On arrival my room had been changed from a pool view to a car park/sea view which was okay as I got the sun in the mornings. It would have been nice to have an awning but it appeared that my room was one of about five on the complex that didn't so it was too hot to sit out there. The apartments are very basic and are in need of updating. My bed was comfortable however the air conditioning was just blowing out room temperature air which made it difficult to sleep int he nights and I was having to sleep with my balcony door open to get some air and try and drop the temperature. I reported it every day and every day I was told that the engineer had been and fixed it when he hadn't. The system was so old it was defunct and you could see loads of water stains where it was no doubt leaking in the past. There were hairs on the floor when I arrived and it took them two days to disappear so any cleaning wasn't thorough. There ants on the wall by the bed and in the kitchen cupboards. The spatula and other cooking utensils still had food on them from previous residents. They wanted €18 for the safe and a €10 deposit. When I asked to check out an hour later I was told it would cost an extra €20. When I reminded them that I hadn't slept for the entirety of my stay due to the lack of air con and no apology for that lack of air con or any attempt to make it up to me I was given the extra hour for free! How generous! I'd avoid as it's a 2 star really.

This is not a 4 star property, 3 star at best. The rooms are very dated but adequate. Certain areas like draws had crumbs and dirt inside. This seems to be a property that has many pensioners and they must also own rooms here. This is not a child friendly hotel, no inflatables or balls etc allowed in the pool area. The hotel is in a great location but I would not stay again.

Great location on the sea front right next to Puert colon beach. Staff very friendly. Rooms are abit dated like most places in Tenerife but they're very clean. The air conditioning wasn't very good.
I would stay again 👍

Nice, very quiet chilled hotel however feel it’s more based on the residents who own apartments there due to no speakers/music round the pool, no smoking other than a tiny little circle behind the pool bar, couldnt fault the actual rooms in the hotel they was lovely and clean, just could do with being updated as the pool area looks like it has had money spent on it where as the rooms are still very dated, great week away just could do with more of a “vibe”

Hotel is in a really good location, and is close to everything. We were half board but had to walk to a sister hotel for meals because we had no restaurant. Hotel is 75% owned and has a clicky feel about it, especially around the pool. Rooms are basic , and will need refurbishment soon.

Brilliant hotel, had a great room with large balcony and sea view. Lovely pool area with 2 pools. Enjoyed our 5 night stay here. Situated in front of the harbour close to Adeje and Las Américas. Room would have been better to have 2 plugs near the bed instead of just 1. The only thing we was disappointed with was we requested late check out and was told to ask the next day in the morning but if not there was a shower room available for us to use which we was happy with. When we asked the next morning we was told that we wasn’t able to have late check out and there also wasn’t any shower rooms. We then had to go out all day in the sunshine without being able to freshen up before going to the airport. This was very disappointing for a 4 star hotel.

Overall enjoyed the hotel and the holiday.

The hotel is in a great position right next to great night life but not to close to keep you awake at night. Fantastic pool area very clean and quiet. rooms are very big but the only negative was they were very dated and need updating badly. And air con does keep room cool

Very very old studio which has never been updated for prob 20 years in my opinion. Where the four stars have derived from I have no idea. Tiny kitchen is unsafe and quite simply dangerous as I know there are many older people staying in these apartments and studios. Shame on you Expedia, I have been coming to Adeje for 30 years and this is the second worse accommodation I have ever stayed during all these years.

Did not like thefact that Hovima only owned about 30 apartments in the whole building,so the likelihood of getting a good apartment with sun and sea view is minimal as all the good ones are privately owned.I think that this should be mentioned in the advertising as you are misleading the customer into thinking they could possibly get a room with a view.We could not even pay to upgrade as there was none available

Walking distance to Costa Adeje beach

Stayed here for 3 nights. This is not a 4 star hotel in any way. We had booked a studio apartment with two single beds. We got a room in the lower level facing the swimming pool. The room was decent with good beds, basic furniture, basic kitchen amenities like a small fridge, microwave, plates, cups, glasses, toaster, kettle, etc. However, no coffee, tea bags, sugar, etc were provided. The room was cleaned daily which was nice. However, we used to eat out. It might be good if you plan to cook and save on eating. Most of the restaurants/pubs cater to English tourists. However, if you scout some places, there are nice Spanish and Chinese restaurants around. A big plus point was the closeness to Costa Adeje which is just 5 minutes away. Breakfast is not provided in this hotel, but it is available at Hovima Panaroma which was 5 mins away from here and its worth paying 7 Euros for each person rather than searching for something early in the morning. Most of the cafes were closed at 7AM.

The only drawback was that the WiFi signal is only available near the reception area so we had to use 4G to use the internet.

Costa Adje Hotel Club Atlantis

The Hovima Atlantis is an apartment hotel. We had two one bedroom apartments and although the decor was a little dated the rooms were clean and tidy. Everything worked and the staff were helpful.

The main attraction is, however, its location within five minutes walk of beach, Puerto Colon Harbour and all the shops, pubs and restaurants you could wish for but still peaceful for a holiday.

The Club Atlantis apartment we stayed in was cosy and a bit dated but had the most amazing sea views from the balcony and was in a perfect location for us, close to a great selection of bars and restaurants and the beach. The pools and pool area were really well maintained and staff were helpful. The apartment was cleaned daily too.
We loved the location and the pools and this outweighed the fact that the apartment was a bit small for the 4 of us. In fact, we were out and about so much that didn’t matter too much at all!

Close to everthing

The hotel is located on a hill, but close to shopping, restaurants and activities. We managed well and didn't gain weight. The staff at Atlantis was not very good, but there was one female member of the crew that was nice. The room set up was very peculiar. Would have preferred one large bed to 2 twins. We loved the Freebird boat trip to see the Wales. The crew was very accommodating. We also enjoyed the motorbike tour of the island.

Nice hotel in an ideal location, room was always spotlessly clean and the pool area was very nice with lots of sun loungers - they're locked up until 10am but we never had an issue getting two for us. The local area is brilliant - lots of shops, bars and restaurants plus a very short walk from the beach. Toro tapas and grill and Limoncello are fab places for dinner.

Good location, Fab sea view.

Atlantis was very convenient to shops & Mercodona supermarket. Lovely restaurant nearby and apartment had a beautiful sea view. Reception staff were very helpful.
Only downside was loud music being played at a nearby niteclub until early hour of the morning.

Convenient but not a 4 star hotel

This hotel was in a brilliant location and the staff are very friendly, however, the rooms lacked storage space i.e. drawers, dressing table and plug sockets and the beds were very hard with a pillow to match. The views were fantastic and it is in very easy reach of numerous bars and restaurants along with the beach. It was definitely not a 4 star hotel (although it looks like it is from the outside). The pool area in not big enough to cope with the amount of people staying in the hotel and going down at dinner time did not enable you to get a space to put sunbeds. It is a bit hilly there so I wouldn't recommend it for people who have mobility problems or asthma/COPD if they are wanting to walk about. However, overall it was a fantastic holiday and if you can get it at the right price (which we did) I would recommend it whether in a couple, a group or for a family.

Stayed in hovima Atlantis for first week of November. Great location and rooms are clean and a decent size. Air conditioning is non existent with no fan in room, so uncomfortably warm in evenings. Sun loungers are chained up and not unchained until 10am, when there is a sudden race to get the best spot! Also as many appartments in the complex are privately owned it felt like most people had their \"own spot\".

don't book here if you expect to stay here

i had a paid reservation at this hotel 4 months ahead of my trip, but when I arrived they said they were overbooked and moved me to another of their properties. looking at other reviews online, this isn't a unique experience. the other hotel was comfortable enough though quite old and a bit worn, and the Internet was at dialup speeds if it worked at all. disappointed that my reservation, again paid 4 months in advance, wasn't honored and I feel that this is a ploy to fill rooms in their other properties.
