The restaurant has quiet a small menu but that just saves time when ordering, I liked the fact that they have an open kitchen so we can see them chefs working hard. The lobby area seemed small because at our time of staying like everyone else it was because we were stranded because of the bad
weather and no flights out of Schiphol so everyone was just hanging.
We booked the hot tub for an hour, totally recommend it, very relaxing it's just a shame that people don't clean their mess up after themselves.
The hotel is set in a nice area and only a 20 minute tram ride to town.

We really liked the hotel. Rooms were clean and the lobby had a good vibe

The location is a bit far from central and there were not a lot of options nearby for dining. The metro and tram were about a 5-10 min walk so it was easy to get around but not the most convenient. Bikes were available for 20 euros a day which seemed a bit expensive since our other hotel offered them for free but it was a good option for getting around.

Very disappointing stay due to poor cleanliness. During my 7-night stay, the room was never properly cleaned and the bedsheets were not changed even once. On one occasion, the cleaning staff used my toilet and left it dirty, which is unacceptable. Basic hygiene standards were not met. I would not recommend this hotel.

We were an hour late for checkout, and the staff was rude and charged us anyway. The bathroom was very small, especially if you’re traveling with a baby. The breakfast was fine, but overall, due to the rude and aggressive staff, we wouldn’t recommend this place.

The third leg of the bed was broken. They over charged me by approx 20€ for the night. When I mentioned this they instead gave me breakfast instead of money back.
With vip, i got a few basic drink at the bar, nothing special.

The room was so clean , with a nice city view. The room service was awful. Our phone was not working since the first day i had to go to the reception for anything i need , the safe was not working they kept saying sorry we will fix it and they didn’t they didn’t even send anything to say sorry. Unfortunately i will not go back to this hotel .

I was running the Amsterdam Marathon and this hotel is literally over the road from the start/ finish line. They had a 5am breakfast on race day too, and while I had to pay for a late checkout it was the perfect location. Staff were extremely friendly too

I had good experience and service in this hotel in the past. So, I returned to it and received the same good quality as before. Hotel is a walkable distance to AMS zuid and metro line that makes it very easy to connect to airport and downtown.

Definitively, I will book this place again!

The room itself is clean and location is great if you don't like to stay in the city.

However I find the hot tub really dirty and it also smelled unpleasant. There is also no changing room really(unless I couldn't locate it).

The room has no proper cups just paper cups which in my opinion is not the nicest experience. We also selected superior room with double bed but it's just two single bed pushed together. I normally wouldn't mind in other hotels because they would have connected it somehow at the base or using the bed sheet. This is not the case here so the beds keep moving and separating in the middle.

Room service is also not pleasant. Price wise is way overpriced for dumplings that I'm 99% sure is the frozen gyoza you got from Asian store. Burger is ok. They also didn't bother giving proper utensils.

Check in was good, breakfast nice, room was okay, how ever the cleaning has some improvement to do.
Window had loads of finger prints, the kettle need a decalc. Bathroom had 4 small towels, and fungus on the edges of the tiles.
In the closet pillow was stuffed and just didn’t look clean, it didn’t look properly inspected.. our previous 2 bookings where 5/5, this one was a bit less just due cleaning, and a somewhat lackluster check out. Just a bye, not any question if everything was okay/alright, how was our stay?
Late co wasn’t available due property occupancy, which is understandable, still one of the best options in Amsterdam.

Terrible experience. I was celebrating my daughter’s birthday and I had arrived early. The hotel will not allow you to check in early. Which dampened all of plans and events that followed. Everything about this property is Just Right! Vey close to airport, but easy to get to center via public transportation. Breakfast was perfect with fresh juices, fruits, proteins, pastries. Coffee machine in room (I need it alway appreciate good coffee at my stays with time change US/Europe). Biggest surprise was a dinner at the Hotel restaurant! Nothing average! Glass of seasonal draft beer after long flight and cheesecake with fresh (like just from garden) fruits- a home run! Thank you for everything!

The staff are lovely, (yet their knowledge of the surrounding area poor) The location worked out perfectly for us. However the restaurant is so over priced. The dinner menu was limited, food was cold, and absolutely not worth the money. Again though the staff are lovely. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and I wholeheartedly recommend researching them. Along with this the breakfast price is ridiculous, and not amenable if your child only wants a bread roll..
The pillows in the room are awful, (please please change them), all 3 of us had either neck or back pains the following day. The tv didn’t work. Not sure when the staff clean the rooms but seemed to come in and out much much later in the day/evening. Being in a family room I’d have thought this might have been seen to in the morning or afternoon. Not at 6.30-7pm?

Get rid of the pillows!!

I loved everything about this hotel, the food, the drinks, the service, the decor, the view - everything except for the ridiculous over-stuffed pillows on the bed. I just couldn’t get comfortable with their oversized shape. Get rid of the pillows and the hotel would be perfect.

The Olympic hotel is stunning. From the moment you walk in, it’s stunning. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room has a beautiful view of the city in the distance. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Our rooms were serviced everyday, even on the weekend. We booked a breakfast which was delicious. Transport was a short walk to the trams and the train station was not to far away.

We stayed 3 nights and participated in the Amsterdam Marathon. The dinner on Saturday was well below our expectations with a completely frozen apple pie as low light. The free drink we got did not make up for that and the fact that three different servers continuously mixed up our order. The room was outdated and parking a bit far away. If you run the Amsterdam Marathon the location is golden - for anything else there are many better options around.
