The breakfast and restaurant are excellent and very tasty, and the Skybar is a nice spot. However, the overall experience doesn't justify a 9.2 rating. The lobby smelled strongly of cannabis upon arrival, and the decor feels like an outdated 'Dubai style'. The pool and sauna areas are quite old and don't match the official photos, plus there was an unpleasant smell in the changing rooms. It is a decent average hotel, but far from 'Wonderful

I was very disappointment the spa massage was not done properly the lady hand his not srtong.the service i received do not worth the money i paid...and i paid for deep tissue.i did not receive a therapeutis firm pressure.its was wasting my money..

Room was lovely. Very spacious. They accommodated my request for twin beds. The hotel was a 25min tram ride for Amsterdam Central. Only let down, I have no response back from the hotel on when my reading glasses will be sent to me, as I left them in the room. 😩☹️

Super nice room, cleaned it everyday even though we didn’t ask which was great. Little disappointed in the gym equipment, wasn’t much there and most of it was old and rusted. But the sauna and swimming pool was great.

Staff were super polite and pretty knowledgeable about the local amenities too.

Stayed here multiple times, good size rooms. Easy to get into the centre via tram. Rooms are clean, staff are helpful.
Pool area is lovely however would be nice if there were more loungers. Good choice of food at breakfast.

Overall decent stay, lovely staff.
Main downside for me was the toilet being separate to the bathroom, does not have a bidet or a sink. Had to fill up water bottles to use as a bidet - please accommodate to Muslim people or people who use water to clean their backside.
Also,the bathroom and shower door is clear glass so whoever you travel with will see you naked.

Amazing stay, staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms quiet, sound proof and blackout curtains, comfortable and great nights sleep, great spa especially the sauna (need to be naked, can have a towel) little Dutch sweets you can help yourself to at reception. Safe location about 6-10min walk to metro/tram. Highly recommend thank you

My daughter and I had a lovely 3 night stay , the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing, the only issue we had was the room hadn’t been dusted and the clear door into the shower , however I would book this hotel again as it was so convenient for getting to airport and into the centre of Amsterdam

The tv did not work the entire stay even after they tried to fix it twice. They only offered me free drinks to make up for this but I am don’t drink and so don’t a lot of people so this was kind of in bad taste. The beds are super hard and not comfortable. Not a good investment for the money.

The staff were so friendly & accommodating. The hotel itself was clean & spacious & our room was comfy and a great size for 2 with multiple storage units.

We had a garden view, I didn’t feel like there was much to see, but it gave us good natural lighting.

The location is a bit out of the way - about 25 minutes from the centre, but that wasn’t an issue as it has good transport links nearby.

Great hotel and great staff except for one who ruins it for the bunch. I don’t like that you charge 5 euro for the wellness area. Nowhere on Expedia does it say that. Gilles and Miranda in the morning at the restaurant were absolutely THE BEST!!!!

Now for why I rated you terrible. Had an issue with Wholle. The Gentleman and I say it loosely has very low emotional intelligence and is by far the weakest link in your superb staff. Even when I tried to explain my situation to him he was extremely unprofessional. Quite the opposite I received from the rest of your pleasant people on my stay. I would not come back to this hotel simply on having to deal with this worker and his egregious behavior. He is a liability to your establishment as a whole. Even when I asked his name (to write this review) and I tried to spell it the English version of W-A-L-L-Y. He says “naw that’s not it I think it’s bit too complicated for you”. Fine, no problem when I checked out I got the correct spelling from his colleague so I can write this review. Without WHOLLE you would have gotten a 5 star wonderful review. Since this is the only recourse I have for bad workers/Hotels, then that’s what it will be.

My husband and I stayed here for 9 nights. Helpful, friendly staff. Fantastic buffet breakfast! Spacious room with kettle, fridge & coffee maker. Shower & deep bathtub. Half hour walk to the museum district.
Perfect base from which we explored Amsterdam. Highly recommend!!

Loved our stay at this hotel. We were greeted by extremely friendly and helpful reception staff - and a complimentary glass of prosecco. The rooms were clean, bright, well-equipped and comfortable. Just beware that the door to the shower/bathroom is clear glass! Luckily the toilet is behind a wooden door!
The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice and variety, and extremely fresh - delicious.
It was in a good location, just a 10-15 minute walk from the train to Schipol, and a 6 minute walk to the tram with two lines taking you to the centre in around 10 minutes. Being a little out of town meant that we were able to have a much nicer hotel, and it was very easy to navigate around. It was also a nice walk through Vondelpark to Museum Square.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Fantastic hotel that we have stayed at many times before. Easy to get to from the airport, just a short train journey to Leylelaan and then about a 10 min walk. From the hotel to leidesplein or centraal station it’s a 10-20 mins tram journey. You get the lovely peace and quiet but can still explore Amsterdam and retreat to your hotel for rest at night.

Great breakfast options available and the pool is a big plus point.

Amazing stay as always. This is the only hotel I stay at when I am in Amsterdam.

The staff are always amazing and always tend to your needs no matter how small.

I arrived earlier than check in time but luckily a room was ready. It wasn't a room I am used to so I asked to be moved and this was done immediately. I was very grateful.

Always have a pleasant stay, the room is always clean, staff always amazing and I find it to be easily accessible to the centre with the tram.

We had a tricky start to our stay, as the doors to the shower room were see through, the bed area was directly opposite & I was travelling with my 15 year old son. We did mention to the staff & they kindly moved us to another room where the doors were frosted & no longer directly where you sit & offered us complimentary breakfast.
They were very polite & helpful. Would absolutely visit again. The beds are also like a bed from home for us, and I haven’t found comfort like that anywhere whilst travelling.

Lovely staff. Quiet area. If you’re looking to be near to city centre, there a nearer Westcord hotel- good if you have issues walking long distances. Can reach everywhere with Uber though or tram. There is a tram but difficult to find how to physically get to the right start/stop. Would advise uber over taxi. Hotel rents bikes. Nice food and clothes. Very friendly staff.

Room was okay. Wasn’t hoovered properly though day to day and as still dirt on floor. Didn’t get sauna because you had to be naked!!!!???!!!!! Swimming pool was full non stop so couldn’t use that to actually swim either, these were the main two things booked hotel for. Close to airport and hour walk from dam central so was good location. Restraunt was DELICIOUS!!! And very affordable.

Stayed for two nights and couldn't fault it for comfort and cleanliness. We didn't stay for breakfast so cant comment on food but had drinks in bar and found everthing to a high standard. Great internet access in rooms. One thing to change would be the time to check we waited a long time even though second in queue and the waited and waited while paperwork and issue of card key was iss, not good when you are tired from long day traveling.

I stayed at three different 4 star hotels in Amsterdam, WestCord Fashion was by far the best hotel out of the three I stayed.
Staff amazing, hotel grounds, interior and facilities excellent.
Although, located outside the city centre it is very easy to access by a 20 min Tram ride and honestly the Tram rides to and from the hotel was great to see residential Amsterdam.

We really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking. We had the superior double room and it was spacious and well laid out. Separate toilet and bathroom, and lots of natural light with big windows. The bed was comfortable and we had our own AC so were able to adjust when needed. The staff were extremely helpful. We used both trains and trams to get into the centre city which were a very short walk away.

Absolutely outstanding property!! The service was impeccable and accomodations far surpassed my expectations. I also got a massage in the Wellness Spa that was excellent! It's in a bit of a restaurant desert and the lack of competition shows in the restaurant and SKYY bar.

We had a lovely stay. Much nicer than the pictures showed, very clean and modern, and always felt safe. Very convenient, about 5-7 mins walking to catch the tram which was about 15 mins to city center or 30 mins to outlying neighborhoods. We ate the buffet breakfast 1 morning and it was delicious. The only suggestion I have is that it would have been nice to have apps available on the TV so we could login to Netflix, or even access the tv guide to find movies. We got an uber a few times and it was easy too. There weren’t any restaurants or supermarkets close by but we knew that beforehand.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price

Stayed at WestCord Fashion Hotel and was very disappointed. The first room was dirty with flies, so we had to request a change. The second room had poor WiFi, wasn't cleaned properly, and the sink was blocked. For the price paid, I expected much better. Would not stay again.
