We had a really nice stay at Sol Sun Beach. Nice hotel, great apartment, friendly staff and very good location. The breakfast buffet was good The only down sides were, the Wi-Fi was weak or non existent in most spots so make sure you have plenty data. The fridge was old and our wee cockroach friend made a dash under the pull-out sofa bed in the lounge - glad we werent using it. We paid for a pool view and it was lovely however no access to pool from room, we had to exit at back of room and walk round and through hotel to reach the pool (not a big deal I guess). Not the quietest location as noisy road outside and some music etc but it soon quietens down. All said I would recommend if you want a few days away from crappy UK winter weather.

Dont expect the moon on a stick

Stayed here as other hotel cancelled ,so glad they did . If your after five star its not. But what it is , is a good hotel in the best !ocation right in the heart of the action .Right on the best beaches ,some fab resturants at your door .Not five star but not a bad place to stay if your not a fussy family .Pools great for little ones as it has walk in areas rather than steep sides in the shallow areas .well worth a try if you dont need five star amenities .Supermarket two mins from the room for a cheeky bottle of vino or to feed the kids after a hard day playing on the beach /pool if they dont want to go back out on an evening .Pool bar cheap . No kids entertainment but we had a grate time there .Breakfast isnt the best but you wont go hungry ,you can get plenty of plates as we did minimum three courses unless your fussy .Its on our radar for next new year

It's OK, comfy but not good view and pretty old

It's an OK place, it's clean, every amenaties but check-in is the slowest I have experimented in my whole life.
I was alone it took 45 min to get my keys...
They do everything with paper, printing document one by one... 2021.. E signature, digital contact, computer exist.. Maybe time to throw away the typewriter.

Good location close to the beach. Nice pool area. Great balcony. But: the hotel is old - renovation needed. Reception is very slow. Breakfast is very basic with too many people and too few staff. But the biggest problem for me was the sound isolation - you can hear the neighbors very well. Was good for one night, but not for the proper vacation

The property was very clean and beds very comfy. The only down side was the noise some nights that went on until 2.30 am with people shouting and screaming. There didn’t seem to be any security to deal with it. No pool towels were provided. We would not return.

Had a problem at check in wanting to see the credit card I had booked with. I tried to explain that I had to cancel it as it had been a victim of fraud. I offered to show her my account proving that but she wasn’t having any of it and said I had to pay again. I said I will contact Expedia she then said oh if you booked through Expedia it’s ok. I had already handed her the Expedia booking number so was a frustrating experience

The hotel was great and the stuff was lovely and very friendly. I travelled with my husband to Tenerife for my 30th birthday and had a nice champagne compliments from the hotel.
The only thing what we didn't like was that the cleaning of the kitchen wasn't included in the service.
Everything else was amazing and would definitely recommend the hotel. Perfect for both young couples and family with kids. Location wise was brilliant - near the beach, supermarkets and bars.

Great location, near beach all bars and restaurants
And great bars for Kareoki if that’s what your into .
Pool area is brilliant really big loads of sun beds nice pool bar and a small kids play area , wasn’t much going on round pool kids games ect but I’m sure that’s because it’s out of season ,February I went temp was in the 70,s even in February .
Could be noisy I suppose if you get a room near road
But it’s only a side road to beach so not that busy .
Can’t comment on food as was room only .
But I would highly recommend this hotel to any age group old , young , family’s .very disabled freindly Ramps for weelchairs all over complex but it is on a steep hill so a bit of legwork involved me thinks .
I’m not disabled but just saying from what I actually noticed .

Room was spacious for a studio. Beds were very comfortable. Apt was clean. Towels were big and clean. Pool area was great with comfortable sun loungers and a lovely pool. Only thing was that the pool was very cold and it would have been better if it was heated. I would come back to the sol sunbeach.

Overall great. Nice spacious studio with everything we needed and with good view of sea. Everything nice and clean, bedding, towels etc. Staff friendly and helpful, maid every day. Not too busy and plenty of sun beds around lovely pool.
Only downside was hotel next door was being refurbished so some building noise but didn’t spoil our hol.
All positive for me

The hotel/apartment was ok. As it was advertised as a 4 star accomodation, I would obviously think that it had air conditioning in the apartment, NO, just two ceiling fans which did'nt cool anything, just moved hot air around. We were told by local residents not to leave patio doors open at night as there had been breakings in the area, so to have some sleep as it was so hot, we had to barracade the patio door with the furniture to have some air, but at the slightest sound we woke up.
The breakfast was a disgrace, the food was what you would expect from a works canteen, and the room was so bare, that the noise of people talking was ear splitting.
We had room C4-13, do'nt try to have a rest in the afternoon, the boules area was right above our room, so you had thud, thud, thud most of the afternoon.

A nicely appointed room. Overlooking the pool area. Close to all facilities, beach and restaurants. A bit noisy at night, but soon went off around midnight. Apart from the neighbours in the next room being very noisy in the early hours of Saturday, everything was just as we were hoping.

The rooms have new bathrooms and kitchen units, bit the furniture is still a bit dated.
Wasn't impressed with the room we were given as it was right door to the breakfast and dining room so it was quite noisy from 6am onwards with staff working.
However the hotel is in the perfect location.

Lovely hotel , 2 min walk to the beach

Lovely hotel. 2 minute walk to the beach. A large quantity of bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Large swimming pool with a stunning view out to sea. Plenty of loungers. Pool was very cold, so didn't venture into it other than to test the water! Snack bar was slightly expensive, but had good variety. The rooms were spacious, no air conditioning, however the ceiling fans were more than adequate in keeping you cool during the night. The only 'criticism ' is the bathroom. The shower curtain is about the size of a large bath towel ! Struggled to keep the water out when showering and not flood the bathroom floor. Also, the bath is very slippy when going into it to shower. Actually gave myself a groin strain by slipping! Should really have some sort of bath mat in place. There is a hand rail on the wall but still need something to prevent slipping/sliding. Overall this was a great stay. Definitely recommend it, and would return.

Great location, rooms very noisy

The hotel is in an excellent location, very buzzy area surrounded by restaurants, supermarkets, shops and the beach is only a few minutes away by foot.
Room condition is OK but no A/C, new bathroom and kitchen but some other elements need refurbishment.
We got a room next to the road and it was very noisy in the morning, you could hear delivery trucks parking and unloading goods... not very good if your plan is to rest.

Be careful with your stuff !

Overall a pleasant experience including both ups and downs

The Up's

Room:

Upon arrival we (my girlfriend and I)were greeted by hotel reception staff and checked in before being given our room key. Our room was located down a series of steps which made the location slightly awkward to get to with suitcases. We had a basic studio apartment which we had opted for. After inspection the room was pleasantly clean & the wifi was sufficient , however we didn't have a wardrobe and our room was adjacent to the street. Due to this, we decided to ask if we could change rooms to feel more comfortable. The reception staff kindly made this possible and we were in our new room over looking the garden area the next day by 12:00.

Our new room had a better view with the garden in between us and apartments opposite . Our bathroom was more modern and there was the much needed wardrobe space and a shoe rack, which came in very handy considering my girlfriends hand luggage was filled with shoes!! Also the walk to reception was much easier.

The Downs:

We felt pretty safe in this hotel until a group of young boys in their mid 20s had stolen my bag with my phone and sunglasses in. A gate leading from the street to the pool had been left open on numerous occasions meaning that people off the street could walk in and use the pool and slip off . We reported this to reception and there was luckily CCTV footage of this. The staff at reception were pretty helpful and they noted the incident.

Costa Adeje is a lovely area, however the apartments are very old, poorly decorated and the reception staff were very unfriendly. The location is good, close to beach and restaurants. Breakfast was good in the accommodation.

The infrastructure of the hotel was very bad. The photos do not represent real state of the rooms. We were also given a room in front of the service entrance of another hotel, so it made our stay unbearable because of the noise made by the hotel personnel and trucks. The swimming pool was freezing, but it was supposed to be heated, especially in January.

rabbit warren of dark corridors, very complicated to find rooms, staff unhelpful in showing you where to go, wanted a sea view and had asked for this got dungeon room with side view of street car park, balcony with no privicy as everone in the street had a look at you if you were spending time on the dingy balcony. Hot stuffy rooms with no air conditioning a noisy fan that looked as if it was about to come of the ceiling at any time, an cut you to bits as you lay trying to sleep, if heat and noise would let you. Shower broke but was fixed very quickly and the handy-man directed us back to the room as we had got lost in the maze of corridors weird layout. Room was clean enough and plenty of room for sun bathing, as long as you don't pick the boules area as we were there as subjected to bums in our faces as they lent over to play boules (not a pretty site).

Not be staying again..asked for pool view got ground floor onto Street. Got moved rooms back to ground floor again.room cockroaches even had a mouse. Ceiling fans useless couldn't sleep with heat..Bath so old full of big cracks ready to fall out.
The place needs gutted out and modernised..only good thing was location.

Ok clean hotel but needs air conditioning

This is a clean hotel in a very nice position in the middle of Fanabe beach Costa Adeje.
Lots of restaurants and nice bars and good entertainment for all.
No air conditioning is a big let down although you can HIRE fans.
Hope this helps.

I stay in hotels every week and this hotel from service to cleanliness was very below standard
It started with reception a man who told me I needed a Voucher I booked with Hotel.com who I always book with and never need a voucher. After 5nin he reliszied I did not need one but the told me my room was not ready and I had to come back at 1.30pm ok this happens but it was 3.30pm. After handing over my Spanish ID and driving license the man said he could not except the booking with out a passport, at this point a shift change over at reception this time a lady was dealing with me who was more than happy to except the ID. And up graded my room, then she asked me to pay, I asked to pay when I check out, but this hotel expects payment up front ok no problem but I ask to see the room first to which she answered if you buy a train ticket do I ask to see the train !! At this point I just had all I could take and now it was getting to late so I payed
OMG the room was so dirty my feet were black from the floor cockroaches every where. I could go on but it's just so sad that this kind of thing happens.

OK, but needs updating...

Hotel is ok but I would not recommended to anyone staying in the summer months as rooms do not come with air conditioning! You can rent a mobile unit for €60 + €20 deposit. Other things to note is there is nowhere near enough sun beds for the number of guests or umbrellas.

Our room was in the depths of the hotel and took a good 10 mins to get to from reception which included a lift that seemed too dodgy to use.

Overall, I would say there are many other hotels which are nicer than this one in the same resort.

Nice apartments in great location

Have stayed in this area several times and always thought these apartments were in a fantastic location. On arrival reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was basic but very clean with everything you could possibly need even an oven/grill. We had a room on the 2nd floor with a lovely side sea view. Must mention that room was very warm and the two ceiling fans did not provide any relief so we rented a fan which helped. We had breakfast included which was adequate, but only used it a few times. The pool and sunbathing areas were on the roof top so the views were fantastic overlooking the beach, there were loads of sun beds too. Loved this! Plenty of shops/bars and restaurants nearby and very reasonable. Overall a very enjoyable holiday and would definately go back.

we booked what we thought was a 1 bedroom appartment and on arival were given a studio, had sent email for sea view and all we could see was the other balconys of the hotel, we booked for 2 weeks and the hotel said they could maybe give us a 1 bedroom for the 2 nd week, at extra cost of £25 per day, we did not stay for 1 day and spent the first day of our holiday looking for another appartment, we did ask to speak to the manager but they said come back on monday as he was off, the girl on the desk was not helpful at all and insisted we booked a studio, so we got our bags and left when we found another appartment, we returned to see manager on monday and still did not get to see him but we had to pay 89 euro for 1 night, and we didnt even stay there.

When booking, I asked for a room on either level 2 or 3 but not 1 i.e. A block as when previously having experience of the lift not working and my husband being 85 yrs found difficultly walking up stairs (not down). Of course, not one listened and we were down in the depths of A block AND THE LIFT WAS NOT ALWAYS WORKING. On top of that, whilst the apartment itself was clean, the beds were very very stained and torn in places and could do with new mattresses and the springs in them were well past their best! They dug into you . We did however, take advantage of their eveing meal and found the staff in the dinning room very pleasant and helpful and cost wise, it was far cheaper for a three course meal than outside. It was a pity thought that the food was not always hot and therefore we had to heat our meal up in the microware provided.

The studio apartment did have a lovely view of the sea but we did sometimes want to walk out which was not always possible because of the lift situation.

Be carefull where your room is.

The location of this hotel is great, we found the reception staff not helpful at all, the rooms were clean and tidy, the room walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the room next door!! We we're unfortunate to have a famaily next to us who's idea of a good holiday was to argue at 2.00 am in the morning !!. Worst of all, if your room is one next to the road , be prepared to be woken up every morning at 4.00am by the road swippers!!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück sehr vielfältig, es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Im Außenbereich gibt es nur wenige Tische, das ist etwas schade. Die Lage vom Hotel war für uns super, alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Da ab 23 Uhr die Livemusik in der Umgebung aufhört, war die etwas lautere Geräuchskulisse auf unserem Balkon für uns auch kein Problem. Die Anlage ist sehr geschmackvoll, wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Apartment war sehr geräumig und nett eingerichtet. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt.
