We stayed during college spring break (beginning of March). Lots and lots of young adults. They were actually very respectful which was nice. I will say even though this is an older property it was the staff that made this trip for us. Super friendly and accommodating. We met so many amazing people; \"G\" the Beach Butler, D'von the party Hype man, and Valentino the Piano Bar bartender were amazing!!

Older style resort. Some up dating in public areas, rooms are clean but dated. Overall we enjoyed our stay, Buffet is the main eating option with limited schedule for specialty restaurants. Not many shade options on the pool deck and a lot water activity with nearby jet skis. Nice walk to Baha Mar. We ate there twice, food was very good but very expensive. We didn’t find the staff overly friendly. Final note, coffee was terrible.

I could see the ocean from the side, but i was told i had a garden view, my view was horrible , weeds, trash, and side of the buiding that looked in need or repair .
Also I asked for a refrigerator it would be $75.00 a day ,
also no ice buckets are brought to the room

The beach had really nice fine sand and usually easy to find beach chairs. The property was run down and the staff kind of rude. They would run out of regular beer before lunch and light beer early afternoon. It is disappointing that an all-inclusive runs out of drinks and food every day. There was also a lot of smoking on the property. It is a cheaper option than the Baha Mar resort next door and the food is decent. Pools were clean. I feel like this resort was in its prime 25 years ago and they have not done upkeep since.

Great 2mile walking beach. Beware of Spring Break! This property is worth the money if you enjoy food and lounging on a beautiful beach.

Property was clean but outdated. The coffee was always full of grounds or just water. Only one bar was open at a time. The \"balcony\" was about 6 inches wide, the door opens but you can't \"sit outside on it\" Those were a couple things that were \"negative\". Staff was very friendly. Overall it is a very clean and safe play to stay with beautiful views of the water.

They advertise as an adult only resort, but this resort is overrun with kids for spring break. Loud window shaking music all night. This should have been mentioned when booking. Ruined my last day there, with loud, drunk, profanity kids everywhere.

We didn't get the pool or ocean view, because we read that the entertainment could be loud, and you would hear it in those rooms. The hotel was extremely clean, the staff was unfailingly polite, and the food was plentiful. There were breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets and the times were broad. Each buffet lasted for at least 2 hours. Food and drink were included but the liquor was not a name brand, and the wine was simply undrinkable. If you're not a drinker, this is the place for you. If you like to eat, this is the place for you. One last thing: the entertainment was LOUD. They were blasting music at the pool starting in the early afternoon, and there was a band in the evening, inside, that was really, really loud. So loud that you couldn't really understand the lyrics. We just stayed away from that section of the hotel in the evening.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the resort, they were so friendly and fun! The resort itself is very dated and not well maintained. The pool was not very clean and the hot tub was disgustingly dirty. The drinks are just terrible unless you get them from the piano bar that opens at 6 pm. The food was ok but nothing spectacular. We ate off the resort a couple of times just to have better food and drinks. We will not return to this resort.

This was a good spot for an inexpensive getaway but your expectations should be very low. The housekeeping staff did not remember to clean our room every day, even when we told them we were going out; the TV did not work, there is no coffee maker (unless you request it and they are limited), and the little things, like real conditioner in the shower, do not exist. The buffet is okay but they usually ran out of fruit in the morning. The poolside grill is excellent and the drinks are plentiful, as in every all-inclusive, but most of the staff seemed unhappy to be there. The decor has not been updated since the 80s and there is a weird smell in the bar. Only go if, like us, you plan to just spend your time relaxing at the beach - in that respect, it is perfect.

Seems the resort hasn't invested in general upkeep. The resort is showing its age and the rooms are very dated. Many of the activities that were here when I first visited are no longer there such as jousting, rock climbing, trapeze, sumo suit wrestling etc were not there. Service and food was just ok.

We enjoy our stay although we were only there for 1 night! The price is great for what you get - a great beach, good food and drinks. The resort itself is very dated but the rooms were clean, the people very friendly and there is lots of activities on the beach and in the lobby (ie pool and ping pong tables). Buffet food was good, not a vast selection but good. We enjoy a nice coffee on holidays and that was definitely lacking! The drinks are also not great but they do the trick!
Proximity to Baha mar casino and some of their amenities is great and if you need a change in food you can always go to dinner there! Overall great value for your money.

The Good: The resort was clean, the pool was well kept and the staff was friendly. Bed, pillows and towels were good. The piano bar was a lot of fun and there was nightly entertainment in the lobby/common area.
The bad: There was no hairdryer, coffee set up or refrigerator in the room, the food choices were VERY limited and they were understaffed for food services. the lounge chairs were the plastic ones that are not that comfortable so ask for extra towels. the weather was beautiful so we enjoyed our time though!

There were 4 Resturants and 1 store for snacks that was open until 10pm but bars are open until 1-2am which made no sense for guest. There are no fridges or microwaves in the room.Unless you rent a fridge at an Extra cost , I didn't see anything about a microwave. Unless you stack up on snacks or bring food upstairs from dinner You were stuck thank God we brought our stanleys. And was able to have water in the room overnight. When room service came to clean our rooms the next morning.They left the used garbage bag on top of the dresser open next to food we had in the room that they did not take out. The restaurant will start cleaning up early and shut down half of the buffet around 8pm service was not terrible but not the greatest. Room was clean & comfy on day 2 we had someone barge into our room without knocking, while I was undressing, we immediately told the front desk and they gave us a Do Not Disturb sign which we kept on our door the entire time Moving forward.

The room was a bit dated, but was okay. My main critique is that they didn't have an option to heat the pool. Some of the days were cold, and being able to heat up the water temperature slightly would have made a massive difference in my ability to make the most of my trip and enjoy being outside. This Resort is truly a hidden gym. A wonderful and amazing place. Yes, it’s older or I would say vintage. However the entire resort was super clean and extremely friendly staff. The buffet was also incredible offering a very wide range of foods especially on the healthy side much my wife and I loved. Most importantly this resort had the best beach by far than other more expensive resorts close by.

If I had to provide any negative feedback it would be the pool/beach towl center open at 7 not 8. Also there must be more coffee pots in the morning, as it seemed the staff struggled to keep up replacing them.

No communication! Should have a sheet to hand you when you check in such as a map where restaurants are located, daily activities, hours of meal times. Towel check out location. Comfortable lounge chairs. They kept all the nice ones stacked up to left of property not being used. Piano lounge needs entertainment I. There. Nightly entertainment was some band. They were awesome but same thing each night.
More umbrellas should be available at the beach! Beds are very broken down and old. Drawers in dresser broken. Shower leaked all

The resort does by far have a premium beach which is a huge bonus. With proper management and capital this could be an extremely successful and pleasant experience for guests.

The room smelled like smoke, mold. Sliding door would not open. I called about five times until someone finally showed up on my second last day.. air conditioner had a very moldy odor. It was super noisy and leaking.
I had to put a beach towel underneath it because of the water dripping. When I arrived, the toilet bowl was dirty as if someone had used it and not flushed properly..
Mattresses were weirdly covered in plastic???
Overall resort is very rundown and needs major updating. Food was mediocre and buffet was exactly the same food and choices for breakfast lunch and dinner. Restaurant choices were not great and there was always a line to wait. Waiting time could be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.
I would not recommend or come back to breezes. I was disappointed that Expedia gave it the rating that it did. I would actually love to talk to someone at Expedia to possibly get a discount or something because this was totally unacceptable. Based on the ratings and what I read on the Expedia website.

The room was clean and the cleaning staff were very courteous. Our shower leaked and we told the cleaning staff the first day, but no one ever came to fix it, so we had to use towels to block the water from leaking all over the floor. The main dining room is not staffed enough. we had to wait in lines for tables to be cleared, and for staff to provide utensils, water, and coffee. The Ala carte restaurants had great food. The main dining room was OK. The person who books the tours is wonderful and very helpful. The front desk staff appear very stressed most of the time and therefore not open to random questions without appearing frustrated. The facilities are very clean. The pool is nice and the beach is beautiful, but the facilities could use much updating. We went for the warm weather and relaxation, so it met our needs fine.

I stayed here this past week. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and the pool area is a great place to relax and unwind. While the rooms and overall resort could use a facelift, it’s still a nice place to escape from the daily work routine.

The major issues we experienced were with dining. The breakfast buffet was very frustrating. We went around 9:30 a.m., and every unoccupied table was covered with dirty dishes. There was only one small area where staff were piling dirty dishes, and it was located very close to where clean dishes were being placed for guests, which did not seem sanitary.

At one point, I stood by a table that was finally being cleaned, and the staff member told me it was for another guest and walked away without offering to clean a different table or assist me. It felt unorganized and poorly managed.

Dinner was also disappointing. If you don’t arrive before 6:00 p.m., you’re often turned away and told there are no available tables, with wait times of up to an hour. Even then, there is no waiting list or guarantee you’ll get in. We were forced to eat at the dinner buffet multiple nights, and the food quality was not great.

If the resort could improve its dining organization and table cleanup process, it would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. The location and beach are wonderful, but the dining experience needs significant improvement.

Some things to know, very clean hotel, but a bit dated, maid service was daily if needed, lots of activities, bingo on the beach, cornhole competitions, volleyball, dancing and live music, drinks a bit weak but you can enjoy as many as you like. The best bar is downstairs next to the buffet dining room, but doesn’t open til 6:30 pm nightly. High end selection of booze & cocktails. We ate at all the different specialty restaurants on site (3) plus the buffet and the beach grill, all satisfactory, If you go to the specialty restaurants either be first in line, or go late, after 8pm. Beach is amazing, powder sand and beautiful water. Downside..rooms, not well insulated from your neighbors noise, we used our thermostat fan on high at night which worked well, dining buffet has limited seating, go early, some foods are not restocked. All bars are packed, don’t be shy, tips did not seem to make a difference, although I’m sure they were appreciated. No beach rafts or toys, but lots of loungers, beach towels are provided, venders walk the beach, but I found all my deals on line and cheaper. We spent 7 days there and it was fun! Busses run for $2/person and will take you in town, taxi rides are minimum $30 anywhere. Casino is next door and amazing. Overall a fun resort!

The room was so moist the whole time that our clothes wouldn't dry and papers we had started to curl. The location is great and staff is nice, but unfortunately the room made it super uncomfortable. My husband left with a sinus infection. Also, the food service needed help. It was seldom refreshed at the buffet and seemed very dirty, we opted to eat out a lot. Mixed feelings overall, again the staff was lovely. Just might need to find another spot to stay if we return.

Couldn’t check in until 3pm, which is the check in time, just wish it could have been earlier as we had to walk around with our backpacks for 3 hours.
Rooms are outdated, bathroom only has 2 small can lights but we made it work. We we only in room to shower and sleep anyway.

The pool are is generally small, had to put towels on chairs early to ensure we got chairs. I know we’re getting older, but the lounge chairs are so uncomfortable.
Didn’t care for the daily pass purchases and cruise ship people visiting, made it more crowded. They also got staff service at the beach which regular paying guests don’t get.
We were always able to find something okay to eat. People who go to any resort and expect excellent food are unrealistic. NO food options between 4:30 and 6:30pm which was disappointing. Not even snacks. Only one bar open at a time also which was frustrating.
The biggest disappointment was that this ADULTS ONLY resort apparently is a refuge for stranded travelers. On Wednesday night as we’re in the main area enjoying the entertainment, several bus loads of families arrived; lots with young kids making a lot of noise. We saw some kids there everyday moving forward. I inquired at the desk at checkout and she seemed obvious to it saying she would have to check into it. I was expecting a discount for the inconvenience. That didn’t happen.
I’m told 14 years or older is considered an adult.

More staffing is needed at the resort. The wait times to get service were more than 20 minutes. Better quality alcohol selection is needed. Food choices at the Buffett were repetitive. À la carte restaurants should be able to make a reservation instead of waiting in long lineups like herded cattle and then people fighting over who arrived first. The resort is obviously burning their garbage covering patrons and the pool with black soot. No water provided in the rooms. Had to buy water everyday at the gift shop. I’ll never stay there ever again

If you’re older looking for very quiet and peaceful vibes then this is for you.! Boring!!

Very outdated decor, the view from the lobby to the beach is the best thing about this hotel.

I stayed here 4 days 3 nights and only had breakfast here 2x first day when I came and last day. The breakfast is buffet style.

They have a small hot tub which everyone swarms in the afternoon as the pools aren’t heated. The bar by the pool doesn’t play music and starts serving liquor late morning.

If you want just a place it lay your head then it’s great for that. If you’re looking for turn up vibes it’s not here! This resort is for older people who go to bed by 8pm.

Rooms were clean, staffers were very polite and friendly, except at check-in when I booked this stay I chose a king bed and when we checked in they told me they told me I booked a room with 2 double beds I said no that’s not what I I picked after about 45 minutes and phone calls they told me that I will get a king room but had to wait over 2 hours because it wasn’t clean and with no vehicle my wife and I walk around for this time frame, other then this problem it was a great time.

Resort was chill compared to surrounding resorts. Beach was beautiful and laid back with no screaming children, overbearing rules or shoulder to shoulder beach chairs. The building our room was in was a bit dated, but you can’t beat walking straight out onto the beach. Food was ok, service was ok, and overall it was all one hundred percent worth the money.

We reserved a king bed and got 2 double beds instead. The rooms are also dated. Nobody sits you at the buffet so patience is a virtue until you find a table to sit at. There are only 3 restaurants on the site; however, they aren’t open every night (even though it says it will be open). Each restaurant has a certain capacity and once it reaches that there is a waiting period for the next time to dine (ex: 630, 730). Directions are not clear on how to get to the restaurants and reservations are a must even though we were instructed they were not needed. The beach is beautiful, the palm trees provide a lot of shade, and the employees are super friendly and accommodating. Overall, not a bad experience for a first timer to the Bahamas. The resort is budget friendly; therefore, you get what you pay for. I would suggest this resort to anyone looking for a chill, inexpensive experience at the Bahamas, but if you’re looking for the real, boujee resort experience try Baha Mar or Atlantis.

Hotel is very dated. Had to move room as toilet wouldn’t flush….. it was awful!. New room had faults: tv remote didn’t work and also telephone no dialing tone. They had a couple of goes with tv remote which still had problems switching on and off and changing Chanel’s. Phone never got fixed. Entertainment was poor and not advertised properly. No paperwork on anything when you arrived!? Main Restaurant, the food was basic, chewy meats with bones, grizzle etc, also not easy to get a seat. The à la carte restaurants required you to wait for 45min for a dozen or so places we didn’t bother. During the day only the pool bar was open, no proper cocktails with coconut milk and all served in flimsy single use cups, also not easy to get served. In the evening from 6pm the small piano bar opened with only one person serving again not easy to get a drink and very limited cocktails available nothing advertised. The staff were all v good, friendly and over worked from what I could see. We only booked this hotel as I’d been to a Breezes hotel in Cuba over 25 years ago and it was brilliant in all respects. All we could do this time was count down all 10 long days!
