Our trip to the Bahamas, was our best Caribbean experience, thanks to Atlantis Resort. It is a truly wonderful and magical place. You will need a few days to explore the entire complex. If you are planning to visit Bahamas, I highly recommend this place. You will get everything you need and expect from a tropical island vacation in this hotel and won't need to leave it for anything, for your entire stay.

Amazing place for kids. Zoo like aquarium with ocean life easily watchable and lots of activities on site. Actually better than most ocean aquariums.

Food is expensive. And with 10% VAT tax and 15% gratuities on every purchase you can easily spend $100 a day per person. Much more if you eat at restaurants.

Place is big. We walked around 3 miles a day. There are pools everywhere so this much walking is not required but if you want to see everything offered you will be walking a lot.

Hotel is old and outdated. We had a water leak on our floor and were forced to walk through. Front desk cared very little about any complaints - not enough towels for the number of ppl in the room, broken coffee machine, moldy smell throughout the building, only one working elevator.

Room was clean and spacious. Everything is overpriced and 15% gratuity is automatically added to every single purchase throughout the entire resort. The staff lack customer service due to this automatic gratuity and will not work any harder than they should. Therefore, DO NOT TIP ANY ADDITIONAL GRATUITY! It is not deserved or appreciated. You have to constantly ask for a refill of water or wait on staff for the check. It’s insane that they don’t even bother to care for you. Aside from that, the resort itself is very beautiful but the staff definitely take away from the experience and need better customer service training.

We were there 02/27/26-03/02/2026 not a busy time there were no crowds but food service was soooo slow they seemed bothered when you asked for things ( more coffee, sauce for food, napkins, refill on soda) had two occasions when food orders were not correct at deli had to wait some more. The lady that took care of our table at Posidens Table was very nice and attentive. Front desk stsff and bell staff very helpful but most other staff not very interested in interacting gave wrong info a few times. House ckeaning asked them to put enough towels wash cloths for 3 because there was only enough for two that never happened we had to go looking for the stuff. Drinks watered down. Food overall was not that good and expensive ( i dont mind paying for food but overall taste and options not great for such a well know place. A lot of things were closed being repaired, water slides not working the wster slide that goes through shark tank was closed.

Absolutely incredible experience staying at the Coral last week with my spouse and 2 kids. Staff and service were great throughout, loved our beautiful room and view, impeccable grounds and art throughout. The gorgeous open air aquarium throughout the Dig is full of all kinds of sea life from sharks and rays to turtles and countless types of tropical fish. Our kids had a blast on the waterslides and enjoyed the many pools and beaches. All the meals we had were pricey but high quality and delicious. No shortage of things to do inside from the movie theatre to ping pong and games at Good Lies, an arcade, and beautiful shops in Marina Village. Hope to return again and again.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is the location — it’s very close to all the parks, which made getting around quick and convenient. The property is also clean and the housekeeping team clearly does a good job maintaining the rooms.

However, the rooms themselves are in dire need of an upgrade. The furniture, finishes, and overall look feel very dated and do not match the price point. For what you pay, you expect something more modern and comfortable.

Another downside is that everything on the property is quite expensive, which adds up quickly for families.

In summary: great location and cleanliness, but the rooms really need renovation to justify the cost. Until that happens, it’s hard to feel the stay offers good value for money.

Amenities not enough to do at night. We stayed at Coral for a week 3 days only 1 elevator 1 elevator didn’t work the whole time we were there. Wasted time waiting for an elevator. No water for one day. I was expecting better of Atlantis!

Plumbing issues, staff helpful and lovely about 50% of the time and the rest of the time not so much. Water refill stations slow, building dated and needs an overhaul. Food just ok and overpriced. Casino playtime short for good sized investment. For the cost of this room for a week all of these things should have been better.

Pros: Staff was fairly good. Unique place in that there is marine life and outdoor aquariums everywhere. Nice!

Con’s: Extremely overpriced for what you get. Mexico beaches are WAY better. No rooms on the beach. Food is times 2-3 of what it should cost. Exterior of place looks like it hasn’t been painted or power washed for years. Kids crawling everywhere, didn’t matter that school is in session. I would never go back. Mexico is for me!!

As a solo female traveler the male staff in this resort were very unwelcoming and scary. I like to wander around and I didn’t feel safe walking around and ended up staying in my room until I knew more guests were out and about. The resort it self was wonderful and beautiful.

The room was above an abandoned floor of the hotel. Our balcony overlooked garbage and rotten building. Inside was maybe updated, but smelled moldy and the bathroom was painted really sloppily. We walked down the stairs since we had been put on the old third floor. The stairs should be condemned.
Pool and staff very nice. Whole hotel needs updated desperately.

First room was kind if smelly and there was no hot water. We asked management to change the room and they accommodated us. They moved us to a better toom. Hotel needs upgrade.. satellite/TV connection was bad for a day, it got better later on. Staff was helpful. Prices are so high in general especially at the restaurants so there is line even in-front of pizzerias. It was windy and water was cold for this time around. Pick a better time, not february.

The room was not clean, the bed felt like stones. The worst part of the trip was we arrived a day late do to losing our connection flight. We arrived at noon and I commented to my husband eventhough we paid yesterday and were not there, at least we can get in our room right away. Not the case

Upgraded to the Royal which I highly recommend. Great stay. Rooms were spacious and hotel is clean. Staff are courteous and responsive. Everyone was very friendly.
The water park is a huge bonus and worth the extra cost over other hotels. There were so many great restaurants here we didn’t have time to eat at them all but I do suggest Nobu, Fish and Ambers.

Room is old. Extremely noisy but usually at 5:30am is the worst. They gave use 2 empty water bottles to refill with filtered water? Strangest thing. And water tastes like the toilet. Lastly, don't order room service. Go down to Carmines and order it out.

We chose coral as we were travelling with our baby so wanted to be closer to marina village at walking distance . That we loved as we were steps away from the marina village. However the rooms could be more cleaner.the washroom was a little dirty. We have been to reef previously and it was spectacular however coral wasn’t as good. But recommend for people travelling with babies and want to be closer to village

The Coral at Atlantis is an amazing property!

Beginning with the valet to the front desk staff and the property's staff in general were outstanding!

In particular, Seronte at Claudio's Restaurant and staff went above and beyond and were extremely attentive to our stay there and to our needs!

We highly recommend that you visit The Coral at Atlantis and have yourself a grand time in the Bahamas!

Went for our honeymoon and we absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Coral, beaches were beautiful, waterpark was our favorite! Atmosphere was great! Food was definitely on the pricey side but that was expected, wasn't really blown away by the food, I was expecting a bit more for the price. Hospitality from staff for the most part was really good! Would go back in the future, maybe with kids!

Rooms were spotless resort is beautiful so many fun activities for the entire family. The only thing I was not ok with was the fact that housekeeping staff were very rude and wanted to force their way into guest rooms. I had to speak with two different hotel management staff in regards to this situation. Only thing they should have done better was switch our room to another wing at the time this all happened instead f me demanding to be moved

The shower water temperature was cool and the housekeepers weren't thorough especially with vice maker. Lastly the ice maker on our floor didn't work for days and the only jacuzzi in the area wasn't warm most days. Otherwise it was fantastic.
