Room was comfortable and clean with all expected room amenities in fair to good condition. All ground floor units.
Bed very comfortable.
Info clear and easy to understand.
TV so-so, slow to find and change channels.
Internet mostly good, sometimes erratic.
Bathroom good.
Parking good.
Mostly quiet.
Enjoyed the saltwater pool and spa.
Room cleaning and linen replacement only after three days, suited us well. (we only stayed four, could have left it)

There was a big black stain on top sheet, so I tried turning it around - there was a lot of debris in my sheets. Obviously not clean sheets, ar all. I had issues with this the time before and the staff were great and moved us. The room was dirty as. Clean sheets are probably the only thing that’s really important to me. Won’t be going back this time. Usually stay in the city now.

loved our accom here, very friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious and comfy, bed a little soft for our liking btu that is just personal preference. Pool could have done with a cover over it but otherwise totallly recommend staying at Billabong !!

The pool was the only best thing, I had to clean under the bed as daughter spilt food and cockroaches come out from under the bed, the room had a smell and found out after a shower the shower leaks into the room and looked like it had been for awhile , my daughter could not use the bed near the window as the glass louvres didn't close all the way so I did not trust them for safety and kept my daughter in bed with me also we had to change rooms as added an extra night to our stay the 1st room had plates and stuff but the next room had none at all, the motel needs a good clean up and some repairs done.

We came down for a quick stay to go to the Rugby Union.
We were there early, the room wasnt ready, but they let us use the pool & amenities until it was ready.

Nice renovation to an old building.
The bed was comfortable and the room clean.
There was a small kitchenette with a microwave.
Old box air conditioner was noisy, but the lesser of two evils, as with all motels of this design, if you leave the windows open, you hear every room and car door close and people moving about throughout the night.

What was unique was the lack of parking with the rainy weather. 2 car parks were taken up by a box trailer and laundry trolleys !!. Only parking was in the street with terribly rainy weather. People were getting siaked getting from their car to their motel room !!.

The beds were comfortable and the shower was fantastic. But the air conditioner unit must need servicing, it really struggled to cool down the room well during the day and the pool was in full sun, but as the sun set around 5.30 the pool looked a good place to be. The air conditioner worked pretty well at night when it was not so hot outside. The tv was nice and big.

This hotel was so good stayed here again 10 days after first stay.Not often travelling can you say you cant find anything wrong but this is pretty well perfection.The new owners have inherited a gem and continue the niceness.Beds are heavenly.Excellent wifi pool with kids slide.Frosted shower screen with large rain head and plenty of bench and luggage space.Good security and with the best fish and chip shop opp with a Chinese takeaway and fast food 2 mins to drive down the road makes this hotel a jewel and a no brainer to stay

This property was very clean, comfortable and the staff were extremely nice. The pool area has a waterslide, spa, seating area and barbecue area which our family of 6 frequented often. Their weren’t specific hours you had to use the pool within which was enjoyable as we were able to have night swims under the stars. The fan and cooling within the rooms worked extremely well and all the amenities worked well. The washer and dryer were also very helpful. The shops are not far from the establishment by car which was convenient.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend to others travelling.

Friendly staff, room smelt fresh and was very clean and spacious. Kitchenette was handy with a microwave, toaster, kettle and electric frypan. Loved being able to access Youtube and Netflix on the big smart tv in the room. The beds here are really comfortable and the room had plenty of desk space as well. All in all, a very pleasant and quiet stay and even though the motel seemed to be fully booked, staff were always on hand when needed. Parking is undercover. There is a pool here , wifi and guest laundry as well. Definitely will stay again amd recommend to others.

Booked online for a deluxe king as pictured and instead when arriving at motel was informed someone booked at the same time and we had been upgraded (downgraded in our opinion) to a family room tucked away in a corner. No choice. It was full of beds (naturally). The floor was disgustingly dirty but the rest of unit was OK. Feel we were 'duped' by management. Not worth the price.

Good for someone looking for budget accommodation

The room seems to have been renovated not so long ago which is good. When arrived, inside was pretty hot so turned on the air-conditioner. I wasn't comfortable with the mouldy look...not surprisingly the air smelt pretty bad. Next, we were trying to have a cup of tea...found very dirty mugs in the cabinet. Someone used them and left in the cabinet without washing! all three mugs in different shapes and colours were with dried up coffee and tea. Pretty disgusting...I've found a note in the kitchen. You get a fine if you leave dirty dishes so I guess someone just put them in the cabinet without washing. I asked for a quiet room and the manager kindly allocated us in the corner room. However, people were coming and going between 2-4am. Talking pretty roundly. Woke us up few times....we also didn't like people kept smoking in front of their rooms. we had to pass them very close to get to our room. Having said that this is good for someone who is looking for budget accommodation.

Spacious and clean. Friendly staff. Parking is easy outside the door however there was no parking outside some corner rooms. We went out for dinner and another car was already parked outside our door so I’m not sure how it works on some days when they are fuly booked.
