I would not recommend this property. The staff was nice but nothing was organized and the excursions they offered were not reliable. The bathroom I had was disgusting. I was a solo traveller and they treated me horribly. They even left me at an excursion. No good snorkeling from the beach.

If the sun is shining it’s great cause you’re outside and enjoying the beach. Beyond that be mentally prepared that it’s very dated but for the price it’s okay cause it’s about being outside at the beach.

The resort is outdated, our room had no water on two separate occasions and the TV didn't work and no one addressed the issue when we called down to the front desk. The food was horrible with the exception of breakfast. The drinks seemed to be watered down.

Fruit flys and ants everywhere. The tv and phone did not work the week we were there, they would come try and fix and we would leave to only come back and it still not work. 18 year olds running up and down the hall from 11pm till 5am every night. The worst liquor possible unless you waited till dinner time and went to the piano bar. Minimal buffet food but it was repetitive. Unfortunately the staff wasn’t much better. Such a disappointing week!

It is in serious need of an update. Rooms are clean but very dated. The food is the same stuff every day. If you need a few days there for layover or whatever, it is OK for that but for a full week you get bored with it very fast. The front desk staff is not the most friendly most of them looked like they didn't want to be there and annoyed that you were talking to them.

The worst hotel you can stay at is Breezes Bahamas.

The staff was unhelpful, the rooms were old and badly outdated, the WiFi was either painfully slow & nonexistent, the showers barely worked, and the electricity kept cutting off. Every issue was reported, yet nothing was properly addressed or fixed.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was honestly terrible in every possible way. After just one day, I had no choice but to leave the property and book another hotel.

Do yourself a favor and save yourself the frustration. There are far better options in the Bahamas. Stay away from this property.

There are many things that I didn’t like One starting with front desk staff Chris very unprofessional and walked away upon checking in. Two no refrigerator or microwaves in the room, which is an inconvenience to someone who may have to take medication you have to go all the way downstairs to a machine. I feel a lot of the staff cater to the Caucasians and bypass. Everyone should be treated equally we all bleed the same blood and all our money is green. Staff at outside grill at lunchtime wouldn’t tell me what was on the menu made me walk all the way around instead of just saying what was on the menu and another staff had to tell him. Why did you say that you should’ve just told her what was on the menu very rude.

Some employees were great. A few at the check in were not. The piano bar area smelled very bad. There were fruit flies in the beverage area. The Room TV had very few enjoyable channels. The music around the pool was ridiculously loud part of the time. They should add chili and onions for their hot dogs.

The food was good. The beach and pool were excellent. Most of the staff were friendly. My room was clean. The view from my room and the beach was wonderful.

I will probably stay there again.

Everyone, and I mean everyone that worked at this resort was friendly with the exception of the very first person we came in contact with while checking in. She was actually miserable, but he did not let her sway us. We did ask a question and not only did the person tell us where to go, they would actually walk us all the way to where we wanted to be. They were really helpful and genuinely kind people. The beach is beautiful. Plenty of chairs. Lunch grill by the bar was very good. Get the cheeseburger or the jerk chicken. The buffet was OK. Nothing to write home about some days were better than others, but it is a typical buffet.
Cons:
Was in room 528. Absolutely zero water pressure. And I mean zero. Was afraid the dripping of water was going to stop before I got the soap off. Can only speak for that room. Always ran out of cushions for the beach chairs. The chairs were very hard. Decided to try one of the restaurants instead of buffet. That night was the Asian restaurant. How bad could it be?. Unfortunately it was bad. Bite size appetizers. Dinner was OK. Dessert was OK. Kind of like the upscale restaurant that serves you a huge plate with a bean in the middle. We got done there and went to really eat at the buffet. Kind of crazy lol. Yes the hotel is outdated. They were painting wall walls in the hallway in the middle of the day. Room is cute, yes, could have been cleaner. But all in all for the price, we had an excellent time. Thank you Breezes!

We stayed here for our 30th anniversary and I was blown away by the staff and accommodations. The young man at the front desk greeted us by name every time he saw us. The food was delicious. The pool and beach were so relaxing. Can't wait to come back!

The assistant manager was extremely rude. The manager Shantell and Christoper were very polite and answered all my questions. Heads up if you have other people in different hotels they will not be allowed to visit you at the property. I had my friend come over while I dressed he had to sit in the lobby or had to pay 150.00 just to go to my room so unreal.

This place is absolutely terrible. Very outdated and dirty. Hair all over the floor when we walked into the room for the first time. Only 2 power plugs in the entire room and only 1 worked. No tv stations on the tv. No one came to look at it when I called the front desk.
Buffet is absolutely disgusting. Food has a strange taste to it.

The food was excellent. Some of the staffs was very rude. Their need customer training. The rooms was not very nice.No coffee maker. Not a bottle of water in the room for the guests And they need to put a clock in the rooms so guests can see the time, instead of me, keep looking at my phone for the time. The entertainment was very good at night. after all, it wasn’t a bad trip. I will recommend it to someone who is senior citizen. Not young folks. And that was my experience.

Outdoor amenities are excellent. Staff is great. The rooms need upgrading. Bathroom is awkward. There was a problem with the ac and room floor was mostly wet during our stay. There should be late night snacks available after dinner closes or vending machines. There were no fridge in the room, needed to pay extra. There were also no coffee/tea station in the room.

Staff were very kind and helpful from check in to check out. À la carte restaurant meals were delicious! Grill by the pool was also awesome~ Greek salad and cheeseburgers were really good. Ideal location to enjoy lunch looking out at the water from the beach or poolside. Buffet was simple with a few choices. Pasta chef was wonderful! So happy and clearly loves her job!

Food is good, rooms are clean and the beach is beautiful. Most staff are friendly and helpful. This was my sixth time visiting Breezes and I definitely plan to go again.

The beach was beautiful and the food was good, but other than that, there isn’t much else going on. The only night time entertainment is the same guy singing the same songs every night. The “night club” was virtually empty, there wasn’t even a bartender down there to serve you a drink. The drinks also seem to be very watered down. I don’t know if we were just there at a bad time, but we were incredibly bored with the exception of 2 nights. Unless you’re someone who just wants something cheap to spend all your time on the beach or at the pool, then I wouldn’t recommend this place.

First time staying. First with the positive. The property was located on a nice beach. The property and room were clean. The swimming pool s were nice. Ok now with the negative. Food was just so so. You won't go hungry. They do the best they can. There was never a \"hot\" meal, buffet is what you get. The restaurants on the property were closed or not open on the dates we wanted. Besides that if you are handy capped you have stairs to climb on two of them which would be hard for my wife. I should mention we stayed 6 nights. There was a sewer smell every day we were there on the first floor in the bar !!! The outdoor hot tub sauna did not work at any time. At the buffet you can eat on the outside but birds will attack your food. The place we stayed out years ago had netting which stopped this. The employees were nice mostly but you could tell they didn't really like there job and probably the pay they were receiving. You get what you pay for and I wish we could have spent a little more and had a better memory.

Breezes exceeded everything we hoped for in our resort vacation. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and always with a smile. The food and drinks were very good. We ate at Martinos and the Garden of Eden restaurants. Both were 5 star. And the poolside grill was also a daily favorite. All the food and drinks are included in the price. The Beautiful beach was never crowded and always had lounge chairs available.This was the first week in May. We will definitely be back next year!

Unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing overall.
The breakfast was the worst, food was cold, the selection was very limited, and several items were constantly unavailable. The pool café also seemed to regularly run out of food and we were often told they “didn’t have it” or we couldn’t get certain items. Dinner service was very poor. The quality of the food was extremely disappointing across the board, including both the buffet and the restaurant-style dining options. Service selections were limited, and overall the food quality did not meet expectations for an all-inclusive resort.
Most of the resort amenities were out of service during our stay, which was frustrating considering this is advertised as an all-inclusive resort. The rooms themselves were very outdated and run down. There was noticeable water buildup on the shower glass, rust stains, dirty floor edges, and overall the rooms just did not feel clean or maintained well. The TVs in the rooms did not work, and neither did the phones, making it impossible to contact another room if needed. Also worth noting there is no room service available.
The beach itself was beautiful, however the snorkeling was very underwhelming with little to no fish or sea life visible. We also noticed broken glass in multiple areas of the beach.
Overall extremely disappointed for an all-inclusive resort!

My only two suggestions for the rooms would be to have a mini frig to keep water or medicine in and a coffee/tea machine in the room for those people who like an early morning coffee/tea in bed. Wonderful resort and certainly a hidden gem!

- It is a good hotel for the price we paid being at The Bahamas, the location and the beach were amazing.
- The staff in their majority were rude and not very polite.
- One of the rooms had not connectors near the bed and we could only find one in the entire room.
- The AC in the other room was on and off all night.

Other than that everything was good, the food was amazing and the Bartender at the Disco on Saturday was incredible!

This was our second time at the resort and we were very happy with our stay; especially with staff Lisel (restaurant manager) who was so organized and friendly and Darvin (lifeguard) who was so personable and always greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed each day. Staff like this is why we have returned. I’m hopeful they get recognized as they truly went above and beyond!

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at Breezes Bahamas and would not recommend it. The hotel is very outdated, and both rooms we stayed in (after being given the wrong one and upgrading) had visible damage to ceilings and moldings. The water smelled like a mix of seawater and sewage, and the temperature constantly fluctuated. The hallways were freezing, and our room stayed cold even with the heater on, which also gave off a burnt smell. The walls are very thin—we could hear everything from neighboring rooms, and furniture sounded flimsy and loud.

The food was mediocre and buffet-style, rarely hot unless you arrived right at opening. For an all-inclusive, it was frustrating that food was only available during limited hours—no café or quick grab-and-go options, and no easy access to bottled or filtered water.

Staff were initially pleasant but quickly became rude or dismissive when we asked questions. One morning, we were leaving early and tried to grab a small plate of food just before opening, and a staff member loudly scolded us in front of others—completely unprofessional.

We avoided the property most of the trip, spending about 90% of our time at Baha Mar or exploring. We simply didn’t want to be there. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. Only thing I have to say is to renovate the rooms, upgrade furniture & a Smart TV would be nice. They should clean out the cooling system so it doesn't smell old. & Maybe bleach wipes to clean and freshening sprays can be use to help. I get that it one of the oldest places( about 3 decades) but for visitors something more modernized as far as the rooms. Place was very peaceful, calm, very chill. The outside of the resort is beautiful sitting right on a private the beach with on site grilling, activities, all you can eat, and you can also purchase excursions on the beach as well. Beside the old smell and look of the room I give it a 7/10.

There were no ice machines or refrigerators in the rooms so I would have to go down and fill my YETI at night (not that big of a deal) The one thing that stood out the most was how miserable and unfriendly the were. It was absolutely HORRIBLE. If the stay would have been more welcoming and friendly my stay would have been much better. If you’re on a budget and just want a place to go to bask in the sun then this place is ok.

Rooms, very clean! They do not provide you a top sheet, only a duvet cover. Over all, needs lots of upkeep and attention! Our 1st room was great, into our 2nd day, whole 2nd and 1st floors were flooded, starting in bathrooms. We don't know if we were dealing with sewage water or what! Told to pack up and move everything to front desk, rather than take your belongings to another room. Front desk girls seemed overwhelmed and NOT very nice. We had to again stand in line and wait, with anyone checking in. We were traveling with another couple.
Most other staff, very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was always good and plenty of options, as were most meals.
Pools, not the cleanest, Hot tub as referred by one guest, flesh eating bacteria. dirty water, jets do not work.
Beach, way over crowded with unused dirty beach chairs! Chair cushions, had 10 for whole resort, that was over used and need replaced. No one picking up trash in the sand, just emptying trash cans.
Overall, not the worst I've stayed in, and not the best.
This place could be beautiful if it was kept up!

The rooms and view were just absolutely beautiful; beds were comfy and there were lots of storage options for our clothes and other belongings. They came and cleaned our rooms every morning: fresh sheets, new towels, cleaned the floors.The buffet menu had lots of options and offered different food for the main courses everyday. Some of the food was a little dry at times but overall it was good. And the staff were all so nice, it didn’t feel like fake customer service nice it just felt like genuine kindness. I saw some reviews of people saying the staff was rude but I didn’t see that at all, they were always ready to help with whatever we wanted. The outdoor pool area was nice, there were lots of chairs to sit in and hammocks on the side. I spent a lot of time tanning on the poolside chairs and they can get a little uncomfortable after a while, but they sometimes give cushions for the chairs if you ask. Saw some negative reviews and people being negative when I was there but in my opinion those people are haters and there’s really nothing wrong with this place. It’s an enjoyable resort with lots to offer and I would definitely come back.

Nice hotel, old, something doesn’t work properly, in our case the tv and lamp, basic food at buffet, nice a la carte restaurant with limited options, good drinks, great beach and pool, if you are not looking for luxury but pleasant stay, this could be the place

Definitely an outdated facility. The food was good. The beach and swimming pools were enjoyable. No room service and food was not available around the clock. Not even an ice bucket in the room. My door to my room was difficult to open and shut. Shower water smelled funny. I expected better from a Breezes property.

This is an older hotel, but they keep it very clean and the beds were comfy. The only pleasant staff was the pool entertainment guy and the house keeping. A smile and good morning goes a long way. The towel girl was horrible. As for food, it was mediocre. If this hotel made a few improvements it would be way better. The best part was the location. Beautiful beach.

The property has seen better days. When we first arrived there were hundreds of teenagers everywhere and other guests said they were there since Tuesday (we arrived Friday). Another guest said they were not allowed to bring their 15 yo child because it was adults only. Thank goodness they left so that made it more acceptable. The beach had a lot of seaweed but tge water was pretty. The restaurant meals were better than the buffets for the most part but I have had better. The drinks were very strong and was a bad thing for me lol. We walked to the nearby Baha Mar casino but didn't venture downtown or do any excursions. Other guests said it was safe though. Overall it was a good trip.

The whole property smelled of raw sewage. The pool chairs were hard with no cushions. Food was mediocre at best. Our room ceiling started leaking and had to be moved to another room. All inclusive was not entirely true. Ice cream you had to buy. If you wanted an in room fridge, you had to rent it extra $. Bad experience overall.
