Staff very friendly. Penthouse apartment had amazing views. Whole apartment spotlessly clean and included toiletries and a very well thought out kitchen welcome pack. Kitchen well equipped. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Easy to get in and out of centre via tram or bus from roads immediately adjacent to hotel. Would highly recommend.

The property is a 20-30 minute bus ride from downtown. Facility was as described although I found lighting a bit of a problem in the kitchen area, The Laundry was small with only 3 washers and 2 dryers so a bit of a wait to use that and we had to pay extra to check in early. Overall good space, clean, friendly staff. Would recommend.

They are apartment style rooms which are ideal for families. The staff were very accommodating and helpful and the restaurant downstairs was great!

This is a very clean and updated hotel. They have laundry but it is on the lowest floor and is in high. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The dining was reasonable and great food. Very close to the a main bus line.

We arrived to Amsterdam from Copenhagen and noticed how much dirtier Amsterdam is. More graffiti and trash lining the streets. The area we stayed was overall cleaner and tidier than the other areas we walked. While there is lots of green spaces, city garbage bins are full and spilling out.

We had a wonderful family stay! Easy check in, wonderful helpful & welcoming staff after a long flight / jet lag from Canada! Welcome mini Stroopwafels was nice for my kids.

Staff are all knowledgeable, well trained and knew all the answers to all my questions.

Rooms are exactly as they look in pictures. Very clean, spotless - you can’t find a speckle of dust if you try. Luggage storage was very convenient too.

Comfy queen size bed and comfy pull out sofa bed. High pillows, clean linens and bedding. Air Conditioning works well, which is the main reason we choose this hotel for a hot summer stay!

Kitchen was equipped with everything you need to cook a full meal should you choose to. Albert Heijn 5 min walk.

Laundry facilities has full size washers and dryers, comes with detergent.

Location is convenient and easy to get into Amsterdam Central with various routes / times. There is a little parkette in the front for kids to burn some energy.

Breakfast was very filling and comes with a lot. Would stay again! Thanks Cityden Bolo Den staff for a wonderful easy safe stay!

Happy with our stay

Had a great stay at this hotel. It's about a 20 minute bus to the centre so factor this in. Lovely cafe Villy round the corner and plenty of supermarkets. Open plan was a bit tricky and room could do with some TLC, sofa very uncomfortable and in need of repair and some nice cushions. Some parts of decor looking tired and worn.

I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing I would change for my family’s comfort is to get 3 beds for a family of 6, instead of 2 beds plus a pull out couch. The place is comfortable, but at night or in the morning just before going out / sightseeing, it can get a bit crowded. Otherwise it’s close to transportation and the restaurant downstairs is a great place for breakfast or dinner. Menu has good variety and the cook is wonderful!

We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The room was clean when we arrived, but there was no daily cleaning service. When we asked for cleaning, they rudely said rooms are only cleaned every 8 days. The reception staff were extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Basic amenities like coffee and Tea, which should be included daily, were only provided on the first day
after that, you had to buy everything at unreasonable prices. Not worth the money at all.

Located west of Amsterdam city center, this apartment hotel offers clean, spacious, and well-equipped rooms. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful, and the location is excellent, with tram and bus stops just a few minutes’ walk away (50 meters). There are also supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance.
I have provided more detailed comments about the room below.

Room: Spacious room, clean, small kitchen well equipped (kettle, Nespresso capsel machine, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, plates and glasses for 4 people, even boiler and so on.) We didn't use most of it because of our short stay, but it was all working. Smart TV (with Netflix, Youtube, Prime video all ready to use), big sofa that can be unfolded and turned into a bed for 2 people. A table for 4 people. The only thing was that there was no rug on the floor in the very feeling of the room, it would have been nicer if there was, because it was cold otherwise. Secondly, the central ventilation in the room did not give hot air even at max temperature (24 degrees), on the contrary it was cool. Especially at night we had to turn it off to avoid the cold. On our last night we even had to use the extra blankets in the room. I don't know if this is really a problem or normal for Amsterdam, because in our previous hotel the air conditioning was only cold.

Walkability: Tram and bus stop is a 2 minute walk away. Bus 21 takes 20 minutes to the Central station and Tram 7 takes 15-20 minutes to citycenter.

Ancak maalesef hijyen açısından bazı standartlar olmalı. İki kez kaldık, ilkinde çok kötü, kirli bir odaya denk geldik.

İkinci kalışımız ise oldukça temiz bir odaydı.

Bu odalar haftada bir kez temizleniyor ve burası bir apart otel. Biz ilk gittiğimizde kaldığımız odada herşey özellikle yatak çarşafları, yastıkları ve örtüleri gayet temizdi. Ancak salondaki oturma gruplarının üzerinde lekeler vardı. Bir çok kişinin burayı gayet hoyratça kullandığı ve bu mobilyaların temizlenmediği belliydi.

Zaten bunların temizlenmesinin çok güç olduğunun da farkındayım. Ama evet, insan biraz tedirgin oluyor hijyen açısından.

Buna karşılık ikinci kaldığımız oda (aynı oda grubu ama farklı bir kat) çok daha temiz ve hijyenik görünüyordu. Mobilyalarda tek bir leke dahi yoktu. En ufak bir toz emaresine bile rastlamadık. Yani sanırım biraz da şans meselesi.

Sizden önce kimin kaldığı, nasıl davrandığına bağlı odanın durumu. Bunu biraz yadırgadım doğrusu, bir standardizasyon sağlanamaması hayal kırıklığı yarattı bende. Bir işletmenin her odasının aynı standartta olması gerekir diye düşünüyorum.

Odaların özellikle de hijyenik şartları standart olmalı.. Bu şansa bırakılamaz.

I loved everything about this hotel, from the location, to its night staff.
In a pinch, their night shift crew (Chris) was so kind and offered to get me flowers for my 21 anniversary, I mean who does that anymore?
Love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone who is ok to stay out of Amsterdam Center.

We are a family of 6 adults including 2 elderly parents. Sleeping was very important to us during this family trip. The room is spacious with large dining table with 8 chairs, open kitchen space, bedding, pillows, and sheets are soft and comfy. It is conveniently located to grocery store “Dirk”
Dirk has everything our family needs. We didn’t have to eat out at all. All cooking and eating was done inside our unit. The greenery and the small long river next to the property was a plus.
It took us about 15 minutes Uber to explore the Amsterdam Red Light District.
The only minor negative thing is, one light switch turns on/off the whole unit. Since the hallway bedrooms have no doors, this bothered the sleepers in the hallway bedrooms, particularly the one closest to the kitchen when someone needed a midnight snack. The kitchen and that one hallway bedroom should have their own light switches.

This was a great spot for our family of 4. It was nice to have the kitchen and there is a Dirk’s Market just a couple blocks away for supplies. My only complaint is that the elevator is in a vestibule and the door loudly banged closed at all hours of the night. Best fix is to ask for a room not close to the elevators.

The nearby supermarket was conveniently located and had most of what we needed. Uber Eats for groceries and meals was also cheap and easy. Only complaints were about the mattress toppers sliding around and the weird square pillows on the bed.

I've just returned from 3 nights at Cityden Bolo District. I was there with my wife and 3 children under 10. We stayed in the 2 bed apartment XL. Apartment was spacious and beds were large and comfortable (large double, 2 singles and a double sofa bed). The XL apartment also had 2 great showers! There's a tram and bus stop very close to the hotel (Bos en Lommerplein) which is 15 minutes from the city centre on tram 7. The hotel is also only one bus stop away from Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station so it's easy to get back to the airport (train is about 15 minutes) and other connections. The apartment had a dishwasher and a nespresso coffee machine. There are several supermarkets nearby for supplies. We had an enjoyable family stay and would absolutely stay again.

It was a good to have an apartment and it was clean and everything worked well in the bathrooms and the kitchen, the view was lovely and it was quiet so nice to have so that the family could stay together, but it was a very strange layout with the bedrooms not having doors and being beds off a corridor which meant no privacy at all very bizarre layout.
The staff were good but short on the ground, usually a wait to sort anything out at reception. The food in the restaurant/cafe on site was excellent and nice places to eat nearby. The lifts were a real problem only 2 and took ages at the best of times then in the morning being taken up by the cleaners for hours and being kept stopped at floors it took more than 20 mins to get up or down and with a pram we didn't have a choice.
Location was good and easy to walk or tram everywhere we needed.
Good but could be so much better with some basic changes.

This was a great place to stay. The restaurant was great. We had breakfast and dinner most days at the restaurant. It was nice that it was there and after a busy day of sightseeing, we could go downstairs and have drinks and dinner. The reception staff was also great. We were able to get our subway/tram tickets at the hotel.

Didn't know what to expect as really was a last minute booking. Very pleasantly suprised by the accommodation and the way the room was fitted out - kettle, coffe maker, fridge, dishwasher, oven/microwave with all the necessary crockery and pots. Although a bit further out than I thought, the tram stop was about a one minute walk and only three stops down the line to get connection to tram for Centraal Station. i would certainly recommend this hotel and I would go back again.

Das Appartment war sauber, grosszügig und schön. Das Ausziehsofa ist etwas durchgelegen. Zur Autobahn hin ist der Verkehrslärm leider hörbar. Nicht funktional ist die gesamte Lichtinstallation, insbesondere für ein Viererzimmer nur ein Gesamtschalter ist absurd. Das Licht im Bad ist eine Katastrophe zum Schminken. Preis Leistung insgesamt aber gut!
