Yes no heat was on. It was so cold. Only one light blanket on the bed. Not 1 cup in the room to use. The microwave turn plate was broken. The ice machine was not working. Bread and bagels had nothing to put on them, not much else to eat. Don't want to go back there.

Upon arrival to our room the heat was turned off. It was twenty some degrees out and took 3 hours to get the room warm. If you know you’re going to assign a room the heat should be on in winter months. Also there were cigarette burns on our bedding. Old food in the refrigerator we threw away and can tell it wasn’t cleaned with care.

Rips and holes in all the linens, missing a lightbulb in a lamp, light over vanity won’t turn on, room desperately needed a paint job, floor not vacuumed, having to plug in the clock myself, the security lock was missing so we had to put a chair in front of the door, the “breakfast included from 6am to 9am” consisted of granola bars, bananas, and oranges(no cups available near the coffee maker), and no one at the front desk this morning for check out so I could notify them of the issues that we had.

When we first arrived in our room, the heat was turned off and it took 4 hours for the room to warm up to 72 degrees! We had to wear our street clothes and jackets to bed to stay warm. The smoke alarm in the room was covered with a plastic bag. The mattress was lumpy and had springs in it that you could feel. The sheets and pillowcases were well worn and had some holes. We stayed on New Years Eve and the motel was very quiet with not very many occupants. If the bedding had been nicer, and the heat had been on, we would have felt much better about our stay. The room was very clean, as well as the rest of the property.

Bed was comfortable. Fist-sized hole through bathroom door (I was made aware of this before accepting the room). I crashed through the desk chair the first time I sat down on it (it was replaced with a nice chair in an expedient manner). The main light above the vanity did not work at all. The room was clean and comfortable but there was NO ONE EVER at the front desk and there was no phone in the room to call the front desk for help with any issues. As for the complementary breakfast, we were offered snack sized bags of cookies. And the biggest issue was the lack of security! they never asked for ID when checking in OR to get a room key made. So anyone could ask for a room number and get into anyone’s room! VERY DANGEROUS and unsettling!

My room was going to be upstairs but was moved to the first floor with a king size bed and jacuzzi tub. Overall the room wasn't too bad there was some plaster being held up by some decorative push pins and a big crack down a section of the ceiling in the middle. The bed was very thin the mattress was very thin and hard did not like that at all did not sleep well because of that. Otherwise it was clean I didn't use the jacuzzi tub but it otherwise looked fine.

Nightmare Motel Hell
Well check in was fine, but after our first night, partner and I were having a personal moment and the housekeeping MAN walked right into our room, didnt even knock. I felt so violated. We got dressed and went straight to the front desk and the owner to say the least is a greedy and non understanding woman. Wouldnt do anything about it but in fact call the police on us. Said he was fired but still having him work the week. Worst service and stay ever. We couldnt go anywhere else and the police basically stated she couldnt kick us out. Do NOT stay at this establishment. She wouldnt even give us a comp or anything to make us feel good about staying there. Breakfast was horrible. Over charged. Broken toilet seat. Dust. Garbage and change behind the TV. List goes on.

We had two rooms for the weekend. One much better than the other but even with that the good rooms bed didnt have pillowcases, and bedsheets had yellow stains on them. The second room was absolutely terrible! Sign on door says non smoking but the room stank so bad like smoke. Also must of been pet friendly because there was evidence of its feces on the floor. The air conditioner didn't work, the cord looked like it had been on fire. Water barely came out of shower. Do not recommend !

I should have camped in a tent!
Definitely not what I expected for my money ($199/2 nights). Good thing the room had 2 beds as the first one I pulled the blankets back on looked as though it hadn't been changed after last guest. There were no pillowcases on the [blood?] stained pillows which were torn and well past their expected usage. The bed I used was lumpy and very uncomfortable. The WiFi didn't work and the cable TV kept cutting out (good thing I brought a book). On the wall near the toilet was a (drip) stain which looked like it had spots of mold on it. The towels were very old and worn. There was no ice bucket in the room and the hair dryer did not work. The continental breakfast consisted of a Keurig coffee machine, a gallon of milk and a jug of OJ in the small fridge w/one container of yogurt. Where you would expect to find bagels/muffins/donuts were small packages of mini cookies and crackers. My first night I had to call the front desk to have the people/children above me to stop jumping off the beds and running around at 11:30pm. Also at approximately 8:30-9p my room started smelling of some kind of ethnic food (maybe curry/garlic?). It was so strong I had to turn on the bathroom fan and AC to pull out some of the horrid smells! Yes, I should have camped in a tent!!

The motel has great potential but really needs maintenance and a little better service. In our room, the toilet was loose, the light over the sink did not work, WiFi didn't work, plugs world not stay in the outlet near the mirror and there was some random buzzing noise that happened throughout the night. The person at the desk was not friendly, did not give us the WiFi password until we asked (then it would connect but no interest) and they did not answer the phone (around suppertime).

My significant other and I booked a one night stay at this hotel as a halfway point on our trip home the Spooner area. I was really looking forward to our stay in the hotel as I booked a king room with a jetted tub. We had been staying in a cabin riding trails on our Can Am, so the jetted tub sounded like a great way to relax. At check in I was informed that my room was not available. I asked if I could please have something similar to what I booked. She said yes that is what she is looking for. When I entered our room with were given a standard room with two queen beds. NOTHING close to what I had booked. The beds had no pillowcases and when I pulled the sheets back the bed was a wrinkled mess.
I use Expedia to book all my trips. I was extremely disappointment with this room, the condition of the room as well as how I was treated. The following weekend I had to book another hotel stay and was very hesitant to book through Expedia again as I was terrified that I would be placed in a different room once again.

Continental breakfast was a joke. Coffee was left in the coffe marker from previous guest. Holly sheets. Ice marker didnt work. Bed was shot could feel the springs poking you all night. No one behind frint desk had to always call and wait for help when needing anything. Charged 145 dollars a night. I had better sevce and comfort in hotels that i only paid 75 dollars a night in. Very disappointing and a waste of my money.

From the start I want impressed with this hotel. Stood in line with two other customers for over 20 minutes waiting to check in. Could here the lady watching TV on the office. Asked for a first floor room because I'm disabled and was told first floor was full! With 3 other vehicles in the parking lot. No elevator! Free Wi-Fi, had a booklet in the room with Wi-Fi instructions... Call a company fire connection. Informed they don't service this hotel. Looked for the phone in room to call the front office. No phone even tho booklet had detailed instructions. All lamps unplugged in room. Not clean, stains on bedding, broken bed. Water damage on ceiling.

Check-in was weird, she had to call someone to check us in and gave us a handwritten sheet to fill out, as if we hadn't made reservations. The beds only had top sheets, no comforters and no extra blankets available in the rooms. Even with the Don't Disturb sign, they still came in and replaced towels that we were planning on refusing. No one was ever at the front desk and no one answered the phone when we tried calling. Our keycards were disabled on our 2nd night which was inconvenient at 1am after a music festival. But the rooms and lobby were nicely cleaned

Room phone and clock did not work. We left after an hour. Told hotels.com we were leaving and not to bill me. They billed me anyway. Staff was dressed like slobs.

Front desk clerk needs training, seemed like a fish out of water and unaware of reservation. Hotel had no hot water but they did inform us and gave us the chance to cancel with no penalty. We had one problem after another: first my key didn’t work, then the room’s air conditioner was broke and we had to pack up our room to move, then the smoke alarm battery was chirping and they never came to fix it after I called (chirped the whole night!), the bed was very uncomfortable and then the next morning I ran downstairs because there was no shampoo and, surprise, they had no shampoo. Adding insult to injury, she charged me $5.00 when I checked in even though I paid Hotels.com already!!😡

If your looking for a cheap place to lay your head down. This is a good place for that. The inside was nice. The outside needs work. One thing I didn’t like was the breakfast. Breakfast was supposed to be from 6-9. We got out there at 645 and all they had was oatmeal packets. No bowls and the coffee was ice cold and taste like yesterday’s coffee. It probably was. I realize help is hard to find, and I think they only had two people working. But on the bright side McDonald’s is right across the street. So I went there instead

Upon arriving we had to call and wait for someone to come to the reception desk. One of the personnel did help us carry our luggage up the 18 stairs to the second floor, no elevator. The room was pleasant. The AC worked whisper quiet. The beds were springy but comfortable to me and my travel companion. Though the beds had been made, and the floors appeared vacuumed, I did find a few items left by prior guest(s) on the floor. The restroom was supplied with ample towels and sundries, but we had to ask for toilet paper. When we returned 3-4 hour later the roll had still not been placed in the room and we had to ask a second time. The TV had two controls we had to work out. I had to unplug a lamp to plug in the microwave. The display flashed but none of the buttons would clear the display (i.e. rest, clock, timer). So, the microwave did not work. The coffee pots, both in the room and at guest service, were the smallest I had ever seen. Breakfast service, where at least the smallest amount of food articles are typical, given this period of Covid, was nearly nil. There was a fest ongoing Saturday, Oct 2, in a nearby town, thus most hotel/motels were filled, and judging by the parking lot, so was this one. All businesses are seeking help, so I can understand they may have been understaffed for guest service. Though we would be out before 9am, the room still had not been serviced upon returning. One day we were out all day, no service done.

And then the owner gave us keys to a room that someone else had already checked into and then left so he wouldn't have to deal with it.
