The hotel is really nice. Clean rooms beautiful water views. The area is really central but a bit tacky - lots of pubs, restaurants and bars with neon signs. The playa Del Duce area is much nicer.

Room was ok but a bit dissapointing for a 5 star = the bathroom toiletries were like any other Hotel in plastic bottles some were hard to us pressing down on the bottles to release the soap glad I took my own /also no waste bin in the bathroom. Had to ask for milk for the fridge although some people went out to buy it, surely for the price paid they should have been checked daily - the food was also only warm - not a lot of vegetables except Christmas day, there was a good variety of food for different nationalities who staid there -also having to pay for water with your evening meal? Nice looking hotel but also came with various problems

Great facilities, lovely staff at checkin.

Two small issues though. Cockroach scuttled under the bed when we entered the room, so better checking required.
Also one of the reasons we booked through Expedia was the inclusion of a free bottle of wine, welcome drinks and a food voucher.

We only received the welcome drinks. Although these were appreciated and the welcome was warm.

So much thought has gone into the running of this hotel. Right from the moment we arrived we received fantastic attention from staff, all of whom were cheerful, helpful and caring.

Our room was amazing, with a huge bed and magnificent view. Absolute comfort was ensured.

Food was delicious, in great quantity and with various cuisines. We went for the fully-inclusive package and wouldn't hesitate to do that again.

The pool was inviting and we appreciated the ease and stress-free management of booking sun-loungers!

The property was 5 star adults only. But its grounds were limited and its rules were unnecessarily restrictive. For instance we paid for a late checkout to 2.00pm. But we couldn’t have our all inclusive available during that time. We could also not have any al a carte dining during the 5 days we stayed whereas when we go to Sandals, the AI Is available right to the time of leaving the hotel.

The hotel was awesome with lots of amenities on offer. Loved that they have their own app where you could reserve your sun bed for the day. All-inclusive was offered on arrival which I paid for, however, I only ate 3 times in the restaurant so feel it was a waste of money, as I was out a lot of the time on excursions. There are heaps of places around to eat at your own leisure and a lot cheaper. Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful.

From the moment we arrived all the staff made us feel so welcome. This continued throughout the whole stay. The hotel is immaculately maintained and the staff polite, friendly and always on hand to help. The pool is a great temperature and the feature of booking sun beds means there’s always a lounger available.
The place is quiet and relaxing with food to suit everyone. There’s a great art gallery and small market stalls with local sellers with handmade or quality items.

Great place to spend a few days. Fantastic staff and well thought out privilege class of hospitality. Great breakfasts and a fun pool with free ice creams handed out if you’re lucky. Costa Adeje doesn’t have a lot to recommend it but this hotel is a standout

Lovely hotel just a couple of minutes from the beach. The sea and sunset views by the outside bar are lovely.
The staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you. Rooms are big and really comfy and clean.
Breakfast was fab, with different options each day too.
It’s a shame that there are so many areas of sunbathing / pool that you can’t access unless you have priority / premium access. But that’s a minor thing really.
Would happily stay again.

Fabulous hotel with great air-con and pool temp

We had a wonderful 2nd visit here.

Pros-

* Andrew and Aimara in the animations team are fantastic! We loved their daytime activities, especially the aquacise, glass jewellery making and sangria workshop.

*The weather in Tenerife is lovely. As someone who has pale, freckly skin I appreciated the reliable air-conditioning in our bedroom, and all the parasols at the pool. It was also a delight that the pool was nicely heated every day.

*Vero in the omelette station works so hard and greets very customer with a good morning, then a delicious omelette.

*Almost all the hotel staff are very friendly and professional. The folk in reception, the cleaners, the pool attendants are all brilliant!

*At the pool, staff occasionally bring round free icecream or drinks. This was much appreciated!

Cons-

*At times staff take away glasses which are not completely empty from the poolside or bedroom, when the guest is not there. Many customers are all-inclusive, but we are not, so didn't appreciate coming back from a swim to find our half finished drink had gone.

*The price is off-putting. It cost us almost 3000 euro for 11 days. We will return, but not for another couple of years as it is very expensive.

*The Gourmet Market set-up is still a bit confused. We had to speak to 4 or 5 servers on both occasions when we were there, to get what we had ordered.

All in all though, we absolutely loved our holiday at the Sabila, and throughly recommend it!

A nice hotel i would say and not a resort. The all inclusive for the food didn't have a lot of options, they serve the same thing almost everyday, so i wouldn't recommend doing the all inclusive but overall it was a nice place. They gave me a tablet to give them a review about my stay while i was there, which i did include some things i wished they could've done better, and to my surprise they reached out to me when i went for dinner. This really showed thdey cared about there customers and that's why they are getting my 5 stars.

The Iberostar Sabila was a fantastic hotel. We (a couple, mid30’s) stayed for a week and it was well worth it.

We got the all inclusive package, and also a sea view.

The sea view room was amazing. Beautiful, light room with amazing views out to sea and also overlooking the pool area.

All-inclusive felt worth it. This allowed unlimited food from the main restaurant and drinks from the various bars.

All meals had great variety. One of us is vegetarian and always had plenty of options which was appreciated. Breakfast options varied from cereals, pastries, freshly cooked omelettes, and various other cooked options.

Lunch and dinner had plenty of variety too, and the options changed up most days. There was always a fresh pasta and pizza station, always some sort of grilled meat and fish cooked fresh on demand too, alongside a huge variety of other options (including tons of desserts).

In hindsight, I may have gone for half board and we often found ourselves away from the resort at lunchtimes, but we made use of the lunch when we were around.

Worth noting we did not upgrade to star prestige. No regrets. The main benefit that we could see was other people knowing you were ‘star prestige’ but didn’t really see anything tangible.

Other points …

Super clean throughout. All staff were so helpful, everyone spoke great English and also were encouraging with our pretty terrible attempts at Spanish!

Running out of charactersnow so will finish by saying- highly reccomended

Drinks (except cocktails), service and rooms all great but the food. It’s a major let down and frankly, I have no idea how it can get an awarded 5 star status.
Bougaville, which is 4 star had much better food and selection.

Everything is of course subjective but this is, imo opinion, should be 4* and lower cost.

We eat out 3 nights out of 4, and when you’re paying as much as this place costs, it was more than a little disappointing…

My wife and I had a brilliant holiday until the last few days. Then ruined by food poisoning!!
Several other people had the same problem. We stayed half board . The problem possibly caused by evening meal being available between 6.30 and 9. Buffet style with food semi hot being left out for several hours. The journey home a complete nightmare.The catering needs a complete overhaul.

The property was very clean and very easy to navigate to. The buffett for breakfast and dinner had a lot of options. The negative to the property was that upon check-in, aside from not receiving our welcome drink, there was no explanation or overview of the property given. The restaurants and their offerings and location were not given. I am a platinum member with discount benefits and various amenities that were not given or received. After inquiring three times, upon checkout a member of the staff finally tried to assist us. Dave, the valet was the kindest staff member.

We loved our third stay at the Iberostar Selection Sábila. The resort is excellent, breakfast is unbelievabley amazing with a wide variety of fresh options. The pool is great and we especially enjoyed the animation team, Maggie & Sara, who led us every day in a fun water zumba activity. They were a lot of fun and made our stay even more enjoyable. We also did a great workshop with them and learned how to make our own Canarian mojo sauce. We are already planning our next trip back!

Iberostar Sabilla - Birthdaycation

Stayed at this hotel 4 nights.
From arrival check-in was seamless.Welcome drinks,the hotel was absolutely spotless. Loved the interior decor and layout,lots of chill out areas all round the hotel.
The room was very clean, comfy bed and modern bathroom. Mini bar. The option to clean room every day by leaving card on bed.
Lifts very efficient never waited more than a minute.
Breakfast get ready to be spoilt with a variety of choices a tip handed to me by another guest, walkaround the foodstation before making your selection. I tried something new each day.

Poolside enough beach chairs to go round bar by pool.
There is a beach less than 3 mins with access from the hotel and Mc Donald's just on beach front. (We found out on the last day)

Check the board to see Entertainment and activities.
Spa Treatments I took advantage of this which gave me full exclusive access to a pool side and jacuzzi as well as Steam and Sunar room. The full body massage was worth every penny.

I had Partial Sea View with additional perks from my silver membership, I had 30 Euros food voucher and bottle of wine. To top it up as Birthday Trip the hotel gave me a bottle of Cava.

For content creator lots of inspiration and space to create amazing shots and reel.

The website photos does not do it justice it is a much better Wow factor in person.
The staff were very polite and always willing to help. Reception staff attention to detail on point.
Overall experience good definitely will be returning.

This is not a 5* hotel. More like 3* at best. Food at the buffet was consistently good, however, I would have preferred alternative options, so I didn't have to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner there every single day. Food at the pool bar was not included in all-inclusive rate, and there was no poolside drink service. This is quite a sleepy resort, so we ended up going off-site every night for entertainment, which was an unexpected expense. Rooms are very small, and housekeeping did not replenish bathroom or mini bar items. At check in, the room I had booked was unavailable, and I was told I would have to pay extra for the upgraded room that was available. Neighboring hotels have loud, late-night music blasting making it hard to sleep.

The hotel is amazing, I can’t fault it at all. My sister and I booked breakfast only and star prestige which was perfect. The breakfast options were vast and varied and we had and dinner outside. Star prestige is great if you can afford it, self service open bar at the rooftop pool area and the downstairs pool, snacks, sandwiches and pastries, allocated sunbed areas by the pool, and some cocktails at the pool bar. The pool area was lovely and relaxing. The staff were friendly also.
I would definitely stay again.

Maybe I should have asked them to keep the noise down but they're all hardorkers and I didn't want to upset anyone. Apart from that, I will be going back to the same hotel. Very beautiful.

Griselda was on point at the pool and the Animation team made the stay even more memorable with daily water dance parties and evening events. Most of the staff was friendly. There were several individual staff members that were rude and not accommodating. The door handle on my room was broken and it took 4 times to “somewhat” fix. The shower door would not fully close and after every shower, the floor was soaking wet. I brought to their attention on multiple occasions and it was not fixed. Also, my room was across from the ice maker, it was absolutely irritating to be woken up all night by the sounds of this. Average at best overall experience for the money.

The room was VERY basic and VERY small. The view was the balconies of the hotel opposite, illuminated until the early hours (funny when you seem to be so concerned about sustainability!) No privacy. The decor is budget plastic. Overall we found it extremely overpriced.

Swimming pool mostly shallow and unsuitable for swimming. Food and drink grossly overpriced. A bit of a scrummage for breakfast buffet. Communal areas like an airport lounge. Very disappointing.

What a nice stay. Fantastic hotel will definitely come back.

Worth paying a bit more for Star Prestige option. Hotel staff friendly everywhere and full of activities, options and services in the hotel during our stay.

The Xmas dinner was just amazing, even the gourmet market offers better food than restaurant outside near the beaches.

We had towel change and room clean twice per day, very comfortable and gives you the freshness when back from dinner...

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights found it was extremely noisy staff were friendly but did not tell us that we need to book the workshops

I have waited to submit this review, hoping that I could come to a resolution with this hotel. My husband and I had good experiences with Iberostar before (but never had an issue we needed customer service for). However, this trip he got food poisoning from the resort. We ate only their food there for the 48 hours before. I am a physician and understand that this happens. However, when I went to talk to the manager about a refund for my husband's breakfast they refused and stated there was no way to get food poisoning from their hotel. They stated it was a virus and I would get it too. I found this insulting as a physician. My husband had profuse nausea and vomiting that lasted from 2 PM to 10 PM and ruined our last day in Tenerife. I never did get sick. Very classic food poisoning. I was simply asking for about 15 euro refunded back. Since then I have spent the past month trying to resolve this issue. I have spoke to several managers and now they have sent me to their lawyer. Apparently my breakfast reimbursement for a whole day ruined is too much to ask for. How pathetic.

In summary, Iberostar hotels have good resources. HOWEVER, absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. We will not be going to an Iberostar again and I wouldn't recommend one to anyone.

Excellent stay . Had a superior sea view and very noisy on a night but usually stopped by 11:30pm
Also would have like a long mirror in the bedroom , other then this a beautiful hotel with beach access. Ideal for couples.

Only slightly negative comment is that there should be more waiting staff in the pool area

Firstly, this is a wonderful hotel, which is why we will return again. However, a couple of incidents prevented it from being a perfect trip. (1) We paid for the Prestige upgrade, to add the comfort of the Prestige area to our holiday. However, they have changed the rules to not allow access until 9am now. This causes the situation where everyone has to queue to join the mad rush for the sunbeds. The crazier people were queing

Amazing hotel

Amazing what a fabulous hotel. The staff all friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, choice and plentiful with show cooking and many items cooked to order. Rooms were very comfortable with tea/ coffee tray complementary which is unusual here in Tenerife. Pool lovely heated too and plenty of sunbeds. Would I go again, you bet can't wait. Definitely lives up to its 5 star.

this is a well located (beach side) hotel with excellent facilities (pool, breakfast, rooms etc). the staff are super friendly / helpful and cannot do enough for you. the surrounding area gives access to excellent walks along a flat promenade which will suit all. there were some problems (no hairdryer in room) but these were quickly resolved. cannot speak highly enough of the staff - great breakfast

An amazing hotel, nothing was ever too much to ask for always plenty of towels, pool towels, very clean. Food very good and excellent selection of drinks. We upgraded to star prestige and was definitely worth it. We will definitely be back again.

The friendliness, willingness and helpfulness of the staff, the layout of the building and the quality, availability and variety of food and drinks on offer, the ample supply of sun loungers and sunshades. The attendants at the pool side. The enthusiasm of the Zumba/aquatics coach was infectious. Yes everything about it, the creations made from the towels left on our bed as the room was serviced several times daily when the room was vacant. Yes total satisfaction (expected that as this was our second visit) will definitely be back, there were subtle changes from the first visit probably due to COVID which only served to give a further feeling of well being. I went star prestige & all inclusive (March 7-14th 2022) which gave access to the open help yourself bar and buffet and roof top pool throughout the day.
