Upon my second stay there, my bed springs were very bad.
People were pretty friendly. They charge for just regular black coffee which is very expensive for not being a special coffee. Bad for Uber pickup. They only accommodate taxi cabs

The AC was only able to get as low as 18 and the room was already quite warm and the window doesn't open so it wasn't a particularly comfortable sleep in terms of room temperature, I imagine in the summer it would be very difficult to sleep. It's a lovely modern and otherwise very comfortable hotel. Staff are wonderful too

Staff were excellent and rooms were clean and spacious. We had a family room with 2 double beds. Breakfast and food as a whole were brilliant. Great location too being only 2 to 3 minute walk to the bus stop and 5 mins walk from kilburn park underground.

It was a very nice hotel spacious room with comfortable bed but the pillows weren't very good at all 1 wasnt enough 2 was to many no happy medium.
The only thing that let it down was breakfast organised chaos it was like eating in a canteen not really impressed but the food was nice

The hotel is overall a bit old, but it is well kept and up to standard. Location is good and price is reasonable. Parking is a bit expensive (£40 per night). When I was the staff to help me find the way to the carpark she just turned away to pick up a phone, luckily another staff helped me immediately. Just a bit shocked for the first staff as I didn't expect it in Mariott.

- Pleasant room and lobby area
- Lots of free parking around on the road
- Comfortable bed
- Lovely shower and toiletries provided
- Good breakfast

Cons:
- The pool was poor and not as advertised. The photos look very appealing. The pool was in a cramped room, water was cloudy and there was muck up the walls. This was the main reason we chose this hotel so was disappointing for us
- The room next to us obviously had someone smoking cannabis in it which made the hallway smell
- We didn't have any tea/coffee in our room bit did have a kettle. Assume this was a mistake

Overall, for a Marriott hotel and the price this hotel was not as expected

Nicely appointed hotel.. It tries hard to 4 star property but in my opinion it needs fresh ideas.. Lack of staff is an issue not sure why that is.. Parts of the hotel feel in need of TLC and the cleaning crew needs more time allocated to each room to do, a thoughtful job , as opposed to surface cleaning.. Overall i wont go back as the property overall to me lacked hospitality

Lots of stuff were broken. There was no shower floor but only a really narrow bathtub with a broken shower head. Plus, the pull out couch bed was broken as a spring popped off. Place felt outdated and needs a makeover. And they charged 40 pounds a night for parking in a really narrow and cramped space. In addition, you can’t use your key card to buzz into the hotel nor the parking garage. You have to call the front desk each time. This is very cumbersome. The food was decent, but overall, it was a poor experience. I was expecting much better from a Marriot in London

My only issue what the little cartons of milk for tea were probably stored somewhere warm and caused the milk to curdle. When I asked for more milk to be brought to the room the milks were bought in a container that was warm and appeared dirty on the outside so I was unable to have adequate amountbof hot beverage as required. This put me off having my full breakfast and would the breakfast payment refunded.

Quiet all night + blackout shades = perfect sleeping conditions for us!! Great location too, near an underground station and very walkable.

The best part is every single person in the hotel was absolutely lovely - welcoming, kind, and helpful, from the desk staff at check-in, to the rooms service folks. Extra thanks to the hotel engineer who spent tons of time helping us connect to the Smart TV. Just as helpful as can be. I hope the hotel manager sees this and passes our thanks along to all their staff, thanks for making our rare short vacation time truly special. We will be back!!

Hotel was ok. Food was fine, breakfast was never very hot, often very crowded as well. I think the hotel needs to add another room for either the executive lounge or to broaden the options for guests. The one small restaurant which is the only communal space is not really adequate. Hotel overall was fine, good transport options close by, gym is next door and has good faciltiies, room was standard, pretty dark and just needs a deeper clean. Staff overall were impressive. Friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

Property is not family friendly, it does not have a gym or swimming pool. they have an external gym, block or so a way to be used, very old gyms, swimming pool enclosed within a rook, very low ceiling. Hotel staff do not provide any of the amenities unless you ask for it multiple times, they charge for water, left garbage bags in my room. Very bad experience over all.
Expedia advertise this property as Great for family and I wonder how or Why?

Stayed 3 nights at Marriott Maida Vale. Basic hotel in an offbeat location in London. While accessible by tube and bus, its far from all the major sites in London. Also area near Killburn park seemed a bit dodgy.
Room was basic and comfortable. Price did'nt include breakfast so we had to go out to Starbucks nearby which was nice to have. Would not stay at this Marriott again. One in Canary Wharf is much nicer and new.

After traveling extensively it was a relief to get some rest in the Marriott before heading home. Room was great as expected with all amenities and buffet hit the mark. Close to some great parks and the area has a good suburban/ city vibe. Cabs were an issue but the staff did their best at all times.

I called the receptionist next day after waking up in the morning to inform them my mattress was damaged. The right side of the mattress was damaged and bent inwards which caused me severe backache after sleeping during the night because the mattress was uneven. The management promised the issue will be resolved and mattress will be changed.

Despite repeated requests, the management failed to address the issue and I had to sleep on the same mattress the next night which was extremely uncomfortable.

It took over 15mins to be attended to during check-in. Granted the receptionists were busy but it shouldn't have taken so long. I found the room easily and it was clean. The trash of the previous occupant hadn't been emptied. Though it goes without saying that the room was previously occupied, an unemptied trash can is a rude reminder of this.

The staff was fantastic. Front desk staff was very accommodating. They booked us early morning transport and transport to Heathrow for very reasonable prices. Having worked in the hospitality business for over 20 years I can appreciate how hard all of the staff worked for a 5 star stay for my daughter and myself. Train station and subway only two blocks away was a bonus. Room service was also very good.

The Marriott Hotel Maide Vale is in a great location three stops from the Paddington Hotel near Abbey Road. What I appreciated is that the rooms are nice and spacious and not the tiny little spots around Paddington station. Our room was well designed and we appreciated having the fridge as there are a number of grocery stores within walking distance as well as restaurants. The staff were always very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this place and glad I found it.

Very nice stay, with helpful front desk staff. Room was very comfortable and clean. My one issue would be that the lounge for Bonvoy members was not well maintained. My colleagues and I stayed a week and each time we went there would be yogurt but no bowls, wine but no glasses, a certain food gone but not replenished, etc. My colleagues have stayed here many times and say that this is always the case. Maybe a short staffing problem. However, everything else was great.

Our stay at the Maida Vale Marriott was absolutely wonderful. The room was very clean, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet was exceptional, ensuring that we started off each day of our vacation well fed and ready to explore. The hotel is within walking distance of two underground stations, as well as close to several major bus lines, making it convenient to get into or out of the city very quickly. It is also surrounded by corner shops to stock up your hotel fridge and/or backpack for a day of activity, as well as delicious restaurants that are open late for a late night meal after a full day. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying there again.
