All as good as any other, with the exception of the shower.
It is mounted to the ceiling which makes it very hard to direct the water anywhere except the top of your head.
To make it even less useful, there is very little water pressure. Very unsatisfactory shower.

There was no tv reception in the room due to a very cheap antenna being installed on the roof. This was also said to me by other guests. The down pipes outside the front and rear of the rooms was only 1 meter down from the roof and the rainwater flowed to the front door of our rooms. The rooms have been renovated nicely since my last visit.

Great location, rooms were spacious and clean.
Entire car was parked undercover. Staff were courteous whenever I was speaking to them. Only 2 things I was disappointed in. The little fridge and no area to freeze esky bricks, needed when transporting medications. The shower head was to high for vertically challenged persons, perhaps a hand held shower head could be adapted to fit with the rain head shower.
Will stay again as I was happy with everything otherwise. Thank you

Food was very good. Staff very good. 4 Drink vouchers given at check in was very good but when we went to use was not redeemable in Poker machine bar and both main bar and restaurant bar were closed.
My opinion should have been able to use in all bars. Trap for young players.

Clean Comfortable Friendly

Clean, comfortable, secure carparking, delicious meals within the complex. Extremely comfortable bed. Friendly helpful staff.
The building is a little dated but the room we were in had been refurbished. Will definitely stay again.
The bathroom and toilet space could be a problem for a bigger build person or someone with mobility issues as the area is a bit tight.

The room was very clean though it smelt like an indoor pool! Chlorine filled the room. It disappeared not long after I turned the a/c on.
Very noisy till 1:30am on a Sunday morning!
I’m not quite sure if I can recommend this place!
If cheap is what you’re after, book in!

Dalrymple has the best beds in Australia.
The only negative whoever designed the really nice rooms needed to put more thought in wardrobe space there is hardly anything and absolutely no drawer space also those light shades hang far to low kept hitting our heads.

Close to the airport but behind a bar. The receptionist was in the bar & had to go around the buildings at 11 pm whereas the receptionist walked through the building. He had to call someone to check me in & did not provide breakfast pack or water. Had to go around the buildings to get water at night from the bar. Room interior was clean.

We were just after somewhere to sleep while we were driving a huge distance. The bed was comfy, the shower had amazing water pressure, the staff were lovely. It wouldn't be somewhere I would stay if I were holidaying the area as I would prefer a resort style accommodation for that but this was absolutely perfect for what we needed on this trip. Cheap, convenient accommodation!

Very roomy with nice soft beds staff were friendly however the fridge kept waking us up with strange noises and also because of the outside lights the curtains needed to be more blockout also possibly a microwave in the room would be great as the restaurant had awesome pizza but couldn’t reheat it for breakfast in the morning 😢

The room was very big with a lovely soft king size bed and a single bed as well, and even though the v8s were on in town the room rate didn't change making it excellent value. When in townsville we usually stay at the Mercure but from now on it will be the dalrymple😍

Booked this property for its proximity to a customer as on a business trip. At first we were unsure about the property as it was dark and quiet when we arrived at 11pm. After a nervous wait for service we were pleasantly surprised that rooms were clean and decent despite being an old looking somewhat shabby property from the outside. Furthermore on checking out the cleaning staff were very helpful and provided us with a breakfast on the run pack .

Bathroom a bit tired, renovation work visible. However good water pressure. Would be nice to have face towels. Would also be good to have a toaster.
Good aspects, plenty of parking, would be good to have all entry area as a sealed road, would look more aesthetically inviting other than being an industrial work area. However handy to city.
