The hotel still looks ok but my apartment felt dated. Nowhere to charge phone near the bed, the sofa or dining table - annoying. Front door was stiff / heavy to open. Water pressure out of the shower was excellent though.
Food was a bit disappointing. A couple of nights I struggled to pick food I wanted to eat. It is a family hotel so the dining room was generally loud. Coffee was so-so.
All the staff were good, particularly in the restaurant.

5th or 6th stay - I've lost count. The staff as ever courteous, friendly and helpful. The room spotless every day. Excellent size pool, plenty of loungers (no need to play \"place the towel\"). Good choice of lunch at the adjacent snack bar.

We had such a fantastic stay at this hotel in Tenerife! The place is huge, with lots of rooms and bungalows, and even though it’s a bit older, it truly has everything you need for a perfect holiday. Rooms are very clean. The swimming pool area is massive, with an outdoor bar, a kids’ pool, and plenty of space for children to play both in and out of the water. In the afternoons kids also can play in a lovely playground for the little ones.

Breakfast and dinner were honestly the best I’ve ever had in Spain. So much variety and everything was delicious! I especially loved the fresh bread buns – soft inside and perfectly crunchy outside (definitely not hard, as some reviews say). Dinner was full of options: different meats, fish, seafood… everything tasted amazing. Even my partner, who is quite fussy with food, was eating three plates every evening!
We also liked that here is the gym, it is not big but it’s good for holidays to do some workouts.
The evening shows were a highlight for us. One night there was a circus-style performance, another night acrobatics, and even a magic show. Before the main show, there was a fun mini disco for kids, which they absolutely loved. The drink prices at the bar were also very reasonable.

The staff were friendly, fast, and always helpful. The hotel’s location is great too – close to the beach, restaurants, bars, and perfect for a nice evening walk.

Overall we had a good stay at the GF Isabel, we had a 1 bed apartment which had enough space for a family of 4, the hotel had enough sun beds, pools and bars .. etc. Only down points were that the kids couldn't use floats in the pool and the half board / full board options are very limited for vegetarians.

Absolutely gorgeous, what made this hotel so special was the staff. They were so dedicated and amazing.
We will return. The food was incredible, the housekeeping staff were exceptional and the bar/restaurant staff were so professional and fast even though my husband insisted to practice his terrible Spanish with them.

Cleanliness was excellent. Plenty of space in the apartment. Got woken up a couple of nights by neighbours moving chairs around on the tiled floors which reverberates through the building. Also interconnecting doors with other apartments have little sound proofing. Finally, I was half board and evening meals were a bit hit and miss (one evening of the 4 I went to a restaurant as the food offer was not appetising in GF Isabel).

Hate to be too critical because we only stayed there one night, but we ran into a few issues:
1. Upon entering the room, we were blasted by the smell of a cleaning agent that required us to open windows and the front door for a couple hours to air out.
2. Didn't have time for breakfast because of an early-morning flight and asked to buy a coffee at the breakfast. I was told I would have to pay for the full buffet price to do so. Only alternative, I was told, was to wait until the bar in the lobby opened at 9 a.m., after I was gone.
3. Maid service knocked on my door before 8 a.m. to ask when we were leaving. Full disclosure: I hadn't put the \"do not disturb\" hanger on my door, but shouldn't the attendant check with the front desk to see if the room has been vacated?

None of these things was a deal breaker by themselves, but put together it didn't add up to a great stay.

I booked an apartment but I was upgraded to a bungalow, which I thought was nice. It was clean, comfortable, and the hotel has a good breakfast. The big problem is that this hotel does not care about guest safety or security - on the second morning I returned from breakfast to find a man in my bungalow - he had ignored the \"do not disturb\" sign on the door. He was replacing an electrical socket, which he said was very urgent. The hotel thought this problem was so dangerous it must be fixed without asking to enter the room, but they let me stay in the room with a faulty electrical power point for two nights, and they did not tell me!! I had used that power point for two nights to charge my laptop. They do not care about guest safety. If this happened in the UK I would report the hotel to the Health & Safety Executive. The man also entered my room without the hotel notifying me, so the hotel also does not care about guest security.

Second time at GF Isabel and fully enjoyed it again! The buffet breakfast is fantastic, and meets all dietary requirements. The pool is lovely and the sunbeds/umbrellas are plentiful, no need for the early morning towel dash! Shops and restaurants are within a 5 minute walk. Will be back!

We stayed in a one bedroom bungalow. There was loads of room with a huge bedroom. Cleaning staff came daily and replaced towels.
Air conditioning wasnt very powerful.
Overall the bungalow would benefit from an upgrade and an oven would have been useful, but it didnt spoil our stay. The GF Isabel is very child friendly with lots of activities for families.

Hotel is good but is WiFi and food quality is not

The hotel is good but it is lacking with regards to WiFi and food. The WiFi is almost non existent. It connects and disconnects the whole time and the WiFi rate is close to zero. Breakfast and deserts are fine but quality and variety of buffet is not very good. Therefore the average rating is 3 stars out of 5

3rd time at this hotel. This was a solo trip cycling. Rooms are good if a bit dated and lack of power points. Beds are basic. Main disappointment was evening dinner which i added to my trip this time instead of just breakfast. Drinks not included even soft drinks and water which is ordered through staff. Some nights no one even bothered to take my order. Also the staff at dinner are distinctly unlikeable rushing around removing plates and food when not finished. Wont be back as i found a nicer hotel nearby.

We had a very enjoyable stay in an apartment at GF Isabel. The hotel and grounds are like walking in a traditional Canarian village and the location is quiet but only a few minutes walk from transport links. Our apartment was large with comfy beds and plenty of storage. We didnt do much cooking but the fridge and kettle were handy. All the staff were friendly and helpful and greeted us with a smile. We chose the half board option which included a good choice of mains and salads, with a theme each night. The breakfast was also tasty with an option of an early breakfast with less choice but handy for when you have an early start. Coste Adeje is a great location and would recommend this hotel for a good value place to stay. We have booked Isabel again for January 2025 for an extra week to escape the UK winter!

Had a lovely week at GF Isabel over Christmas. The bungalow (an upstairs one) was spacious and spotlessly cleaned on arrival, and every day we were there. There was a decent sized, private terrace area with beds and a table/chairs. The main pool even though outdoors (and in December) was warmer than my usual indoor pool at the gym here in Scotland! More than enough sunbeds for everyone so there was no need to do the early morning towel dash to bagsie one! Breakfast buffet had a multitude of options, most items are labelled with dietary info e.g. gluten free, and there was soy milk and yoghurt for those who are dairy free. Staff were all pleasant and helpful throughout. There are 2 shopping centres nearby, both have a Dino supermarket. Highly recommended!

Despite requesting a room with minimal step to climb due to my wife’s lung condition our initially allocated rooms was only accessible via a large number of steps, only after a considerable time we eventually were given a room with required a lift to enable our access. Obviously my request was ignored. Other than that the stay was excellent.

Like Time Travelling Back To The 1980's.

Overall a nice hotel, but the rooms/decor are still stuck in the 1980's but it is very clean and well maintained. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a villa too with it's own garden and plunge pool.
It was a little annoying in this modern day and age there are no plug sockets near the beds and certainly no usb charger ports, so take a long cable if you need your gadgets by your bed.
We enjoyed our time here, but probably wouldn't visit again as it's just too old fashioned for our tastes.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and happy. The food options were great, in particular we enjoyed lunch options at the pool bar. The pool itself was very good. The room offered us 2 rooms and a mini kitchen which suited us very well. The hotel was very child friendly which meant we had everything we needed and were put at ease by presence of many other families. The hotel grounds are well kept and maintained, the plants are lush and beautiful. We would definitely stay again and recommend this place to friends. Thank you so much for such a warm welcome.

Ocean view can be provided just from few apartments...from bungalows you cannot see ocean ....for family you have everything on site, a lot of advertising. The staff is is amazing and correctly for them 10 stars. A little bit difficult access with baby stroller because everywhere stairs.

The food was terrible, the selection was poor and resembles a 2 star. I had to send back food twice chicken and also my child’s burger both under cooked.

The service during the shows for drinks was also poor which was disappointing as I was All Inclusive and feel I got no value for money. I upgraded on arrival which was a mistake.

The hotel has put various measures in place during COVID-19 and it feels clean and safe.

Stayed here this time last year, everything still fine and staff very friendly and pleasant. Our room was quiet, which suited us, but consequently was quite a walk from Reception. We had a swimming pool that was away from the main busy pool and was relatively quiet and comfortable as well.
It's fair to say that some of the furnishings in our apartment were a little worn and perhaps could do with an update. But it was kept very clean and tidy by the maid service.
Overall, we enjoyed our Winter break and would stay here again.

Lovely warm clean large main pool,Reception staff very helpful,had problems with keycard and safe both fixed quickly.Cleaners in every day,daily change of towels.Kitchen area basic,only 2 rings,microwave, toaster and kettle.Fridge noisy at night,1 of us slept on couch, didn’t ask for move as had roomy apartment and good sized outdoor area on a terrace which was lovely to sit out on at night.Bathroom was large,clean plenty of hot water.Didnt use restaurant.Drinks in bar not great maybe because of all inc options,Entertainment was good from what we saw,only watched 21.30-22.30 as there with disabled daughter who has difficulty staying up any later.Not much entertainment early evening in resort so prob better to stay at hotel .Entertainment at poolside during the day was good,lots to do and didn’t feel pressurised if not wanting to join in.Used salon ,my daughter had a manicure and pedicure,lady was lovely and patient with her.Supermarket next to hotel,was ok. Not best selection of fruit and veg but we managed to cook a few meals from there.Ate at pizzeria and slow boat Chinese at shopping centre to right as you leave hotel,both were better meals than we had along the front.Are a lot of steps in complex but there are lifts so not a problem.Didnt want to come home after 10 days ,wished we’d stayed for 14 days.Would definitely stay here again.Used laundry,5 euros ,detergent provided .Go on Ragnarok viking ship,most fun I’ve ever had on a boat trip,saw whales and dolphins.

We stayed here for 1 week and I could not fault this property the cleanliness,variety of food, the entertainment activities for young and old was amazing. This property was even more than I expected. I had a 12 and 15 year old and said this was their best holiday and would have no hesitation in coming back. The beech was only about a 6 min walk from the hotel and all amenities were nearby.

We are from USA and we wanted something different from the Caribbean. It was our first time in Canary Island and we loved Tenerife. The hotel location is great. It is not a luxurious hotel but has everything you need. The small apartment is very cozy and It has everything you need. GF Isabelle has several pools well maintained. Also, it has small shop where you can buy some essentials. However, GF Isabella is located very closed to a supermarket. In general we had a great stay.

Very friendly staff at GF Isabel, apartment was cleaned and fresh towels provided everyday. Brilliant location only 10 minute walk to the beach and bars/restaurants. Supermarket just 2 minutes away with a selection of other shops. Excellent selection of food and drink at breakfast time and plenty of space to sit. Pool area was lovely and always plenty of sun beds to choose from. Animation staff very enthusiastic and they let everyone know around the pool area what activities were on and at what time, such as water aerobics, pool bike, sup yoga, darts etc. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would recommend for couples and families.

It’s a basi, simple and sufficient hotel. Our room didn’t have much privacy. The third bed was a very hard sofa and very uncomfortable. The size is if the apartment is great and the kitchen very convenient.
The hotel is just 5-10 minutes walking distance to the promenade and beach.

an excellent hotel the staff are very friendly and helpfull food good plenty of choice the only downside
to this hotel is you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet which is a bit 3rd world

Good hotel

Hotel was good, a little dated in areas, but they are renewing a lot of rooms.
Our room was quite far from reception though a good walk. Pools were nice, heated, could do with a indoor pool however when weather is bad.
Overall hotel experience was great, food, for breakfast was great too.
Outside area quite a walk to restaurants and bars. Very commercial

Good, Comfortable Stay.

The apartment had everything you need, cable TV, air conditioning, microwave, daily cleaning, refrigerator and balcony. The adult area was quiet and had lot of sunbeds. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this place to all.

This is a lovely hotel with 3 pools and pool bar open 10-6 plus very friendly staff,I'm going to a sister hotel in August GF Fanabe,only because it was pre booked but wouldn't hesitate going to the Isabel again

Old and bad condition.. needs refurbishment.. bathroom old, shower and tap both needed new cap, old moulded tiles... appliances just Abt to give up... Ants everywhere... in nutshell not value for money...
