The highlight of my trip was the staff. From day 1 all of them were exceptional. They anticipated my needs and exceeded my expectations multiple times from the front desk staff interacting with my irritable daughter at check in, the multiple housekeepers that asked if I wanted service and asked if I needed anything for the room…to the pool bar hostess who made my dining experience phenomenal. Definitely an overall 10/10 for me and I will definitely book again!

Pretty sure the pics from this property were taken when it was first built. I so wish we would’ve stayed at Margaritaville across the street. We had to switch rooms because the tv went out (traveling with a 12 yr old so we needed the tv) and the new room we moved to smelled like mothballs so my husband had to spray his cologne over and over. Then, the shower water was yellow and the shower handle came off in our hand.
The buffet breakfast was $41. The Bahamas is expensive so no surprise there. The problem with it is they have an omelette station where raw eggs are left out at room temperature from 6am-11am, same with the cream cheese for the bagels. The bowl of water where the rinse the utensils sits out with flies all around. It’s food poisoning waiting to happen.

The staff though was excellent and very nice. Especially Crystal at the front desk!

We walked 5 minutes to Margaritaville everyday to eat and for the amenities there.

Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and stay at Margaritaville or somewhere else.

I'll start off by saying that we would stay here again. The staff was the best! Very hospitable, friendly and helpful. We sat by the pool but didn't use it. The hotel is literally across the street from the beach, so didn't have a need to go to the pool. The hotel is in such a great location--can't beat it. Our view was just beautiful! Restaurants are close--we walked to every restaurant we went to. Downtown shopping is 10 minutes away. With all that said, the hotel is a bit outdated as others stated which is why I can't give it a 5, but again, we'd still stay here again. This hotel served our purpose and didn't cost an arm and a leg!

I booked in March and paid. When we arrived in May there were no rooms available. We couldn’t check in, so we left our bags with the front desk to find dinner.
Frankly, the hotel should have sprung for dinner in the hotel while we waited for a room.
When a room opened up it was comfortable and clean.
The rest of the hotel is looking a little worn, but comfortable beds.
The manager was great, smiled a lot, and if you needed something he was on it.
The front desk staff was polite.

My stay at this hotel was phenomenal! I checked in and manager Clyde was very welcoming and provided a drink as soon as we arrived. I stayed in the Bahamas for 6-7 nights and enjoyed my stay as I felt safe and this hotel is in the middle of many attractions. The hotel provided quick taxis when needed and have great amenities like a pool, quick elevator access, and a big lobby to hang around and eat. Everyone at the hotel was really kind and helpful when something was needed. I enjoyed my stay and recommend this hotel.

Great staff, The front desk staff and management were very nice. Bar staff and restaurant employees remembered us daily and made sure our stay was top notch. Housekeeping did an excellent job assuring we had clean towels, pool towels and all toiletries were stocked daily. Not a newer property but the staff was top notch!

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Courtyard Marriot. Our check-in was very smooth and the staff representative, Thedrea, sorry I'm sure I spelled this wrong but she was wonderful. Junkaroo beach is right across the street and it a local lively beach. The location is very walkable and taxis are always available. The room was smaller but very comfortable with ocean views

I stayed for a short time but the room was nice and clean. I had a cute view of the pool downstairs. The temperature was good in the room. Check in and check out was smooth and the staff was kind. Upon arrival I was offered some rum punch. When I checked out one of the staff assisted me in getting a taxi.

From the moment we walked in the door, throughout our stay, until the hugs when we were leaving, the STAFF was outstanding!!
Great, genuine, friendly interactions during our stay--desk staff, snack shop, restaurant, bar, housekeeping--everyone!!
Excellent stay and the location across the street from Junkanoo Beach was convenient to the beach, restaurants, walking distance to distillery, rum cake factory, straw market, port shops, etc.

The breakfast was not included in the package we had to pay for it. Housekeeping came and didn’t refill the soap in the shower I stepped out of the shower for the soap on the sink and stepped back in and fell down in the tub , I left in pain and am still in pain.

The breakfast buffet was nice. The options changed but we managed to eat breakfast each time. The staff was amazing. They helped with all of our concerns and were super sweet throughout our stay. I don’t have the names of all the staff but we talked to a lady supervisor who was kind. The woman tending to breakfast and dinner. I believe one team members name was Jodean (jodain) started with a Jo she was also amazing. Great stay overall!

Was a little afraid at first due to comments about cleanliness but it isn’t bad at all. Bathroom clean. Shower hot. Good water pressure. No toilet issues. Nice towels. Sink did clog a little. Free water bottles. Comfortable bed. Cold AC. Three different plug outlets. Basic cable TV. WiFi smooth. Refrigerator + Coffee maker. No microwave. Ice machine on every level. Mini convenience store in lobby. Pool hours are extensive. Breakfast is amazing. Not even ten steps from dining/beach. 5 min walk to Margaritaville. 15 min walk to downtown.

They are not all inclusive, you will have to pay for the spa and the laundry service. It is not adults only, there were children there and you can’t even wear an open button up shirt there even tho your ment to be on vacation. They tried to charge me $120 per person to check out 2 hours late and only charged the couple before me $40 for a 4 hours late check out. The booking app for the restaurants only works for about 3 hours daily so if you don’t make it then you have to eat from the buffet which isn’t good or pay out of pocket for something. I was in still am excessively displeased with my stay there and would not recommend them to anyone.

Needs improvement in the appearance of the hotel. The flooring in the room wasn't nice as well as the carpeting in the hallways. The bathtub finishing was peeling off. Lastly and most importantly the heat needed to be on or turned up! the pools were way too cold to enjoy, my kids went in I would of liked to enjoy a swim with them but I couldn't because it was way to cold.

Location is convenient for beaches, Arawak Cay, and other tourist attractions. Walking distance to many attractions such as queens staircase, distillery, fish fry. From checking in the hospitality service was on point, the ocean view room was spectacular. My most memorable experience was the morning and afternoon line staff for breakfast and afternoon bar exceeded my expectations (considering that I myself have been apart of the hospitality industry for over thirty two years.) it was a delight spending time with them. She’s going to kill me that I can’t remember her name Fan——, Daniel and the crew, the lady with the Jamaican accent. Marriott may be a name and a brand but your staff there are the brand in itself. The staff at this hotel were A1! So friendly and helpful. The lobby and pool areas were great, although the street noise when by the pool can be pretty excessive. The rooms were a standard hotel room with newer heat pump-style cooling unit and “hardwood” floors, not carpet. The hallways were the only area needing a good amount of cleaning or redoing. This hotel is in a great location too! Don’t forget, you get what you pay for and this one isn’t too expensive.

The staff were absolutely amazing and super friendly. It is very close to Junkanoo beach, literally across the street. This hotel has a bistro, complimentary coffee, full bar, and small mini store to grab last minute items, and offers beach towels that you can take to the beach. Our biggest and only complaint was there was only ONE elevator working. Thankfully it’s only 5 floors so we used the stairs because the elevator was either too full and took long to get one. Other than that, the friendly staff made us feel very welcomed throughout our entire stay.

I rated it terrible mainly because the hotel manager Nigel. This man was very rude and completely not suitable or competent for his position. I booked 4 nights from February 21-25. After we checked in 10 minutes my daughter found a live maggot on the bed sheet. I wasn’t in the room as I was down there in the lobby. My daughter sent me the pic and I sent to the staff. The booking initially was non refundable, the front staff and the housekeeper manager were nice they apologized for what happened and offered me another room. They explained this never happened before and don’t know where it came from but it might dropped off from the ceiling. However with what happened we just couldn’t sleep in that hotel again so we decided to leave. The front desk staff said the manager Nigel has left for the day but he’ll be in tomorrow and tomorrow he’ll review the incident and there shouldn’t be a problem with the refund. Even one of the staff said she would leave if it’s her with that situation. However the next day Nigel refused to give the refund, he even said “if there’s a maggot then why you daughter still lay on that bed?”. I couldn’t believe he would say like this. This man has no heart he said he protect the hotel image so he denied it, Marriott should let this man go he did no good for the company name. I attached a picture here so everyone can see it from their own eyes.

Booked ocean-view double room for Mom’s birthday; got downgraded on arrival. Promised move next morning—never happened. Chased front desk; one staff brushed me off, but a helpful young lady gave partial refund + breakfast voucher.
Arranged birthday room decoration while we were out 4+ hours—returned to nothing done. Housekeeping said they thought we were switching rooms (despite confirmation we’d stay). Total miscommunication chaos.
One staff member tried hard to fix it, but overall very disappointing for a special occasion.

It was a terrible stay in this hotel. First of all, it’s so far from 4 stars as it’s said in the description. The beach is really near but it’s a public beach, dirty, and to get there you have to pass an extremely busy road with practically no pavement. For 4 stars hotel it should’ve been at least minimally beautify. When you get to the hotel lobby you are knocked down with a smell of a cheap perfume ( like in the public restroom) and it’s staying there all the time. The elevator was broken for the whole time we stayed there and with no further action in the future. The rooms are ok, if you are getting what you booked for( we booked two beds but got one bed and then had to move 2 times). The maintenance of the bathroom leak made us to move for the second time in a week stay. The only good words can be said about the cleaning lady on the 6 th floor unfortunately don’t know her name. So, don’t be deceived by 4 stars and beautiful beach pictures as well as the state of the hotel shabby carpet and overcrowded elevator. ( no wonder when the only one is working) and, to add up to all the pleasantries, the breakfast is $41, which is extremely overpriced.

Building is outdated but the lobby, room itself, and gym were nice. We got to our room and it smelled like cigarettes so we decided called the front desk and had them change it. The receptionist said she was going to check on the next room to make sure it doesn’t smell and she was going to come find us. After an hour of waiting we finally went up to the front and asked if it’s ready to find out the receptionist was just hiding in the back. We get our key and go to the room to find out they gave us the same key to the original room! Finally after calling the desk AGAIN they came up and gave us a new key to the room next door and it was fine. Shower was kind of gross there was mold or algae on the drain stopper. Would not come back again but for the price it’s reasonable.
