Ocean view was great, clean casino, clean around pool areas, overall friendly staff. The resort is so large, that you could spend a week there and not discover everything there is. Restaurants are great. but food and drinks are pricy. even Starbucks is even more expensive there than at home. Only complaints would be poor water pressure in the hotel room shower, bad lighting and area to get ready in your room, upon arrival our room wasn't ready at check-in, and the site maps (because the resort is humongous) didn't always show \"where you are\" location so it was easy to get lost. Nothing to do with the resort, but you also get screwed over with the cab services. They over charge you and you just have to deal with it.

The hotel room was a standard 2 queen room that overlooked the front of the property. Clean room, met our needs. View of the fountains out front, was beautiful. I was worried about not having an ocean view but it was great! The service and staff leave much to be desired. Obviously we encountered several kind and helpful employees but there were more that were grumpy, rude and appeared to be bothered by our questions or presence. The restaurants leave much to be desired. For the cost of everything here, you expect them to at least appear happy to have you. We are not picky, fancy people. We don’t have snobby high expectations or anything, but basic friendliness from hotel staff is expected anywhere we go.

I enjoyed my stay at BahaMar, overall good experience.

A few things I would mention, they did the bare minimum in the room; towels and beds but very little of anything else. They never cleaned the tables, like dirty dishes or glasses. Also our sink in the bathroom kept clogging and it didn't seem like an issue that need attention to them.

The resort is large and beautiful, but it is very confusing as to what you are \"allowed\" to use. There were some pools we could use, but you couldn't use the chairs for example. We got kicked out of areas many times without even realizing we were in an area our bracelet didn't allow etc.
That seemed to be the same experience for many people we had conversations with, and they seemed frustrated by this as well.

The chair situation is rather ridiculous, it is very hard to find a chair you can use. They have so many chairs that are \"reserved\" but there is no one all day using them, meanwhile there are guests roaming around just looking for an available chair. We had to pay someone who worked there everyday just to help us find available chairs. Which I don't expect when I am paying for a stay at a resort.

The restaurants are delicious, just be mindful of the prices, crazy expensive.

This property was amazing in all regards. The service, room design and finishings, quality of food and drinks throughout entire hotel were great. The hotel provided a room upgrade so it made my 40th birthday even more special. Having access to the other hotels and amenities was icing on the cake! Will be back with our kids.

Beautiful property and room with balcony and nice ocean view. The only negative was there were no additional mirrors in the room outside the bathroom and only one plug to plug hair dryers/irons. This was challenging with 4 women.

Rooms could have been cleaner. Sheets and comforters had stains. Pillows were aweful. Bag of trash in our hallway the entire stay! Staff were rude. Came over to kick my daughter off the casino floor. However she’s 20. So he could have politely asked for her ID instead of embarrassing us!

We just returned from a 3-night family stay at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar and overall had a really wonderful experience. The resort itself is beautiful, very lively, and offers plenty to do for families.

The food was a highlight of our trip. Fantastic wine, cocktails, Pizza Lab, the food trucks, and M Café were all excellent and consistently fresh and flavorful. Cinko had a nice atmosphere and good food overall, though we felt some dishes were a bit under-seasoned. Sugar Factory was fun for the family and the food was decent but over cooked.. steak, burger and chicken all dry and overcooked and the service was slower during our visit, likely due to being understaffed, but the staff remained kind and accommodating.

The staff across the resort truly stood out. Everyone we encountered was warm, helpful, and welcoming, and they played a big role in making our stay feel special.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, though they could use some light updating in certain areas. Still, they were perfectly nice and functional for a family stay.

The crowd during our visit was mixed, with many young families and groups. While we personally found some guests to be a bit snobby, unaware of shared spaces and resort etiquette at times, this is more a reflection of individual visitors rather than the resort itself, which was well run and enjoyable.

This resort was too big for my personal preference. I felt like I was in Las Vegas. The nice part, but still. For those who love options, it is probably great. EVERYTHING is very, very expensive. Not all things advertised as \"included\" were available. For instance, they would not allow us to rent paddleboards... not sure why. The staff only allowed a few kayaks at a time, so our group mostly opted not to wait. The \"hammocks\", which looked fun - also not available to us. The beach was pretty packed, cannot IMAGINE Spring Break or a busier time. The water is as beautiful as pictured & the staff was very friendly. The room(s) were nice, feel new, clean. Had to call for room service as they missed one of our rooms 2 days in a row - but may have been our fault for occupying the room at the wrong time? In general - too expensive to really enjoy things. There are more hidden fees than I expected. And as far as food goes, mostly ok. COSTA has delicious food, mediocre service. Huge, impressive resort, but I won't be back - just not my style.

Unfortunately we didn’t love this hotel. It was too expensive for what you get. Long lines to check in, get an elevator and zero chance of getting a pool chair after 9am.
Food was overpriced and it was nothing special. For what you pay there are many better options out there. We won’t be back anytime soon.

Stayed at the Hyatt Baha Mar with my family. So the hotel and design of the resort is beautiful and the food was ok as well. To get a pool lounger is ridiculous to find one . You need to wake up super early and place some personal belongings on them and then wait to get towels at 9:00 am . One day we left our towels on our loungers and went to lunch in at drift close to our loungers , when we returned someone had taken them . When we asked a resort staff they said well not much we can do . Really.. and now we were back walking in circles to find other ones wasting time which we didn’t. End up finding. Then comes the very long wait times to get food from cafes and restaurants even with reservations. Our room was nice but when it came to be turned over and cleaned they wanted to do this at 5:00pm when we were getting ready and taking showers for dinner . Overall I would have to say it was below average in my opinion. I have stayed at other Hyatts resorts which were much more desirable and much more attentive.

I didn't have a good time at all. The hotel was so overcrowded and noisy. Every restaurant was over-priced with generally poor service and okay food. A service charge of 15% is automatically added everywhere. It's impossible to get a lounge chair unless you get up at the crack of dawn and go \"book\" your chair. Not at all my idea of a relaxing vacation.

It's not worth what you pay. The greed of this hotel was outrageous, everything is up priced x5, including cheerios cereal for $13 just to give you an idea of how much you spend on food. You can't get a chair by the pool unless you pay $300 for a reserve (which half of them aren't used so they just sit there empty). Service was ehh, there were some staff members where it felt like a bother to be waited on which obviously isn't how you want to feel when you're paying so much to be there. The room was nice and spacious and I can see where going with kids would be great since there's plenty of them to do. My husband and I were here for our babymoon and I would probably pick a more relaxing place if I could go back in time. Will not be returning.

Room was nice enough but nothing special. There definitely are not enough restaurants to accommodate the hotel at peak capacity. The food is as you would expect at a big hotel. To get any assistance during the day you have to return and wait in ridiculous lines at the front desk.

Beautiful resort overall. Good service and top notch amenities. Food was good, very pricey and not the quality I expected for this high end resort mind you we didn’t do the high end restaurants. Found the common areas, ie. hallways, casino, restaurants, to be too cold. Air conditioning was set to low for our liking.

The resort was so tacky. The casino runs through the entire ground floor/lobby. There is no getting away from it. The food and drink prices are exorbitant. The shops are all very luxury high-end goods. My wife lost her wallet on the first night and reported it to security. We never got a call back as they promised.

The staff were RUDE, other than the dining staff. It was terrible customer service. You felt like everything you did was just annoying them. Food was SO over priced. And I don't mind paying a lot for food, but this was next level pricing. Beautiful beaches and pools. Rooms tired but ok.

Staff are great, rooms great and tons of amenities. The pool scene however was extremely disappointing. Lou’s music everywhere. We specifically chose Hyatt over SLS to avoid the loud party scene. Unfortunately the loud EDM pounding music could be heard from the Hyatt pools. That thumping mixed with the music paying at the Hyatt pools made for a very unpleasant experience. Unfortunately the weather was very windy and cold so the more restful beach was not an option.
Also extremely disappointing that loud music was playing ALL NIGHT on the ground level of the resort on the Saturday night. This could’ve heard all night in our room (inland facing room) which made sleeping difficult. So if looking for a peaceful vacation getaway spend the extra to stay at Rosewood.
