We had everything we needed for our 4 days stay. The room was large and clean, good quality of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel; we had our towels changed daily. Breakfast was included in our package; we had some misunderstanding with the front desk about free breakfasts in our packages, but eventually it was settled. The hotel conveniently located close to street car/subway stations, walking distance to shopping, laundry, restaurants; close to the Old Port.

Overall, the location was great. Check in/out was great and smooth.

However, I do wanted to point out that the evening staff was rather rude. There werre limited toilet paper and ran out. When calling room service, the staff was not willing to help and said to wait till tomorrow then just hung up.on me without saying sorry or apologize for the inconvenience. My wife needed the toilet paper but she had to end up using napkins for the evening.

Other wise the stay was rather well.

Marseille is a tough big city, and this hotel is a beacon within it. It’s a lovely place to stay in the business center. Their parking partner is great but it is an extra expense, but there aren’t any better options in this central location.

It was pleasure to visit Marseille. The hotel is located on a main attraction street not far from metro. Great restaurants around the area. Note : restaurants are closed from 1:30sh till about 5 . If you have kids or can’t wait till dinner get something to eat before 1pm. The hotel had some snacks but we don’t eat that.
Our kiddos loved kids corner there. Nicely done so parents can take a rest.

Très bon hôtel surtout la petite terasse appréciée par toute la famille. Mon fils a oublié son chargeur iPhone près de l accueil lundi après-midi, il n'a pas pu être récupéré par votre personnel, dommage. Sinon le personnel est bien sympathique à l accueil ainsi que le personnel d étage très poli. On reviendra sans hésitation surtout que l hôtel est à proximité du tramway.

Definitely not a 4 star, more like a 3 star. I liked the spacious room overlooking the port and town. No room service which was unhelpful. Found dust in parts of the room. Overall had a good stay exploring Marseille.

Large hotel with very basic, comfortable, and quiet rooms. The small balconies are a nice touch! Bathrooms are decorated as decks of a ship, given the proximity to the port. Also very close to the Cathedral Major, and the Museum of Art. We’ll definitely be back!

The property picture was deceiving. The lobby is ok the room is big but the single beds seemed to old and it squeak as you moved. The carpet are stained . It does need a bit of upgrading if I may say .the location is great 👍

Arrived early and they took in our luggage so we could explore. Good location for food and drink as close to the docks and Les Terrasses du Port. Good transport links with a tram stop right outside. Nice clean spacious room. Air con could be better though as it was still quite humid at night.

The location of this hotel is great. We walked into the downtown within 15 minutes. This area is up and coming so they are building all around. There is also a mall across the street on the backside.
Our room was really big for our family of 4. The breakfast was great too. I highly recommend this place.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are dated. Toilets and shower are similar to cruise ship. Location is a bit away from Vieux Port but close to the tram and Joliette station. Sadly seems like marseille has gone down hill. Lots of graffiti and dirtier than I remember it albeit 23 years ago. Staff is very friendly and helpful though.

Decent hotel if you don't mind being a walk (or tram ride) from town. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Nice to have a balcony and a bit more room (we had a suite).
We walked from the railway station on arrival after getting the shuttle bus from the airport.
Marseilles was lovely, lots to see and we had a couple of beach days. Definitely recommend getting the train along the coast (westwards).

Fun stay with friends, tram 3 metres from the hotel entrance. Supermarket 5 minutes walk away. Shopping centre 2 minutes walk. Not in the busy area of Marseille but 10 minutes Uber away.

The location is very good. The room was big and comfortable. The falcony is a plus. We can see the sunset with the view from a bit far away from the sea. rooms bright good size (611) with balcony with views towards ferry docks and sea.Excellent sound proofing, no noise from road traffic or trams when doors closed. Aircondition good and quiet.
check in pain free, lifts to all floors.
double bed very comfortable with very good bed linen.
sofa bed 5/10.
fridge, coffee machine and kettle. however to ceramic cups in room!
Aquired some from diner later.
Nearby is shopping, ATMs.
tram outside lines 2+3 , bus 82 from behind hotel , all takes you to vieux port within 5 mins.
walk to vieux port 15-20 mins. LA Panier district 10 mins walk.
supermarket 5 mins away.
comfortable and stress free stay .

On the quiet side of town (though still only a 30 minute walk to the famous, bustling quay) this hotel is close to the brand spanking new/architectural masterpiece, Les Docks Village.
Many shops, cafes, and modern restaurants to choose from; complemented by Les Terrasses du Port, running parallel to it; and which is worth a visit to the terrace alone, for panoramic views of the port.
The Novotel Suites are exactly as you see in the picture: extremely spacious for France. Highly recommended.

The bath is comprised of 2 rooms that are modular fiberglass enclosures. The bath was large however the toilet room was cramped and the fiberglass made it feel more so.

Shower and fridge in room did not work. Stains on room carpet. No parking at hotel - need to park one block away, and little room to park in front of hotel to load/unload luggage. Located about a 25 to 30 minute walk from old port, which is a dark and dirty walk at night. But room was spacious and quiet, and staff did their best to help. Excellent location also in terms of good shopping mall (Les Terraces and Les Docks).

This Novotel is literally across the street from the tram, which can take you everywhere in MARSEILLE! La Terrasse du Port and the Docks shopping centers are literally a street behind the hotel. Everything is so convenient. The hotel is nicely furnished, reasonably priced and the staff were exceptionally helpful. We stayed both at the beginning and end of our cruise trip and would highly recommend this to others.

There is a tram right outside the hotel, literally in front, which takes you to the vieux port for 1.70 Euros I believe. Really cheap! It's only three stops. The big shopping centre (terrasses) is behind the hotel, not far at all. Good places to eat there, including vapianos. There's also the docks shopping centre/bunch of restaurants. Over all really good locations, was able to come back to the hotel and rest and then venture back out again.

We booked Superior room with multiple beds. The room is fairly large, with two beds, one queen size and one twin. The shower room has one shower stall and one tub. The toilet is a separate room with handwash basin which is very nice. Beds are very comfortable. The coffee in room is very good -- the counter has a faucet! All makes feel right and easy. There two closets in the room. The front desk staff speaks English and are very helpful. Parking is close, had to pay extra. not cheap. Very close to a shopping mall. it's much cheaper to have breakfast across the street. Overall, the stay is really good! Recommend to everyone

Family of Four. Really comfortable room. The breakfast was fantastic: eggs, fruits, quiche, croissants, coffee it was really good. The beds were comfortble. Is a 20min walk to Port Vechio but if you don't want to walk the train stops in front of the Hotel. 5 min walk to the Mall, inside there is an Italian Restaurant call Vapiano that we really enjoyed.
