We almost drove ourselves crazy in designing our vision of the perfect hotel room: beautiful, sustainably built, affordable and the comfiest room in the city. It might not be what you expect, which is a good thing in our opinion, but it is an oasis to return to after a day of work or a sensory adventure overload, and we are pretty sure it will surprise and delight in all the right ways.
With a stay at Qbic Hotel Amsterdam WTC in Amsterdam (Amsterdam South), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Rijksmuseum and Leidseplein. This hotel is 0.7 mi (1.1 km) from RAI Exhibition and Congress Centre and 1.6 mi (2.5 km) from Van Gogh Museum.

Very good hotel, room was quite basic and there was a fan that kept coming on that we couldn’t turn off. Everything was very clean, staff and facilities excellent.

Hotel for business trips near the WTC Zuid Station. Simple, clean rooms, ideal for one person. Very close to the Zuid AMS train station. 15 minutes from Centraal Station AMS. This location isn't ideal if you're on vacation plan. The hotel needs some maintenance; it looks shabby.

Extremely friendly staff - will definitely stay there again. There is a lot of construction going on in the area around right now - but that should be done soon. Very convenient across from the train station - but not directly across... safe, secure, and a functionally designed room + a good working desk with a normal chair. They need to show the desk better in the photo... the Motel One on the other side of the Ra has a comfortable stool with no back and a very small desk. I hope we are there for the week next year vs. just an overage day. Both places very nice / good staff... but Qbic wins for a brighter, better energy room and a desk you can more comfortably work at... just having a normal chair to sit in while working makes a huge difference.

Hotel is by WTC, so parking is expensive €34 for 24 hours (discounted from €75). It’s near Amsterdam Zuid train station therefore is handy if you want to travel around by trains. It is not recommended to stay here if you are planning to walk to old town (at least 1hr each way).

we had a one night stay in transit home from Athens; picked this location as it is super convenient to train from Airport to Zuik station where you can also take Metro to city centre; hotel is clean, quiet and our room was very spacious and comfortable; also really liked the free, fresh coffee offered at the lobby. The only reason I did not give a 5 star is that the room can use a few shelves and/or hooks where we can put our belongings; not a big deal with just an over-night but if we were to stay longer, this would present an inconvenience. Otherwise very good value for a very good night's rest.

Coveneint hotel for the Amsterdam Zuid transport options. Large room and bed for Amsterdam, but as with many the windows do not open so reliant on the a/c which was not so efficient for cooling the room which was stuffy/smelly and difficult to cool down as the rooms facing the front get full sunlight and heat up. This property was in an excellent location - it's right next to the metro which is just minutes away from the Centraal station. It's significantly cheaper than staying around Centraal and very convenient for getting quickly to the nearby airport. I received an upgrade to my room at no extra cost.

I've stayed at the QBIC before for IBC at the RAI but I don't expect to be back.
There's a lot to like, it's conveniently located for the RAI, easy to get to on the train, metro and tram, breakfast is ok and the wifi works well and the water pressure is good.
However, the thermostat in my room would not get the air below 24 degrees all trip, despite it being 18 or under outside. I checked with the front desk (who were lovely) and it was correctly set to try to get to 20, but it stayed crazy warm. I was given a fan, but the experience was bad and my sleep suffered a lot as a result.. and ultimately that is what matters.

A minor issue - we had a few issues with keys not working causing extra trips back to reception.
Breakfast seemed expensive for what was there and we’re glad we didn’t take this option, especially as there were takeaway food places very near the hotel at the station.
The free coffee at reception was great and there were takeaway cups if needed.
Overall highly recommended and we’ll definitely be staying there again next time we’re in Amsterdam 👍

Needed to book a hotel close to Schipol after my flight was cancelled. This is a quirky hotel and would not suit everyone. The bathroom is in a unit which is also part of the bed. My room had no windows which I did not like. This hotel is ok for a short stay but perhaps not for 3/4 nights. Excellent transport links and a good selection of restaurants nearby.

A short trip to do some flat viewing in Amstelveen. The rooms were generously sized for the price, clean, modern and there were tons of great things near by, from Wagamama to Albert Heijns and lots of little cafes and restaurants. Amsterdam South is a stones throw away. Highly recommended!

This place was easy to find and close to the train system. We went straight there from the airport and it was a short walk from the train stop to Qbic. The washroom does not have a door and the room ventilation is not powerful. My partner and I utilized the public toilets availble in the elevator area of each floor.

My room, a suite was ok, but given what i paid for, i expected a proper mattress and king bed not 2 x single super thin mattress toppers with a double sheet across them... The shower is ok.. In reality, its a great hostel/young traveller place but its not a 4 star hotel.. by any stretch.. Lino bathroom floors, some rooms dont even have natural light.. reat thing tho is that its next to the train and metro station so for that its great. they hand out ear plugs at reception...not an issue for me but would be for others.

a minimalist style of hotel where we were made very welcome. All the staff were friendly and cheerful and incredibly helpful with information and advice. The buffet breakfast was not extensive but the quality was excellent and we were very happy with what was provided. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel but there are a good few within the immediate vicinity.
Located right beside Amsterdam Zuid station we were able to get into the centre of the city in about 15 minutes on the Metro and trains were very frequent.

Very convenient for ITO which is why I booked it, but the bed was too firm - I was there for 4 nights and didn’t get a really good nights sleep in any of them.
Breakfast was nice, good selection, typically continental with some hot options thrown in.

Good hotel and good location if you need to be in the business are of amsterdam. Conveniently located near public transport if you want to explore the rest of the city. Only complaint is the temperature in the room. As the hotel is in the WTC and is basically a converted office the ac/heating in the room is centrally controlled and you can not change the temp in the room yourself. Also the windows can not be opened if you need some fresh air.

The Hotel has a great location now that the new subway line has opened. Although at the WTC it was really quiet. No disturbances at all. The room was clean and absolutely adequate for a one night stay. Parking was easy though not cheap, but it is a capital centre. What do you expect
