Room was really clean, basic ammenities for self catering included. The only let down was breakfast not having a great cooked meats selection, but cant complain for free. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Would visit again.

Really hard beds, no hot water after the first minute. We thought all the negative reviews were from people who were snobby, but it is the truth - you get what you pay for. Breakfast was good, but lunch/dinner was a real roulette of whether it’d be edible. I wouldn’t get all inclusive as the alcohol was really unpleasant! Wine in paper cups was a real highlight.

Just back from a week here and after reading reviews, we can honestly say we weren’t sure what to expect. However, we had a lovely stay, yes it’s hilly (even the complex) but this wouldn’t put us off staying again. We were fortunate to be allocated a refurbished room and were down by the pool and restaurant. The food was usually nice and we could always find something, if you’re looking for nuggets, sausages etc for lunch/dinner for kids then it’s maybe not for you. Drinks were ok and drinking from a paper cup not great but we just went with the flow. The complex was clean, staff were always friendly and put up with some abuse from customers at the bar and restaurant which was unpleasant to see. The only thing we could fault was that we wanted to rent an air con unit for the room but were advised from companies that Laguna Park 2 do not allow them even though they have provided insurance documents as required so we hired an extra fan from the gentleman as it was cheaper than the hotel. Also, the beds are on the firm side.

Laguna 2 was very clean throughout The apartment was also clean and comfortable.Food at restaurant was good and varied and staff were friendly and helpful.The only letdown was the condition of the resort itself and although very clean it was in dire need of a major overhaul.

The rooms were dated but very clean, and spacious for two people, and the views were amazing from some rooms. As you could see down to the pool and the sea leading to one of the other islands, but it’s not worth all inclusive as the food wasn’t always worth having, little supermarket round the corner works to be cheaper. Some staff were okay, if you needed a taxi they’d call and it’d be here within minutes. Night time bar staff were very friendly. They just didn’t communicate with one another properly and would tell guest difference answers. It’s not fully disabled friendly, but there are lifts available as it’s full of steps and steep slopes.

There is a lot of uphill walking in the hotel but after informing them before hand about my reduced mobility they gave us a room that reduced the uphill climb. The pool was very nice with plenty of sunbeds a bar and cafe and a baby pool. Staff were very nice and helpful. There is a free shuttle service to and from the local town area. The rooms could do with a refurb but all in all it was a cheap spur of the moment weeks holiday and we would go again.

We have stayed here a few times now and can't fault it by any way shape or means. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were a bit wary this time when we arrived as my husband isn't very great at walking long distances without having to rest as he has breathing problems. We were put down by the pool which was great as wasn't too far for swim. But long way up to go out for the evening The added bonus was that there was lift as that was a great benefit so we managed just fine and had a fantastic holiday as always

Basic with some highlights

LP2 is a bit dated and is very much aimed at the 3 star all inc market, there is good value to be had if that's what your looking for, the rooms are basic but clean and the entertainment in the bar is better than many Ive seen, the hotel is on the side of a steep hill so you really want to try and get a room in rows B or C or it will be a bit of a climb....I've used the place twice and would do again, there are a couple of good local Restaurants, El Molino and Fagans Eating House if you fancy something a bit upmarket one night

Pool is great; however the room configuration is in now way suitable for any more than two people. The staff are friendly but while we stayed there was brown and yellow water coming through the taps - with no warning from any staff who also advised not to drink the tap water generally. The rooms are sparsely furnished with no coffee maker. The rooms are cleaned 3 times a week. Most of the buildings are well or very well painted, making the whole place look nice.

Well, we had to call reception because some crazy ppl decided to start singing as a group of 20 as loud as they can. That was at 2 am and at 5 am. During the second call I threatened the reception to call the police if the dont solve the problem. The sent actuall someone every time asking the guys stop making noise....
And another big problem is they at hotel didn't have internet at all, even at the reception...not as advertised making us use costly 3g internet.

ROOM INFESTED FREEZING POOL

POOL FREEZING when asked told they do not heat the pool in winter. One person all holiday used the pool and the hotel was full. We paid half board and had to pay for a drink of water with the meals. Last the family go to Tenerife several times a year and you expect bugs and roaches but this room was INFESTED.......... Sorry but never again for this hotel.

Cockroach infestation!!

Unfortunately I can't give a good review about this place apart from that the staff were good. We had hundreds of cockroaches in the first room that didn't come out till late. We got moved. And then the next room in the morning that was far away from the other also had a cockroach problem. U can understand a couple... But hundreds...!????? It was not nice.
There was stains on sheets and curtains, and both rooms we were left to make up our 3rd bed (baring in mind we booked it as 3 sleeping) it should be done.
No tea/coffee etc to make a drink in arrival. Limited kitchen utensils which if self catering would be a problem. Not even a tea towel. Room was very basic which I wasn't expecting any more from it for the price how ever couldn't even use the tv without putting money in it.
Glad we were not all inclusive as the food looked not so nice. Pale burgers came out and it didn't make me want to eat there.
The pool area was tired and was dirty at the bottom of the pool. And the pool was certainly not heated.
Rarely saw a life guard attending the pool which considering the amount of children I was shocked.
The man on the snack bar was very nice and fab with my son. The manager on duty that night we were there was really good as got us moved immediately. And luckily was also working the next morning when I had to complain again about the second room. She was very nice and offered the money back which was what i was wanting.
Thankfully we were only staying one night and then going!

Room was not good, not cleanly maintained, we faced bed bugs honorable holiday trip in my life.

NO help from hotel, suffered for 1st 4 days of the trip and after lot of requesting by showing bed bug spots on hand got changed to a different room on day 5th out of our 6 days stay.

In the room Hot water was not coming regularly, telephone was not working, no enough blankets, house keeping was once in 3 days.

Hotel manager is never available to sort the problem he is always away, at reception they state they cant do any thing.
Manager available at 12noon thats what they say, i could not make it at that time but never got a chance to see the manager.

Food at hotel is not good, i personally never tried but that's what i have heard.

Parking at hotel is very limited max 15 cars can fit, need to park off road every day, that was another problem every evening.

No Wifi in hotel, they say wifi is available but its only at reception area, most of the time it doesn't work.

I would strongly recommend not to start at this place.

Had the basics

The hotel was great in some respects but poor in others. The hotel was well maintained but the furniture in the room wasn't- the bed was hard and the sofa was old and lumpy. Everywhere seemed clean but the kitchen had ants. Bar staff were fantastic but entertainment left a lot to be desired. Easy walk down to the beach, but walking back was impossible for all but the extremely fit, it was a struggle at times just to walk up the hill from my room to reception, very steep!

A week in the sun

This is a typical budget holiday resort hotel. In need of a bit of tlc but at the same time not in the worse of states.
The reception area was well manned and when we had a problem ( the water heater gave up the ghost) the staff reacted very quickly.
Reasonable value for money but nothing more than that

I received frosty welcome at reception from unfriendly and impolite receptionist called Irena.

The room was dull and dark. The kitchen had minimum utensils. The television didn't work. The walls were paper thin and I could hear conversations and party from next door.

Laguna Park is situated on steep hill, 20 minutes walk from the beach.

The room was very expensive and I did not get value for money.

Pay a few euro more and stay elsewhere.

STAY AWAY!!

My title relates to the clientelle. As it is fairly cheap you would expect some people like this, but not that many. Every single person at this hotel sounded like they had come from a council estate and we boasting about it. Even the children (who should have been in school) at an age of 10 were swearing. My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights for some sun and 5 nights was far too long. We paid for half board, however we only ate 3 meals at this establishment. For evening meal there were near enough two choices. The food is satisfactory if you like chips with everything. Yes, including breakfast!!

The reception worker was not very welcoming, she seemed annoyed that we had disturbed her. There is a maintenance man here called Daniel. He was THE most helpful and sincere person I have come across. Nothing was too much effort. He brought us a kettle, a bottle opener after seeing us struggle with the one we had and he also had to wash out our fridge as it was leaking! The maids were very helpful also.

UNFIT people stay away!! It is a very spread out complex on a 45 degree angled hill! I am a regular gym goer and I struggled! I got home a week ago and my legs have only just recovered!! This place has put me off ever going three star again! I did not expect it at all. The apartments are run down and everything is falling apart.

You get what you pay for!

We booked 2 nights at Laguna park 2 to extend our stay in Tenerife. While we didn't expect a top range apartment we did expect more than what this hotel offered. The room was very basic with limited cooking utensils in the kitchen. Towels in the bathroom are provided but not even a bar of soap! The hotel is within walking distance of the beach if you are reasonably fit especially the return climb up the hill. There is a free bus service from the hotel but times were limited. The layout of the complex is strange, reception is located above the apartments leaving a long walk up and down for some of the apartments at the bottom end. The apartment we were given was probably one of the furthest away from reception and looked out to a small patch of garden, a brick wall and balconies of another hotel.
The pool area was fine with plenty of sun beds available. We cannot comment on the entertainment as we did not go to this.
Overall, staying for 2 nights was enough, we would not have wanted to have a full week at this hotel in this apartment. There were other larger apartments which may have been better equipped. As our title says, I guess you get what you pay for.

Apartment is very basic. It was reasonably clean, but we had to give it once over ourselves! Utensils in kitchen were very limited, but we managed as there was only the two of us. Beds were basic, had to fix legs on both of them, would liked to have had a double!! I found staff pleasant and helpful whenver we needed assistance. Location would not suit anyone with breathing or mobility difficulties...it is located high on hill and this is also reflected within the complex itself. However we had no problem with it. The view was wonderful :). Entertainment every night, some good some ok, but always excessively loud!! Overall, its a 2 star complex, and thats what we paid for, so dont expect anything more. We enjoyed our stay and have nice memories. We would probably go back again. :)

Quite far from the centre

The hotel was OK for the price that we paid which was cheaper than most hotels around. A website told us we were a 3 minute walk from the strip and we really weren't. We tried to walk as much as we could which was difficult as the hotel was also on a very high hill. All in all I think it's worth spending an extra few quid on a different hotel if you want to be close to all amneties as you end up paying for cabs anyway. The room itself was quite dirty and dark with a broken clothes rail, 2 lights not working and a broken stool. The hotel on the outside looks great ( besides the pool - aso VERY dirty) neither of us went in there or the whole of the holiday.

Had a brill week at Laguna Park 2. Staff on reception and in the dining room where really good. Staff in the bars do tend to ignore all inclusive guests. Personally I didn't let them wind me up, some guests got really upset by them. I just made myself impossible to ignore :-) They where never 'rude' just a bit ignorant.
Food in the restaurant was great, we were originally self catering but upgraded to all inclusive when we saw the quality of the food, the price 17.50 euro each per day, and the thought of that hill to the nearest restaurants. Well worth the money for the upgrade, all our drinks and nice food for 17.5 euros a day. We WOULD go back there again just for that option of the upgrade. Free bus to the beach was also great but finished at 5pm. Resort, waterparks and weather all fantastic for January, we loved our holiday.

Laguna Park 2 in Costa Adeje - Great Value

We have stayed at Laguna Park 2 on three occasions the last being early November 2011. The studios or apartments are great value and come with fully equipped kitchens. Very affordable meal deals can be booked during your stay. It is possible to add on breakfasts or half board for as many or few days as you wish. There is a fantastic large pool as well as tennis, football and squash courts. There is even crazy golf on site. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful and the housekeeping staff provide a great service. The entertainer does a great job arranging small sporting events during the day. During the evening she acts as compere to live acts and also organises quizes and bingo etc. The whole team including the people who run the pool bar and alo the lifeguard are all very friendly and do an excellant job. What are the negative points? Well, some people might moan about the hill up from the main resort. There is a free shuttle bus to take you backwards and forwards and at other times there are affordable taxis so it shouldn't be a problem. On the plus side the location means that you are well placed to enjoy fabulous views of the sunsets over the sea. The view from the terrace outside the bar is breathtaking. The rooms could be considered ready for a refurbishment but the rooms are clean and there is an on site maintenance guy to deal with any problems. If you want an affordable stay that ticks all the boxes then I would highly reccomend Laguna Park 2. I'll be back.

we were delighted with the welcome we were given We thought we would only have a hotel room so we were very pleased with our apartment and we were well looked after by the ladies who cleaned our apartment. The entertainment was terrific a real family treat. Restaurant was of a high standard. We have told our family and friend of your hotel and recommend it for a great holiday. Our only regret was that we had only booked for three nights. Hope to see you in the future

Las camas se hundían al acostarse, entraba mucha claridad en la habitación y por mucho que extendieses las cortinas no eras capaz de ojo. Pagamos mucho dinero por un alojamiento sin nada incluido y ni jabón para el cuerpo había en los baños. No hay cartel para poder colgar en la puerta en caso de no querer q entren el personal de limpieza y de hecho, una mañana nos despertamos con una chica de la limpieza entrando. No volvería a alojarme en este hotel ni tampoco lo recomendaría. ¿Lo único bueno? La puesta de sol.

Smuk beliggenhed med udsigt over hav og bjerge. Rummelig lejlighed med stor altan. Køkkenet lidt for spartansk indrettet.
Grundig rengøring hver anden dag med skift af håndklæder og hver fjerde dag af sengelinned. Venligt personale.
Rigtig god plads med mange solsenge ved stor pool. Den var dog ikke opvarmet!
Hotellet ligger højt, hvilket betyder, at det kan være problematisk for gangbesværede.

Trevligt område, bra bemötande av personal och relativt fräscht boende. Ligger ganska högt upp, kan vara en tuff backe för äldre eller under en varm dag. Bra att bussen går ända upp till lägenheterna. Däremot väldigt hårda sängar

Hej - rum med möblerad balkong med utsikt över staden blev entre med stol och bord och ingen utsikt alls. Gratis WIFI fanns bara uppe vid receptionen i Gameroom. För att komma dit fick man gå först c:a 100 steg i uppförsbacke och sedan ytterligare mer än 100 steg i brantare uppförsbacke. otalets beskrivning överensstämde dåligt med hur det var. Det fanns ingen tvål, ingett schampoo, inte en disktrasa. Det var helt enkelt inte prisvärt.

-Nos dieron una habitación en el que el acesso era con escalones, bastante incómodo para bajar y subir el carro de bebé.
-No nos pusieron cuna.
-No había productos de aseo personal.
-En 3 días solo una vez pasaron a limpiar,con un bebé es poco higiénico.
Puntos positivos.
-La ubicación del hotel esta bastante cerca de los cristianos.
-El trato del personal es muy bueno, son muy amables.
-El buffet esta bien, pequeño pero con variedad.
-La piscina es muy espaciosa.
Nos fuimos con un sabor agridulce, esta bien pero hay algunos puntos que se pueden mejorar para que sea una estancia muchísimo más agradable.

God oplevelse. Man får hvad man betaler for.

Samlet set var vores ophold på Laguna Park god. Man får hvad man har betalt for, men ikke mere. Personalet var SUPER flinke og gode til at hjælpe. Beliggenheden er i et roligt område, så et godt sted at bo som familie. Laguna Park ligger dog oppe på nogle stejl bakker, så man skal ikke have gangbesvær. Lejligheden så ud som på billedet, den var ren, men slidt. Der var meget koldt om natten, men vi spurgte om flere tæpper, som vi hurtigt fik uden problemer. Som sagt var personalet rigtig søde til at hjælpe og der var massere af muligheder for at komme på udflugter derfra. Der ligger et lille \"Supermarket/minimarket\" med alt det nødvendige. Det tager ca. 20 minutter, at gå til stranden derfra og på vejen kan man finde mange andre minimarkeder og restauranter. Deres swimmingpool er ikke opvarmet, men er ren og fejler intet. Ved swimmingpoolen er en lille bar, og gratis liggestole. Der var IKKE wifi på vores værelse, det skulle man sidde i receptionen eller i spillerummet for at benytte. Alt i alt var det en helt fin oplevelse og man får hvad man betaler for

Vi fikk en leilighet uten snev av sol eller utsikt. Terassen lå rett ut mot der masse folk passerte når de skulle ut eller inn av sine boliger. Det verste var bråk fra briter som festet dag og natt uten å ta det minste hensyn. Det ble klaget på dette flere ganger uten at det bedret seg særlig. Fullt av maur, lå på en bakketopp, så vi måtte ha taxi når vi skulle hjem fra byen. Oppholdet var tidvis et mareritt, selv om vi er vant til litt av hvert. Det er mulig vi fikk den dårligste plasseringen der de plasserte alle ranglene da vi gikk for laveste pris. Dårlig Internett kun i et rom med masse spilleautomater.

Grymt prisvärt hotell! Fräscht och fint för att inte ha så många stjärnor! Havsutsikt och städning nästan varje dag! Fanns alltid fri parkering nära! Trevlig personal! Dock var poolen inte uppvärmd och när solen inte låg på så var det för kallt att bada där! Men relativt nära till stranden ändå!
