The hotel was very clean, the rooms were spacious and modern. Bed could have been more comfortable and not split into singles

Food was average, often cold and bland. Always found something but wasn’t great.

Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, the rooftop yoga was a lovely experience.

The rooftop bar served amazing cocktails, some of the best I’ve had.

I stayed in this hotel about 10 years ago. It's been done up really welll. We were in the adults only section which was great with lots of areas with relaxing sunbeds. Food was fine, we did eat out on most evenings.
Only downsides were you had to book in the night before to use the gym and the daytime music at the rooftop bar was extreme loud. Despite that we would stay again.

The only thing as a negitive for us was a slight lack of atmosphere. I’m guessing just due to what people want from a holiday. But most places were very quiet, a bit of music wouldn’t have gone a miss

Nice, but the hotel could make some improvements

Nice hotel, but there definitely could be some improvements.
Positives:
* Great location.
* Nice big room.
* Water in the room refreshed daily.
* Great snack bar for 10 euros (you should tell guests about this on check in)

Negatives:
* Food in the restaurant is not labeled correctly, therefore making it difficult for vegetarians (especially when theres hardly ang veggie options).
* The chefs or restaurant staff did not know what was in dishes and therfore couldn't confirm if they were vegetarian.
* My partner was served raw pork in the restaurant, which the staff agreed it was raw.
* There was a language barrier with many of the staff at reception, as they didnt understand English.
* Many people reserving sunbeds.
* Kids entertainment started at 8.30pm, which was quite late for young children.
* Check in took a long time and they didn't explain everything that we needed to know, for example no information on the towels.
* Resception didn't know anything about the entertainment.

Amazing 5 day break

All staff were extremely helpful, professional and friendly. They couldn't do enough for you, which makes your stay much more relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel was spotless you cannot fault it. The rooms were spacious and bright. Cleaned daily with changed towels. All the Pools were amazing. The restaurant had a large choice of lovely food, it was also spacious and clean. The walk down to the beach, bars, restaurants, and shops was less a than 10 minute walk. We had a late flight home and check out is 12pm, we managed to keep our room until later on in the day which was at a reasonable cost of 35 euros. Public transport great the bus stop was right outside the hotel. Taxi to the hotel from the airport when we arrived was around 30 euros. Same amount going back on day of departure. We loved every minute of our stay there and we will definitely be back.

I liked the quietness and cleanliness of the hotel. Really enjoyed Animation team especially Joyni who was so enthusiastic and full of fun, he gets everyone involved. Staff in the restaurant were friendly and very helpful nothing was a bother.

Check in very easy and friendly. Room clean and spacious.
Weren't expecting free breakfast. Noise from champagne bar a definite issue. Reception staff very helpful. Pool area very busy and loads of chairs reserved by about 7.30. Too many chairs too close together so we stayed away.

Nice hotel but very poor service. We were initially placed in a room with broken flooring and air-con. The hotel admitted they were aware of the issues but said the hotel was full and shrugged their shoulders. They couldn't even offer a fan, said the hotel didnt have them despite staff having them on their desks behind reception. No still water on most days during breakfast or dinner. Emailed reception several times but just ignored. Many other guests said the same thing and online reviews suggest reception dont answer phone or emails. Nice hotel let down by poor management.

Great weekend stay!

My sister and I enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The hotel staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel was always very clean and felt very safe.
The food was better than we expected having read other reviews. Lots of different food to choose from with options for people who suffer from different allergies. The food we had was always fresh and hot (at some stations you could see chefs preparing and then making the food right in front of you).
The one thing we would say is that as someone who suffers from a severe nut allergy, there were not signs at every dish telling you what it was and what allergens it contains. They did have signs at some dishes with allergen information so it would have been helpful to have that at all dishes. The lack of signage meant that my sister was unable to try a number of foods in fear she might have an allergic reaction. This did not spoil our holiday though, as there was still plenty of options that were safe for her!
We stayed in the adult only section where there were lots of sun beds and seating areas around the pool. Many sunbeds were reserved very early in the morning meaning it was sometimes quite difficult to get a sunbed that was in the sun (because of the position of the pool, there were many beds in the shade during our January stay) despite signs asking people not to reserve the beds.
Overall we had a great stay and will definitely return if we are ever in Tenerife again!

Great all inclusive hotel

Really good choice of food in the buffet restaurant. Very helpful staff on reception. Great hotel for families with young children. Also great for couples in the adult only part of the hotel. Champagne Bar the perfect spot for watching the sunset.

This really needs to be addressed, we paid for all inclusive but ending up eating out which adds to the cost of the holiday!! Rooms are nice, hotel is situated in an ideal place, convenient to everything. Plenty of sun beds around, maids work extremely hard. I would visit again but would do room only

Clean And Modern Hotel Shame about the restaurant

Hotel was modern and clean enough. No problem getting a lounger beside the pool. The main problem was with the restaurant. The food was repetitive (breakfast and Dinner) with pizza pasta on every night. We were half board and no one welcomed us as we arrived to confirm our board status so that we could order a drink as we could not use the all inclusive. I ended up chasing waiters about the place trying to get a drink. They weren't very friendly or helpful. We ended up not using the restaurant at all the last few days even though we had paid half board. We reported our issues to reception, but it was obvious they didnt care. Pool bar drinks ridiculously expensive €8 for two small paper cups one of which contained foam, no beer..again went to complain only to be met with rolling eyes from bar staff

My stay at the hotel was absolutely amazing and i will most definitely be back. Great customer service from the second we walked through the door to check-in. Breakfast and Dinner were both great providing us with many different options. I have not a bad thing to say about my the hotel or staff. The one and only thing i will like to comment on was the beds, i think we should be able to choose either 2 singles or a king sizes bed because as a couple it was quite difficult to sleep close to each othwr because the beds kept rolling apart and we couldnt find a solution for it. Apart from that it was spectacular. Lets not forget the view, it was mesmerising and unbelievably beautiful. I have already started to plan my next stay and i will definitely be mentioning this hotel on my travel blog i am currently in the process starting up. I will 100% be back in a few months.

My only problem was that the sun didn’t get round the pool till around 11.30 and disappeared at 4.30pm.

This was because of the tall buildings.

Other than that it was a great place to stay.

All-inclusive a rip off - not 4-star service

The all-inclusive options were very limited with poor quality drinks (the wine gave me heartburn), cocktails were served from a push-button machine, the beer tap at the buffet created too much head (but not repaired), charges for using the room safe, many areas not opened during the whole week, no AI options at the Sunset Bar.

The welcome drink when you check-in is fruit water – most 4-star hotels offer cava or a cocktail, especially during the festive period.

The music that was played everywhere was a very short loop of Christmas songs that is difficult to tune out even with headphones. This was still going around in our heads several days after we left.

I also had concerns about Covid measures – not all cleaners were wearing a mask when cleaning the rooms, and sunbeds/Bali beds/bar seats were not cleaned between customers (we only saw one female lifeguard cleaning sunbeds one day during the week we stayed).
This was very different to the hotel we stayed at the previous week in Tenerife.

It is good that there is a separate adult only area however entertainment was limited in that area. The best part was that the newly decorated room was clean and well finished although had some snagging issues. Some other guests were experiencing problems with doors and fittings needing attention...also a nasty drain smell coming from the wine tap at the buffet.

Felt really upset with how I was treated as though I expected things for 'free' when I had paid all-inclusive on arrival.

To be honest we have stayed here on 3 occasions but the standard has dropped considerably. The food is absolutely terrible and apart from the Reception staff all the rest were rude and couldn't give a damm. We booked an early breakfast as we were going to LÁ Gomera we arrived at 6.45am the doors were lost after continuous knocking which was ignored we were eventually let in after receiving a tirade of abuse from one of the waiters. The whole place could do with a face-lift as even the doors to the rooms are cracked and filthy.

This is not a 4 star hotel!! The food is disgusting and the restaurant furniture is old and dirty. The cooks in the restaurant are not friendly at all! Expedia should not sell this hotel as a 4star. The hotel receptionist & public relations lady even told us they are aware they are more a 2star hotel, they will close the hotel in April for full refurbishment. The superior room was damaged, old bathroom, water issues and very bad small. Worst hotel I ever staid, don’t book even if they offer good prices!

Some advertised facilities are either non existent or not open to visitors, e.g. no gym, no room to watch television, no indoor lounge to nave a drink in social atmosphere. Lot of missing tiles on dark stairwells.. One is forced to drink in room or leave hotel each evening or face the daunting onslaught of kids running wild everywhere. Evening entertainment really bad, not always as advertised usually comprised of getting 11 year old kids up on stage to sing karaoke badly right up to 23:00 Not a hotel for over 50's.

You never know what to expect with 'buffet' all-inclusive but we were pleasantly surprised. Shower would go hot and cold quicker the Katy Perry song which wasn't ideal when trying to get our small child in there.

It's the other Brits that ruin things, ha.

Great value for a long weekend. Definitely worth paying small supplement for superior room which was clean also had separate living room. There are 2 quiet sunbathing areas on the roof - no kids allowed. Great for peaceful sun worshipping. Food plentiful and varied with lots of beautiful fresh fish and salads, as well as the usual options for people who want to eat the food you have at home. Included wine palatable. Entertainment average for this type of hotel. All staff courteous and friendly. Late checkout until 6pm for €30.
Overall bargain holiday for 4 long days.

Hotel needs updating with currant furniture tatty.
Having been in 2018 we were only too pleased to revisit but dont know now if we will as evening entertainment is being held outside and it is extremely cold nightime so it spoils it .The downstairs area were they used before is now a pay bar and no one there so its wasted .They need to rethink that in order to get people to return .

Ideal for families Very impressed with the hotel!

You are never 100% confident when you book on line, or that is how I feel. La isla bonita has a great location, with all amenities and beach within 5 minutes walk.

Great for families as they have beautiful entertainment team. I am a fussy eater but found I have always had plenty of different plates to choose from, the same as my children. Had lovely holidays, where staff were excellent, thoroughly enjoyed the food, people are so happy and chatty. Great internet, even in the room, clean sheets and towels every day, mattress very comfy.
If I really have to say something to improve, would be the gym as there is hardly any equipment left that works, but we still had an amazing time!

Arrived earlier than book in time but room was ready, even given a choice of sea view or pool view. Room was very basic and in need of TLC but clean. Staff were alway happy and friendly. Food was OK some hot food was not as hot as it should be but edible. Being a fussy eater there was always something there for my fancy. Main bar and area was spacious with some good entertainment. There was always some one from the animation team around and they always had time for the children. Location was great a few minutes walk and was at a shopping centre, there were quite a few of them in the area. Beach was probably a 5 minute walk. Was impressed of the cleanliness of the area.

Rooms very dated, even updated ones have broken tiles, smelly rooms, poor bathroom cleanliness, local area is good, food is cold every meal, 11pm stop off for all inclusive not even water available after that time, hot water provided by pool for hot drinks, no insulated cups resulting in my partner scalding hand with paper cup provided, nobody around to help with this problem.

The staff and entertainment staff were great, lots for everyone to do, especially those wanting to take part in fun pool activities, darts, pool, French bowls, etc. The hotel is in need of some TLC, and the food could do with being improved. This hotel is most certainly not a 4 star, I would not even rate it a 2 star. I don't think anything has been done to it since the 1960's. The bathroom was so old with stains on the bath, holes plastered over on the walls and the toilet constantly ran and leaked. The shower height or angle could not be adjusted in anyway.
We were offered a room change but the alternative was no different. we had a clean glass each in the bathroom on arrival but in the 5 nights we never had another clean glass supplied. Lamp shades in the room were all stained and the dirt above the air conditioning unit was disgusting. Curtains were orange and not properly attached to the rail.
apparently we had a room with a pool view but you had to look around the corner of the balcony to see it.
Food in the evening was passable but certainly not worth the money paying for an all inclusive, breakfasts were poor. I stuck to cereal and toast after suffering for 24 hours and taking Imodium after an omelette on the first morning. Most drinks you had to pay extra for and the wine was the cheapest they could provide. You had to pay after 11pm. No sunbeds available in the sun by the pool as people reserved with towels at 8am and you lost the sun by 4pm'ish.
Staff were polite but not interested in assisting unless we paid more money, I was not throwing good money after bad.
I would never ever recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

The hotel has two pools but only on last day did we find out that one was heated not advised by hotel staff. Wanted to purchase a sparkling wine (Cava) but wine list had four wines only one was available and it was a Champagne the dearest at over £55. Telephone in room did not work only found out on last day when a friend called and to come to room.

food good you could always find something to eat ,snack bar very poor never saw any snacks as such curled up cheese sandwich,did have experience with my phone had it on charge all night grandson plugged it out to use the charger I had never left room since night before, grandson put it on the bed I was in another room from cleaner,went to find cleaner who was just a few rooms away from mine went through soiled laundrey,also our rubbish ,I never reported phone missing because I thought it would turn up somewhere in the room.later on that same day the girl on reception ca i asked lled me over to say my phone was there.i then asked how it was on reception said it was found on the landing of my room,which I told her it was impossible as ihadnt had it out side the room

Food was okay, rooms were bit tired looking. No access to a fridge or kettle etc it was all locked behind a door. Pool didn’t open till 10 and felt sun didnt reach pool area till midday because its closed in.

Nice hotel

We have stayed for 7 nights all inclusive in Isla Bonita. Hotel is in good location related to the sea sides & markets. Easily to get to center of Adeje besides there is bus stop in front of hotel.
We do enjoyed food, there was vary options to choose from (buffet type). In our opinion was enough drink choices on the bar as well. Hotel content 2 pools with self service mini bars in front of biggest pool.
Might could be improved evening entertainment program as every day was the same young group with dancing shows. Also there is late check out option that is very helpful.
In general we have liked our stay in current hotel. Only for the young party seeking company might be is not the right place but for couples, families & older people it could be place for calm and nice enjoyment.

if we will travel to Adeje again we will choose Isla Bonita:)

AFTER LOOKING AT THE PHOTOS ON THE WEBSITE WE DECIDED TO BOOK THIS HOTEL AS IT WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION AND ADVERTISED AS A 4* . WE WERE DISAPPOINTED TO FIND THAT THE HOTEL WAS QUITE DATED. THE ROOM WE HAD IN A BLOCK WAS OF A VERY GOOD SIZE WITH TWO SEPARATE SLEEPING AREAS AND EVEN A KITCHENETTE! IT WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE MAIDS CAME EVERY DAY TO CHECK IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING. THE ROOM STILL HAD THE REMAINS OF AN OLD RADIO FROM THE TIME IT HAD BEEN BUILT, WHICH DID NOT WORK AND HAD BEEN PAINTED AROUND ON A NUMBER OF OCCASIONS. DIFFERENT ROOMS SEEMED TO HAVE DIFF. DOOR LOCKS SOME KEY OPERATED WHILST OTHER MORE MODERN CARD SYSTEMS AGAIN SHOWING THE AGE OF THE HOTEL. POOL AREA WAS CLEAN ALTHOUGH AFTER A FEW DAYS IN THE WATER WAS STARTING TO GET MURKY BUT WAS THEN CLEANED AND LOOKED GREAT AGAIN.BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT WAS THAT THE PHOTOS SHOWED LOTS OF FACILITIES, IE BAR AREAS AND RESTAURANTS, WHICH WERE NOT OPENED UP EVEN THOUGH THE HOTEL WAS FULLY BOOKED.MEAL TIMES WERE HAPHAZARD WITH LONG QUEUES AT THE BUFFETS WITH PEOPLE WAITING FOR ITEMS THEY DID NOT WANT BUT HAD TO STAY THERE TO BE ABLE TO GET TO THE ONES THEY DID. FOOD WAS PLENTIFUL AND ALWAYS SOMETHING TO CHOOSE FROM EVEN THOUGH THE CHEF LIKED DESSERTS WITH CREAM.A CAKE WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE. OVERALL ENJOYABLE STAY FOR THE PRICE BUT NOT REALLY A 4* BUT AGOOD 3* DUE TO AGE OF HOTEL AND LONG WAITING TIMES AT THE RESTAURANT. EVENING ENTERTAINMENT FINE BUT A BAR AWAY FROM THE NOISE WOULD HAVE BEEN APPRECIATED.

Issue with check in, we had booked superior rooms but hotel had us down for standard rooms. After 15minutes of checking my paperwork and arguing that we had reserved standard rooms even though all my paperwork stated superior we eventually got superior rooms allocated. A large queue had built up at reception by this time and it was highly embarrassing. Rooms were clean and very basic, cracked tiles and dated bathrooms really pull this hotel down, it's a real shame as it has the potential to be a fabulous holiday base. Food was good, selection for all, bar service was excellent, entertainment was 100% effort however content still has a bit of work to do yet for the live shows. Get someone in the dj box who knows how to make the most of the great sound, lights and stage area, this would really help put the shows together. Pool snacks excellent and good to see life guards patrolling pool keeping an eye on what's going on. My biggest issue with this hotel was some of the other guests who didn't treat the hotel or its amenities with any respect. The hotel need to police some of these individuals to keep what they have as good as possible. Good value for money, please invest in this hotel before it's too late.

Good Location

Booked last minute and as we knew the area thought price quoted was good value. This hotel has been around the block. Rooms are very tired, ours had a separate sitting area bedroom and bathroom. Good size for two people. Beds comfy good size wardrobe good size room. Bathroom clean and facilities provided good quality. Sitting area. Sofa seen better tv small but has uk channels. Unfortunately there was a sewer smell early mornings. Rest of hotel pool areas crowded but staff brilliant at serving quickly at the pool bar for snacks and drinks. Main restaurant was excellent. Good choice of food at all occasions need to sort out a better serving area for hot food though to save queues and more importantly queue jumpers. Handbags at dawn one night for the lamb chops. Plenty choice of house drinks and self serve for soft drinks at main bar. Home grown entertainment more suited for children not adults. All in all if the price is right it's worth a visit and we will not rule out a return visit as the location is excellent for getting out and about.

Like a concrete jungle. A prison comes to mind.

The pool bars were constantly out of coffee juices. No snacks available in the daytime. Couldn't find a table in dining area had to constantly walk around until 1 became available. Rooms dated uncomfortable beds, patio doors to balcony didn't lock and as on ground floor anyone could enter room. Staff not helpful. Same food on offer everyday. No kettle in room. Couldn't have a cup of tea until 8/9 am. All coffee and hot water machines turned off until 9 am. By the pool they turned them off at 5.30pm. Because I don't drink alcohol and wanted lemon and lime bar staff expected me to have a disposable cup, not a glass with ice etc. All in all this hotel is no way a 4 star more 2 or 3 at the most. I feel robbed of my money and on arrival charged approx £200 more than the original price on reservation supposingly because of exchange rate.

Staff was very lovely, rooms in need of updating.

We loved food and times for it- there was something for everyone and good quality too. 2 adult pools and to our positive surprise one of them was lovely heated. The only thing is that hotel and rooms are in need of updating, clean enough tough. So overall you get what you paid for, and really cheap.

Good priced all inclusive hotel

English speaking staff, reception staff helpful and very friendly, food is pretty good, get more of a vvariety then other hotels I have stayed at. Pool area decent though the snacks are not really appealing. Decent entertainment day and night, nice outside area.

Thought 10 Euros per night to park car is a bit expensive, though didn't have too much trouble finding parking outside on street (I went in November).
The hotel BBQ is a massive no no, its not a social thing, it's a sit down dinner and everyone gets the same, the food at BBQ is not nice at all.

Room cleaned daily and very well.

Food not as good compared to similar priced hotels

Nothing exciting, just a basic no frills hotel. Stayed at a lot better hotels for less in the south of Tenerife. Visit 3 times a year. But Wouldn't stay there again, nothing really bad about it other than they must spend a very low budget on food & entertainment. Should be 2 star.

Worst hotel in Tenerife

The hotel was the worst we have stayed in in Tenerife. The beds were lumpy, the sofa bed collapsed when we sat on it. The tiles on the floor were cracked. The curtains didn't meet. The room wasn't cleaned in a whole week. The towels had holes in them.

Booking nightmare !

Check in nightmare, hotel had not received payment from Hotel.com, then spent an hour on my mobile to hotels.com and subsequently with Expedia in the USA trying to resolve problem. This was fruitless and to secure the accommodation had to make a payment to cover the 1st Nov on my Credit Card with the promise of a refund the following day once payment issue was resolved. Facebook messaged hotels.com to complain and this seemed to be ignored until I threatened going public on social media. The actions however were very questionable and eventually received a credit back 6 days later despite daily visits to the hotel reception and being told payments were not yet secured. All in all a very stressful start to our holiday.
Your earliest feedback to this fiasco would be appreciated.

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Not even 3. We always book only 4 star hotels and we stayed a lot in Canaries, but this hotel was the worst. It needs to be completely refurbished. Not sure how they got 4 starts, but it is not 4 stars. Max I would give this hotel 2 stars. Would never stay in this hotel and would never recommend it to anyone. I booked 4 stars hotel and wanted to stay in 4 stars hotel and get 4 stars servise. Unfortunately I didn't get anything worth 4 stars. However, area (Cost Adeje) was just amazing.

long boozy weekend

Good value as 3* hotel

main buildings are very servere looking and in need of make over. All inclusive basis is great if you want cheap booze and basic food. However it is clean, staff pleasant and the hotel is in a good area.
