The unique Hotel The July - Twenty Eight offers a hotel/apartment concept with spacious, comfortable design apartments combined with the service and facilities of a luxury hotel. Featuring a sauna and fitness facilities.
Guests can make use of the underground garage. All apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a spacious seating area and a luxurious bathroom equipped with a rain shower.

1. Sauna needs to be booked, we had no idea and just walked in. Maybe tell visitors about this. Usually Nordic hotels have a free to use sauna, just walk in.
2. Bikes, we reserved in advance but turned out the keys were lost and tires were broken... ruined our sunday waiting for an hour. Please check night before.
3. Room was cleaned one day, not cleaned the 2nd day. Would be nice to have the bed made.

Great hotel - we were two couples with a 2BR apartment, which was perfect. Public transport out the front, great restaurant 1min away (Meni?), and the staff were superb at every step of the process.

This is such a great property for families. We loved the space and the amenities available, and the friendliness of the staff. We stayed for 5 nights and had a mix of having meals out and preparing food in the kitchen. The kitchen and the bathroom were very well stocked so we needn’t have brought extra. The laundry room on the 3rd floor was a nice to have as well. We didn’t get round to using the gym or the sauna. The location of the hotel was good, with bus and tram stops nearby, and the metro (to Centraal Station) about 8 min walk away. There are restaurants and cafes nearby: Da Vinci ice cream was excellent, as was the Vlaamsch Broodhuys bakery. I can’t wait to visit Amsterdam again, and when I do I’ll be staying here.

Nice hotel with friendly staff, but not good value for the money. There's no restaurant. The breakfast is super basic (you won't even find scrambled eggs). Worst of all the hotel has thermostat capped at 23 degrees Celsius and the staff can't do anything about it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the staff were really attentive and the amenities at the hotel were brilliant. Gym and sauna were of a great standard. We travelled with our 10 month old and the staff were great with him, providing a high chair and cot for the room. We usually stay at the Hoxton but will be switching to the July going forwards. Also super easy to get to from the airport on the 397 bus.

I did find it a little bit cold and the AC would not adjust. Very comfortable bed and it was so quiet - having a quiet room is important for me and this was perfect. The hotel is a little out of the action but the bus/tram stop is right out the front. I also walked into the city because I liked looking around the neighbourhood. There are a few little cafe’s and a supermarket close by. This is a great hotel, highly recommended.

We booked this hotel after our connecting flight home was cancelled. The room, services, and staff exceeded our expectations with the size and comfort of the suite rooms, the amenities provided, the selections for breakfast and comfort of dining area, and the helpfulness, friendliness, and professionalism of the staff. We managed an earlier flight home than initially expected, and the staff modified our account quickly and efficiently. The hotel is within 5 miles of the airport, and a ride to the city center was about 25 minutes. A grocery store was on the other end of the block and had everything we needed.

This hotel is the best I’ve stayed at in all my years of European travel. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment hotel for our family of four. The apartment was so gorgeous and well equipped I could have moved in permanently. It’s a 30 second walk to the tram or bus that takes you into Amsterdam within 7 minutes. We also picked up the bus and went straight to the airport from here. There is a grocery store right on the corner and the best gelato place right out the front door in the square. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They gave our kids little bear stuffies, apple juice and always asked if we were well when we walked in from a long day in the city. I highly recommend this place, especially for families.

Large rooms, however, there is no reception area, no restaurant, breakfast is served in the hallway, children were treated as adult guests and we must have paid additional fee because and additional bed was offered, which in the end we didn’t use. The policy ,where other hotels have that a child can share parents bed , does not exist, parents should be prepared to pay for an additional bed for the child.

Such friendly welcoming staff and we were offered a free drink in the bar on arrival. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Super comfy bed. The kitchen area was equipped with everything you need and more! To be honest we didn’t use half of it as only there for a 2 night stay! Everything was so clean and well thought out - we particularly loved the bathroom with its huge walk in stylishly tiled shower. Lovely location with a small artisan market on its doorstep where you can pick up pastries, coffee and many other delights! Few bars and restaurants too. Bus and tram right outside hotel for easy access into the centre of Amsterdam and only a 20 min bus ride back to the airport. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Amsterdam-such a great city!

The set-up of the studio is nice, creating a mini apartment. The only suggestion would be to offer some hanging space for clothes. But that was very minor.

Wonderful hotel in the middle of a square that had several restaurants and bars. The room was probably the most spacious we’ve had in Europe with the largest bathrooms and showers. Easy check-in’s, English TV stations, around multiple items of interest, along with bikes to rent to get to places faster. A grocery store was right next to the hotel for items to stock also. The kids thought it was the best hotel we’ve been too. We will stay again next time we visit Amsterdam.

The location is great, on a direct bus route to the airport and a direct tram ride into town and the central station. A supermarket right around the corner and a lovely self serve bar in reception. Across the street was the famous \"I AM STERDAM\" sign, which draws quite a few photo takers. The room is well laid out with lots of storage space. It's quiet, and very easy to live in. Fantastic hotel, the staff couldn't be nicer! I work in the travel industry so I get around a lot and I have given the hotel 5/5. It was my wedding anniversary and the hotel kindly sent us a gift and card, lovely touch! Tram 24 takes you downtown in 10 mins bus 397 stops outside for the airport 6 .5 euros 1 way. Local restaurants nice neighborhood feel and a quality supermarket 200 yards away. We will definitely stay again and will recommend to my customers.
