and very convenient for transportation. I was happy to have laundry machines available. The front desk staff were nice. The breakfast room was very average. The types of foods were okay but the staff mainly ignored the customers unless they were young professionals there for meetings. I had to ask 2 days in a row if they could plug the toaster in (it wasn't accessible for me to do so). The food ran out quickly and they were generally not in a hurry to replenish. Not sure we would stay there again, more due to the lack of dining in that area.

Made transfer from Schiphol super easy and for reaching Centraal station. Good pizza and drinks at the restaurant. Had everything we needed for our short stay in Amsterdam. Easy transfer to centraal

Excellent stay, staff were really friendly. Whole building was very clean and felt secure with door passes required through out. Can see the train station from the hotel so transfer to city centre was easy. This was a big apartment for the area and we felt that we had lots of space.

It was a good stay; however i’m a bit disappointed for 2 reasons:

1. I requested for late check-out and was willing to pay the extra fee a few months in advance, and they’re ok with it and told me I can just inform them again during check-in. But then when i checked in, they said late check-out is not possible because there’s already other reservation. I understand this but they should have informed me in advance because I’ve raised the request way way in advance.

2. In the end, we’re allowed to stay & check-out by 12pm (instead of normal 11am). However by 11am, they’ve turned off hot water, so I couldn’t shower in the room. Luckily, they still allow me to shower in their sauna room. Good gesture but why must turn off hot water at first place??

Such a wonderful place to stay, only one stop away from Amsterdam Central by train, a very short walk to the train station. Uber is also a good option for quick access to the museum district. We got upgraded to a one bedroom apartment with full kitchen and 2 very spacious bathrooms. The size of the apartment is amazing, and decor is so lovely. The staffs are great and very helpful.
