The location of The Ocean Club is hard to beat, the food is very good although quite pricey - your food bill will rise quite rapidly. The staff are very friendly and helpful although the person that showed me to my room on arrival was a little frosty after I made a remark that waiting and hour for my room to become available was not very good especially after a long flight.

The room that I stayed in was nice but I’d say if this is the same for all similar rooms, then they’re about due for a refurb as they are starting to look a bit tired and some of the bath fittings were definitely in need of replacing.

All in all I think a four out of five is probably a little on the generous side and would rate nearer a 3.5 but the grounds, beach and general location is exceptional. The gym is very good.

Over the top accommodations. Only one complaint. We were not told there was complimentary morning coffee and muffins in am and Friday nite free cocktails for an hour.

We found out both when leaving so felt like we got ripped off spending money when it was available free.

From the moment you step out of the car at the Ocean Club, you are in luxury. The staff are at your service, friendly and welcoming. The property facilities are out of this world. The gym is very well equipped, you can get the push bikes to cycle the property. We only stayed for one night as a treat. We are at Dune restaurant. Our server was great. So lovely and chatty. Top service. The resort was very quiet which we didn’t mind, as it’s very exclusive. Each time we sat down at a different pool, the staff bring over a bucket of ice and ocean club waters to keep you hydrated. The room was out of this would. A bath tub fit for 2 people! In the rooms, we were given complimentary branded caps, beach bag, and even a bottle of local rum to take home. Even the closet was air conditioned!! Unbelievable stay, certainly warrants its prove and exclusivity.

Four Seasons = superior experiences! Some of the properties do not live up to the FS brand but this one does in terms of quiet luxury and superior guest services. Everyone was extremely polite, gracious and appreciative. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will return asap!

In love with this property!

Travel all over the world and thia property is one of our favorite. Best service all around from Selena at the spa, restaurants and our butler's Prince and Marcus spoiled us every moment! Food is spectacular as well and Keith at the martini bar is world renowned. If your looking for a serene getaway where you do not have to leave the property for a thing- this is the spot.

Beautiful property, beautiful view, but the clanging crew does use not a vacuum or a mop in the rooms unless you specifically ask them. We stayed in two rooms and both had hair, crumbs, and lint on the floor and desk because they hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while.

We spent one night for a anniversary. The staff made a note when we arrived and we were congratulated when we had dinner and drinks after. The room overlooks the ocean and we could walk out to sit on chairs to enjoy the solitude. The staff was very respectful, polite, courteous, helpful, and welcoming. We had only booked one day ahead and there was no problem with the short notice. We will highly recommend the Ocean Club and hope to return when we can. Memories were made and shared with friends and family who have not seen it in pictures or in person.

Felt more like suckers than guests.

Hotel needs updating on many fronts. The tub was old and had little potholes that looked like cigarette burns. Multiple cable channnels did not get service. The internet did not work in our room. The coffee mate creamer left by our coffee machine were rancid. The old refrigerator being used as a mini bar had to be unplugged at night because it was stupidly noisy. For what we paid, we felt more like suckers than guests.

It is a beautiful setting. The negatives are that the dining is not as good as it used to be. Dune is still good but the food is not as good as it was. The other main negative is that we opted to have dinner at the Dune Bar one evening for convenience and were subjected to having to endure cigarette smoke while we tried to enjoy our food. In this day and age what establishment allows patrons to smoke at the bar. Times have changed and the Ocean Club needs to get with the times. No smoking except in designated areas.

The positives:

1. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are a bit dated, but the ocean views are unparalleled.
2. The drinks are VERY good. Andre at the Ocean bar was extremely friendly he makes the best pina colada I've ever had :)

Now for the negatives:

1. Our room was not as clean as it should have been. There was a layer of dust on every surface, and our floors weren't vacuumed or mopped at all during our stay. We kept most of our belongings in drawers so they wouldn't get dusty. Very disappointing and definitely not Four Seasons quality.
2. Communication & customer service are subpar. There should be a sign in the lobby indicating the hours that the shuttle runs and what destinations it goes to, or what activities are being offered on site. It looked like there was painting going on, but we knew nothing about it. Guests should also be told about restaurants and bars that are open nearby so they know their options. We were only told about Nobu, but it wasn't mentioned that Anthony's was open down the street. Also, at check-in we were asked if we wanted to make spa or dinner reservations, which we did. Turns out the concierge never made them so we did it ourselves. Very disappointing.
3. The food was extremely overpriced ($26 for ONE piece of french toast!). We ordered room service almost every day, and every time our order was wrong (I tried getting smoked turkey for my eggs FOUR TIMES). We actually rationed our breakfast to try to save money.

One of the few places in the world that provides true 5 star service. Went there for our wedding anniversary and they went above and beyond to make our stay special. One of the best hotels I stayed in over the last 30 years and I travel about 1/3rd of any given year. Can‘t compliment enough.

Four Seasons did a great job sustaining the high standards set previously by O&O. Room upgrade at check-in, gorgeous property, wonderful staff, beautiful beach, what’s not to like?! We loved the pool staff in particular, especially Chavez, who makes a great drink and stirs up even better conversation. My wife and I have been 3 times and will certainly return again. Ronnie Wood was even in the House when we were there! Very cool.

We had a great stay until our last night. There was a wedding reception party on the property with loud music playing until late in the night. We came for some rest and relaxation and not for a party atmosphere. We brought this up with the staff a couple of times but management did not take any action. Not the Four Seasons experience and not what one would expect for a at a hotel at this price point we expect better.

The place is really expensive but the service is not at its best. You ask for drinks at the beach and it may take them a long time. n the restaurant we sat on a table that was shaking and not stable. Although I brought it to the waiter’s attention they didn’t do anything about it. It’s an easy fix to put something under the table.

Another problem we had, one night in the bar next to the restaurant they had a live performance and then she would pass the microphone to the guests and good lord, some of those people could not sing and insisted to do so. I understand trying to be friendly but you also need to consider the other guests.

The location and rooms were fantastic. The beach was beautiful. The tennis court was great. We used the bikes to go around and they were old but functional.

The resort property is absolutely exquisite!!!

I did not appreciate the 3-4 hour wait to check into our room. I had to go back to the Concierge to see if our room was ready. The service manager was not too polite when I spoke to her about the matter. Her tone was actually rude. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this resort.

Our room was beautiful and comfortable and our view of the ocean from our room was stunning. The property was not overly crowded, and we always had plenty of space to enjoy our time without waiting on other guests. And the beach?? It was by far the best beach we have ever been to. Perfect sand, crystal clear water, and again it was not overly crowded.
Service was mostly excellent, although it did take longer to receive the staff’s attention than we would have preferred on the beach.
Fantastic property, though, and a great way to celebrate our 15-year wedding anniversary!

The property is absolutely gorgeous. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s very private but it’s also easy to access the rest of the island. The grounds crew does a superb job of keeping the place immaculate.
The service is second to none. Our concierge, Chentiek, and our butler, Shemika were incredible. We were sad to have to say goodbye to them.

Check in was disorganized. We waited two hours. We received a credit for 50 percent off one night. The room was large but we had to have lightbulbs installed and the TV fixed. The staff did not respect when we had the Do Not Disturb sign up. The housekeeping was nonexistent and in fact although we request service numerous times, the room was never serviced. The hotel, food and spa are way overpriced and options are limited. We decided to spend our last night at the Baha Mar Grand Hyatt, which was spectacular in comparison.

Tranquil, serene place. Facilities in impeccable condition, especially notable for seaside location and that Ocean Club is an older facility.

Exudes a sense of class without being pretentious.

Friendliest, most conscientious staff I’ve ever encountered.

Not for most children as suited to busy 40+ seeking to slow down and rest.

Onsite dining limited to three small locations, but food delicious.

Ocean Club golf course and Versailles Garden both gorgeous.

Amazing staff and service. The water quality on the beach was unbelievable - one of the best beach vacations in my life (and I have done more than a few!) - small size (105 rooms) a huge plus. Golf course: excellent.

The staff and the property are an example of how hotels should run. The hotel is small but very well staffed. It is away from the large hotels, quiet, and a relaxing place to stay. The food was very good (Kale Salad for lunch at the Dune Bar) and the dinner menu at Dune. They have entertainment most nights at the Bar. Wine and cheese (or rum and cheese depending on the week) at the main bar. The guests are a great group of people to be around. Do not be surprised if you run into famous people. Special thanks to Duckquon at the pool, Jermain, Kyran and Lakeshia, Prince, and Edwardo(Gucci) for making us feel at home. The manager of the hotel (a very elegant woman) masterfully handles the property. She greets each guest at check in which we have never had happen despite staying at a vast amount of great resorts.

Serene, the grounds were well taken care of, staff was amazing, and it was the upscale relaxation that I needed!! I recommend staying here for relaxation & romance (they have a gym, spa, tennis courts, 2 pools, private beach, plenty of food and bar options), not necessarily to \"party\". Concierge took care of arranging my Exuma islands trip, Dune's fish dishes were very well prepared, easy to take the shuttle over to Atlantis for the sportsbook & Nobu, and the Martini bar & bartender was top notch too! Taxi to get over to Greycliff restaurant for dining off-site too (highly recommended) & say hi to the piano player in the lounge - she's fantastic.

Beautiful hotel, great beach, good food. The hotel caters way too much to certain people. I was awoken by a drone filming what looked to be into my room which had a direct view of my bed. Very uncomfortable feeling and also very annoying to be awoken by the noise of a huge flying drone hovering over my balcony. I reported this issue upon checkout and still nothing has been done

we just returned home from the Ocean Club and we loved it! the staff are fantastic, the beach is beautiful and our room was a bit tired, but immaculate. The breakfast and lunch were delicious, but the dinner is expensive and just average. I would definitely return.

It's the little things!

Room not cleaned until after 3 pm each day even when we specifically asked our \"butler\" at to make sure it was cleaned before we returned, as we needed to get ready to attend a wedding. It wasn't. No place to hang wet bathing suits or your bathrobe in the bathroom. Coffee cups not replaced after we used them.
The staff at the resort are very friendly and polite.
Even thought the restaurant is a Jean George, I've had better food at a buffet in Mexico for a 1/4 of the price. For the prices they charge Jean George should be in the kitchen.
Place has great potential to be what it used to be. New branding
