Clean room, comfortable bed and nice amenities. There were a few outlets that weren't working for the four of us, we had to try out different ones to see which ones worked charge our electronics. This place is different since it's all self service. You check in and unlock with codes. Self service for more towels or necessities. If you are looking for a hotel where you have human service professionals available to support you, then this place is not for you.

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with this hotel chain. Booked a King room with a terrace 6 months in advance. We were not told at any point they could not accommodate this. Upon arrival we were given 1 bedroom apartment directly beside the entrance door. Very noisy late into the night, very bright lights from main entrance, no black out blinds, no outside area (one of the main reasons we booked the hotel), no TV for bedroom as we were now in a one bedroom with a living room attached rather than the studio we booked. We were told this was an “upgrade” and were provided with earplugs and a white noise machine. If this had been the only room available at booking we never would have booked here. At nearly $600 per night, I was planning to really enjoy this property. That was not the case. The only compensation offered was “Sonders bucks” only to be used at Sonders properties-not useful at all. Bed was “ok”, but for the price was really expecting something more comfortable. Walking around the hotel, it seemed that other rooms would have had a lot greater potential. However, I feel we were stuck in the worst room of the place directly beside the entrance. This should not even be available as a room for anyone. The evening before check out they offered us another room with a terrace (still no king bed).

Walking into the building, it smelt beautiful and it had a large clean lovely foyer. The apartment was great, had everything we needed and a nice balcony. The bed was huge and comfy. The duvet was lumpy though and the plug part of the bath didnt work meaning i was unable to have a bath. Overall, we would definitely stay in something like yhis again. Good area and close to the beach and all facilities.

Fantastic stay at this property. It was clean, well equipped and local to lots of attractions and amenities. The only complaint, and it’s a minor one, is that the door keypad often required 3-4 attempts before opening even though the passcode was correct. Like I said, minor issue but should be addressed. 5 stars for this place for sure!

The property is in a brilliant location for exploring Vancouver, Stanley Park, Robson street shopping, etc. The beds are really comfortable and will leave you well rested after long days out walking and exploring. The suites are very well equipped with big fridge, microwave, cooktop, dishwasher, sink, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans. Plus thoughtful extras like a white noise machine and ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Ww didn't need or use them, but great to have as an option for those might want them. Our new favourite place to stay in Vancouver!

Communication is tough because it’s all done on the app and it can get a bit annoying but other than that, it was great, parking is off property so be aware of that and it was basically $30 a day

The bathroom was a good size with two towel racks, something most hotels seem to forget. The area was quite with only a small amount of traffic noise from Denman st, when out on the rooftop patio. plenty of restuarant and cafes nearby. It was a short walk to the waterfront and stanley park. I saw plenty of buses on Denman st, so public transport into downtown Vancouver wouldn't be an issue. For the price we paid, this was the best hotel we stayed at in Canada.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and had a patio with greenery. Awesome when you are in a big city. Room amenities with refrigerator, stove meant we didn’t have to eat out all the time. Whole Foods and a Safeway minutes away.

I've stayed at Sonder properties before and value their consistency in quality and amenities. This property had easy check-in, clear instructions, great location next to Stanley Park. The only suggestion for improvement is to offer access to a gym and/or pool.

Kitchenette and table/chairs was helpful for us with grocery nearby for our longer stay. Parking is adjacent, but is NOT included and rather pricey per day. There is no front desk. We had an issue entering on our first day as we were given the wrong code, which lead to quite a bit of frustration. Later we learned that there is someone on property to assist. She was helpful during the stay.

Essentially it is located in a rental apartment building above a mall with grocery and dollar store. There is no concierge. Nice kitchenette but would have to buy cooking oil, seasoning etc. We had a king suite but the room itself was claustrophobic, the pullout sofa bed was extremely squeaky, and the window was looking out to the the pickup roundabout entrance to the rental apartment, despite having Bonvoy membership and having booked a terrace view room. Rooms were renovated and clean but aging already. Tub was also stained and dirty. Mobile key also finicky. Better off typing in passwords instead of tapping.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and in a walkable area. On the down side, there is not a front desk or anyone to welcome you. Very impersonal. Guest arriving are required to go online, download an app, create an account with their app, provide ID, video your face to confirm your identity and then you are provided with a code to enter the building. This is the last thing I need when I drive all day and look forward to getting to my hotel. I will not being staying again and now am concerned about my personal information in facial recognition details in their app. Hotels should focus on welcoming their guest, not cutting corners to save cost.

We loved this place! The rooms were HUGE and had a lovely patio area. It was modern and super comfortable! The bed was extremely comfortable. Location was AMAZING, in the center of a lot of things yet, still very quiet. Check in was a little different, everything was done via the app but it was still really easy, the app clearly explained the process. If I’m in Vancouver again, Sonder is my go to and what I’ll be recommending.
