Despite arriving quite late due to airport delays, the team were incredibly accommodating and welcoming, which was such a relief after a long day of travel. They had thoughtfully set up a travel cot in our room for our little one before we arrived, which we really appreciated and made settling in so much easier after the journey.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with a very relaxed and stylish feel throughout. Our room was lovely—spacious, very comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options, with plenty to choose from and everything we tried being really fresh and enjoyable.
Overall, the warm hospitality, great surroundings, and thoughtful touches made for a really enjoyable stay. We’d highly recommend Baobab Suites.

The staff really make this property great ! From the concierge and front office staff to the amazing breakfast staff and room maids !

It is a little bit of a walk from any shops for snacks and a bit of a walk to the Adeje promenade for dinners.
On the flip side it is a really nice area to stay in just be mindful to plan budget for rental cars or taxis

Lovely Suite Hotel, everything a hotel would provide, slippers, robes and plenty of bathroom products to use, spacious and well kitted out for self catering but so many options for great food/restaurants. We loved Kar Bon, such super staff, BBs was good for snacks/casual lunch/dinner. 3 breakfast options, the Buffett had everything you needed and more, super fruit and hot items always being refreshed. We also did the breakfast box option a few days which was well stocked and enough for lunch in your room too. Always plenty of sunbeds and places to sit. Views great over the bay and town. Char was super too. Helpful staff all over hotel and cleaning of room was very good. We will return, Thank you

A disappointing stay from start to finish. Really rude staff (excluding the reception staff and Camilla) poor quality food, bad access points to rooms, basic furnishings, the breakfast buffet was honestly no better than a 3 star hotel. If you’re looking for something luxury and 5star, you will not get it here.

We stayed as a group of friends and experienced the worst service I think I’ve ever come across in any hotel. The restaurant staff were incredibly rude throughout, the food was very basic and sometimes quite shocking considering it’s a 5 star hotel. On multiple occasions, they got our food order wrong and visibly huffed when we asked them to correct it. The rooms were basic, very hard to get to due to the limited access points, so we regularly got lost. The grounds of the hotel were also quite dirty, especially the lifts and strong smell of bins. Quite a shocking stat to be honest.

A really poor stay at Baobab! Not a 5 star hotel at all. All restaurant staff were extremely rude and not welcoming at all. Often stood for 15minutes at an empty bar waiting to order food. Staff would see you waiting and then continue to ignore you. The food was very basic and often poor quality. Not what you’d expect for a 5 star hotel. I wish we’d stayed in the Hard Rock instead.

Just got back from an amazing seven days at Baobab and was so sad to leave ! We stayed in a 2 x bedroom suite with pool and was perfect ! My brother was recovering from a major operation so we hardly left our suite and didn’t need to as got food delivered from room service which was really good and not far away was a mini market to get drinks etc the spa was brilliant too as my brother had a couple of massages , the staff are all so lovely and go above and beyond to help with anything you need and a huge thank you to Camilla ! We will definitely be booking again !

Everything about our stay was amazing and super relaxing. We had a 2 bedroom suite with hot tub and \"beach\" area overlooking the sea. Breakfasts were brilliant, particularly in the BB lounge. The staff could not do enough for us. We used the gym and padel courts as well as the kids club. Everything was marvellous, would highly recommend as a place to stay.

We stayed in a one bed apartment with jacuzzi on the balcony. It had all the kitchen appliances you need. The bedroom at the back was comfortable and quiet. The views were excellent. The balcony was large and the automatic sunshades were very good allowing you to choose from full sun or shade. There were 3 options for breakfast, buffet, lounge or in apartment and all were very good in their own way. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

They didn't recognise my Gold status. The hotel was quite empty during our stay. I had to fight to get an upgrade, in the end I had to pay to get the upgrade (a reduced rate). The staff are great, and the food brilliant. I just shouldn't be made to feel grateful for something im entitled too...

Definitely recommended. Quite a hilly area though so you need to be fit to walk, have a car or use a taxi. Taxi rates were very reasonable.

Nice high end hotel that feels premium throughout. Suites are modern and well equipped. We had the Infinity Mar suite with a pool and a jacuzzi, both were heated so great for February evenings. Kids club was highly recommended by our 4 children (4,7,7 and 10yrs). The whales and dolphins trip they recommend at check-in is well worth a trip too.

Suites that are more like small apartments with a hotel wrapper. So you get all the benefits of a hotel but your own space too. The staff were very friendly and service was really quick should you need anything. Gorgeous balcony and sea views, comfy bed, huge bathroom and we had breakfast brought to us every morning - private breakfast on our own balcony. Brilliant health club and restaurant. Loved it!

Clean modern apartment with plenty of space

This is a very modern building which is more apartment suites than hotel. We had a two bed apartment with a Jacuzzi which was a very good size for the three of us. The staff were great and the property very clean and well looked after. Breakfast really was very good with great variety of choice including Cava and caviar which is always a good start. It was let down by the location of breakfast which is in a large noisy windowless room at a lower level. This apartments work well for families with children so expect a lot of them. There were a few other design features which do not work particularly well including lack of seating area around the pools where large areas are given over to volcanic rock features rather than somewhere to sit. Behind one of the pool areas are a number of suites all with a private swimming pool which sounds great but theses are all in a line akin to a line of baths. There are a number of nice restaurants next to the big hotels a 10 min (not very direct walk) down the hill. Further afield to the West, La Caleta is a 30 min walk with a lot more local type restaurants, some of which are very good. To the east about a 20 min walk is Fanabe Bay with a quite staggering stitch of restaurants. Taxi back to the apartment from all locations is about €4-€8.

When we asked for a late checkout due to a later flight, even though the room was free, they wished to charge €30 up until 3pm and €60 until 7pm. Curtesy \"room\" was a basic shower facility.

Can’t recommend Baobab suites enough. When we initially looked at the hotel online, we thought it looked too pristine to be child friendly, but after a friend advised us otherwise, we took a chance and booked it for a week. Now I just wish we could’ve stayed longer.
We were in the serenity suite with it’s own beach on the balcony. Walk through a gate and you’re at one of the main pools and because some of the suites have their own pools, the main pool felt like our own.
We went B&B so that we could go out in the evening. The breakfast buffet was just perfect, different stations serving all kinds of foods from freshly made omelettes to cereals and fresh bread.
The staff,from reception to waiters were all amazing. My 2 yr took a particular shine to Julio, who was the most attentive, friendly and polite man and entertained my little girl every time he saw her.
The sports centre across the road is great for children to run about, play games/sports while the adults relax over a cheeky vino.
Nothing was too much for anyone and we can’t wait to return(perhaps without the kids next time)

The property is beautiful and the staff are great, they couldn't do enough for you. My only suggestion would be that the property could do with a bar area that doesn't feel quiet so formal, an area that you could go on an evening and relax, perhaps show some sport.

I have stayed in various places across the island and will state that this is by far the best hotel on the island (in my opinion).

You can even order a breakfast basket to the room if you don't want to go downstairs to the buffet. We had a room with a hot tub on the terrace, great views at night if your room faces the city! The beach was amazing! A little far from the hotel, but they offer you taxi vouchers. Lots of restaurants. Fell in love with Costa Adeje! Will definitely go back.

Such a beautiful property but our particular suite had a brown sofa and a red cabinet, no pretty cusions or effort made, as pictured prior to booking. However the bed was really comfortable and I felt safe and relaxed at night. The breakfast delivered to the room was the best I've ever had. Some staff were lovely, others however just ignored me when trying to order food, which is annoying with a little one who's hungry and tired. The kids club staff were so great, very kind genuine people. Thankyou

This is one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed in. I have been lucky enough to travel around the world but this was definitely up there with the best. We had a suite with a private pool and it was out of this world. Only downside is there isn't amenities very close everything is a good walk away. I would definitely recommend hiring a car when you stay here even just makes everything easier. Will 1000000% be back for another stay next year.

Worth the walk!

We enjoyed a fantastic week at Baobab suites. To address some of the main concerns that are often raised, it's true that the hotel is situated at the top of a quite steep hill, but the walk to the main resort is pleasant and not too far. It's definitely worth the walk, which after an indulgent meal is actually quite refreshing! The rooms and hotel facilities are wonderful and the breakfast delivery service is a nice touch that should definitely be taken advantage of! We only had use of the communal pool, and would definitely opt for a private pool on our next visit, but that's not to say the communal pools are not excellent. Not overcrowded, comfortably appointed and superb sun traps to while away the hours! All in all, highly recommended!

2nd visit, again over our wedding anniversary. Loved it as usual although a bit disappointed that couldnt use chromecast on the tv as had managed to do this last year, not that we watch a lot of tv but handy to increase availability of local home channels rather than only london based English speaking channels (BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Ch4 and Ch5). Wasnt able to get late checkout but spent day by pool and then had use of a room downstairs to get showered and changed before heading to airport (would recommend air con in this room tho as can get a bit humid). Activate sports club small but very well equipped visited a few times during our stay. Def looking at a return visit next year but maybe upgrade to suite with a pool

I dont usually review hotels however my stay here was incredible. From the minute we arrived the staff were friendly and very helpful. The suites are incredible and its definitely well worth paying that bit extra for the jacuzzi. Rooms well equipped and the views were insane. Credits to all staff for making it an excellent experience. The breakfast variety is great and the amount of things to do in the hotel is even better. Lovely area with the beach in walking distance.

A birthday week

A week spent at the baobab suites for my daughter's 30th birthday and the staff pulled out all the stops to wish her a happy birthday, a bottle of cava and a generous slice of cheesecake were left with a very nice letter. That aside this was my 5th stay and like the other times it was faultless. The breakfast served to the room is always well presented and has a wide selection to choose from. The pool bar and sucas restaurant serve great food and the staff are always friendly. The facilities in the rooms are excellent, so if you like cooking, (although we had room service on the last night for convenience), going home with no laundry to do or just relaxing, (my daughter can recommend a massage treatment) this is the place to stay.

Overall we were very impressed with the room, very spacious, great balcony, clean and with what basically amounts to a full working kitchen at your disposal, the staff cleaned the room daily and we had no issues in that regard.

Facilities are good we used the gym a lot but frustratingly a lot of the better equipment is locked away e.g. Trap bar/Prowler sled and only available if you pay for personal training, ideally it would all be at your disposal rather than pay for what appeared to be entry level personal training. Staff in the gym were lovely though always helpful and polite.

Pools were good, great views, clean and plenty of seats, around dinner time the pools are virtually empty so if you're half-board it's like a private pool.Bar is great, the staff make really good cocktails and the food is good if maybe a little over priced compared to local restaurants. Lots of options for breakfast and the quality was great.

The hotel has a lot of activities on offer and we availed of the catamaran & the Teide by night experience, both were excellent. I would however state that the staff don't know enough about these activities they can't really give you details on exactly what's involved and there was mention of paying after for e.g. jet-ski or other activities, it should be clearly outlined or included in the price. That being said both experiences were great and would recommend both, for Teide by night dress warm even in summer.

Great stay in a Boutique Suite, the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful. sunloungers on a large terrace in the room allowed for a personalised experience at this hotel. Great touch to be able to order breakfast and have this delivered to your room everyday. Two pools which were both great to use and no problem getting sunloungers. Great area and lots to do, there is a local supermarket 5 minute walk away that is 24 hours. Great stay and will definitely be back!

Just a wonderful property really well managed beautifully equipped and extremely relaxing. Architecturally very cool. The kids were super happy and the Serenity Rio suite ticks all the box’s. It was truly spacious, very well equipped and so very clean. The pool in the suite was perfect for them and us. Baobab really doesn’t feel like a hotel at all. It is an apart hotel so don’t expect all the fuzz of a large hotel. For us it was nicer because of that. It’s calm quiet and relaxed. The reception staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. The housekeeping team never failed. The kids club team were wonderful and our two enjoyed their time there very much. Breakfast either buffet or in the room to your specific order was perfect. To make the most of the Baobab experience you should be prepared to eat out. There are many fabulous restaurants close by. We will return.

Perfect holiday

This was our 5th visit to the Baobab Suites & yet again we were not disappointed. This hotel offers everything that is required for a relaxing perfect holiday. The suites are exceptional, breakfast has such variety and staff are polite friendly yet professional at all times. We can not recommend this hotel enough & look forward to returning very soon.

Amazing place to stay

This was our second stay at the Baobab Suites in a pool suite. The rooms are spacious, pool is excellent all round it’s a high end hotel with nice restaurants in the complex. Will definately book again next year.
