The facilities are excellent and the hotel is truly beautiful. The property is very well maintained and visually impressive.

However, there is a significant issue: the hotel does not accept U.S. dollars. As an international traveler, this was quite inconvenient. During breakfast, I only had $50 and $100 bills and no local currency, so I was unable to leave a tip. After that, the servers’ attitude noticeably changed and the service became less attentive.

There was another situation that was even more disappointing. On one occasion, my wife stayed at the hotel while I stepped out for work. She did not have the credit card with her at that moment and attempted to order room service. They refused to accept U.S. dollars and also refused to charge the order to the room for payment upon my return. As a result, I had to send her money through Uber just so she could pay. The lack of flexibility and understanding in that situation felt unnecessarily cold and unaccommodating.

Additionally, the front desk staff came across as somewhat rigid and not particularly welcoming.

Overall, the hotel has great potential, but guest service, flexibility, and a more accommodating approach toward international travelers would greatly improve the experience.

No doubt, the hotel itself is good. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were generally polite and professional. However, my experience regarding the complimentary breakfast and free airport shuttle, as clearly stated on the Expedia platform, was very disappointing.

When I went to the hotel restaurant for my complimentary breakfast, I was told that I was not entitled to it. This was very surprising and embarrassing. I was required to pay 800 Mexican pesos before I was allowed to eat. This situation made me feel uncomfortable and poorly treated.

In addition, the free airport shuttle that was advertised was not provided, and I had to pay for an Uber to the airport myself. This was unexpected and unfair.

I sincerely hope that either Expedia or the hotel will review this situation and provide a refund or appropriate compensation, as this was not the experience that was promised. Overall, it was a very sad and disappointing experience despite the hotel’s good facilities.

Nice rooms very comfortable beds I love everything about them! The staff at this hotel was amazing they always there to help us out and took time to explain everything to us. They have everything real clean and smelling great! I will make this hotel our first choice for us when traveling to Monterey NL Mexico they have amazing restaurants and sights to see by the pool and the restaurant. Location was at a perfect spot walking distance to town and food. I will tell all my friends and family about them if they ever go to Monterey NL Mexico.

Our stay at Plaza Galería Monterrey was a huge disappointment. The room itself was fine… but everything else ruined the experience.

The service was awful: we asked for cleaning and came back to a dirty, stained comforter, an old bleach smell, only one towel for two people, and no toiletries replaced. The next day, despite requesting service once again, in advance, the room wasn’t touched at all. Meanwhile, my sister’s room right next door was cleaned — except they left her door wide open with all her belongings exposed, and no staff in sight.

The air conditioning barely worked, dirty towels were laying in the hallway, and when our toilet got clogged, the staff promised to fix it “immediately.” Five hours later, we returned — and nothing had been done. It was 10:30 p.m. Not to mention the toilet clogged three times during our four night stay.

The staff’s response every time? Excuses and “internal miscommunication.” Never solutions.

A hotel can make mistakes, but indifference is unforgivable. That’s why I cannot recommend this place under any circumstances.

De los mejores hoteles con camas comodas

Ha sido de los mejores hoteles en los que me he hospedado. Tiene una excelente vista desde una alberca que esta en perfectas condiciones. El desayuno bufete está excelente, con mucha variedad y desayno para todos los gustos. El personal ha sido muy amable y servicial. Las instalaciones se ven muy bien cuidadas y las camas están muy comodas. Sin duda me volvería a hospedar en este hotel.

The lady in the front was very rude, the room smelled like somebody had been smoking in it when the lady in the front specified no smoking allowed. And I don’t like the fact that they need to ID every single person staying in the room( that’s just my opinion). The only person that was very attentive was the security guard. He even got my aunt a wheel chair to take her to the room. I forgot his name but he was very sweet

This was my second time staying here and I have to say I’m really upset since the first time I stay here it was amazing with everything. But this time it was totally the opposite. As soon it I walk it didn’t feel welcome and the reception was so rude. The room are not the cleanest like it was the first time I stay here.. the food was ok. Sad to admit but I’m not coming back here no more..
